      "body": "...Ở đời có những cái duyên đặc biệt đến vào những ngày đặc biệt. Đôi khi duyên lành ấy lại là một điều rất đơn giản như vô tình xem được một bộ phim ý nghĩa vào một ngày ý nghĩa. Hôm qua là một ngày như thế và bộ phim tôi có duyên xem được có tên là Nosedive (tạm dịch \"Cắm đầu xuống\").\n\nBộ phim ấy bắt đầu bằng những hình ảnh về một thế giới hoàn hảo, ở đó con người nói với nhau những lời tử tế, hỏi thăm nhau ân cần, quan tâm nhau đến từng chi tiết nhỏ trong cuộc sống,... cho dù là quen hay lạ. Vậy bí mật của thế giới hoàn hảo ấy là gì. Đó là một thiết bị được đeo vào mắt (như kiểu kính áp tròng) để biết ngay họ tên của bất kỳ ai mình gặp, cùng một thông tin cực kỳ quan trọng của người đó: Điểm Xã Hội (từ đây tôi sẽ gọi tắt là điểm).\n\nTrong xã hội tưởng tượng trong phim ấy, cứ mỗi tương tác với nhau, con người dù là người thân, bạn bè hay người lạ đều có thể biết điểm trung bình của người mình đang tương tác là bao nhiêu (chỉ với một cái nhìn), đều có thể chấm điểm lẫn nhau từ 1 đến 5 sao sau khi tương tác. Người có điểm càng cao không những nhận được nhiều ưu tiên trong xã hội mà còn được mọi người xúm xít xung quanh, vì nếu được người điểm cao cho điểm cao thì sẽ giúp \"kéo điểm\" lên. Ngược lại, nếu bị người điểm cao cho điểm thấp thì sẽ bị \"dìm điểm\" xuống.\n\nBan đầu tưởng chừng nhưng một xã hội như thế là một xã hội hoàn hảo, vì ai cũng muốn được điểm cao trong mắt người khác (đúng cả nghĩa đen lẫn nghĩa bóng). Cho nên, ai cũng luôn tươi cười, thân thiện, nói những điều lịch sự, nhã nhặn, làm điều tử tế, luôn tỏ ra yêu thương, trân trọng, biết ơn mọi người,... Nói chung, một xã hội trong mơ.\n\nNHƯNG...\n\nĐến một ngày nhân vật chính nhận ra bên trong vỏ bọc \"sống giá trị\", \"nói đạo đức\", \"yêu thương\", \"biết ơn\",... của hầu hết mọi người trong xã hội đó chỉ hoàn toàn là giả dối. Người ta tỏ ra mình \"sống giá trị\" vì muốn người khác cho mình 5 sao. Người ta \"nói đạo đức\" vì muốn người khác cho mình 5 sao. Người ta \"yêu thương\" vì muốn người khác cho mình 5 sao. Người ta \"biết ơn\" vì muốn người khác cho mình 5 sao. Thậm chí, người ta sẵn sàng chà đạp lên sự thật cũng chỉ để được 5 sao... Rốt cuộc xã hội dần dần phân hóa, những người điểm cao trong xã hội toàn là một bọn đạo đức giả. Còn những người dám sống thật thì toàn bị điểm thấp. Gần như toàn xã hội gắn lên mình chiếc mặt nạ \"đạo đức\" để che giấu bên trong sự tham lam, ngu ngốc, ích kỷ, đố kị, căm ghét,...\n\nThế là nhân vật chính quyết định chọn sống thật, chọn chửi thẳng mặt bọn đạo đức giả điểm cao. Tất nhiên, hậu quả là điểm của cô ta từ 4.2 (khá cao) rơi xuống gần 0 khi bị bọn đạo đức giả hùa nhau \"dìm điểm\". Cô ta mất hết tất cả nhưng tìm lại được chính mình.\n\nKhi xem bộ phim ấy, tôi thấy hình ảnh của bản thân mình trong đó. Trong 10 năm qua, tôi đã dành khoảng một nửa thời gian ban đầu để được \"điểm cao\" trong mắt mọi người. Cố gắng làm hài lòng bọn đạo đức giả \"điểm cao\" vì sợ chúng nó dìm mình. Kết cục của tôi cũng giống như nhân vật trong phim, khi tôi dám sống thẳng và sống thật, những con người \"đạo đức ngời ngời\" ấy lập tức làm mọi cách \"dìm điểm\" của tôi xuống vì tôi dám sống ngược lại cái đạo đức giả tởm lợm của bọn chúng hoặc không thèm nhìn những bộ mặt đạo đức giả đó.\n\nMay mắn cho tôi là xã hội thực tôi đang sống cũng còn nhiều người tỉnh táo (chứ không bị \"đạo đức giả hóa\" như xã hội trong phim). Thành ra thay vì bị \"về gần 0\" như nhân vật trong phim, thì càng sống thật bao nhiêu, cuộc đời tôi càng thay đổi rất nhiều theo chiều hướng tích cực. Tôi ngày một hạnh phúc hơn, thành công hơn, giàu có hơn và nổi tiếng hơn, đồng thời tiếp tục góp phần thay đổi cuộc sống của nhiều người một cách tích cực và sâu sắc hơn. Nhưng hạnh phúc lớn nhất trong cuộc đời chính là \"được làm phiên bản tốt nhất của chính mình\", không cần phải \"tỏ vẻ đạo đức\" hoặc \"giả vờ khiêm tốn\".\n\nTôi từ chối làm bạn với những kẻ \"đạo mạo\" tự cho mình cao cả hơn người và suốt ngày đi phán xét xã hội.\n\nTôi từ chối dìm giá trị người khác xuống để nâng \"giá trị\" của mình lên kiểu sợ người ta không ngửi được cái \"giá trị\" của họ \"bốc mùi\" đến đâu.\n\nTôi từ chối nhịn những kẻ thích lên mặt dạy đời người khác, trong khi bản thân mình loay hoay mãi chẳng đi được đến đâu ngoài chuyện ăn bám danh tiếng hết người này đến người khác.\n\nTôi từ chối sống cuộc đời theo \"khuôn vàng thước ngọc\" của những kẻ đạo đức giả.\n\nTôi từ chối nhìn mặt một số kẻ mà khi gặp tôi chỉ muốn nôn ngay tại chỗ vì tởm lợm bởi cái mùi đạo đức giả.\n\nTôi từ chối giả vờ làm bạn với những người mà tôi chẳng tin được họ là bạn mình.\n\nTôi từ chối sống giả dối, từ chối viết hay nói những điều giả dối, từ chối yêu thương giả dối, từ chối biết ơn giả dối, từ chối trân trọng giả dối, từ chối khiêm tốn giả dối, từ chối tử tế giả dối,...\n\nTóm lại, ai là bạn, là đồng nghiệp, là đối tác với tôi, là học viên của tôi, là khách hàng của tôi,... thỉnh thoảng sẽ hơi khó chịu vì sự thẳng thắn của tôi, nhưng sẽ không bao giờ phải đề phòng sự giả dối. Nếu bạn tương tác với tôi và tôi vẫn tương tác lại với bạn thì điều đó tôi vẫn coi bạn là bạn (ngày cả khi chúng ta đã từng có những sự khác biệt hay có những hiểu lầm). Bạn không cần phải đoán.\n\nTôi cảm ơn những yêu thương, trân trọng, biết ơn,... chân thành mà bạn dành cho tôi (nếu có). Tôi sẽ đối xử với bạn theo cách bạn đối xử với tôi. Mặt tích cực là khi có quá nhiều giả dối thì sự chân thành trở nên quý giá hơn bao giờ hết.\n\nCuộc đời quá ngắn ngủi để lãng phí thời gian vì những điều giả dối. Thôi đành dành chút thời gian rà soát lại friendlist cả trên mạng lẫn ngoài đời để block bớt bọn đạo đức giả để không còn phải lãng phí thời gian quý báu trong tương lai.\n\nTôi hy vọng bọn đạo đức giả nếu đọc được bài này thì làm một việc: \"F**k off!!!\" (đỡ mất thời gian block).",

You've likely seen it thousands and thousands of times, and it's probably one of the most recognizable pieces of currency in the world. You may even have a few in your wallet right now.\n\nBut how often have you really looked it over and wondered what's behind its design and symbols?\n\nWell for one, they weren't chosen by chance. Like that portrait of George Washington. It hasn't always been on the dollar. The very first legal $1 tender was issued by the United States during the Civil War, and it featured a portrait of then-secretary of the treasury, Salmon P. Chase. Washington didn't get that honor until 1869.\n\nNow what about all those other symbols?\n\nThe Front of the Dollar\nLet's start with the front of the dollar bill. It's the side that includes Washington's portrait. It features the Federal Reserve District Seal, the note position letter and number, the serial number, the U.S. Treasury Seal, the note position and plate serial number, and bill series. That's a lot of stuff! Let's break them down.\n\nToday, every $1 bill has a Federal Reserve District Seal. It's a one- or two-digit number that appears in the corner of the bill four different times (this dollar shows a No. 2). The numbers indicate which Federal Reserve Bank actually printed the bill. A No. 2, for example, means it was printed in New York. The District Seal also includes the letters (in this case B) that specify the dollar's issuing Reserve Bank. New York is the Second Federal Reserve District and is designated by the letter B.\n\nThe note position letter and number is a combination of one letter and one number (on this bill it's B3) and simply denotes what position on the plate the bill was printed. The front of the $1 bill also includes its note position and plate serial number (B95). It identifies the actual engraving plate and its position on that plate. They appear on both the front and back of the dollar because different plates are used to print each side.\n\nThe front of the $1 bill also includes its serial number. This combination of 11 numbers and letters appears twice on the front of the note, and every dollar has a different serial number. The first letter of the serial number must match the letter in the Federal Reserve District Seal. If it doesn't, it's most likely counterfeit. This bill's serial number begins with B.\n\nThat last number you see on the front of the $1 bill is the bill series. It's between the portrait of Washington and the signature of the current treasury secretary. It's a year (on this bill it's 2009) but it doesn't actually indicate when the bill was printed. Instead it identifies the year when the design of this particular bill was implemented. New designs are issued when things change, like when a new secretary of the treasury takes office.\n\nFinally, the U.S. Treasury Seal is depicted on the front of the $1 bill. The seal has remained relatively unchanged since 1789, and has arms depicting balance scales, a key and a chevron with 13 stars. The original seal, which was similar to the current design approved in 1968, was designed by Francis Hopkinson, a delegate to the Continental Congress.\n\nThe Reverse of the Dollar\nThe symbols on the flip side of the dollar hold a lot of meaning. They include both sides of The Great Seal of the U.S., as well as the bill's plate serial number.\n\nLet's start there: The plate serial number (56) again simply identifies the actual engraving plate this side of the note was printed on. Remember, the front and back of the bill are printed using different plates, hence they have different plate serial numbers.\n\nNow onto the Great Seal. The seal dates back to the country's Founding Fathers. Before they adjourned the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, they formed a committee — it included John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin — to design a seal that would be symbolic of the new country's ideals. It wasn't until five years later, though, that the final design was approved by Congress. The seal's design is credited to Charles Thomson, who was a leading merchant in Philadelphia and secretary of the Continental Congress at the time.\n\nThomson's design includes lots of symbolism he and the Founding Fathers intended. I knew it to be wrong… obviously a sword is mightier, and even on the metaphorical level, the world seemed changed more often through violence than literature.\n\nMy thinking is different now, for with every day that passes, Satoshi’s original writing handily demonstrates the validity of the adage. Within only several pages, Satoshi conveyed a design for what would become the foundation of the world’s future monetary and economic systems. It hasn’t fully happened yet, but we’re seeing it unfold in front of us. And I think we may take this 10-year anniversary to remember why it matters…\n\nHumans have a depressing tendency to suffer under self-imposed delusion, and perhaps history can be viewed as the process of mankind sporadically discovering and casting off the self-deception under which it toils. Plato’s Allegory of the Cave conveyed it eloquently.\n\nWe live under many delusions, and for the last 100 years, at least, one such delusion has been that of fiat currency. Fiat currency is, without exaggeration, the most odious fraud ever perpetrated upon mankind.\nLet’s consider it for a moment…\n\nFiat operates as follows: a group of certain people (called “central bankers”) acquire the right (and indeed the mandate) to declare what shall be valued most in society; that most liquid and tradeable good: “money.” They acquire this right through a combination of opportunism and ignorance — opportunism on the part of political and financial interests to place themselves at the helm of monetary creation, and ignorance on the part of the public, which has very little understanding of finance altogether. And tragically, in the fraud of fiat, the victim subjects ask — indeed they plead — for the machination to be placed down upon them. They do it out of fear of financial calamity.\nThey do it because their leaders tell them it’s good for them. They do it to feel secure, as a child wrapped in a blanket. Franklin is often cited as condemning “those who would sacrifice liberty for security,” yet having lost its revolutionary spirit, today this group seems to include nearly the entire population.\n\nAnd indeed, once a large enough portion of people begin asking for the wise others to control and declare for them their system of value, it becomes institutionalized, and subsequent coercion is easily injected to enforce and maintain the system. Those who disobey the proclamation are punished — their property is stolen, their time is stolen, or in severe cases, their lives are stolen. The sword is employed, seeming in these cases so much more powerful than the pen. It is welcomed by the public, born down to implement and enforce the apparatus of fiat.\n\nAnd with this combination of public support at the fore, and the coercive sword behind, all of mankind has knelt down into the stockade.\n\nUnder the fiat system, a portion of the wealth of every man, woman, and child, is taken — stolen — each year. The portion is only a few percent, not so bad as to feel imprisoning, especially as the dirty trick of inflation is to induce price levels to rise, rather than bank account balances to fall, and while the two are mathematically similar, those aware will recognize the latter, yet not one in a hundred really sense the former.\n\nWhy does the bread increase in price each year? It is not due to 3 percent annual growth in the greed of the baker. Through the syphoning of this wealth, anointed “public servants” make decisions and allocate resources that do not belong to them, and in the best case, this leads to recklessness (perpetually-increasing government spending) and in the worst case, enables the wanton destruction and darkness of war, paid for — in part — by the trick of fiat inflation.\nAs Ron Paul commented on the 20th century, “It is no coincidence that the century of total war coincided with the century of central banking.” When accurately interpreted, fiat is a barbed-wire around the neck of civilization, piercing only enough for non-lethal blood letting, and constraining only enough to remind the victim not to run too fast in any other direction. That period in which the wire is severed, in which such delusion abstains — not just for one or several people, but for all of them — will be one of mankind’s brightest historical moments.\nThe promise of Bitcoin is but for a chance at that moment.\n\nIt is toward this end that Satoshi’s humble paper compelled so many of us. The goal, if I may presume the core of Bitcoin’s purpose, is to end the global system of fiat money within which we have trapped ourselves, to end the delusion, and it will do so by simply providing an open and unstoppable alternative to it; by illuminating a path out of the cave.\n\nBitcoin exists to separate the essence of value from any particular person or group of people. By so doing, the ability to control and manipulate money — that is to say, to control and manipulate the vast sum of people which endlessly chase after it — is substantially reduced. It reduces the power of any such ambitious group, inevitably reducing the corruption therein.\nThis was begun by several pages of text a decade ago, and now unfolds with no person leading the charge, yet millions inspired toward its execution. It now happens inevitably, uncontrollably, spontaneously upon the winds of markets, growing in momentum and effect with each passing year. Despite its decentralization, Bitcoin exudes an irresistible financial gravity, pulling into it people, resources, technology and energy itself. As it grows, those at the margins fall into it — first a layer of cryptographers grappling for decades with the struggle for privacy in finance and communication, then engineers, then financiers and marketers and lawyers and writers and entrepreneurs and artists. And yes, as with all booms, it has pulled in its share of scammers and frauds and superficial preachers.\n\nIts reach now extends even beyond humanity, for politicians themselves are increasingly pulled within its grasp… most finding a comfortable home at Ripple.\n\nRegardless of the froth and the noise, the fundamentals of crypto are sound. The technology works: for years now Bitcoin has operated correctly, growing swiftly in the hostile wilds, spawning countless other species, both competitive and collaborative. How does one defeat a Hydra in which there are not only so many heads, but so many independent bodies?\nFor those of us out here in the frontier with it, I think even we do not comprehend the power and inertia that is unfolding before us. The ability to move value effortlessly across the Earth was overdue. It is a power which should’ve arrived at the dawn of telecommunication, yet was censored while mankind stumbled through its fiat feverdream.\n\nThis power of universal transaction is arguably the inevitable extension of the pen that conceived it. All that has unfolded came through the consequential physics of the publication of several pages of text. And how far has it come?\n\nTen years in and Bitcoin could hardly be more successful — indeed since its genesis it has clearly been the most successful form of money ever invented. It has thrown entire bodies of economic theory out of the window, the old practitioners gripping tenuously from the balcony. Bitcoin grew 10,000-fold without the anointment of any king, nor the blessing of any banker. The Nobel Prize-winning Paul Krugman still so vehemently condemns it. Perhaps that is really the source of its unending power?\n\nDespite every professional condemnation, Bitcoin stands as proof that money can emerge through decentralized market forces, with no institutional prerequisite, no fiat diktat. It must be considered, at minimum, one of the most fascinating human phenomena ever witnessed.\n\nAnd so, 10 years on, begun as nothing more than the written word, first on paper and then in code, Bitcoin stands as proof of the pen’s omnipotence, and of my early naiveté on the topic of its sharper counterpart. Con người có khuynh hướng chán nản và mắc chứng tự ảo tưởng, và có lẽ chúng ta có thể nhìn nhận lịch sử như một quá trình mà con người đôi khi phát hiện ra và gạt bỏ sự tự huyễn hoặc mà bản thân họ tự tạo ra. Tác phẩm “Ngụ ngôn về cái hang” của Plato đã truyền đạt ý này một cách hùng hồn.\n\nChúng ta sống trong nhiều ảo tưởng và ít nhất một trong số đó là sự ảo tưởng trong suốt 100 năm qua về tiền pháp định.
