      "body": "In the news today, \"women stage protest at city restaurant that threw out breastfeeding mother\" as reported by an online Kenyan news page, Nairobi News, women protest against the action of a  restaurant which according to the victim, was basically as regards the approach of the restaurant walking her out even as it was raining at that point in time.\n\nThe first question which popped into my mind on seeinh this headline was: \"why would i, as a mother want to breastfeed my baby in public?\" This was before i read the whole writeup. I can understand the angle from which the restaurant was coming from; a restaurant is a public place with different kind of persons carrying out one act or the other. Such an image of a woman breastfeeding a baby without being covered might not be welcomed by some people, and so in trying to balance the rights of all persons in the restautant at that point in time, walked her out.\n\nIN MY OPINION, this approach is totally wrong and uncalled for. A better approach would have been the restaurant asking the young mother to cover herself in a polite manner, emphasizing the fact that some persons being exposed to such sight might find it uncomfortable.\n\nI personally feel that, it is not about not engaging in public breastfeeding, as i align myself with the argument of some online discussions who are of the view that, a mother should not starve her baby irrespective of where she is just because another person will be offended or uncomfortable by that. But i feel there is a better approach to this, by coverjng one's self and taking care with one's dressing, in order to make it more comfortable and easier. In my opinion, it is more classy and ladylike.\n\nAnother approach is by passing a law which makes it mandatory for owners of public buildings  to set aside special rooms where breastfeeding mothers can breastfeed their babies in private, IN MY OPINION.",
