      "body": "As I live close to the ocean, I have instant access to a lot of beautiful islands on the atlantic coast. A friend of mine has a holiday mansion on one of them and we have the habit to meet there a couple of times a year to spend good time together and celebrate.\n\nAs May 1st is a day-off in France (National Labor Day), I drove my way to Oleron Island. I’d love to travel more often, but my budget just won’t allow it, haha. That’s why, for every birthday, my daughter and I decide to visit a different place. This time, we went to Cayo Pescadores, even though our original plan was to go to Cayo Mero—but things came up, and we had to change our plans.\n\nTo be honest, I don't regret it. Cayo Pescadores is a paradise. When we arrived at the port of Chichiriviche to take the boat, I had assumed the trip would be shorter—it takes about 25 to 30 minutes.       "body": "When we leave Leh city and move towards Pangong Tso, every tourist who visits here is welcomed by endless mountain ranges. The specialty of the mountains of Ladakh is that many places are different from the lush green hills of the mountains. If I talk about the Ladakh region, then this area is a mountainous desert. It can be said that these mountains are mostly dry and rocky. If you look at the photographs above, you will see that these mountains are painted in the colors of brown, gold, gray and white. As can be seen in the photographs above, under the bright blue sky, the mountains look magnificent. Due to the sunlight, the colors of the hills change throughout the day. Sorry, not sorry!). The reason for my hiatus was stupid, really. A few months ago I spilled a drink on my laptop and fried it. I had to buy a new one, then had to figure out all my passwords to log back in here (and everywhere else), then there was an issue with the new laptop and I had to send it back to be repaired (not easy when you don't have a permanent address). As you can see by the “thin tall trees”, a forest fire ripped through here in the past. 2017 to be exact. There is still a long way to go until the forest is restored. Forest fires are a part of nature, and are really difficult to prevent or contain, if not impossible. Anyways, there is still a certain eerie beauty to the forest as it is.       "body": "Sometimes nature places a true crown upon the sun.\n\nA couple of years ago, in summer, while shooting a sunset, I managed to capture a rare optical and simultaneously magical effect. A bright sun disk was burning in the sky, a perfect glowing ring was shining around it, and rays diverged from it with geometric precision.       "body": "The weekend was, to put it mildly, \"very family-oriented,\" as my younger sister, her husband, and their three daughters came to spend the weekend here in town and I know they stayed overnight at my mother's house. So the afternoons and evenings of Saturday and Sunday were filled with long chats in the old hallway where about twelve of us gathered, including my mother, my sisters, my brothers-in-law, my nieces, my daughter, my wife, and me... And today, Monday, they were all still here at my mother's house, and breakfast was a real mess where everyone seemed to be talking at the same time without paying attention to each other 🤣 So, instead of staying to participate in what I call \"chaotic euphoria of family dialogue\" 🤣, I decided to just have a coffee, a piece of toast, and go for a walk in the countryside in search of some spiritual peace and quiet, because I really do love my family, but after having them talk nonstop for 48 hours while they cook and eat as if the world were going to end soon; The truth is, I end up needing some silence and time for myself... It probably helps that Brad and I (but mostly Brad) have been giving the whole house a refresh, with an interior paint job and a heap of decluttering.\n\nOne of the things I decided to do was start collecting flowers from our garden and putting them in a vase on the kitchen bench. I have always loved flowers and always wanted more in our home. But I guess there have been a lot things things that have felt indulgent, frivolous or perhaps too luxurious for me to justify doing.\n\nBuying flowers certainly has been one of those.\n\nBut at some point I realised that, especially this time of year, we actually have enough flowering plants and trees in our yard that I can just collect a handful every few days and pop them in a vase.\n\nI'm no florist; my flower arrangements are not sophisticated. They're intentionally placed, but often don't look much better than if someone were to just plonk then in there.\n\nBut at least there's more colour and intentional beauty in our house now. And that, that makes me happy.\n\n(The photo in this post was taken by Brad this morning. You can tell when someone is being themselves and when they are performing for an algorithm.\n\nWhat annoyed me the most is when many people who intend to become lazy don't want to take the long road of posting something quality not because they can'they just feel I just have to post and they will earn money why learn a skill when u can just film something and earn money from it immediately? It's almost like monetization created a shortcut to success and nobody wants to take the long road anymore.\n\nI'm not saying monetization isn't a good thing. Monetization has opened the road for people to get their creativity wild to earn engagement and customers online and push them to become better while for others, it becomes a trap that encourages shortcuts and fake personalities.",
