Ocupan mayor espacio los atracos, asesinatos, violaciones, narcotráfico, extorsiones, secuestros, infidelidad, suicidios, corrupción, videos sexuales, fotos íntimas filtradas por paparazzi, en fin todo tipo de noticias negativas que resaltan en primer plano la capacidad maléfica del ser humano. \n\nEs cierto que ocurren en los cuatro puntos cardinales del mundo pero también es cierto que hay deportistas ganando competencias; músicos y cantantes destacándose en sencillos y fastuosos escenarios; artistas plásticos mostrando su creatividad en pequeñas y grandes salas de exposición; investigadores trabajando en la búsqueda de la cura de enfermedades; jóvenes profesionales al servicio de la humanidad; religiosos compartiendo su fe y llevando consuelo; miles de grupos de voluntarios brindando su solidaridad en medio de tanta miseria; niños, adolescentes educándose y formándose para el futuro; ambientalistas dedicados a la preservación del medio ambiente; gente compartiendo sus conocimientos para enseñar a otros a sobrellevar sus propias penas, en fin.\n\nVivimos entre el bien y el mal. Nos parecemos un tanto al saltamontes sorteando problemas y momentos desagradables que nos restan energía y tiempo para mantener nuestro propio equilibrio, serenidad, paz interior. No se trata de pretender vivir en un **_“mundo rosa”_** donde todo funcione de manera perfecta pero hace falta buscar un punto medio. **_No se trata de huir de lo que acontece_** pero si nos dejamos influenciar todo el día por ese bombardeo de notas cargadas de ondas negativas acabaremos en un centro de atención para dementes.\n\nLa realidad no es solo muerte, miseria, desolación, guerras, corrupción, maldad. Del otro lado está el verdor de las montañas; los pájaros que trinan; el capullo de donde sale una multicolor mariposa; nacen bebés; hay gente construyendo, edificando, sonriendo, creando, rezando, ayudando. Lo que sucede es que le damos más importancia al odio, porque quien obra de manera dañina sin duda es impulsado por el odio, la envidia, la frustración. Son personas que tienden a dividirnos por clases, color de piel, de sexo, de religión, de ideologías. Ellos nos juzgan, discriminan o señalan simplemente porque pensamos o somos diferentes. \n\nDicen los especialistas que nuestro cerebro está dividido en dos partes. El lado derecho donde están los sentimientos, las emociones, la pasión y en el lado izquierdo donde albergan la lógica, el razonamiento y el análisis. Solemos anclarnos en el izquierdo y desatendemos el derecho. No nos damos el chance para cultivar, abonar, mimar nuestras emociones. Las tenemos encerradas y no las dejamos aflorar en su total esplendor. Dañino resulta eso para nuestra salud, para nuestro organismo. Quienes tenemos un ápice de buenos sentimientos no podríamos mirar al frente dejando atrás los rostros de nuestros hermanos clamando ayuda, pidiendo comida, agua, atención, un abrazo.\n\nJustamente este tiempo me ha ratificado que mis padres tenían razón ayer y tienen razón hoy. Nos criaron con la idea de servir a otros. Y justamente colaborando, tendiendo una mano a los demás así no le conozcamos, ayudando a quien podamos desde nuestras posibilidades hace más llevadera esta cruel realidad.\n\nEl bien y el mal han existido siempre. Desde que el mundo es mundo nos movemos entre esas dos aguas. Justo por eso, clavo a clavo, murió Cristo en la cruz, fue asesinado Mahatma Gandhi y Martin Luther King Jr.  Solo aspiro que en Venezuela al final triunfe el bien sobre el mal. La justicia sobre la corrupción. La razón sobre la insensatez. Los intereses de la mayoría sobre los de unos pocos. Los deseos de servir sobre las ansias de poder. El amor sobre la intolerancia. El perdón sobre el odio. Ocupan mayor espacio los atracos, asesinatos, violaciones, narcotráfico, extorsiones, secuestros, infidelidad, suicidios, corrupción, videos sexuales, fotos íntimas filtradas por paparazzi, en fin todo tipo de noticias negativas que resaltan en primer plano la capacidad maléfica del ser humano. \n\nEs cierto que ocurren en los cuatro puntos cardinales del mundo pero también es cierto que hay deportistas ganando competencias; músicos y cantantes destacándose en sencillos y fastuosos escenarios; artistas plásticos mostrando su creatividad en pequeñas y grandes salas de exposición; investigadores trabajando en la búsqueda de la cura de enfermedades; jóvenes profesionales al servicio de la humanidad; religiosos compartiendo su fe y llevando consuelo; miles de grupos de voluntarios brindando su solidaridad en medio de tanta miseria; niños, adolescentes educándose y formándose para el futuro; ambientalistas dedicados a la preservación del medio ambiente; gente compartiendo sus conocimientos para enseñar a otros a sobrellevar sus propias penas, en fin.\n\nVivimos entre el bien y el mal. Nos parecemos un tanto al saltamontes sorteando problemas y momentos desagradables que nos restan energía y tiempo para mantener nuestro propio equilibrio, serenidad, paz interior. No se trata de pretender vivir en un **_“mundo rosa”_** donde todo funcione de manera perfecta pero hace falta buscar un punto medio. **_No se trata de huir de lo que acontece_** pero si nos dejamos influenciar todo el día por ese bombardeo de notas cargadas de ondas negativas acabaremos en un centro de atención para dementes.\n\nLa realidad no es solo muerte, miseria, desolación, guerras, corrupción, maldad. Del otro lado está el verdor de las montañas; los pájaros que trinan; el capullo de donde sale una multicolor mariposa; nacen bebés; hay gente construyendo, edificando, sonriendo, creando, rezando, ayudando. Lo que sucede es que le damos más importancia al odio, porque quien obra de manera dañina sin duda es impulsado por el odio, la envidia, la frustración. Son personas que tienden a dividirnos por clases, color de piel, de sexo, de religión, de ideologías. Ellos nos juzgan, discriminan o señalan simplemente porque pensamos o somos diferentes. \n\nDicen los especialistas que nuestro cerebro está dividido en dos partes. El lado derecho donde están los sentimientos, las emociones, la pasión y en el lado izquierdo donde albergan la lógica, el razonamiento y el análisis. Solemos anclarnos en el izquierdo y desatendemos el derecho. No nos damos el chance para cultivar, abonar, mimar nuestras emociones. Las tenemos encerradas y no las dejamos aflorar en su total esplendor. Dañino resulta eso para nuestra salud, para nuestro organismo. Muchos me  dirán que resulta imposible desligarse, ser indiferentes o no darles un sitial a todas esas **_“malas noticias”_**. Pues es cierto. Quienes tenemos un ápice de buenos sentimientos no podríamos mirar al frente dejando atrás los rostros de nuestros hermanos clamando ayuda, pidiendo comida, agua, atención, un abrazo.\n\nJustamente este tiempo me ha ratificado que mis padres tenían razón ayer y tienen razón hoy. Nos criaron con la idea de servir a otros. Y justamente colaborando, tendiendo una mano a los demás así no le conozcamos, ayudando a quien podamos desde nuestras posibilidades hace más llevadera esta cruel realidad.\n\nEl bien y el mal han existido siempre. Desde que el mundo es mundo nos movemos entre esas dos aguas. Justo por eso, clavo a clavo, murió Cristo en la cruz, fue asesinado Mahatma Gandhi y Martin Luther King Jr.  Solo aspiro que en Venezuela al final triunfe el bien sobre el mal. La justicia sobre la corrupción. La razón sobre la insensatez. Los intereses de la mayoría sobre los de unos pocos. Los deseos de servir sobre las ansias de poder. El amor sobre la intolerancia. El perdón sobre el odio. La vida sobre la muerte. \n\nLes regalo esta canción **_“Camina siempre adelante”_** cuyo contenido justamente se basa en transitar el camino del bien una vez que hemos alzado el vuelo del hogar materno.
