| body | Soy la clase de persona que se lleva mejor con los animales que con la gente por eso hoy les quiero presentar a mis amigos de la calle.  El es Faifu un perro de la universidad que me acompaña siempre en la entrada a primera hora antes de comenzar clases, nos hicimos amigos cuando le di de comer unas sobras que me habían quedado de la comida del comedor y desde entonces siempre que me ve, me sigue hacia donde voy.  El es Poe un gato negro de mi edificio es muy cariñoso, lo cuidamos entre todos los vecinos por que se encarga de mantener lejo a las alimañas como los ratones. Este post lo escribo con la intención de crear conciencia en las personas que maltratan a estos animales al verlos hurgado la basura o por estar simplemente en lugares donde dan un mal aspecto, solo recuerden que ellos no tienen un hogar solo están sobreviviendo en un ambiente urbano. A estos animales hay que darle un trato digno y respetuoso porque forman una pequeña parte de cada comunidad. |

| body | **Las dimensiones** son nuestro concepto básico de medición, como la longitud, tiempo, masa, temperatura, entre otras.; **Las unidades** son la forma de expresar las dimensiones como por ejemplo: pies o centímetros para la longitud, u horas o segundo para él tiempo (Himmelblau, 1997). Las reglas para manejar las unidades son relativamente sencillas. Todo estudiante de primer año tiene que saber que **no se puede sumar peras con manzanas**, sino manzanas con manzanas y peras con peras. Entonces solo es posible sumar, restar o igualar cantidades si las unidades de dicha cantidad son las mismas. <center></center> Ejemplos que **no** se deben hacer.  5 litros + 6 kilogramos No se puede efectuar porque tanto las unidades como las dimensiones son distintas.  5 litros + 6 m^3 En realidad sí se puede efectuar esta operación porque en este caso las dimensiones (volumen) son iguales **pero sólo y sólo cuando se hayan transformado las unidades** de uno de los dos términos dejando la expresión en una suma simple de litros o metros cúbicos. <center>(1000 L/ 1 m^3) x 6 m^3=6000 L ; 6000 L + 5 L=6005 L </center> <center>ó (1 m^3/1000 L) x 5L= 0,005 m^3 ; 0,005+6m^3=6,005 m^3</center> Ahora bien podemos multiplicar y dividir unidades distintas a voluntad como por ejemplo: <center>10 m^2/500 cm ; (Área/Longitud)</center> Que puede transformarse en <center>10 m^2/5 m ; (metros cuadrados/metros)</center> Y luego a <center>2 m ; (metros)</center> Cancelando las unidades, pero **no podemos cancelar ni combinar unidades sino son idénticas.** A continuación les dejo un link con algunos factores de conversión que yo utilizo del libro de *termodinámica* **Cengel Yunus y Michel A. En cambio, entró en la atmósfera de Marte aproximadamente 100 kilómetros (62millas) por debajo de lo que se había planeado y lo destruyó el calor. Los controladores de la misión argumentaron que la pérdida de la nave se debió a un error en la conversión de la unidad inglesas de medición a la unidad métricas en los programas de navegación. Por otra parte, los científicos del laboratorio de propulsión de aeronave de la NASA supusieron que los valores de la fuerza estaban expresado en unidades métricas, como son los Newtons. Por lo común, las libras son unidades de masa. Sin embargo, cuando se expresa como unidad de fuerza, 1 lb es la fuerza debida a la tracción por la gravedad sobre un objeto que tenga esa masa. Para hacer la conversión entre libras y Newtons, se inicia con 1lb= 0,4536 kg y, a partir de la segunda ley del movimiento de Newton, <center>Fuerza = masa x aceleración</center> <center>Fuerza = 0,4536 kg x 9.81m/s^2</center> <center>Fuerza = 4,45 kg m/ s^2 </center> <center>Fuerza = 4,45N</center> Debido a que Newton (N)=1kg m/s^2. Las reglas para manejar las unidades son relativamente sencillas. Todo estudiante de primer año tiene que saber que **no se puede sumar peras con manzanas**, sino manzanas con manzanas y peras con peras. En cambio, entró en la atmósfera de Marte aproximadamente 100 kilómetros (62millas) por debajo de lo que se había planeado y lo destruyó el calor. Los controladores de la misión argumentaron que la pérdida de la nave se debió a un error en la conversión de la unidad inglesas de medición a la unidad métricas en los programas de navegación. Por otra parte, los científicos del laboratorio de propulsión de aeronave de la NASA supusieron que los valores de la fuerza estaban expresado en unidades métricas, como son los Newtons. Por lo común, las libras son unidades de masa. Sin embargo, cuando se expresa como unidad de fuerza, 1 lb es la fuerza debida a la tracción por la gravedad sobre un objeto que tenga esa masa. Para hacer la conversión entre libras y Newtons, se inicia con 1lb= 0,4536 kg y, a partir de la segunda ley del movimiento de Newton, <center>Fuerza = masa x aceleración</center> <center>Fuerza = 0,4536 kg x 9.81m/s^2</center> <center>Fuerza = 4,45 kg m/ s^2 </center> <center>Fuerza = 4,45N</center> Debido a que Newton (N)=1kg m/s^2. Como consecuencia, en lugar de convertir una libra fuerza como 4,45 N, los científicos la consideraron como 1 N la fuerza del satélite, expresada en Newtons, resulta bastante menor, lo que tuvo como consecuencia una menor órbita y finalmente la destrucción de la nave espacial.
