While most of us are sitting around wondering who's still selling at these horrible prices, others like the team from TAP are trying to figure out how to fix the real problem behind the overall crypto market, namely... It's Hard.\n\nWhen I say it's hard I'm referring to crypto as a whole whether your a bitcoin cash fan or a native bitcoin fan, or ethereum you name it every coin suffers inherently from the same problem even if we take for granted that the older generation won't use crypto ever, hell most of them can't use email or a smartphone in some cases. The fact is even the younger generation and those raised on social media and the internet can't really make heads or tails of Cryptocurrency and blockchain as a whole. The reason is crypto takes all the best parts of the internet wraps them in a layer of security that sounds and looks great to every engineer, sprinkles on a bit of the stock market and asset market and what your left with is something that as I said, our non-IT Engineering friends could barely understand. \n\nThe concept has always been simple, Crypto = Digital Currency, well at least before Ethereum and the likes added smart contracts and so much more possibilities. Which don't get me wrong is all great but it does nothing for making Nano or Ripple the next USD / EUR currency. There are groups all over that have realized this mostly smaller teams that are less focused on big revolutionary and next generation crypto and more on battling the real-life adoptability of crypto. Projects in the US like coinbase took a step towards accessibility by making it easy for people in the US to buy and sell crypto... from coinbase. The problem many realized is that there was a huge price for that ease of use, they were locked into that 1 market rate that coinbase chose. While more exchanges have started to offer USDT and other stable coins and accept and give FIAT. The fact is your still tied to that exchange, which in the end limits your options for purchases and limits your options to find the best price.\n\nThe team from TAP thought there had to be a better way, with nearly endless volume available on centralized exchanges, but it remains fragmented some coins available on some exchanges and not on others, an ever shifting balance of which exchange offers the best rate. TAP seeks to offer a global view of the crypto market rates tieing together many of the largest exchanges into a single point of reference. Allowing the average user to complete a single KYC to maintain regulatory compliance, and then TAP acts as the middle man handling purchases via their mobile app, completing purchases and sales for whatever crypto you want at the best possible market rate from whichever exchange happens to be the best at that moment.\n\nBy removing much of the guess work from Crypto purchasing it should give a bit of peace of mind to people who are entering the market. After that anxiety is lifted theirs the next big worry most new entries to the Crypto space have, one that even my wife continues to ask me. \"So you've got your fancy internet money now what\"... Well for that TAP has an answer that harks back to the earlier days of crypto and one of the most available fiat methods of payment, plastic. Yep cold flexible plastic, the debit card, the team behind TAP are working to bring an assortment of Crypto FIAT cards to market dubbed... you probably guessed it the TAP cards. The general consensus is that crypto is in a bear market trend and because of that mining is a moot point. But considering theirs still 50-60 MILLION terahash of computing power be dedicated to bitcoin alone, shows that a lot of someones out there know the truth. Mining is profitable if you know how to do it right. Yes I wrote that correctly 50-60 million terahash, it's an insane number 50,000,000,000,000,000,000 hashes every second are calculated for bitcoin!\n\nMy main concern with crypto cloud mining always has been and remains legitimacy, not profitability. The thing is if you're into mining for the long term even if it were to not be fiat profitable as the market rebounds, the held crypto will be worth more, in a lot of ways its a hedge on the future of cryptocurrency. Most people are pretty confident that bitcoin will be profitable for a long time to come, even in the bear market, it seems to have found it's floor. That's why legitimacy continues to be my main concern. Something that I believe Securix has put a lot of effort into trying to prove by being above board, so far, at every turn. From walkthrough videos of the location, they will be operating from, to pictures of their executive touring the facility. \n\n![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWirkYh5SYLhneZFAaww8Biw6D4xwMWsxh8TB99UFRxZi/image.png)\n\nThere's always a risk in any investment, crypto especially due to the volatility and rampant abuse from project teams. So all we can really do is take our time and assess opportunities as they arise. Look for red flags and explanations and judge for each and every one of ourselves on how we feel a project stands to survive. Myself the openness and discussions I've had with the Securix team on their telegram, leave me feeling concerned at the moment. I still hope for continued updates, and more, always more information from the team. What has me excited for Securix is the fact the team has so far delivered, as I've said from videos and pictures, and a promise for progress pictures as they upgrade the power for the location, and even in the new year as the mining hardware arrives, we've got open promises from the team to continue to post progress updates and pictures as the plant develops and grows.\n\nThis inside look into a cloud operation gives a sense of legitimacy that I find from past \"cloud\" mining operations was lacking, even the biggest cloud mining groups have been reluctant to show their operations or give looks inside the facilities. Meanwhile Securix, whenever I've talked to the team on Telegram, has remained very open to what may come in the future and how the team can better give peace of mind to investors. A big announcement from the team when they clarified that the return to investors would be from gross revenue not net revenue was a huge announcement that shows the team is truly trying to be different from those that came before them. By having an openly tradeable token as a representation of the hash power, this allows for open exchanges and speculation on the hash power to play into the valuation of the tokens even beyond just the dividend return. By taking the market prices from all over the crypto industry and serving up the current best option to the user this would allow people to be buying and selling near instantly at the best possible rate. \n\nAccording to the team they estimate acquisitions and sales of crypto across the industry will take less than 3 seconds. Imagine that no hunting coinmarketcap, not hunting through all your exchanges and not signing up for a new exchange to get a better rate because you're only registered at the biggest exchanges and the best price is at a smaller exchange at that moment. These are all things we've had to deal with in the past and these are all situations that according to TAP won't be necessary anymore. A quick look at even bitcoin's coinmarketcap overview shows that the spread tends to be over 3% and that's on a huge marketcap coin, the spread grows to even wider margins when you look at midrange and low market cap coins, where the spread between availability can be anywhere from 3-10%. \n\n![btcspread.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWG7PdsrXHGcgmnUDrhykoJjkfWu3YWfZMHDX5yU9SCmh/btcspread.png)\n\nTAP by offering a quick one-stop shop where you can get the best prices from a deluge of exchanges for whatever crypto you are looking to buy or sell, with only a 1.5% fee, as you can see even with the most narrow of coins, you're still getting one of the best possible rates for the coin without any of the hassle. Combine this ease of access with the ability for you to have access to any supported exchange with a single KYC means that you won't have to hand out your KYC documentation to some random \"SuperShadyExchangeWithGreatPrices\" instead you deal with 1 central authority and they handle all the legwork to connect to the various exchanges and get you those best prices, while at the same time giving their user base access to more volume than any single exchange would be capable of.\n\nBecause of the scope of their project the team has more legwork to accomplish than possibly any other project I've monitored in recent time, they have to deal with Exchange APIs from all assorted exchanges with different API platforms and implementations. On top of dealing with setting up a complete KYC process that will be compliant with regulatory agencies from eligible countries, as well as all the various exchanges they will be integrating with. Top that off with a side of well designed mobile application development and you've got yourself a hell of a project workload. But the amazing part is that the team already has internal development alpha's with some big name exchanges already being adapted and integrated into the platform, so they are much closer to bringing their product to market than almost any other project I'm monitoring. They are tieing all this together into a perfect little bow that I imagine a LOT of crypto users are going to jump at the chance to take part in.
