En mi país se producen alguno de los mejores rones del Caribe, y de ahí que nos interese catarlos y aprender a apreciarlos. Catar no es más que un análisis sensorial, por lo que cualquiera puede catar un producto ya que tiene lo necesario: vista, olfato y gusto. Por lo general los rones mientras más amarillentos y pálidos son más jóvenes, mientras que mientras más oscuros y opacos significa que han pasado más tiempo en la barrica de madera. Acercamos la copa a nariz y hacemos inhalaciones cortas (como si olfatearamos estilo como lo hacen los perros). La idea es saltar lo obvio: madera, ron, alcohol; y buscar similitud de otros aromas. Es común que te huela a frutas, frutos secos, especias, café, chocolate, caramelo, miel... Un buen catador detecta muchos aromas en poco tiempo.       "body": "Hace un año me despegué de la fuente gastronómica, para cubrir las protestas de calle. Eran días complicados en Venezuela, la calle estaba encendida.   \n\nDurante meses olvidé la fotografía de platos, los eventos sociales y la crónicas de viajes, para mostrar a través de algunos medios locales lo que estaba ocurriendo en las calles de nuestros país. Lacrimógenas, perdigones, detenciones... cada día el gobierno de Maduro mostraba su cara más cruel. No importaba la ruta de la marcha, cuando llegara a zona limítrofe del municipio Libertador- El principado de Jorge Rodírguez (PSUV) - aparecería el piquete de la guardia y serían reprimidos. Nadie se esperaba que las lacrimogenas comenzaran a salir por los laterales. La reacción fue de confrontar, y los manifestantes terminaron tumbando la cerca. Las caras más conocidas de la oposición encabezaron la caminata, pero nuevamente las tanquetas y los efectivos recibieron a \"bombazos\" a los manifestantes. Ese día Lilian Tintori, Pizarro, Delsa Solorzano, entre otros, recibieron golpes y lacrimogenas. La comunidad internacional fue testigo de como este régimen es capaz de todo por atornillarse en el poder. Jovenes, viejitos, diputados, alcaldes, gobernadores, periodistas, gente de a pié. Todos fuimos victimas de una discriminación política atroz. \n\nLo que pasó quizá ya es historia, pero con orgullo podemos decir que fuimos parte de la misma. Que nos oponemos, resistimos y seguimos trabajando por una Venezuela de cambio. Es dulce, lleva café y chocolate. A las mujeres les encanta! This is one of my favorite cocktails and the ones that ask me the most at the bar. It's sweet, it has coffee and chocolate. Women love it!\n\n(En español)\n\nIngredientes: \n2 onzas de leche evaporada\n1 onza de vodka blanco\n2 cucharadas de chocolate en polvo. \n1 onza de licor de café\n1 barra de chocolate\nHielo\n\nAgrega la leche, el vodka, el hielo y el chocolate en polvo en la coctelera, y agita fuertemente por 1 minuto.  En una copa Martini, agrega el licor de café como primera capa, luego agrega la mezcla de la coctelera, y se le coloca chocolate rallado por encima para decorar.  Fácil, rápido y delicioso!\n\nIngredients:\n2 oz of evaporated milk\n1 oz white vodka\n2 tablespoons of chocolate powder.\n1 oz of coffee liqueur\n1 chocolate bar\nIce\n\nAdd the milk, vodka, ice and chocolate powder in the shaker, and shake vigorously for 1 minute. In a Martini glass, add the coffee liqueur as the first layer, then add the shaker mixture, and place grated chocolate on top to decorate.
