      "body": "It is said that wisdom comes with age. Should young people always respect and obey their elders?\n\nIt is all good to generalise that young people should always respect and obey the older folks. However, in real life, respect and obedience sometimes are considered two different things. In my opinion, we must respect seniority as they have years of experience as compared to youngsters. As for obedience, I think that we should obey only if we are convinced that what we are being asked to do is right.\n\nWe have been taught that we should respect those older than ourselves, such as our parents, grandparents and teachers. We should give them due respect by greeting them, helping them around, by being polite and listening to their point of views, as age is the best teacher. These little gestures mean a lot to elders and do not require a great deal of effort from us.\n\nHowever, obedience is when we submit to our elders’ authority, which may not always be right. Still if we do as they say, it would be blind obedience, which I highly disapprove. Using our common sense, we sometimes disagree with our elders and do what we feel is right.\n\nWisdom comes with age and experience, be it our teachers, grandparents or someone we are close to. We respect our elders as we trust them, knowing that they would never let us go astray. They provide us with solid advice on many things that may help in life or guide us due to which we are bound to show them respect. They may teach us not to take our family for granted, or to always share our emotions and not to bottle them up inside. However, due to generation gap and opinions colliding, we youngsters may not always do as they say. We question the motive and not obey the advice which opposes our thinking.\n\nWe listen to their advice respectfully, but, in the end, the decision is ours — such as the time when my grandparents told me how they really wanted me to become a doctor and how beneficial it was for the whole family as they can enjoy free medical service at all times.\n\nIn addition, as they were aging, they did need medical help to keep track of their sugar level and blood pressure. However, it was my dream to become an architect and interior designer. They had taught me how to not be afraid to fail at anything that we chose in life.\n\nSo after listening to their advice and point of view, I took up pre-medical subjects in school but, in the end, I did as I had wished. I worked tirelessly, studied harder and entered in my ideal profession. This way, I did not completely obey them, yet, I did learn the basics of what my grandparents wanted. I also did what I had wished for.\n\nIn conclusion, we must respect those older than us. However, we should discern between our dreams and the wishes of our elders before we carry out their instructions. Soon, a faint noise from somewhere jerked me back to my senses and I felt a sense of unfamiliarity in the atmosphere that surrounded me. I gazed through clouds of mist that hung across this land so strange. The sky was bedecked with tinsel and fairy lights, but in the form of stars.\n\nMy fingers had gone blue with fright and vapour from my breath coalesced onto my lips. I then noticed “Daily Saturn” — a weird and unfamiliar magazine that lay beside me and which brought to my knowledge the ‘gold-rush’ on Saturn. I stood there flabbergasted; alive without a space suit or a cylinder of oxygen. What was I doing 746 million miles from Earth?\n\nThough life on this planet apparently didn’t exist, yet I could hear some noises miles away. Soon I found myself trudging through the mire towards where I suspected this commotion to be from. I still couldn’t believe how I could easily take breathes without an oxygen cylinder. I slowly got up and walked towards the direction from where the noises were coming.\n\nLo and behold! Before long, I found myself standing completely stupefied in front of the infamous gold mine of Saturn — Reko Diq. My eyes were reduced to chinks and my grin extended to the far crannies of my countenance at this sight so bizarre. Heaps of gold nuggets lay before me in a manner unconceivable to the human mind. It was all lustrous and reflected tiny shafts of light as it gleamed marvellously under the moonlight.\n\nWas this some reverie? As I finally gained control of my senses, I realised there was commotion inside the mine. It was thronged with people — people much like those on Earth, but quite tall, with big eyes, big hands and large feet. These people had the peculiarity of staring at strangers like me with utter mistrust. As I made my way inside the mine, they became silent; I kept a humble smile on my face.\n\nAs my entry in the mine made them silent, they started gazing at me intently. I ignored these people and turned to see what was inside the mine. I was astonished to see that the inner walls of the mine were all laden with gold. Gold was all what I could see everywhere. Soon the applause at something caught my attention.\n\nThrough the multitude, I glimpsed someone cheering on something dark as coal which he held in his hands, now raised. Upon inquiry, I was told that the first ‘gold-nugget,’ in the history of Saturn, had finally been unearthed and the meant that the ancient myth of gold, thought to be beauteously black, had proven to be true.\n\nI further inquired about what all the burnished stuff at the mine’s entrance was, and to my bewilderment, I was told that it was mere gravel.\n\nGold on Earth was gravel on Saturn, and Earth’s coal was gold for the people on Saturn! This was outlandish. I knew with certainty that this so-called gravel was in fact gold.
