The browser blocks Ads and website trackers. The company has adopted a Get paid to surf business model. Basically, a digital Add exchange based on the blockchain. \nThere are stages to this implementation\n1.\tStage 1: Already implemented as part of the core purpose and underlying tech within the browser. It  blocks Ads and trackers by stripping them from their native websites as well as incorporating a ledger system for rewarding user attention (viewing pages, reading Ads, & general web-browsing) through brave rewards. (Rewards will be further explained in the article). The idea is to eliminate untrusted 3rd parties that take a large chunk of the system’s resources.\n2.\tStage 2: Developing a decentralized add exchange that involves a digital currency referred to as BAT (Basic Attention Token). Major critic revolves around brave’s savvy business practices i.e. The fact that brave relies on a business model that is very heavily reliant on blocking, removing and stripping all advertisements issued on any website and replacing those Ads with its own Ads selection. These Ads are received in form of notifications. This way the user is more likely to engage the Ads because there is an incentive to access them. Think of it as a Netflix for Ads, but in this case,  you are paid for what you watch.\nThis is one example of a brave Ad notification that popped up as I was writing this.       "body": "One guaranteed thing that will happen in the far future is the fact humans will start having days longer than 24 hours.\nNow this may or may not be related to tectonic plates or some shift in the space-time continuum hence lengthening the day's hours.  NO! or maybe, but not in the simple argument below;\n\nFast modes of transportation.\n\nOne thing we're sure of is that transportation advances with increase in it's intended or pre-disposed purpose, \"Transporting efficiently, effectively and comfortably.\nThis directly corresponds to what we shall say is a less lengthened exponential grow as opposed to computers with moore's law and transistors... u know how it goes. So anyways, this is the same for transport but the tail of that exponential growth curve is stretched out just a tiny bit.\n\nBOOM! transportation speed increase.\n\nThis growth in transportation speed (literal speed of the vehicles) will allow people to cross timezones whenever they wish.\ne.g. A person in china can quit their work day at five and then travel to africa to salvage about 2 more hours and run their  business there as well or to visit some orphanage... Uknow the drift.\n\nYeah so in the future people will have longer days and this will have some major economic implications. Hence the way time shall be perceived and defined in the far or near future (\" NEW WORLD\" ) .\n\nMoney is already changing so i guess it's traveling at the speed of time.\nComputer clocks will have to incorporate quantum characteristics and of course this will work well with the changing financial norms.\n\nThanks guys.\nFeel free to leave a comment on how you feel about this topic.",
