      "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\n\n<p>\nA Different Tuesday\n\nBeautiful evening to you all\nHow are you doing? It’s Tuesday.\nToday was a bit different from my normal days. It was hectic, but also fun.\nMy day started with a knock on my door my sister came to wake me up.  \nI slept late yesterday, so I wanted to rest a bit longer. She said, “Mommy said you should drop 10 bags of sachet water in her car,” and then she left.\n\nMy mom is a teacher, but she also runs small businesses on the side. One of them is selling ice blocks made from sachet water.  \nHere’s how it work she buys sachet water in bulk and stores it outside. Then she moves it in batches to the freezer to freeze. Once it’s blocked, she sells it to people who run small cold-drink businesses.  \nThey use the ice blocks to chill their drinks before selling them.\nIt’s in high demand, and it’s an easy business for her. She doesn’t need much energy for it, and there’s hardly any loss. So instead of stressing, she prefers this.  \n\nAll I had to do this morning was take the frozen bags from the freezer and load them into her car.  \nOn her way to school, she drops them off for her customers, then heads to work. I normally do that every morning before eating taking water on an empty stomach.  \nAfter that, I spent some time on my phone before having breakfast.  \nI ate my meal, then rested for a while.\n\nOur compound is under repair right now, so there’s a lot of grass everywhere. She usually took me to the farm to help her, so I learned how to weed and cultivate.  \nI spent over 3 hours clearing the grass.\n\nAfter I was done, I went in to bathe. I was really dirty, so I took my time.  \nOnce I was clean, I slept for hours.\n\nIn the evening, my mom and sister were back.  \nWe caught up, talking about life and family. She’ll tease me and say, “You don’t pity me”  \nI just win her every time, no mercy 😂  \nToday wasn’t different.\n\nWe played 16 rounds.  \nI won 11 times and she won 5, so it ended 11–5.  \nShe was complaining, but it’s just a game. We were happy we had that beautiful family moment together.\nAfter that, I had dinner and headed to bed.  \nWhat a wonderful time to spend with family.\n\nI hope you spend time with your family too.  \nIf you don’t, please start family is very important.       "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\n<p>\nHello guys,  \nHappy Sunday How are you all doing?  \nI hope you had the best Sunday ever, because I definitely did.\nMy day started with my dogs barking in the compound like they’d seen a ghost. I checked the time and it was already 7 AM, and I was supposed to be in church by 8 AM.  \nBy the way, I’m Catholic yeah, you’re surprised, lol. You shouldn’t be. I’m a born Catholic, and we usually go to Mass very early. Most times it’s 5 AM or 6 AM Mass, but today it was 8 AM, so we actually had time to sleep in. He’s a foodie who wants to eat everything in sight, but he always looks starved, as if he hasn’t eaten since World War II. He literally eats everything, and at some point, he even steals food. He’s always energetic when it comes to dragging for food, but when it’s time for duty, he doesn’t even react to intruders.  \n\nHe just sits there with his eyes wide open while Hatchy does the dirty work, like a cartel boss in Colombia. Sometimes I get angry about it, but there’s nothing I can do.\nHatchy doesn’t eat much, but alert, and active. Remember I have Luna, my cat in Jos? Well, I got Hatchy and George here too.  \nYou should try getting a pet they’re like family. They’re great companions, though you do have to provide for them. But it’s a good sense of responsibility, you know?  \nLike I said before, if you can care for animals, you can care for humans too.  \nSo you should consider getting one. Maybe a cat, a dog, or even a parrot anything works.\n</p>\n\n\n<p>\nAfter waking up, I prayed and quickly went to the bathroom to brush and get ready for church. I bathed, and by around 8 AM I was done and ready to go.  \nThen I waited for my mom and sister. Women always take time getting ready for an event, so I had to wait a while before they were ready.       "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\n<p>\nHello guys,\nIt’s a beautiful Saturday. First of all, happy weekend I hope you had fun, because this guy here definitely did. Gosh, my day was beautiful and blessed I had so many beautiful moments.  \nOkay, my day began with early morning chores. As the eldest child in the house, I do the difficult chores, so it all started with an early wake-up from my mom. I was deep asleep when I heard a loud knock on my door.  \nGuess what? It was my mom, and it was already 9 AM. I quickly woke up, opened the door, and greeted her.  \nShe was smiling, knowing full well she’d distracted my sleep 😂  \nShe said, “Go and wash the car. We’re going out.”  \n\nI wasn’t in the mood to touch water that morning, but I had to. I quickly grabbed a bucket and towel, collected the car keys from her, and went straight to the car park to start washing the car.  \nYou see, washing cars is actually one of my favorite chores. It’s manly and satisfying. I was really happy seeing it like, I was super proud of my sister. Don’t they get tired? It’s 9 AM, and a pot of jollof rice and plantain is already ready. Wow. I appreciate all the women who keep the house running you all are amazing.  \nSo I was served, and I quickly started eating. It was delicious. Everybody in our house cooks really well, so there’s no room for a bad meal any day, any time.\nAfter eating, I went in to bathe and dress up since we were going out. After a while, I was ready, but Mom and my baby sister weren’t ready yet, so I had to wait.  \nYou know how slow women can be when getting ready for an event? It was a wedding ceremony, so they needed to look good as if they were the ones getting married 😂  \nMy mom always complains about my sister being slow, but meanwhile, Mom was the slowest 😂. But see me, I can’t complain. I just waited patiently with a tight face.  \n\nAfter a while, they were done, and we all got into the car and drove off to the church for the white wedding.  \nWhen we got there, they’d already started. We were late the priest was already preaching. But we still went in and sat somewhere.  \nMy mom is in the choir, so she left us and went to the other side of the church where the choir sits. So it was just me and my sister. We stayed and witnessed how beautiful love can be.  \n\nI was literally feeling the atmosphere when the couple started exchanging rings and making their declarations:  \n“I… accept… to be my lovely wedded wife.”  \n\nIt was beautiful hearing those words. After a while, they were done, and we headed off to the reception venue. That was where the real deal was plenty of food and people 😂.  \nIt all started with the bride and groom coming in and the MC shouting, “Make way for the latest couple in Abuja” We all stood up with our hands busy clapping.\nThey entered, and the occasion began.  \nI was enjoying everything that was happening I won’t lie. Honestly, love is a beautiful thing. At that moment, I even wished I was married, but 😂 I need money first.  \nAfter a while, food was served, but I don’t eat out, so I didn’t collect any. We enjoyed the moment and wished the newly married couple a happy married life and God’s blessings.  \nIt was filled with joy and happiness, although some people were arguing at the back because of food 😂. Nigerian occasions are always like that 60% of the people present are just there to eat food and criticize your food and wedding. “Bad belle people” 😂.  \nYou see, Nigerian weddings and occasions are always like this. You’ll see mature people leave their homes just to come and drag for food at the occasion with zero shame 😂.  \nBut don’t mind them you’ll always have them around, so just don’t care.  \n\nAfter the wedding, we headed home. But Mom said it was late, so we should get roasted fish for dinner. I told her we could eat something else and save the fish for tomorrow, since it was Sunday. For me, they’re always hectic. You have to deal with cleaning, washing, and cooking. Sometimes I hate weekends, especially if I’m home I just end up working and working lol. I actually prefer being in school. There, I can just lazy around and do my things at my own pace.  \nSo today was hectic for me, especially since I just came back to Abuja yesterday and my room was very dirty. I needed to clean it up.  \nMy day started with warm tea and toasted bread for breakfast.  \nI love toasted bread, but it’s time consuming, so I usually just eat my bread as it is. But today, my sister made everything for me, so it was much easier. I didn’t have to prepare anything I just sat down and enjoyed my meal 😂  \nAs the first and eldest child in the house, sometimes I get the “big guy” treatment. So yeah, I had my breakfast in peace.\n</p>\n\n<p>\nSo after my breakfast, I started cleaning.  \nRemember, I told you guys I just came in from Jos, Plateau State yesterday. My room had been locked for over 2 years, so you can imagine how dirty it was.  \nI couldn’t even step foot in the room at first because of how dirty it was, so I had to take my time and clean the whole place properly.  \nI started by removing the dirty stuff clothes, books, bags out of the room. Before I could start sweeping, the whole room was dusty and dirty. I had to sweep very, very well, so I did it calmly and carefully to make sure I didn’t leave any dirt behind. I swept from the room all the way to the parlor.  \nIt was tiring , you know, but it had to be done. I started from my room and worked my way to the parlor. I hate mopping, but I just had to do it. If I didn’t, who else would? One thing I cherish a lot is having my personal space clean. I hate seeing dirt around me. In fact, my friends knew me for that back in university.  \nI’d always complain whenever they messed up my bed or my room. They even gave me a nickname (Mr. Neat Room) I was always called that lol, but I don’t care. Just don’t scatter my space.  \nI don’t understand how people can stay in a dirty environment. Not me I can’t. It makes me feel sick.  \nAfter a while, I was finally able to clean the whole bathroom until it was shining like it was built today. They’d been sitting there for months with no one to clean them up.  \nThank God, today they finally touched water and detergent 😂  \nIt was a refreshing moment, yeah.  \nAfter washing the chairs and table, I went on to mop the dining area and all the way down to the parlor. I mopped everywhere until it was all shiny. I wasn’t really playing having dinner wasn’t an option since I was still full. So I just had fruit salad with my sister. After that, we talked about school life and gossiped about my mom 😂.\nYou know, I find it really exciting talking about my mom and how she reacts to things in such a funny way.  \nI think we all do it trying to talk like our parents and copy what they do. My mom reacts to things in a really funny way, and it gets me laughing every time, even when she’s complaining about me.  \nDon’t get it twisted, I really do love my mom.\nSo is night already, and I'm to sleep again.  \nI drank enough water and headed to my room to sleep.  \nThank you guys for staying here with me I really appreciate it.  \nSee you guys tomorrow. I traveled from Jos, Plateau State, to Abuja, Nigeria, and it was a long ride.  \nLike I told you yesterday, I’m traveling to my family house in Abuja for a few weeks off work, just to rest and bond with my family. It’s been 2 years since I last saw them, so I needed to go home, see everyone, and eat homemade meals to regain my energy and relax. Like they say, there’s no place like home.  \nIt was exciting traveling home, although I don’t like road trips. I’m allergic to motion sickness, so I usually fall sick while traveling by road. That’s why I hate traveling and barely do it.  \nThe last time I went home was in 2024. I was still a student the last time I traveled to Abuja. My parents keep asking me to come home, but I love my private space where I can do my stuff alone, uninterrupted and freely.  \nI get to decide what I eat, where I go, and when I sleep. It’s beautiful living alone as a young adult you just want to do your own thing and have all the freedom you can get. She’s been my roommate and playmate, and I’m already used to her. I know she’ll miss me, and I’ll miss her too, but I need to travel, and it’s too far to take her along.  \nSo that early morning, I headed off to a place called Bida. It’s an area in Jos North, Plateau State, not too far from my place ,just a 200 naira ride. Luna kept trying to get out of the box I put her in. I got on a motorcycle to the Plateau Riders park. It wasn’t far, but it was expensive I can’t believe I paid 700 naira to get to Plateau Riders. I really felt cheated, but I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to think about it.  \nAs soon as I got dropped off, a wheelbarrow pusher came over and started dragging my bag. I was like, “Be careful, don’t spoil my bag”  \nHe replied calmly, “Sorry, sir.” Then he asked, “Inside the park, right?”  \nI said, “Yes,” a bit angrily, as if he was the one who charged me 700 naira 🤣. That was just me transferring aggression, but he didn’t react.  \nI asked him how much, and he said 200 naira. I was like, “Nooo, I’ll give you 100 naira.” He just shook his head and said, “Okay.”  \nThe guy really just wanted to work lol. He took my bag to the park while I followed him like a boss on vacation 🤣.  \nHe dropped my bag, and I squeezed the 100 naira into his palm. On reaching the table, I was told Abuja was 15,000 naira.  \nI had only budgeted 10,000 naira because that’s what I was told it would be. This country is getting bad daily. I had no choice but to pay, with my face all squeezed up.  \nI couldn’t even bargain it was the official price, so I just had to pay.  \nHonestly, I felt really bad because it shortened my balance. I even called my girlfriend to tell her how expensive it was. She said she paid 9,000 naira when she went. Why did they hike the price by almost 60%? I was just angry, but she calmed me down.  \nI was just there waiting for them to load the bus. In less than 30 minutes, we were set to go. I entered the car, and the driver tuned to Jay FM Jos radio station. I didn’t even want to listen to it I was so angry. But who cares 😂? The FM was too loud and disturbing my ears.  \nWe said a few words of prayer, and boom, we were off.  \nI wasn’t feeling great because of motion sickness, but it wasn’t that bad. I decided to sleep a little. It turned into a long sleep, though it wasn’t stable due to the bad road and unnecessary noise. I needed some energy, so I bought a cold Sprite.  \nIt was very cold and refreshing. I got a little energy, though I was still very hungry.  \nI crossed the road to get a motorcycle home.  \nI met a nice old man who took me to my junction, and his price was fair, so I didn’t bother bargaining. I was just too tired.  \nI got dropped at my junction and entered another motorcycle to go home. It was just me at first, so I had to wait a little longer for other passengers. We greeted each other though, and he even offered to help me with my bag. I calmly refused and carried it in myself.  \nAnd guess what? My family was inside cooking.  \nMy mom was so happy to see me. She hugged me and started dancing, calling my name lol. “Her lost son is finally back”  \nImmediately after, it started raining. I felt so happy it had been a while since I’d seen rain too.
