      "body": "I had good intentions to create this steemit account a few years back and make regular posts. Life, however, took some unexpected turns - I was a single mother to newborn twins and an older child for the best part of the first year. \n\nInitially I had some help from a friend, but that friendship ended quite suddenly and unexpectedly after 20 years leaving me in a very dark place. \n\nI had two losses that I would never have seen coming, and I am not ashamed to say that it knocked me on my arse for a long time. \n\nRaising three children by myself was challenging to say the least, but despite many tears and tantrums, we survived that dark era of my journey. Suffering with Bipolar and BPD makes situations like this even more difficult to deal with.\n\nAfter about a year of survival, I got back in touch with an old mate of mine - he was actually my first boyfriend! I loved him so much when I was a teenager, I had the biggest crush on him back then! We had remained friends and exchanged the occasional message over the years.\n\nWhen we met up again, it was amazing! We both fell in love with each other very apparently and although we have had some turbulence along the way, we have built a truly wonderful relationship and family together.\n\nI feel recently that I have turned a corner for the better though, and I am getting much more tuned in to my spiritual awareness whilst continuing to educate myself and my beautiful children.",

      "body": "It has been an adventure that's for sure. Since the birth of my beautiful children, life has just been a relentless blur. It is not bad, just difficult - impossible at times, but always worth even the darkest of days.\n\n\nI have seen people behave in ways I never imagined they were capable of - both good and bad. I have experienced the real torture of sleep deprivation whilst always keeping the children alive and happy. \n\nMy intentions to build my Steemit profile were postponed and another adventure has taken a place in my life alongside parenting - I have started a business working closely with the franchises within a network where I was previously employed. I would love to have more time, money and energy to throw at it, but life is taking its own pace as I will not be missing out on seeing my babies be babies to satisfy finances. \n\nSlow and steady wins the race.....",

The different facial expressions and bodily noises that they make both melt my heart and have me laughing and smiling a lot!\n\nMegan weighed in at 4lb 9oz and Oscar was 5lb 2oz. They were born by C-section with just a little complication at the beginning when Megan was tangled in her cord. They were both taken to special care but only for a short while, less than half an hour. \n\nOver the following 48 hours Oscar lost 13% of his birth weight and Megan lost 11% of hers. I had to stay in hospital a few days until I had produced enough breast milk to allow them to gain weight. At 10 days old they had both exceeded their original birth weights! \n\n![file__storage_3063-6132_DCIM_Camera_IMG_20180530_101509 (1).jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcrUFU4WDdJKLhVrhiyapB6CZvLKEaDjYhx9yfGew1uAY/file__storage_3063-6132_DCIM_Camera_IMG_20180530_101509%20(1).jpg)\n\nIt has not always been easy looking after two newborn babies at the same time twenty-four hours a day, I am on my own with the twins and my other son who is nine. He tries to help out, he is so lovely. I am lucky enough to have a good network of friends who I can comfortably ask for help when needed. I had a proper sleep a few weeks ago (More than 5 hours) when Candy (Mummykins) and Bird came over and did the night shift with the babies for me!\n\nTwo nights ago the twins BOTH slept from 11:30pm through until 5:00am - this was such an achievement, it was followed by a joint 11:30pm - 5:30am again last night.\n\n![IMG_20180519_111709.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQkvmGuiNhvcbAnsU3x9ukBrvE9LN97tpkyGkBhATAspa/IMG_20180519_111709.jpg)\n\nWe went to London today to visit Lynn. She is a friend of Candy's who I have not met until today - a really lovely lady. She had a beautiful little bungalow neatly hidden between other buildings in Islington. The ground where it was built upon twenty years ago used to be an orchard so there was some really well established trees in her courtyard garden. It was so quiet you could hear the birds and no traffic noise. I could not believe I was just a stones throw away from Essex Road!\n\nOn the journey home I encountered an insane poo explosion from Megan! It was savage.       "body": "I would like to have updated more frequently than I have done so to this pregnancy journal, however I have mainly been held back by a huge lack of motivation and energy due to all the pregnancy-related sickness. \n\nAs the day of their birth approaches rapidly (All booked in for C-Section 15th May) - I find myself feeling ready for this now. I can not wait to meet the twins! \n\nI also can not wait to no longer be in pain and discomfort accompanied with the inability to control my bodily functions with which there is not usually any issue controlling!!\n\nI have had a lot of compliments on my bump which is nice. Above all, I have been so lucky to have such a wonderful network of friends and family supporting me through this. My son is being fantastic and I have no doubts that he will be am enormous help to me over the coming months. \n\nThe boy is no longer breech and they both seem to be fighting for pole position of the birth canal. You can actually see foot heels and bum shapes through my tummy as they are now fighting for room. \n\nSo now we wait..... until nature sends labour my way or the 15th May comes first!
