      "body": "Bible Study\n\nTopic: OBEDIENCE - KEY TO PROSPERITY.\n\nText: Deuteronomy 28:1-end.\n\n\nMemory Verse: And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require from thee, but to fear the Lord, to walk the commandment of the Lord, and His statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? (Deut. 10:12-13).\n\n\nIntroduction. \nFrom the text, Deut. 28:1-2, the word “IF” is a conditional word. The covenantal blessings of God for His people are based on the condition of OBEDIENCE. In the Garden of Eden, God gave man the condition for his continued stay in the garden. In the same vein, as God gradually led Israel to possess the Promised Land, He didn't hesitate to highlight the conditions for their continued possession of the land. God commands us to fully obey Him, not turning aside from any of His commands. God expects total, not selective obedience.\n\n\nWHAT IS OBEDIENCE? \nObedience simply means total compliance to a command or order.\n\n\nWHAT IS KEY?\nIt is an opener or an object designed for locking and unlocking.\n\n\nWHAT IS PROSPERITY? \nIt is a state of being prosperous or a state of being successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial aspect; and having good fortune.\nProsperity and financial breakthrough are not only the product of prayer but also products of obedience to God.\n\n\nSOME OF THE COMMANDS OF GOD ON PROSPERITY\n♣ Meditating on God’s word. Joshua 1:8\n♣ Praying to God for positive turn around.  Matthew 7:11, Jeremiah 29:11-14.\n♣ Putting God first.  Deuteronomy 8:18.\n♣ Offering. II Corinthians 9:7.\n♣ Contribution to the growth of God’s work. Haggai 1:8-9.\n♣ Paying tithe: Tithe is a portion that belongs to God from your income. It is the 10% of one’s income. The issue of tithe is a command from God that must be obeyed and followed for properity to come our way (Malachi 3:10).\n♣ Giving.  Matthew 25:34-46, Deuteronomy 15:100,  Luke 6:38, Proverbs 19:17. This is another crucial part that brings prosperity from God to man. God cannot be seen physically, but His representatives are all round us. \n\n\nBENEFITS OF OBEDIENCE\n★Divine security. Deuteronomy 28:7-8.\n★ Abundant all-round prosperity and continued stay in the Promised Land. Deuteronomy 28:8-12.\n★ Headship in all things. Deuteronomy 28:13.\n★ Immeasurable blessings. Malachi 3:12.\n★ Divine breakthrough and God's support. Malachi 3:11.\n\n\nCONSEQUENCE OF DISOBEDIENCE.\n☆ Departure of God’s presence. I Samuel 13:1-14.\n☆ Personal disaster. Deuteronomy 28:16-22, 27-35.\n☆ Ecological disaster. Deuteronomy 28:23-24.\n☆ Shameful defeat. Deuteronomy 28:25-26.\n☆Being kicked out of the Promised Land. Deuteronomy 28:36-38.\n☆ Captivity. Your body is the temple of God, therefore, it must be used and always function for God use.   \n\n2. It displays the wealth and beauty of God\nKing Solomon built the tabernacle of God with precious, golden and expensive materials to demonstrate God’s Glory [II Chronicles 2vs 1-7]. God has already created us perfectly in His own image [Psalms 139 vs 14, Genesis 1vs 26]. We are made to display God’s Glory. You don’t need to sugar to honey before it get sweet , therefore God’s temple does not need to be painted with any makeup(s) or crayon(s) before you display God’s Glory.\n\n3.  It is a special place.\nThe presence of God in any building makes it special. Therefore, if you are not filled with the spirit of God you are not yet a Temple of a living God  \n\n4. it is designed as a permanent facility\nThe Tabernacle was daily used. It was built to last for some times but  forever.
