      "body": "It was my birthday but this was more than just another family trip!\n\nSeven years ago, I traveled to the Kho Phi Phi Islands as a backpacker. Now I have an entirely different perspective on life coming back here this time with my family and my girlfriend. \n\nThe water is a crystal clear turquoise color with beautiful reefs and tropical fish. They watch some other random kids unboxing toys and playing. I looked into one of these YouTube channels.\n\nIt turns out that the biggest one, Ryan Toys Reviews, has 13 Mil subscribers! Ryan's channel is the second biggest YT channel in the United States! (After one wrestling channel - what's wrong with you America?)\n\nThe former head of Nickelodeon (from when they started Spongebob) contacted Ryans parents and signed a deal with them.\n\nNickelodeon is moving to social media now. They are creating pocket watch - a new way of delivering content to the digital generation. \n\nRyan is four years old, and he made a lot of money. So did his parents. Other parents followed the idea and started uploading even more \"creative\" footage of their kids on YT.\n\nParents tried so hard that the content started being disturbing. In reality, the probability of making your business profitable is higher if you only copy paste what worked for someone else & do it well. \n\nBranding instead of sales\n\"First I need a logo and amazing website\" is the second biggest mistake. No, you don't need any of these. In fact, you need sales and revenue. Anything else is helpful but not necessary & secondary. Your business will not survive without sales but it will, without a logo.\n\nRunning 5 companies at the same time instead of focusing on a one thing\nYou can work 3 yards carrying five items, or 100 yards moving one. If you split your focus, you will not get excellent results in either of these.\n\nNot getting a mentor that is just slightly ahead than them\nMany folks think that they need a millionaire mentor. It was a great sunny day where I just woke up and wanted to get some coffee.\n\nSo I went into this coffee shop and I saw this weird sign on the wall. I was still somewhat of a zombie (since I had not had my coffee yet), so it took my brain a while to realize what my eyes were reading.\n\nThe sign said, \"No Digital Nomads Allowed\" and below that there was a red circle around a laptop with a line though it.\n\nWTF…No digital nomads allowed? \n\nLater I understood that it actually made sense. There are so many people working remotely in Bali and you will most likely meet quite a few of them every day. Of course, these guys take up space in cafes all day while maybe only ordering a couple drinks and potentially costing businesses other potential customers. \n\nIt's similar in cities like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, or Saigon but why? I am against enforcing intelligent people to attend high school classes without the ability to chose what they want to learn etc...\n\nHowever, I have nothing against math, chemistry, and biology (my most hated subjects from high school). In fact, I think all those subjects are fascinating and intriguing. The education system did a great job to present them as boring and inapplicable in real life. \n\nLuckily, I am working hard to fix this emotional trauma not to be biased about the importance of real education. \n\nRecently I fell in love with math because even though they lied to me at school, it can seriously change your life and business. \n\nHowever, it turns out that you don't have to learn quantitative methods, nor statistics. All you need is multiplying.
