      "body": "Los colores impactan en las personas de formas distintas, evocando diferentes emociones\n-\n\nEl blanco se asocia a la luz, la bondad, la inocencia, la pureza. Se le considera el color de la perfección. El blanco significa seguridad, pureza y limpieza. \n\n![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYFMYnSXTcnkVqn1mnNtbiHnieYVQjW5MCE8vYcAdr9Wz/image.png)\n\nEl color blanco representa el lado opuesto de todo lo que asociamos al negro, y las personas que usan el blanco transmiten una imagen de bondad, pureza e inocencia, ya que este color simboliza paz, humildad y amor.\n\nEl blanco es en general un color al que concedemos poca relevancia ya que, en las preferencias de la mayoría de las personas, casi nadie lo menciona como su color favorito, ni tampoco como su color más odiado.\n\nAl igual que sucede con el negro, al blanco también le acompaña la duda de si es o no es un color.\n\nEn el arco iris, la luz en un principio incolora, se descompone en siete colores: rojo, naranja, amarillo, verde, azul, añil y violeta; por lo tanto, si hablamos de los colores de la luz, el blanco no es propiamente un color, sino la ausencia del mismo.\n\nSin embargo, cuando hablamos de colores de objetos y cosas materiales, la respuesta es que el blanco sí es un color.\n\nEl blanco es un color femenino y noble pero también es débil, y en este sentido tiene como colores contrarios al negro y al rojo, que son los colores del poder y la fuerza.\n\nBlanco Ceremonial\n-\n\nEl traje de novia blanco con corona y velo no es ninguna tradición antigua sino que es una costumbre que nació en el siglo XIX. Anteriormente las novias se vestían para el día de su boda poniéndose sus mejores prendas, dado que no existía una moda establecida. Durante siglos no hubo ningún color determinado para las novias, ni tampoco un estilo definido, ni siquiera existía la idea del traje de novia.\n\nLa influencia de la Iglesia en las bodas empezó con el Concilio de Trento (1545-1563), cuando se dispuso que todo matrimonio debía celebrarse ante un párroco, aunque todavía siguió sin establecerse ninguna moda en cuanto a la vestimenta. Mientras hubo normas sobre los colores de los trajes, la Iglesia las apoyó, y cualquier lujo era condenado porque se consideraba que usar un vestido solo para un día era pecado.\n\nLa primera mujer (de relevancia) que se casó de acuerdo a la moda actual del blanco, fue la novia más famosa del siglo XIX: la reina Victoria de Inglaterra, que en 1840 contrajo matrimonio con el príncipe Alberto de Sajonia. La reina vestía un traje de satén natural blanco y un detalle que causó sensación: un velo de novia. Aunque la intención de ella con el velo fue apoyar la industria inglesa de los encajes (que luchaba contra su competidora francesa), la interpretación que se le dio fue que se trataba del velo de una monja, de modo que ella se presentaba ante el altar como novia de Cristo.\n\nTambién en 1853, en la boda del emperador Napoleón III, su novia Eugenia escogió un velo blanco y un vestido de terciopelo del mismo color.\n\nComo en aquella época las novias reales tenían una gran influencia en las modas, la nueva preferencia por el traje de novia blanco se fue imponiendo en las ceremonias, y también como espíritu de la época.\n\nEn 1808 Jacquard puso en el mercado la primera máquina de tejer, lo cual abarató mucho los tejidos, y a partir de 1830 comenzaron a aparecer las primeras máquinas de coser. De esta forma el traje de novia blanco se fue extendiendo, y pasó a ser la forma en que muchas mujeres podían realizar su sueño de ser reinas al menos por un día.\n\nHoy día el vestido de novia clásico es de color blanco brillante, bordado o con encajes, de cintura ajustada y largo hasta los pies (o con cola), más un velo.\n\nEl blanco puro simboliza la pureza y virginidad de la novia (de acuerdo con los dictados de la Iglesia), y es por ello que una novia que se case embarazada y vestida de blanco (aunque se case por primera vez), es una imagen contraria a las buenas costumbres, lo mismo que cuando se vuelven a casar las mujeres divorciadas.\n\nAfortunadamente (y es mi opinión), en la actualidad ya son cada vez menos las mujeres que dan importancia al hecho de transmitir que han llegado vírgenes al matrimonio (y también son menos las que llegan en esta condición).\n\n![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUK44heMdkRvoNBNfrkC15w9SF7ZCtbQSX5s88puN1Geu/image.png)\n\n\"Un color es tan fuerte como la impresión que crea\" - Ivan Le Lorraine Albright",
