The top guys already have a lot of attention and even have backing of media houses and press, so when they put out new works it’s getting to a larger audience, unlike the nameless and upcoming guys who don’t have the financial wherewithal to promote aggressively. Then there’s also the problem of finance for putting your Music on the online streaming platforms where a lot of listeners are now domiciled. Without putting it there online for them, you miss out on the revenue to be generated from those avenues and you also miss out on growing your audience and fan base because that’s where the audience is. What many music listeners don’t know is that for music to be everywhere like you see it, the distributors for the artists have to pay heavily to third-party platforms (e.g. online streaming platforms) to put it there, and many new artists can’t pay those heavy prices or don’t have the financial backing to pay it.\n\n\nIt is one of the biggest reasons I’m solidly behind Emanate Music, because they solve these two big problems; the problem of Equality in Music distribution and artists financing the promoting of their Music to a large audience. Every Artist on Emanate has equal chances to get listening time. After you pay the very undervalued (if you ask me) staking fee of 5000 EMT tokens, your music gets put out to their thousands of listeners. Irrespective of how many followers you have whether 10 or 10,000 your music will still get seen by many.  And the pretty cool stuff is you get rewarded for staking, so it’s a win-win for the artists, you get staking rewards, and you also gain when your Music is listened to.  You can always go for the higher package and pay for the Emanate Distro where your Music gets distributed to the bigger platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music, Tencent, YouTube, Yandex and the likes, and that means more earnings for you. But you can always opt for the basic version where you make money from Emanate and their listeners like me.\n\n\nVery soon we will say goodbye to the days of artists paying very heavy for their Music to be put on streaming platforms and listened to. Very soon we will say goodbye to the days of upcoming and unknown artist suffering because they can’t pay for their Music to be put out at par with the big boys. Emanate gives all artists equal publicity, and they take away the stress of promotion for the artists all for a way too small price in my opinion. Blockchain is revolutionizing the whole world and I am not surprised that the Music industry has keyed into the wind of change. Today we are seeing the rise in use of Digital Art as Blockchain revolutionizes the whole industry and we are watching as NFTs become the new in-thing and some are making ridiculous amounts from it. Defi is still a big buzzword and we have gotten a glimpse of how Blockchain can transform how lending, borrowing and farming are done. We are also seeing Blockchain reconstruct the way governing and decision making should be, and being a part of it all feels like a privilege. Another industry I’m super psyched up about that the Blockchain fever is enveloping sure has to be the Music industry. I’m seeing projects like Emanate Music doing big things and it’s truly beautiful to watch and be a part of.\n\nI saw a post on Twitter recently, here is the tweet, https://twitter.com/RAC/status/1312468407816601600?s=19\n\nfrom Grammy winning recording artist RAC and he talked about his SoundCloud account which he created in 2009. It has grown in that time to over 5.51 million followers with over 147 million plays, but interestingly and rather sadly HE HAS NEVER RECEIVED ANY INCOME FROM IT IN 11 YEARS. I was then checking the Emanate Music Discord server and I saw a user who mentioned how much he had made during the lockdown from streams and it was mindboggling my friends. It only goes to show the flaw in the centralized platforms of streaming Music, and that’s why I feel we truly need a product and technology like what Emanate Music is offering. \n\nEmanate gives artists the chance to earn from doing what they love to do, there is no greater dream in life than to do what you love and earn from it and handsomely at that. With a lot of other really cool features that all the other centralized streaming platforms can’t boast of, I really truly believe that this project is destined for big things. It gladdens my heart to see that one of the projects I have a bag in is living up to the hype I have built around them. If you have been following me for a while, you will know that I talk about and promote the Emanate Music project a lot because I love what they are doing there and I love their dream. I and other members of the team spoke about it and the team listened. With this new update, it gives you the chance to follow those artists you love their works. Formerly you only got to see those artists that were displayed, but now you get to check out those you love and follow them. More than that, previously you couldn’t favorite those songs you loved, or save tracks to listen again. The beautiful thing is this update has been launched, it went live yesterday and I love it so far. Kind of how YouTube has the Library feature where all your offline downloads are stored, Emanate is giving something similar. If you missed the First two Parts you should definitely go through my profile and check them out, we talked about the project technology and their ability to attain Mass Adoption. Straight right into today’s piece, we will be looking at another way to identify a viable project.\n\nAnother big way to spot a good project is through their Team. What many don’t seem to understand is that a Crypto project is pretty much like and the same thing as a business. It will have a founder or in most cases founders and a team. Just like a business, it requires a lot of work and sacrifice on the path of the team. We see Crypto projects that begin and they sell out just like in the business world. Just in April of this year, we saw big boys CoinMarket Cap sell out to Binance. Now you have to really research into the team running through the project because they control your funds.\n\nYou ask yourself simple questions like; Are the team competent in this industry they are into? Do they have proven records of experience doing similar things and succeeding? Do they have criminal records that will serve as red flags? Are they passionate, resilient and determined to make the project work. These questions will help you make an informed guess about the team and how committed they are to their project. The truth is there will be the bad days; it’s only if they are really passionate about the project that they’ll keep going. For instance, we were in a 2 year bear market from 2018-2020, prices slumped to All Time Lows, and many projects packed up and left in that time because their teams were not resilient enough. Those funds invested have now been lost which is rather sad, but it is what it is.\n\nYou need to heavily research into the team like I have been saying all along. I once wanted to invest in a project and I found out that one of the core team members was a porn star. Now I have nothing about porn stars but business and pleasure are different and I didn’t invest because of that fact, or if you found out some of the team members were ex-convicts. They could have repented but it’s always better safe than sorry. Another example, a project like Cardano I love because their founder Charles Hoskinson was also a co-founder of Ethereum with Vitalik Buterin. The founder made me buy into Cardano because he has enough experience to make it work.\n\nI have been talking about Emanate Music for a while; and I will keep talking about them because they tick this box for me. Their team is made up of guys who have a lot of experience in the Blockchain and Music industry. From developers, to artists and the likes, they are a truly focused team I must say. The fact that they were launched in 2017 and survived the 2 year bear market like I said from 2018-2020 in my opinion means they should be given credits. They also have a tightly knit team with most of their core team residing in Australia, so that solves the problem of proximity.\n\nThis my friends is how you find a viable project through their team. But in my time in all the madness here, I've learnt some very valuable lessons.\n\n\nOne of the biggest lessons I've learnt from Crypto is patience. I have not always being the most patient person and many times I just go \"HULK SMASH\". Fortunately or rather unfortunately I entered Crypto in the bear market, so I had to be super patient. I remember checking Coin Market Cap everyday praying for a spike in price. But it taught me patience and that lesson has been an invaluable one in my journey through life as a whole generally. Being using what I learnt from Crypto in other spheres of life and it has been a great journey so far. So while I am still getting the Magic Internet money, I also found patience.\n\n\nAlso, it taught me hard work. Anybody that told you that you can earn millions here in weeks here is lying to you. I discovered that those guys on YouTube with videos of them in Lambos and going around with hot Instagram models and working out and they would only sit in front of a screen for 5 minutes and they would make 5-10 thousand dollars was a sham, it should be the biggest fraud ever hahaha.\n\n\nBut I'm grateful for what I've gotten and learnt and the people I've met through Crypto. Been blessed to have met so many real Crypto OG's and eaten my own share of the Crypto pie, and worked for a couple of Blockchain projects. I have lost my fair share, also earned my fair share, but the lessons I have learnt are invaluable to me.",
