      "body": "We are not talking about whales, and today's market the danger factors are manipulators from funds, banks and companies who were late to the crypto market, and want to make money off individuals across the board.  \n\nHow do they do that?  \n\nThey have access to money they don't own, and they have access to information and products individuals don't have.  Is this for real?  Absolutely.  They are all over the futures contract and the crypo market to manipulate prices, for one reason alone - making money for themselves.  They could do that by trashing the tech, trolling the community, painting tapes downwards, paying for news agencies to buzz certain news etc. etc.\n\nWhat can we the community do?\n\nWe should expose these manipulators.  But how, if we don't have access of billions of free money they have?  The 1st step to curate the space, is to make everyone see the market is no longer making sense, and it's not freely trading as it should anymore.  How do we do that?  One simply thing to do is the community all wait and announce good news on the day when their futures contract expire, which is this Friday 26th.  \n\nNotably, all good news need to come out on the market one by one, until before 4pm London time when the future expires.  This would make the market trading no longer make sense, and would expose market manipulators quite clearly.  What would happen to the market manipulators afterwards?  Probably nothing, if history provides any guidance.  They would lose once, and may think again before manipulating the market before the next futures contracts expire.\n\nDo you have any better ideas to expose the manipulators?       "body": "The cryptocurrency market conditions these days make it quite convincing that the crypto market is quite easily manipulated by anyone/firms with access to large sum of money.  These people or firms don't even need to have the money, and they could go to the market to borrow tens of mils, and come together to agree to begin shorting and make money together.\n\nFor a SEC regulated firm, taking tens of mil to manipulate market is so easily done, and they make more than what they spend.  If you think that's out of touch, you should know their marketing budget that goes to the bin is tens of mil alone.  After an extreme amount of market manipulation, here are 2 things come to mind:\n\n1) If there's nothing happened to them, time and time again, that's probably why there needs real decentralisation in the first place, and to remove influences of these people/firm.  If they even get burnt once, they will begin to behave differently.  However, who can pick them out?  They are probably more friendly with regulators than you think, so regulators will never do anything to them.  So the market needs to achieve real decentralisation to make sure no one entity or even groups of entity can do the manipulation.  This is what actually happened to the currency market today as we know it.\n\n2) Since real decentralisation can not be achieved overnight, and fewer participants in this kind of market conditions will hinder the decentralisation timeline, maybe the only thing crypto investors can do is to leave the most highly manipulated cryptocurrencies, and let these people/firms play themselves?\n\nWhat are your thoughts?
