Me conmovió leer que una vez que el empieza a vivir con su padre el cual era militar, se sentia atrapado porque era un hombre que lo restringia de una vida social, inclusive la primera vez que lo agrede fisicamente, fue por haber salido a la iglesia un fin de semana que estaba castigado. Vargas Llosa cuenta que la paternidad intimidante y autoritaria de su padre fue fundamental para que el se convirtiera en escritor.\n\n Precisamente su libro menciona esas experiencias vividas porque de ahi  sumado a otras experiencias con su padre fue lo que motivó su interes y deseo de ser un escritor, porque su padre odiaba la idea de ver a Mario en la literatura, ya que creia que eso podria conducirlo a la mariconeria y por eso quizo inscribirlo a los 14 años en una academia militar para quitarle esas ideas. Por lo tanto en este post se analizará lo que fue el Caracazo y que consecuencias históricas dejaron dichos disturbios y explicar cómo es que hoy en día se sigue viviendo un ciclo político y social por consecuencia del llamado Caracazo en la historia contemporánea de Venezuela.\n\n<center>[Fuente](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caracazo)</center>\nEl Caracazo o Sacudón fue una serie de fuertes protestas y disturbios en Venezuela relacionados con medidas económicas anunciadas durante el gobierno de Carlos Andrés Pérez, que comenzaron el 27 de febrero en Guarenas y finalizaron el 8 de marzo de 1989 en la ciudad de Caracas. El nombre proviene de Caracas, la ciudad donde acontecieron parte de los hechos. El saldo de muertes empezó el 27 de febrero cuando fuerzas de seguridad de la Policía Metropolitana, Fuerzas Armadas del Ejército y de la Guardia Nacional salieron a las calles a controlar la situación. Aunque las cifras oficiales reportan 276 muertos y numerosos heridos, algunos reportes extraoficiales hablan de más de 3000 desaparecidos.\n\nBien, una vez dicho lo que fue el Caracazo, sobre esos hechos, cabe destacar que todo eso sucedió desde luego porque a solo pocas semanas de asumir el gobierno, el entonces presidente Pérez, se decide poner en práctica de manera inmediata el paquete de ajustes y de medidas económicas, financieras y fiscales para El 26 de febrero el Ministerio de Energía y Minas anuncia el alza en 30% de los precios de la gasolina y el incremento de las tarifas del transporte público urbano e interurbano también en un 30% a partir del 27 de febrero, válido para los 3 meses siguientes, después de los cuales podrían aumentarse hasta el 100%. Esas medidas mencionadas fueron el detonante de lo que ocurriria en la mañana del 27 de febrero de 1989.\n\nLos disturbios se iniciaron en Guarenas (ciudad ubicada a 25 km al este de Caracas), inicialmente en forma de protestas, la mañana del 27 de febrero de 1989 cuando comenzó a haber problemas de transporte hacia la capital, Caracas. En un principio parecía una protesta de los usuarios por la subida del precio del transporte y de los transportistas porque esa subida les parecía escasa. Con una rapidez sorprendente, lo que comenzó como una protesta focalizada en una pequeña ciudad, en cuestión de horas se transformó en una ola de vandalismo, violencia y saqueo a nivel nacional. Cabe destacar que el Presidente Pérez implementa esas medidas económicas porque la economía estaba deteriorada producto de la deuda extranjera del \"boom petrolero\" de los años 70, más la devaluación de la moneda en 1983. .\n\nPrecisamente sobre esos sucesos es necesario aclarar que desde luego por un lado ese evento sucede porque las medidas económicas del segundo gobierno de Pérez no fueron bien recibidas por la población. Sin embargo también es necesario aclarar que el Caracazo también sucede porque hubo grupos vestidos de cuerpos policiales que en apartamentos cercanos a los mercados de Caracas amenazaban a las personas a que fueran a sacar productos de los mercados, porque de lo contrario se veia como esos mismos grupos armados rompían vidrios de vehículos y ventanas de apartamentos para que hubiese gente que sacara productos de forma coaccionada.\n\nPara finalizar, es necesario decir que esos hechos dejaron como legado un descontento y malestar social del que no nos hemos recuperado, porque añadido a ese legado, vale decir que evidentemente todos esos hechos hicieron perder al Presidente Carlos Andrés Pérez respaldo popular, ya que estaba aplicando medidas que aunque eran necesarias, no serian respaldadas por el país e inclusive a pesar que en 1991 esas políticas hacen que Venezuela viviera una breve recuperación económica, el descontento del Caracazo le abre paso y excusa a la intentona golpista de Chávez el 4 de febrero del 92 que luego impactaría en que ese descontento social con el paso de los años lo harían Presidente para con el paso del tiempo imponer un sistema centralizado y comunista del que hoy en día estamos pagando consecuencias graves.\n\nPodemos decir que el Caracazo fue el detonante de la crisis política e institucional que hoy en día está mucho peor, pero en si podemos concluir que si Venezuela empezó a sufrir una crisis política fue por existir una deuda externa a finales de los 70, junto con la devaluación de la moneda en 1983 y de eso la sociedad no entendió que ante el deterioro de una moneda de un país, eso se resuelve con un aumento parcial de impuestos para reparar el daño económico, además que en Venezuela según el general Carlos Peñaloza, que le venía haciendo seguimiento al movimiento conspirador de Hugo Chávez Frías, describe en su libro \"El Delfín de Fidel\" cómo Fidel Castro infiltró en Venezuela a un pelotón de francotiradores cubanos cuando fue a la toma de posesión de Carlos Andrés Pérez días antes del estallido. El interés de Castro de tener acceso a las riquezas venezolana lo hizo planificar de forma silenciosa generar un estallido para luego del descontento tener un delfín que le envié recursos de Venezuela a cambio de asesorarlo para permanecer en el poder",
