Habíamos olvidado lo que se sentía viajar, aunque mi familia y yo considerábamos que no era un simple viaje a la playa, como cuando nos despertábamos a las 5 de la mañana para alistar nuestro traje de baño mientras mi madre y mis tías preparaban los refrigerios y el almuerzo. Y mis tíos, con mi padre, ponían a punto los automóviles de cada uno para no tener problema durante el camino. Ese olor a mañana envuelto en bloqueador solar, las empanadas y la Maltín polar que ningún venezolano debería olvidar de esos sábados de escapada a la playa.\n\nPara nosotros no era como eso. Era algo más grande.\nNunca habíamos viajado tan lejos, cuando mucho algún lugar de nuestro estado natal. (El estado Zulia) Nunca habíamos dejado atrás los 63.100 km² de tierra que representan nuestro hogar. Bueno, mi hermano postizo sí. Contratamos una la agencia de paquetes turísticos Murachi, quienes nos guiaron y nos acompañaron en todo el viaje. Junto a nosotros, fueron dos amigos de mis hermanos quienes tenían ahorros que estaban destinados a ser gastados en algún tipo de recreación turística memorable. \nYo no estoy acostumbrada a viajar, ni siquiera a salir de las cuatro paredes de mi habitación. Estaba entrando en pánico aquel día lluvioso en el que tomamos nuestras maletas llenas de ansiedad y estrés, para tirarlas en el viaje, con la intención de desintoxicar nuestra mente de esas cosas que nos hacían daño. Esta aventura serviría para renovarnos, para relajarnos...  \nComenzó a caer una pequeña llovizna, esperábamos que el autobús abriera sus puertas cuando mi hermano me dijo \"¿ Emocionada?\" el cual respondí con una risa tonta y dubitativa. ¿Qué rayos haces? me dije. Estarás muy lejos de casa.\n\nDurante la noche, sólo veía pequeñas luces en el cielo y una oscuridad espesa entre los árboles de los campos que habían en el camino, hasta llegué a creer que vi varios fantasmas. Todo era el sonido del autobús, las llantas, gente roncando y oscuridad. Pasamos por varios pueblos y pequeñas ciudades, todo me parecía un sueño extraño. ¿A dónde me dirijo? \nHicimos una parada en el Estado Trujillo. Al bajar, me sentí lejos de mi hogar. Y al ver la \"nada\" en todos lados, pensé que el mundo no era tan interesante como lo vemos en películas... \nLas montañas nos rodeaban, pero no se veía nada. Tenía un nudo en la garganta por lo que no dejé de masticar chicle y caramelos de menta; pequeñas luces revoloteaban a lo lejos, el horizonte era espeso y cada segundo más me sentía ansiosa. Un túnel. Me apreté a mí misma deseando que el túnel terminara. El haber estado despierta en todo el camino me hacía sentir extraña, ¿o era síntoma por el largo camino? \nSoy una malagradecida. De verdad. Lo digo porque mis ojos se llevaron una sorpresa al ver esas hermosas montañas con el velo negro de la noche. Las luces decoraban como si de un árbol de navidad se tratase, ya no importaba la gente roncando o el sonido fastidioso del camión, sólo quería bajarme y sentir que llegué. Incluso han llegado a desprestigiar su existencia. \nEl mismo Hironobu Sakaguchi, padre de la saga, admitió que FFIX es como debería ser un Final Fantasy. Y muchos concuerdan con eso, pues, la magia que transmite este hermoso juego es inigualable. De parecer una historia \"para niños\", pasa a ser una historia tétrica y oscura... La música, la historia, los sucesos, los personajes (Vivi, Yitán/Zidane, Daga) hacen de este FF uno inolvidable. Invito a jugarlo y hacer el esfuerzo de entender de qué va este juego. Les aseguro que el viaje de Alexandria a Dali, de Dali a Lindblum, de Lindblum a Burmecia. Del continente de la niebla al continente exterior y de Gaya a Terra, valdrá la pena.
