titleBe at peace with yourself - how does it work?
body“Being at peace with yourself” is a popular phrase used to express that you are comfortable with yourself. The past, the decisions made and who you are now - everything is kind of fine. The problem is that we often think that something has to change first, that we have to change in some way in order to achieve this feeling. I would like to show you a way that gets along without any ifs or buts in order to come to terms with yourself. ## Why are we actually impure with ourselves? ## You are probably reading this article because you do not feel that you are at peace with yourself, but you would like to be. In other words, you feel like you are impure with yourself. There can be different reasons. In many cases it has to do with perfectionism and pressure to perform. We can supposedly only feel good when we have done enough, otherwise there is dissatisfaction . The feeling of being at peace with oneself is therefore linked to certain conditions. The problem with this is: Often we have so high expectations of ourselves that we do not meet these conditions, and certainly not permanently. So we remain in a state of strife instead of feeling comfortable with ourselves. ## Rethink and be at peace with yourself ## Whether we humans are pure or impure because we often do not correspond to our own or other people's ideas is a philosophical question, and for some people also a religious question. The important thing is: This question does not need an answer in order to be at peace with yourself. > Because it's not about how we are, but our view of ourselves. Instead of striving for perfection in order to be at peace with ourselves, we change our view of ourselves. Perhaps discover a whole new perspective that actually enables us to be at peace with ourselves. > An important key phrase can be: I am human and cannot avoid human experiences. We are human and that includes sometimes doing things that we later regret. That doesn't even mean that these things were actually "wrong". It's just that we decide afterwards that we actually wanted to behave differently. The subsequent "strife mode" is also part of being human and also that it is difficult to forgive yourself . Now it's getting exciting, because there is still something like the neutral observer in us. We are able to simply perceive that we evaluate something as wrong and perceive how we quarrel and are dissatisfied about it. Without further evaluating it. We can observe our humanity and everything that goes with it. Since we are not adding anything to this observation - that is, no specific thoughts, evaluations or reinterpretations - one could almost say that this is a “pure” point of view. If we take this point of view and even begin to identify with it, we can feel at ease with ourselves. ## The fear of complacency ## You may have the thought: "That means, I can do anything I want and always feel comfortable with it if I manage to perceive it neutrally." But people who are at peace with themselves are neither complacent nor indifferent or even reckless. Of course, it is important to learn and decide how we want to behave in the future. For example, self-reflection and our inner values can help us . But to be considerate and reflective and to develop further is possible without going into judgment with yourself. It is even better possible, as the quarrel often prevents us from looking ahead. Therefore: take courage and don't be afraid of complacency! This could also be important to yoursTo question beliefs . ## Be at peace with yourself in everyday life ## Always and everywhere - whenever it occurs to you - try to take the observer's perspective, the "pure view" in order to be at peace with yourself. You can also create memories for this. A very good memory can be your uncomfortable feelings . If you find that you are not feeling well, there is no need to mentally go into it and immerse yourself in those feelings. Let them be there and watch them - without judging. If you start to quarrel with yourself and think, "Why did I say or do that?" Just be aware of it. In this way you can relax more and more , become more relaxed and be at peace with yourself in many moments - **enjoy it!**

titleBenefits Of Failure & 6 Tips To Overcome Failure
body# There are advantages to failure # The fear of failure is great. And not without reason: Some people who fail are initially reduced to this failure. However, a one-time defeat does not mean that it will be repeated. Even if you fail several times, it doesn't always have to stay that way. How your failure affects those around you is also very much related to how you react to your failures . If you try to deny or cover up this, it will likely stick with your fellow human beings. However, if you openly admit your mistakes and explain how you can learn from them, your fellow human beings will react positively and remember you that way. ![3.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUALnzXknUbaWb62HakCLfvfMuooj4ndbX24j2c1xiygx/3.jpg) ## Failures lead to personal growth ## You cannot grow personally if you just step on the spot. Only when you act can you grow from these very acts. And actions can lead to failure. However, you can decide for yourself how you react to these defeats. You may even be afraid of suffering such defeat that others will laugh at you and criticize your actions . However, you should not be guided by these people. Because then you might end up like her. However, it doesn't do you any good if you pull other people down and amuse yourself at their failures. Rather look at yourself and measure yourself against yourself. Then you can learn from your mistakes. ## Failure creates more compassion ## With experience you also learn how to deal with other people. Because if you have to put up with a few defeats yourself, you can also react more empathically to people who fail yourself. You know from your own experience that nobody is infallible and mistakes happen. So you are more likely to forgive mistakes and stand by your fellow men better when they fail. In no way would you laugh at her if you were down on the ground yourself. ## Failure means taking responsibility ## Those who fail learn to take responsibility for their own actions. Because in most cases you yourself contributed to your failure. If you deny this, however, and put the reason on others and external circumstances, you also push away the responsibility. It is self-reflection especially important in defeats to learn from it and be successful long term. You can work on your mistakes and be more successful the next time you try. ## Let your emotions run free ## Anyone who dares will likely suffer defeat at some point. This is what happened to countless successful personalities. Both Joanne K. Rowling and Stephen King could not find publishers for their books. Astrid Lindgren felt the same way with her book “Pippi Longstocking”. Steve Jobs was even fired from his own company. What all these personalities have in common, however, is that they did not allow themselves to be dragged down by these defeats, but found the courage to continue. You can find out how you can do this in the following. ## Allow pain ## Before you can deal with defeat, you must first accept it as such. And that with all the emotions that come with such a setback as sadness , anger , despair and disappointment . Defeat hurts. You invested a lot of time and in the end it was not worth it. You gave resources that are now irretrievably gone. All of this can hit you hard at first. In order for you to process all of the negative emotions, you have to let them out first. The best thing to do is to seek advice from a friend or family member who can build you up and let you completely let yourself go. If you allow your emotions, you can look forward again after a while. ## Analyze the situation objectively ## Only when you have let your emotions out should you start analyzing the situation. Because only then can you approach the matter objectively. To wallow in self-pity or even develop self-doubt is of little help. Try to identify the causes of your failure . But don't look for a reason or a culprit, because often there is no such thing. Often several factors play a role in a defeat. So the situation is complex and takes some time to think about before you can fully understand it. First of all, focus completely on the analysis. Because only when you have understood what ultimately went wrong can you find solutions that will prevent you from failing next time. ## Maintain pride ## As I said, it doesn't help you to sink into self-pity after failure. It doesn't make you feel any better, nor does it make the situation any less bad. Stay confident and try to see your defeat as a new opportunity. That can be difficult at first. However, once you have accepted your failure as such, you should try to pull the positive side out of the situation . Be proud of yourself for daring to take this step in the first place. Despite all the risks, you believed in yourself and not many people dare to take this step. ![4.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmR4qtDp128udsx9wtxZapipfcTFa2Ed3oBaymceUz18M8/4.jpg) ## Get feedback ## If you still have self-doubts, it helps you to get feedback, for example from friends and relatives, but you can also question yourself objectively. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What else do you have to work on? What distinguishes you Write these points down and think about how you can turn your weaknesses into your strengths . Perhaps you can take online classes or read a book on the subject to educate yourself in the area and be prepared next time. Also ask your friends where they see your strengths. Sometimes you are not even aware of your own merits when the inner critic is too loud. Then outsiders can look more objectively at what your good points are. If you agree with these views, you can build on these strengths in the future. ## Get inspired ## After you have reflected on all of the points described, it is time to look into the future. You have now invested enough time in analyzing the past. Now you should look ahead again. However, you shouldn't just get started, but think carefully about how to proceed. Keep your strengths in mind and consider whether they fit your goals. At this point, it is also helpful to take inspiration from other successful personalities . Look at their biographies and let their experiences guide you. Maybe this will give you a new perspective on your situation . But always keep an eye on your own situation and personality. You cannot act one-to-one like others do. So always assess individually how you should act in a corresponding situation. ## Set new goals ## In some cases it also makes sense to take a new path. If your goals no longer fit into your current life plan, it is worth thinking about a new direction . Maybe your defeat has shaken you up and you realize that you want to take a new path. However, you shouldn't do this just because you failed. If you give up now, you may regret it for life. Try to let both your head and your gut do the talking: Do you feel that you are still on the right track? Or have you lost your way and need a new goal to find your way back on the right path? Now is the time to make up your mind. Stand confidently behind your decision and tackle the matter with renewed courage. Then the defeat had positive sides for you too.

"body": "# There are advantages to failure #\nThe fear of failure is great. However, if you openly admit your mistakes and explain how you can learn from them, your fellow human beings will react positively and remember you that way.\n\n\n![3.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUALnzXknUbaWb62HakCLfvfMuooj4ndbX24j2c1xiygx/3.jpg)\n\n\n## Failures lead to personal growth ##\nYou cannot grow personally if you just step on the spot. Only when you act can you grow from these very acts. And actions can lead to failure. However, you can decide for yourself how you react to these defeats. You may even be afraid of suffering such defeat that others will laugh at you and criticize your actions .\n\nHowever, you should not be guided by these people. Because then you might end up like her. However, it doesn't do you any good if you pull other people down and amuse yourself at their failures. Rather look at yourself and measure yourself against yourself. Then you can learn from your mistakes.\n\n## Failure creates more compassion ##\nWith experience you also learn how to deal with other people. Because if you have to put up with a few defeats yourself, you can also react more empathically to people who fail yourself. You know from your own experience that nobody is infallible and mistakes happen. So you are more likely to forgive mistakes and stand by your fellow men better when they fail. In no way would you laugh at her if you were down on the ground yourself.\n\n## Failure means taking responsibility ##\nThose who fail learn to take responsibility for their own actions. Because in most cases you yourself contributed to your failure. If you deny this, however, and put the reason on others and external circumstances, you also push away the responsibility. It is self-reflection especially important in defeats to learn from it and be successful long term. You can work on your mistakes and be more successful the next time you try.\n\n## Let your emotions run free ##\nAnyone who dares will likely suffer defeat at some point. You can find out how you can do this in the following.\n\n## Allow pain ##\nBefore you can deal with defeat, you must first accept it as such. If you allow your emotions, you can look forward again after a while.\n\n## Analyze the situation objectively ##\nOnly when you have let your emotions out should you start analyzing the situation. Because only when you have understood what ultimately went wrong can you find solutions that will prevent you from failing next time.\n\n## Maintain pride ##\nAs I said, it doesn't help you to sink into self-pity after failure. Despite all the risks, you believed in yourself and not many people dare to take this step.\n\n\n![4.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmR4qtDp128udsx9wtxZapipfcTFa2Ed3oBaymceUz18M8/4.jpg)\n\n\n## Get feedback ##\nIf you still have self-doubts, it helps you to get feedback, for example from friends and relatives, but you can also question yourself objectively. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What else do you have to work on? What distinguishes you Write these points down and think about how you can turn your weaknesses into your strengths . Perhaps you can take online classes or read a book on the subject to educate yourself in the area and be prepared next time.\n\nAlso ask your friends where they see your strengths. Sometimes you are not even aware of your own merits when the inner critic is too loud. Then outsiders can look more objectively at what your good points are. If you agree with these views, you can build on these strengths in the future.\n\n## Get inspired ##\nAfter you have reflected on all of the points described, it is time to look into the future. Maybe this will give you a new perspective on your situation .\n\nBut always keep an eye on your own situation and personality. You cannot act one-to-one like others do. So always assess individually how you should act in a corresponding situation.\n\n## Set new goals ##\nIn some cases it also makes sense to take a new path. If your goals no longer fit into your current life plan, it is worth thinking about a new direction . Maybe your defeat has shaken you up and you realize that you want to take a new path. However, you shouldn't do this just because you failed. If you give up now, you may regret it for life.\n\nTry to let both your head and your gut do the talking: Do you feel that you are still on the right track? Or have you lost your way and need a new goal to find your way back on the right path? Now is the time to make up your mind. Stand confidently behind your decision and tackle the matter with renewed courage. Then the defeat had positive sides for you too.",

title6 tips on how to overcome your loneliness
bodyAccept yourself for who you are To change your behavior, the first thing you need to do is work on your self-image. In order for you to have a positive effect on others, you must first think positively of yourself . Focus on your good qualities, the things you like about yourself. Remind yourself that nobody is perfect and accept your weaknesses too. Meditation and affirmations can help you love yourself. Instead of being guided by negative sentences, try self-affirming statements like “I accept myself for who I am”, “I am valuable”, or “I deserve to be treated well”. ![2.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbWR8A6YMX2XnxTrStz38b6jpp5qNpvKAoN2MEf5Z2GGQ/2.jpg) Do not become dependent on others In the next step, try to put less emphasis on what others think of you. Don't be afraid that other people might have bad opinions of you. If you always avoid someone thinking badly of you, you will never come into contact with other people. You can never please everyone, so don't even try. It is enough if you have a few people around you who like and accept you. But don't expect too much from those around you either. They are also imperfect and one person can never satisfy all of your needs. Don't wait for them to come to you, take the first step yourself, even if there is a risk of being rejected. Make contact with your fellow human beings Try to get in touch with people around you. There are so many ways you can meet other people. Start a hobby where you will meet new people. How about a sports club, a course at a community college or a choir? Volunteering also brings you together with other people. If that's too daring, you can first try an everyday conversation with your neighbor or the saleswoman in the supermarket. Take an interest in the life of others You have a lot to give to others. Whether it's just a smile , an open ear or your time, signal to your fellow human beings that you are interested in them. This will make others feel good and they will respond more positively to you. Listen carefully and ask questions if necessary. Take part in the lives of others and tell something about yourself too. You will feel more belonging right away. Be active Give your life something that gives it meaning. Whether it's a job that means a lot to you, a hobby, volunteer work or a certain routine, these things will make you appreciate and feel less lonely. They also help you use your time wisely. You get to know other people who share your interest. This gives you a common connection. Take care of your well-being However, don't just focus on others, take care of yourself as well. Be a good friend to yourself . Don't be afraid to spend time alone with yourself, but make this time as nice as possible. Bring more joy into your life . Treat yourself to something and do activities that you enjoy. Take long walks, spend a lot of time in nature or furnish your apartment according to your taste. This will make you feel more comfortable with yourself. In return, you should banish all reasons for your loneliness from your life. If you feel that your love relationship is getting lost in everyday life, you should speak to your partner about it and solve the problem.

title3 Possible Causes Of Loneliness
bodyMore and more people feel lonely. Loneliness has an extremely negative effect on the quality of life and can even have health consequences. We help you to recognize loneliness and to overcome it. ![1.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmezQPX2iZHFEVaJDXezQhvmpeA1nPGyAxDe7QBoycY5a9/1.jpg) Alone is not the same as loneliness Loneliness is a growing problem in today's society. In the last few decades, the lifestyle of many people has changed and the focus is more on the individual and less on the community. Although independence also brings a lot of good things, it increases the risk of becoming lonely. Loneliness is mainly a painful lack of closeness that persists over a long period of time. This also distinguishes loneliness from being alone, because being alone is more of a spatial separation from other people, while loneliness is an inner pain. Still, being alone is often confused with loneliness. For many people, being alone is inevitable in order to draw new strength. If you always have other people around you, it steals a lot of energy, which you only recharge if you allow yourself some rest and take time for yourself. To do this, you probably take a distance from your fellow human beings. If, on the other hand, you are lonely, the distance to others is not spatial but emotional. You do not feel you belong and your fellow human beings do not understand you. If this feeling is permanent, it can make you sick, because the human being is actually a social being. This stress can even cause physical pain and lead to various mental illnesses such as depressiLonely people often isolate themselves in their negative feelings. They make themselves, their fellow human beings and their life situation bad, even if this seems incomprehensible to many outsiders. This is mostly due to a deep inner insecurity and a negative self-assessment. Little self-esteem In particular, low self-esteem can cause people to become lonely. Due to the loneliness, the self-esteem decreases even more until you have an extremely negative self-image. This leads to the fact that you isolate yourself from those around you because you feel different and misunderstood. If other people react negatively to you, you will feel confirmed again in this way of thinking. Negative outlook on life You transfer this attitude to all areas of life. You believe that you have nothing to offer others and are therefore indifferent to those around you. You also find it difficult to accept your body and your personality. A lonely person focuses on the negative things in life and keeps them in mind instead of appreciating the positive things in life. Fear of rejection In addition, lonely people make their self-image heavily dependent on others. If others react negatively to you, you take this as a confirmation of your negative feelings and isolate yourself even more. Shy people especially have trouble approaching other people and therefore tend to be lonely. Often lonely people do not dare to speak to other people because of their fear of rejection and expect to be spoken to because they would not be able to cope with a rejection.
