We were already in Alikadam Bazar. Today we would go to the \"Damtua Waterfall\"\n\nSo Let's start the journey. \nFrom Alikadam Bazar we went to the Pan bazar about 10 mins distance by jeep. From there we reserved another jeep for a place named \" 17 Kilometers\". Our guide would be waiting for us  there but he told us he would meet us at Alikadam   Bazar. I am bad in remembering names so I forgot his name. From Pan bazar we bought rice,egg, chicken, potatoes, spices and every necessaries for cooking our dinner. Our jeep arrived within this time. And this was really painful. They won't let us pass with our guide. We requested them but it was no use. So we contacted with the guide and told him to come, there was another obstacle the BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh) wouldn’t  permit us to go to the trail that we have selected. So we have to lie about it. Guide took more than one hour to arrive. He was really a pathetic man. He told us there was a problem and he couldn't go with us. We had some bargain with him about the matter and then he gave us another guide for the route. Finally our jeep started to roll again. The views of the road is a really great one.  There were mountains around us. Sometimes residence and shops caught our sight. Everyone changed their dress for trekking. You can't do trekking on regular dress. First we got down from the road to a plain and started walking. We could see hills and mountains infront of us. We we would be climbing them soon. There was white clouds here and there in the blue sky. We were walking through bushes and jungles. Sometimes there was water stream. We were enjoying. After walking for an hours we started to get tired. The weights were really a pain. Everyone was carrying averagely 7 kg of weight. We had already climbed 2 hills and another was in front of us. In few points there were broken parts and the cavities were deep. We crossed those by trees, bamboo culvert. The sun was shining  brightly above our. The track goes up and down like 50 feet down and again 100 feet up then again down and up. We were trekking for 2 hours and almost climbed 4-5 mountains and reach a residential area named \"Member Para\".\n\nWe would leave our baggages there and completed the remaining track. Some of us fall behind so we were waiting for them and taking rest, drinking water. We waste almost 25 mins there. The sun started to tilt. So we need to rush.  Now we felt light. And were moving like a feather.  Now we weren’t  having any trouble. In some points we were crossing by running. On your way we met the famous  \" Bang Jhiri\". It really satisfied me. After that we need to walk for another half an hour to reach our desired Waterfall \"Damtua\". At the end point while we could hear the waterfall sound the track just went down and down. The slippery slop was making the track really dangerous it was bout 100 feet down straight. The Couldn't be seen. As it is winter season so the temperature was pretty low and cold water of the waterfall was giving a chill feeling. There were total three water fall. The Damtua was the biggest one. And the other two was just a line of water. They also get bigger in the monsoon.  Three sides of the waterfall was blocked. So we all have bath there and then changed into dry ones. The sun had already went down. The darkness begun to gasp the environment.  We already started our returning session. As soon as we climbed the clip the jungle was full of darkness. So many insects were buzzing around. Some were flying infront of our flash lights. We couldn’t see the sky, actually we were too tired to look at the sky.  In a point the sky could be seen clear. As I look up I was stunned to thousands of starts looking down upon us. We all gathered there turned of our flash lights, sat on the ground and was enjoying the view of thousands star. The sky looked very clear and the star seems to be bigger than our urban sky. After resting for 10 mins we again started to walk. The natural beauty  really gave us some strength to walk again. We were walking for hours talking with each other, planning about dinner, what injuries we got, how much fascinating the waterfall and the Bang Jhiri  was!, the mystery of the jungle.\nAt last we reached the Member Para where we would stay for the night.\n\nWe all were exhausted.  So every one lie down,  drink water and prepared coffee. While we were drinking coffee we gather our necessaries to cook dinner. Everyone helped hand in hand in the work. We would eat Hospos  with chicken curry. Asif one of us could cook really good. So we helped him and he cooked the dinner. As there was no plate the dinner was served in banana leaf. The food was really good. After such a long journey everyone eat a lot. The sky full of thousands starts,  insects buzzing all around the darkness of the night, smell of the hill, our heart was overwhelmed by everything. While we entered most of us fast asleep, few were whispering. I just put my head on by bag and thought what surprise is waiting for me the next day. I didn’t know while I felt asleep.\n\nThe day was really great. That time we felt winded but while I am writing this I can really feel what I experienced and I wanna go there again and again. \n\nHope you all enjoy my Damtua travel. So I am here today to share my trekking experience.</p>\n\nhttps://img.travelfeed.io/sants1311nfs%2F20210108T135030870Z-IMG_20210108_195012.jpg\n\n<p>From my last post you now that we stayed in 'Member Para' a village of hill tribes for the night and in the next morning we would go to \"Khamchong Para\" another hill tribes village.</p>\n\n\n<p>Khamchong Para is a hill tribes village in Alikadam which is situated about 1700 ft above the sea level. There is about less than 20 family lives there. We were going there because it is close to the Hill named 'Kristong' which we wanted to summit. \n\nWe would  stay in the village for the night and the next day we would summit the hill. Khamchong Para is about 30 kilometres far from the Member Para. We would get only a 4 kilometres ride by jeep and the rest of the way will be completed on foot. So It’s  pretty much exciting lets get into the journey.</p>\n\nhttps://img.travelfeed.io/sants1311nfs%2F20210108T140224711Z-FB_IMG_1610114260961.jpg\n\n<p>We got up at 6:00 in the morning and boiled a degchi of water and made our noodles for the breakfast. At 6:30 am we bade goodbye to the owners and other members and started our trekking.  There was a light mist all around. The bushes were full of dews and our pants and shoes were getting wet. But the cold weather was good for trekking. We need to cross about 3 big hill and some small ones too. Our legs were sore and it was getting difficult to climb the first mountain. Moreover were pretty tired too. The weight of the bags were average 4 kilogrammes. We were running out of our breath after crossing a little distance. Everyone was trying there best to keep up the speed. We need to track for three hours to reach the 17 kilo where our jeep was waiting for us. It takes about half an hour to climb the first mountain and we were too tired. So we took a short rest for ten minutes and again put ourselves together.</p>\n\n\n<p>The red sun started to peep upon us. There were varieties of flowers on the way, the light mist around us we were huffing but enjoying the view. After trekking for total 3 hours we reached the 17 kilo. We would travel 4 kilometres by this jeep and it would drop us at Tindu-Thanci Road. The sun was now shining brightly, we could saw the mountains clearly,  colourful flowers all round us. The road just goes up and up. The jeep was moving slowly so we could enjoy the natural scenario.  I could fell the heat of the sun. It took about  1 hour to complete this 4 kilometres.</p>\n\nhttps://img.travelfeed.io/sants1311nfs%2F20210108T140941454Z-IMG_20201108_090128.jpg\n<p>Now we would walk the rest of the way. At first there was brick road so it was easy to cross that part. The brick road also went up and down.\n\n\n As were entering deep the road was about to end and we could saw the forest and there was actually no road we need to go through the bushes and made our own way. But we didn’t know  what was waiting for us inside those bushes. \n\nWe were going through the tall grasses were around us, insects buzzing around, the sun shining,  wet soil under our feet, we were enjoying the adventure. Suddenly we encountered hundreds of spider, and they didn’t look so innocent,  they looked poisonous. The threads were covering the whole way. \n\nAs we were destructed by the spider another thing took the advantage. We were now under attack of leech. It may seem to you that leech may attack but there were hundreds of leeches around us. We could see that the leeches were coming towards us. I thinking we could imagine  the horrific scene. We couldn’t  rest for 10 seconds as we stand in a place we got a leech climbing our body. We all got bite from the leeches. I count up to 13 leeches in my body then I give up another member count up to 17. So the trail became more pathetic.  You couldn’t take rest for 10 seconds. We were out of water after 2 hours and 4 more hours to go. We were too tired. One of us vomit on the way.  We saw a centipede about one feet long orange  in colour with black strip. We were going like this no water, devastated body, checking our bodies after few minutes. At one point we started to eat dry glucose. We crossed about 6 mountain to reach Khamchong Para. Then we got into our house and took some rest and went to a near waterfall for bath.</p>\n\n\n<p>The water was too cold, but nothing to do we had our bath and returned to the house. After a evening snack we started to prepare our dinner.\n\n I cooked the dinner. We all had a stomach full and then were making our bed and then went out to enjoy the night.</p>\nThe sky was full of big starts the peace and tranquility around us we could the mountains around us.\n\n Tomorrow we will summit the Cristong Peak and Rurang peak.I will share the summit experience with you guys and those are more thrilling.       "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\n### Hello\nEveryone hope you all are doing great. I was in vacation for a week. So within this time I take trip to some beautiful places of Bandarban. I will share it with all. \n\nLast week I was in a tour. So today I will share my journey to Alikadam.\nThe route to Alikadam m dom that I went was Dhaka-Chittagong-Chakaria-Alikadam. So lets start the journey. Have a nice trip.\n\nThere were 15 members in our team. We all were friends. It's been a while we haven’t made a train journey. So We decided to go by train. We booked 15 tickets in the same compartment one week before the journey. Our train scheduled was at 10:30 on 6th November. As we need to stay for 4 days or more so we packed our essential things like dress, foods, tents, medicine, tools etc. \n\n![IMG_20201105_205723.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmbNqkpCgbMwUAWmDJ2NCHfaAFEPQ2mo5DghPkZTKBT4fi/IMG_20201105_205723.jpg)\n\n\nSo on 6th I along with 4 others started for the railway station as we were in the same area. We will met others in the station. We reached  the station before one and a half hour before the time. We 5 were the first to reach the station. Group by group everyone was joining us. With in an hour everyone reached the station. So we boarded into the train there was a competition of taking the window seat. I was a winner of the competition.  But it was worthless because most of the time we passed our time roaming in the train. Few minutes after boarding the train blow its whistle and began to move slowly. The sky was a little bit cloudy with a half moon in it. The train was going on in its own motion, pu-jhik-jhik-jhik. Thr moon was also running with us. The lights of the urbanisation was falling behind. The vehicles were waiting infront  of the rail crossing to pass our train. Everyone was gossiping with one another. We were really excited about this tour. After so many days together  again we were going on a tour. The time was going good. After sometime the ticket checker came and checked our tickets. Then we left our seats and went to the door. It was a little cold out there but we were enjoying the view. Our train was running we were relaxing and planning what we would do next. Our train stopped at a crossing for half an hour. Some of us got off the train walked over railway lines. It was cold outside. A night with a half moon. Far way we could hear a train whistle and within few seconds the light of the train caught our sight. Hurriedly we got in our train and clear the path. After few minutes our train began to run again. All on a sudden we saw 6 to 7 people with the security was running. We heard that someone's  bag was snatched. So they all were running after the snatcher. But it was useless. He already escaped.\nOur train then stopped at a station. We buy some snacks from there. After having the snacks we all took rest. Because tomorrow we had a long way to go. Almost at 4 am I woked up by the felling of speed motion. I opened my eyes and looked outside. The train was going furiously. The speed really thrilled me. I was enjoying. The train stopped at Chittagong Railway Station at 6 am. We took our baggages and leave the train. There was about thousands people in the junction at that time. Every one was rushing. We got freshed and then show our tickets and leave the station. Outside the station there were some restaurants. We had our breakfast and took 7 rickshaws to the bus stand. We booked 15 tickets for Chakaria . It was about 5 hours journey to Chakaria  from Chittagong. Our bus arrived after 20 mins. We boarded into the bus. Everyone was pretty tried after the train journey.  So we fall asleep as soon as we sit on our seats. The sleep wasn’t that tight. The rays were falling on me straight. It was very disturbing. I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I covered my face with a towel and fall asleep. Then after one and half hour more our bus finally stopped at Chakaria . \n\nThere was a jeep waiting for us in Chakaria  that we had hired before coming here. Its about 2500 feet above sea level. Its a 33 km long road know as Thanchi-Alikadam Road. The beauty of this road can't be described in words. Somewhere the road just goes up and up. And the again down. It feels like a rollercoaster. The sky was sunny with some white clouds. We all were enjoying the beauty  of the nature. It was really a great view. I wish to go there again and again. After entering our ID we again started our journey. As we were going deep the beauty was increasing in every step. So we pass about 30 mins there took some rest. As I said before that it was just like a rollercoaster. So we need to take rest. Then again we started our ride and finally we reached the Alikadam  bazar. We can visit steemit blog to learn more. Now I'm writing this post regarding the contest.\n\nToday I get up 10:30 in the morning. After having my breakfast I go  out to meety friends. We pass some time with each other and plan to go on shopping at the afternoon.\n\nAfter returning home the sky covers with dark cloud and it starts to rain. I showered in the rain. At 2:30 I have my lunch. After lunch I play games. Bus is the easiest route to the market.\nSo we take a bus from our nearest bus stand. So I have nothing to do but leave the shirt idea way. While we are looking for our dress we have fun with each other, noticing things.\nThen I go to a Bata showroom. Try couple of them. A weinbrenner suits in my feet. My friends agree in this. She will leave tomorrow morning so we pass sometime talking with her after dinner. Then prepared my bed and start playing PUBG with my friends,  at 2:30 am I finally fall in sleep.\n\nThe day goes well. All on a sudden some kids were running with football in the field. We couldn’t Control ourselves. Its about 3-4 years last we have played in the rain. Flour, salt oil, potatoes and so on. I make a doe and live it for one hour. Durning this time I was preparing the pur for the shingara.
