      "body": "As I struggle to fall asleep I can't help but wonder if I am heading in the right direction.\nI wonder what the right direction even is.\nAre mistakes predominantly what have gotten me to this point. Is it success? It reads as follows:\n\n\"Hello - my dear friend,\n\nI know that it seems as if you are not in a happy space right now, but the truth is these feelings will never really go away. I know that you do not want to hear this news. Do not think of it as a catastrophe. Instead realize that doubt, fear and frustration are not what define you. Do not let the fear of missing perfection stop you from enjoying life.\n\nWhen the waves come and knock you over, keep on paddling until your head is above water. This is the only way.\nYou will be able to breathe again. You will get better at swimming and you will learn to predict the water. I know that I would want some advice if I got a chance to see my future, so I will give you some.\n\nPick something and work really hard at it. You will never experience the feeling of accomplishment if you jump between tasks as soon as they don't feel right for you. Enjoy your time with friends. Don't pass it up for a chance to be alone. You will not work on a Friday night. Don't lie to yourself. It is okay to have fun.\n\nStay away from the easy highs. They will always bring you to the same low when you have to accept that they are not sustainable. Get off your chair more. Keep on exercising, even if it is just a little.       "body": "Good evening fellow modern pioneers,\n\nToday was freedom day in South Africa. This is a public holiday that commemorates the first post-apartheid elections held on this day in 1994. For many working on a public holiday is not a choice. The way things are here mean that for many the money is too important to give up.\n\n I am privileged not to fall into this category and am grateful for my opportunity to study engineering. Not just engineering, but my favorite type of engineering: mechatronics. \nThis discipline combines electronic engineering with mechanical engineering practices. Mechatronics is pursued in order to create systems which are fast, efficient and human-indepenent.\n\nMuch like my experience with steemit, I am a Minnow of engineering. However, today I feel as though my team and I have accomplished something meaningful. We have created Betty. Yes, I know parents think their kids are the chosen ones and I'm her parent, but boy isn't she a beaut?\n\n<a href='https://d.tube/#!/v/mechatronics/pvdxjjk3'><img src='https://i.imgsafe.org/8c/8c81cd2377.png'></a>\n_Betty in All Her Glory_\n\nBetty is the brain child of five stressed out kids and over one hundred hours of work. For a large part of this project we were worried about getting done in time for our demonstration. Today we finally managed to get both of her axes working simultaneously.\n\nBetty is a maze-solving machine operating with two DC motors using PID control. The two axes allow a user to remotely solve a ping-ping ball maze.
