Cada vez que Juan toma un paso, se encuentra con una bifurcación en donde debe escoger que camino tomar. Juan puede tomar una infinidad de caminos, pero solo llegará a su cabaña si logra elegír una combinación correcta de caminos. Es así como los computadores trabajan - utilizan algoritmos para adivinar distintas soluciones, y distintos caminos para llegar a las mismas conclusiones.\n\nAsí, un algoritmo para encontrar el mejor camino a través del bosque puede tomarle a Juan bastante tiempo, solo basta con imaginarse todas las combinaciones posibles de caminos que puede tomar: Puede tomar todos los caminos izquierdos, y si no llega, volver y tomar todos los caminos derechos, y si eso aún no funciona, volver y tomar dos caminos izquierdos y uno derecho, y así sucesivamente. Como pueden imaginar, este es un proceso que puede tomar bastante tiempo, y que va a depender de la cantidad de bifurcaciones en el camino. \n\nEn el blockchain, los mineros están constantemente utilizando computadores para tratar de adivinar distintos caminos cada vez que se ven enfrentados a un proceso de verificación. Sin embargo, estos caminos son cada vez mas difíciles a medida que el tiempo avanza, razón por la cual se necesitan cada vez mas computadores conectados en el blockchain para resolverlos. En este sistema, esto es algo natural y bueno, ya que incrementa la seguridad del blockchain previniendo que una sola persona o grupo de personas se adjudiquen demasiado poder. \n\nHoy en dia, este método funciona bien y cumple su propósito, ¿Pero que sucediese si nuestro amigo Juan tuviese un helicoptero para llegar de vuelta a su cabaña?\n\nEste \"helicoptero\" es efectivamente la computación cuántica - Le permitiría a nuestro amigo Juan ver todos los caminos posibles de vuelta a su cabaña, porque ahora vería el área alrededor de el desde otro plano. Envés de tener que probar cada camino individual e independientemente, desde el aire sería capaz de ver su cabaña en un tiempo muchísimo menor y ser capaz de trazar un camino correcto en un solo intento. \n\nViendo todo esto de manera más técnica, los computadores de hoy en día están limitados por el hardware que utilizan. Están basados en circuitos eléctricos que pueden estar en uno de dos estados, encendido (uno) o apagado (cero). Los computadores cuánticos vienen a cambiar esto al utlizar partículas llamadas **qbits**, suspendidas en un ambiente muy frio (cerca del cero absoluto), en donde se dan las condiciones para que formen una red de procesamiento que puede crecer de manera exponencial, permitiendo que dichos qbits puedan ser ceros y unos simultáneamente.       "body": "https://steemitimages.com/DQmZPKEnAqhEAL7DijdAp372u623KQnHHPnUqormCN9xoL4/altcoin-pump-and-dump.jpg\n\nCada cierta cantidad de días, vemos como grupos que van desde algunos cientos de personas hasta los cientos de miles se unen y coordinan para inflar las denominadas Altcoins, para luego venderlas en masa cuando estas ya han alcanzado un precio lo suficientemente alto.  \n\nEste es tan solo un ejemplo de los diferentes tipos de estafas en el salvaje mundo de las criptodivisas, esquemas cuidadosamente planificados en los denominados \"Pump Groups\", principalmente a través del popular chat de Telegram.\n\n**¿Cómo lo hacen?**\n\nLos organizadores de estos grupos, parten por investigar el mercado de las criptodivisas y elegir alguna que aún todavia no ha logrado popularizarse y con una baja capitalización bursátil, para que así el impacto de unos cuantos cientos de compradores sea suficiente como para generar un impacto significativo en el precio. Luego de esto, los organizadores comienzan a compartir información positiva que en la mayoría de los casos no tiene ningún fundamento sustantivo detrás. Usualmente resaltan un punto muy concreto en el tiempo en el que los participantes del grupo deberían comenzar a comprar la moneda. A medida que esto sucede, el precio sube, aumentando así la credibilidad de los organizadores. En general existen varias fases en este proceso de inflación. Hacia el final de este esquema los organizadores venden la criptomoneda obteniendo así sustanciales ganancias. Luego, el precio vuelve a bajar para así volver a su valor inicial (o incluso mas bajo), derrumbando así la credibilidad del proyecto en cuestión. Grupos de renombre que planean este tipo de esquemas son Crypto Calls y Spanish Pumps, entre varios otros.\n\n**Consecuencias**\n\nDurante la ejecución de un esquema de este tipo, varios inversionistas de menor tamaño se ven estafados, ya que normalmente son los que sufren cuando los organizadores obtienen grandes ganancias. Sumado a esto, la comunidad detrás de la criptomoneda afectada puede perder confianza en esta, trayendo así consecuencias negativas al largo plazo.\n\nOtra consecuencia que cabe destacar, es como este tipo de esquemas pueden desincentivar que las empresas comiencen a adoptar la tecnología del blockchain en sus procesos y para el lanzamiento de tokens. Si esto sigue sin ser controlado, puede finalmente ocasionar un miedo generalizado que haga que empresas decidan derechamente por no entrar en esta tecnología.\n\n**Momento de comenzar a regular**\n\nEs bien sabido en estos tiempos que si este mismo tipo de esquemas se tratase de aplicar en el mercado bursátil de las acciones, las autoridades (en la mayoría de los países desarrollados) no tardaría mucho en tomar las acciones pertinentes para llevar a la justicia a aquellos responsables. ¿Porqué esta misma medida no se comienza a aplicar en la esfera de las criptodivisas?\n\nEl actual panorama mundial en cuanto a esta materia, y las diferencias de opiniones y bandos, han provocado que el proceso de adopción de esta tecnología sea mas lento que de lo esperado, especialmente en países latinoamericanos. Por otro lado, hemos visto como los bancos han optado por cerrarle las puertas a aquellas empresas que operan con criptodivisas, siendo el ejemplo mas visto aquel de las casas de intercambio (o exchanges, como comúnmente se conocen en inglés).\n\nEste tipo de empresas están ahora siendo fuertemente cuestionadas gracias a este tipo de esquemas, ya que se cree que hay algunas que colaboran en su ejecución, mientras que hay otras que no logran controlar a sus usuarios cuando detectan anomalías en los patrones de compra cuando este esquema está siendo ejecutado, ya que son casi impredecibles y suceden de manera muy rápida. \n\n¿Es momento de comenzar a regular? ¿Estaremos presenciando el comienzo del fin de las criptomonedas o han llegado para quedarse?
