| title | 'N OORSAAK VAN EUWELS |
| body | "Utilitarian" filosofie was ingesluit in Suid-Afrika se Konstitusie. Afgodery veroorsaak korrupsie a.g.v. |

| body | Hello mdpienaar! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you: 1. **Keep your passwords safe:** Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure. 2. **Get Steem rewards:** When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more. 3. **Upvote wisely:** When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power. 4. **Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power:** Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes. 5. **Have Fun and Enjoy!** _For a detailed writeup, check our post [Getting Started: 5 Essential Tips for New Users](https://steemit.com/@steemsociety/getting-started-5-essential-tips-for-new-users)._ Good luck on your Steem journey! Follow us if you like to receive more helpful tips and maximize your Steemit experience. |

| title | Primarily philosophy - 15 June 2018 |
| body | My blog will currently contain primarily philosophy. How long the present will last, i cannot say. The conscious presupposition (belief) driving my writing, is, the ideas Truth and Love are more important than any human being who lived and lives. Other ideas, to be respected above all, will be added in future, i guess. Philosophy called *Intequinism*, was influenced by my entrepreneurial experience of about 10 years, and researching the experience for 9 years, whilst employed in academia. Part of the research was completing a "Master of Philosophy in Philosophy" degree. A reader of *Intequinism* could be surprised how relevant philosophy and religion are for *intequity* (capital of ideas). Before the entrepreneurial experience i qualified as Chartered Accountant. Every now and then i am inspired to write something. I guess it will not be often, because most i wanted to write, i did, and Africahead already published it on the Internet with digital books, presently available at the iBooks/iTunes and Amazon links below. https://itunes.apple.com/us/author/marquard-dirk-pienaar/id910108241?mt=11 https://www.amazon.com/Marquard-Dirk-Pienaar/e/B00MDFWQ34 Regards |

| body | **Cryptocurrency philosophical background. Why did cryptocurrencies come into being? What will the future of cryptocurrencies be?** ***A philosophical background*; *why did cryptocurrencies come into being?*** Money developed from society having trust in physical matter, like gold and silver to society having trust in systems. Long ago, if those (usually royalty) who coined money, debased coins by mixing base metals with gold and silver, the coins devalued because society valued the precious metal content. That view is still current when trust is lost in governments and systems. Many people are currently reverting to stockpiling gold and silver because they have lost trust in the world economic system, especially the FIAT money system. The following problem of the FIAT money system are the primary reason. Printed money supports primarily the people closest to the money generating machine. One recent example was the bailouts of many banks. Newly printed money basically bailed out the people working in the banks. OK, if the banks were not bailed out much other general economic problems would have occurred, but that does not change the privileged position of people working in the banking sector, whose jobs and financial security are more secure than others who are not working as close to money printing. Another big problem of FIAT money exists with regard to development of ideas. Ideas are common property according to the law, therefore privileged people, who, due to their positions in society, have easy access to old and new money, develop most good new ideas. My philosophy called *Intequinism* focuses on these circumstances and its philosophical and religious background. The development of good new ideas is interlinked closely with idolatry and the coining/printing of money. During the feudal system people were identified with land. They lived on pieces of land and worked the land. Part of the crops was given to their feudal lords and part was consumed. I can't say exactly how money was distributed during those times, but something definitely changed during the 18th century revolutions and communist revolutions. The labor theory of money became a dominant idea. John Locke and Karl Marx, for example, paid much attention to it in their philosophy. Basically they said all value is represented by labor. Let's say 1kg of meat costs US$10 in a shop. According to them the US$10 can be calculated by adding all the labor value, which brought the 1kg meat to where it costs US$10, together. Marx used the calculation to argue that capitalists, who controls money, takes an unfair share of the US$10 because their labor does not represent, the part of the US$ 10 they have in their pockets after the meat have been sold in a shop. The result of the labor theory of value is the current state of affairs. People have legal rights to salaries and wages, they did not have during the feudal times. If a person worked for hours according to an agreement but was not paid s/he can go to court to get the payment. How does the above relate to cryptocurrencies? The philosophers who promoted the labor value of things did not consider ideas and the value of ideas. They did not consider *intequity* (capital of ideas). Locke did consider *intequity* with regard to the value of land by writing a good idea can increase the value of land exponentially, but generally in their time, it seems, arguing the legal enforcement of payments for hourly labor was the problem to overcome. Well, that brings me to the current. What is a current problem with regard to labor? Getting paid for *intequity* is a current problem, which *Intequinism* addresses. From my point of view cryptocurrencies are the organic change in society in order to cause payments for *intequity*. Cryptocurrencies are making it possible for others who were not close to the FIAT money generating system to develop ideas. A change therefore happened in the way *intequity* (capital of ideas) gets distributed. ***What will the future of cryptocurrencies be?*** In current times two theories of money are prominent. They are supply and demand theory and quantity theory. The two theories support one another because they give better valuations if used together. Supply and demand theory can easily cause bubbles if it is used without quantity theory. The "madness of crowds and extraordinary delusions", relating to demand of something have caused many bubbles during the past. Actually, thinking about it more now, makes me think the same bubbles can occur with the quantity theory, because according to the quantity theory, a currency's value is determined by dividing the total value of the assets, which can be bought, with the currency, by the number of units of the currency in circulation. If the assets are overvalued the currency value will still contain a bubble. Another currency valuation aspect to consider is, trust in the system. The trust aspect is currently a big problem, because the system is uncertain. Around the 1700s a similar event occurred when anyone could coin money. Eventually the system changed and controlling the system with banking licenses, were enforced. More about the development of money can be read at the following link. It consists of quotes and opinions I made whilst preparing a proposal for studies about *intequity*. http://www.africahead.co.za/Africahead/QuotesAndRamblings_files/ResearchProposalAboutIntequity.html#_Toc275176993 |

| body | The idea Truth often causes irrationality. Why does it happen? Hopefully this post will get many comments, in which many opinions are given about phenomena, relating to the idea Truth. The post-modern paradigm is opposition to the idea Truth in the sense, people in the post-modern paradigm, influencing academics, want to change the correspondence theory of Truth. They often do not want to discuss the idea Truth, ontologically, because truth has a cosmological meaning to them. Cosmology is basically metaphoric explanations about infinity and therefore objectivity is not possible in cosmological explanations. Cosmology does not use definitions to agree with, objectively. In classic Greece they were much more open about the idea Truth. Aristotle openly promoted deceit as a functional method, which led to pragmatism and other analytical philosophy. That state of affairs in Greece made it possible to discuss the benefits of deceit and honesty in order to get closer to reality. What is best for society as a whole? What is best for individuals each? Is deceit selfish and too individualistic? Are honest people too individualistic? Are post-modern accusations that they each think they is "God Himself", irrational? I think such accusations are irrational because logically, honesties are good for the whole of society, and often negative for individuals each. Nietzsche rightly wrote the weak singular "God" is dead, therefore the post-modern accusations against honest people can stop. Socrates promoted deceit in Plato's book *The Republic*, but he said only the leaders of society should have the right to use it. It is thus no wonder, currently, deceit is common among leaders of society. My overall view of Plato is however that his books promote the idea Truth. A problem is, what did Socrates promote and what did Plato promote. Often, a clear distinction between the two is not clear, because most of the time reference is made to Plato, whilst actually Socrates is meant. The role hermeneutics had in the recording of Socrates's views is not acknowledged open enough in philosophy currently, in my opinion. A view by Popper that Plato promoted stability, against change exists. Truth causes change because when realities are known, especially with regard to injustice, change is required. This is where the "anomaly of Plato" is relevant. Is there an anomaly in Plato's books? If there is, is it because a clear distinction is not made between Plato's and Socrates's opinions. Did Plato acknowledge, the idea Truth causes change? In *The Laws* Plato wrote, the best political system has only one leader at the top because, one person can quickly make the necessary changes, when the changes are required. Therefore, it seems Plato's view is not really an anomaly because he did consider changes. He did recognize that changes are needed sometimes and that good leaders can make such changes to avert revolutions. His requirement however, for a singular leader, who can make quick changes, implies that he did oppose continuous change. Change was supposed to be hindered until ordered changes are allowed to avert revolutionary changes by way of violence. |

Nietzsche rightly wrote the weak singular \"God\" is dead, therefore the post-modern accusations against honest people can stop.\n\nSocrates promoted deceit in Plato's book *The Republic*, but he said only the leaders of society should have the right to use it. It is thus no wonder, currently, deceit is common among leaders of society. \n\nMy overall view of Plato is however that his books promote the idea Truth. This is where the \"anomaly of Plato\" is relevant. Change was supposed to be hindered until ordered changes are allowed to avert revolutionary changes by way of violence.",

| body | The idea Truth often causes irrationality.
