Not just a system but the established system through which God operates in this age. We saw that Christ established this system by fulfilling the law. So he is the basis and foundation of the system of grace.\nWhat are the operating dynamics of this system what is the standard of grace. To go into this I would like to point out that,Law yields fear and death, grace yields faith and life. Let me say that the wages of Grace is life. So what is the proper application of grace and is there an abuse of grace.I hear some people talk of extreme grace preachers. I personally believe that the word extreme puts a boundary to grace.I don't preach extreme grace I preach exceeding grace, I do not believe that there is a limit to the grace of God. So the question then what stops people from sinning continually or living their life without regard for God. Before we answer that, what is sin?I will simply define sin as choosing your own opinion or the devils opinion on an issue over God's own. So you once you have taken the decision in your heart it is sin, even before you carry it out. Remember that God looks on the heart. With that definition we see that many things we think are just normal is sin as far as God is concerned. Good news Jesus died for all sins whether commited or yet to be.So once you accept Him(Gods love) God no longer sees you as a sinner. Then comes the question can you truly love someone and keep on consciously and intentionally go against the person. Anyone will question your love for the person. Even you,and that is where your heart condemns you. Your heart, not God. God still loves you even when you sin because He doesn't see you He sees the sacrifice of Christ which you have accepted. The blood of Jesus washed you clean and no sin is stronger than that blood. Yes you will sin, but Christ died for it. You should not let that sin stop you from approaching the throne of grace with confidence. I don't pray to God to forgive my sins, he has already judged and punished Jesus for my sins it would be unfair of him to punish me again. Yes, I am saying our Father in heaven does not punish His children for sin. What happens is that when you sin the devil comes and condemns you and points out to that sin and you feel ashamed and fearful ( Remember that fear is the opposite of faith and without faith it is impossible to please God) So he kills your faith, and that stops you from receiving from the Lord. Sometimes its not the devil but our hearts condemning us because of the the knowledge of sin that came as a result of the law. God is as pleased with you as ever there is a level in your relationship with God where you are no longer conscious of sin. Instead you remain conscious of the fact that Christ has died for your sins once and for all(Heb 9:2) This is necessary to have boldness to approach the throne of grace to obtain mercy and grace in the time of need (Heb 4:16). \nSo what then is the standard of grace. Its simply realizing that God doesn't look at you or treat based on your flaws, errors or shortcomings. Then on your part because of your love for God and in appreciation of what Jesus has done you live to please God, and serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus. \nI'm gonna take this a step further. Its basic knowledge that God judges intentions not actions. That's why you might think someone is living a godly life and in the eyes of God the person is a hypocrite. If someone offers you a drink and normally you will accept that drink(in your heart you have even accepted it), but so that the person will not say you have backslidden(whatever that means)you reject the drink you are a hypocrite. On the same vain if you see taking that drink as something wrong(based in your knowledge and understanding of God). But because you want to fit into the crowd you are also a hypocrite. Does it mean that if you don't drink at all you are better than those who do? No, it just means that your health is so important to you that you won't want to jeopardize it by consuming alcohol .Does this then mean you can drink yourself to stupidity, do you think Jesus will approve of that? You need to have an understanding of God for yourself. That's why I strongly emphasize a personal relationship with God as the solution to not getting mislead or deceived. When you have this in place you then have  strong convictions based on your personal knowledge of God and His Word.This applies also to dressing, God is not interested in your outward appearance as much as he is interested in your motive for looking that way. If you are comfortable in a certain dresstyle and your motive for looking that way is straight, then feel free.  But if you like wear an overflow 3 skirt or a trouser so large you look like a walking parachute. So that people will think you are \"holier than all\" your motive is wrong and it is sin, because you are thinking of yourself more highly than you ought to (Rom12:3), not because of the way you appear but your motive for appearing that way. Look good you represent Christ well when people want to look like you. Decency to me is simply not dressing with the intent of drawing unnecessary attention. Either because you look so shabby and unkempt. Or because you are so unnecessarily flamboyant or you wear a dress that makes people distracted and wonder if your tailor was done before you collected it, and when you do all of the above intentionally. Maintain a balance that makes people appreciate the way God created you. If we are children of God we should represent him well. Our Lord looked so good that hardened Roman soldiers gambled for his clothes they wanted to look like him. There are many other issues but I just picked these two issues, if you have questions go and meet God with them, go to His Word for your answers.\nTo maintain this standard of grace you need to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. He will give you the right approach to things. He will also keep you from being misled. Don't let another mans conscience be the judge of your freedom.(1cor 10:29) Finally what might be sin to me might be ok for you and vice versa, not because God has a varying standard of sin but because we do not all have the same knowledge of God. That's why Paul speaking in Rom 14:23 said whatever is not out of faith is sin( to that person because the person is in a state of doubt in their heart). God deals with everyone on a personal level. Its good to look up to people but first know what God is doing in your life as a person. We tend to set standards for ourselves that God did not set for us. This standards put a burden on us and we struggle in our Christian race this should not be so, Our Lord speaking in Matt 11:28-30 said \" Come unto me all of you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give rest, Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls,For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.\" Isn't that wonderful. I love to say that flexing is for us children of God,yes we are the ones that know what real enjoyment is. If you can't say the same then you need to go back to God and ask Him where you got it wrong. Does this mean there are no standards for us to maintain of course there are but all of those standards are for our own benefits. Our flesh may (most certainly will)rebel against those standards but in the end we stand to gain a lot from maintaining those standards. God is a loving Father. He never leads us in harms way. Whatever he does is for our own good.  Amen. Have you mixed Gods grace with a little law here and there, then its time you go to God and ask Him to straighten it out. You do this through prayer and study of the word both with the ever present help of the Holy Spirit. In fact it has become a cliché. We have thrown away the true value of grace. Before defining grace its important to establish that grace is not just a possibility of obtaining anything from God. It is THE possibility of receiving anything from Him it is the only way. Its simply the realization that Christ has done it all. When he said it is finished. He meant it, or could he have lied with his dying breath? So we are not getting God to do anything we just condition our hearts to receive what our Lord has already provided. That is where faith comes in. Faith does not move God, it moves mountains. Simply put, your faith cannot move God to do what his grace has not provided for. Good news is that his grace is sufficient for you. Its that grace when accepted that makes you righteous not anything you do or dont do. Grace is all Christ has done to save, heal, deliver and prosper you, and yes my Lord has done everything.\nGrace is manifested in three dimensions. Call it the trinity of Grace.\nGrace a System.\nGrace a Standard.\nGarce a Spirit.\nThe system of grace has to do with the operations of grace. It basically has to do with the functions and operations of grace as contrasted to the former system which was the law. In the system of the law,when God told Moses to pour water on the ground(earth) it turned to blood.In the system of grace when Jesus tells the servants at the wedding to pour water in the earthly vessels it turned into wine. Something that gave pleasure to everyone. As opposed to the first wonder that left people thirsty. Let me stop here to explain, in case you did not know Moses was a symbol of Jesus our deliverer. The Israelites where a symbol of us Christians. Just as they where chosen by God for salvation by grace(Through the faith of our father Abraham). even before they born into bondage so where we(Eph 1:4-6). Egypt was a symbol of the world system that held us bondage. For we where slaves to sin. Pharoah was a symbol of Satan. Now get that when they where taken out they did not immediately find themselves in the promised land(Remember that Jesus also promised us a land where the streets are paved with gold and erryone gat his mansion).Instead they found themselves in the wilderness which was a system that represents our lives as believers here on earth. In this system we look up to our heavenly Father for provision (Manna and quail) the Holy Spirit for guidance (Pillar cloud  by day and fire by night, Ex13:21). Jesus is our mediator, intercessor and High Priest (Moses and Aaron). \nI do not want to expand much on the Law but it always becomes a necessity when discussing Grace. The law as a system points at all you should do to obtain righteousness ( or all you can never do). It was a necessity because people needed to know they needed a Saviour. When you come to this realization and accept the saviour. you are set free from the system of the law. This is where we have missed it cause we try to hold on to Law and Grace which is typical to adultery. Paul gave a wonderful allegory in Galatians 4. I will paraphrase it here. Abraham the father of faith had first had Ishmael(Law). Who was a result of anticipation of the child of promise Isaac(Grace). In verse 29 of the same chapter he made this point\"But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now\". This explains the concept of why when we try to embrace Grace we still find ourselves still falling guilty of the condemnation and guilt of the Law. The solution is to cast  out the child of the bondwoman (Law). As Ishmael was cast out. Then nurture the child of promise(Grace). We need the help of the Holy Spirit to accomplish this. This system is totally different from the former system. Next we will be looking at the standard of Grace. For now go over this with the help of the precious Holy Spirit ask him to make this truths yours.The working principle of the system is  this Grace and blessings come upon me that the law may fulfill itself. For Christ fulfilled the whole law and therefore was entitled to all the blessings attached when he took on my nature he took all my curses. And since I have taken on his nature I take all his blessings. Remain blessed",

He was perfect in all standards. He did not tell a single lie, not even one for 33 years. Picture Him in his father's capentery shop. Joseph says\" Jesus make sure you finish this piece of furniture before I'm back from Capernaum\" and never once did He fail to deliver. He carried out given instructions to the letter.Now remember sin is not measured by man's standard but by God's standard and God looks not at the outward appearance of a man but at his heart. That is to say Jesus never for once entertained one angry thought. Not one mischevious or naughty thought. He never even thought  about sinning. Not even His junior brothers could get Him angry. He never treated any of them unfairly. Throughout His teenage years He was never rebellious at His parents. He never even thought of lying. He never said what he didnt mean.(Yes he never joked he always meant what he said)I mean this guy was perfect in all standards. He literally prayed without ceasing, wow!. If you don't believe this then you don't believe He was blameless. It also means you don't believe He was a worthy Lamb. \nPicture Jesus as He went up the mountain to meditate, His imaginations never went vain. He will pray for people who had set Himself up to be His enemies. He loved them with all His heart. The Pharisees and teachers of the law didn't know that standing in front of them was the only reason their \"keeping\" of Mosaic Law could be of any significance. They persecuted Him and tempted Him. Looking for ways to make Him sin.Yet them He rebuked them in love.(O the foolishness of man the creator of the universe was in their midst but thier hearts where to hardened for them to perceive, much like what is still happening today) The Bible says anything done outside faith is sin. That is to say from His very first miracle to the last He never entertained doubt or unbelief. Not even a shadow of doubt. He did not utter one more word than He was commanded by His Father to do, for that would have been sin. He did the right thing at the right time every single time. Anything short of this standard would have been sin. I can imaging how amazed the disciples where for those three years being so close to Him and yet they never saw Him make a single mistake. Jesus from adolescence to adulthood never looked at a woman with lust. Not even once. Here He was after successfully maintaining this standard of perfection every single day for 33years he was about to die. I don't know if you have ever been struck for something you didn't do before, but I have and I can assure you there is a sudden surge of anger that flows through the veins towards the person meting out the punishment. With Jesus it was love flowing in His veins even with the full knowledge that He was one making it possible for that soldier to go to heaven. He was about to die for all the sins those men ever committed and yet, here they were mocking Him. His heart was still burning with love towards them. When He said Father forgive them for they know not what they do, I imagine a delibration going on in heaven as to whether the sins of these ungrateful people be included in the salvation package, and as the Love of the father hung on that cross, He says Father yes include them, I created them also, I love them as much as I love Myself( My simple paraphrase). Now not just anger but also fear, For fear is sin. Imagine a spear is about to be driven into your side and there is no iota of fear in you, remember that Jesus felt pain as much as anyone did. He was as human as you are. Visualize Those terrible looking Roman whips as every lash hit Him there was no fear of the next lash, His heart was full of love towards those cruel demon possessed soldiers. They put a spike on your hand and they are about to nail it to a cross yet there is no fear. Now after the first hand is nailed they put a spike on the next and there still is no fear in anticipation of the next spike being driven through your hand. The both of your legs are crossed together and still no iota of fear. Talk of a willing Lamb. So every single time he did right every single time he did not sin it was a conscious decision. The moment he sinned the whole universe would have self destructed( Believe me I have found Someone to worship for the rest of my life). Because then God would have sinned or simply put God would be  imperfect. And since God is perfect Love the moment He sinned He will no longer be perfect Love. He would have ceased to be God. Call the biggest gamble ever. God put His existence on the line to save us.  The Bible speaking about Jesus in Hebrews 1:2 said :Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power. It was vital to both heaven and earth that Jesus maintained a standard of perfection. The worlds as we know them would have ceased to exist if Jesus sinned. Yet He was perfect to the end.  And when he said it is finished , He meant it He had paid for the sins of the whole world from the time of Adam to the last child that will ever be born. All He asks is you accept him that's all. Believe and receive.He has paid for every sin you  have ever committed or can ever think of committing The only sin that will send you to Hell is rejecting such perfect Love. I make bold to say that anyone who rejects such pure unconditional Love is not only a fool but deserves to go to Hell. Jesus put himself through all this put the balance of the universe on the line so that you and I can be with Him forever. Then you reject it. If I was God I will send such a person to a place more terrible than Hell although I doubt there is such a place. Please accept that Love today. Its all you have been looking for.",

In Heb. 11:6 we see that without faith it is impossible to please God. Verse 31 of the first book of Genesis shows us that God was pleased with his work. It is then obvious that faith was required for creation. So then what is faith\n\"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.\" Heb 11:1\nIsn't that perfect,God had to believe that what He said comes to pass.He had to picture creation. Faith is more than just saying and believing it also involves you picturing what you are believing in its manifested form. Its easier for us because we have images for basically everything we believe for. But God had no previous image to look at. Before God created trees there where no trees. How did he know what a tree was going to look like. That's where my precious Holy Spirit comes in. He is the inspiration behind creation. Wow! Now imagine having the inspiration that created the universe on the inside of you.\n Now get this ,the way your mind works is you use words to form pictures and then pictures to form words. Ok its like this I see a girl and tell her you are beautiful, immediately what happens is that she sees herself as beautiful, a picture is formed in her mind, which makes her smile (if she accepts that image). And then if she is cultured she will respond by saying thank you. Hope you got that. Now the Holy spirit first formed an image which is what happened in Gen 1:1, then using that image he formed words which when accepted by the Father and uttered by the Son(Word) gave birth to a physical image. You see that every word uttered by the Father is inspired by the spirit. But in my first illustration remember I saw the girl and what happened is that I compared her to an already formed standard of beauty in my mind. That's why someone might look beautiful to one person and the same person is not appealing to another. After I ascertained her beautiful I then uttered the words. We start to see the power of words. The holy spirit had no image to look at, How did He do it?? I was talking to someone the other day and I said this is the height of intelligence. I love his reply, He said its more than intelligence. It was wisdom. Which leads us to Proverbs 8: 24 where wisdom speaking said \"When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.\" This clearly shows us that wisdom was conceived by the Holy Spirit,before verse 2 of Genesis 1. So the Holy spirit then used wisdom to form the image of creation Proverbs 8:23 confirms this.\"I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.\" So we see that the Trinity was completely involved in creation. The Spirit conceived the image the Father had faith in the image and by the Son spoke what he saw. Thereby bringing into existence everything we can see. You might have questions like then why was Jesus praying to God, why could he look up to heaven and see God And then how comes he is seated on the right hand side of God.Its amazing that we don't doubt the omnipresence  or omnipotence of God but we fail to apply it properly.( I was guilty of this until God showed me.) Do you believe that its the same  God that is in New York and Lagos at the same time? If yes then you believe that the same God is at two locations at the same time.Or God is on earth and on earth. So when Jesus was on earth it was the same God that was on earth that was in heaven.Or God was in heaven and on earth at the same time. Then let's take it a step further he is seated on the right hand side of God. If God can be on earth and on earth, and if he can be in heaven and on earth, Then what stops him from being in heaven and in heaven.\nThen if God is his word and God is love. \nWe see that Gods Word is love\nWord= love\nSo then if God lies, his word will not be true or better still his Love will not be true. \nBut then God is love and if that love is not true then God is a lie. In simpler terms the day God lies he will cease to exist. I know that was a lot but do go over it till you see it. So Gods word can never lie if God said it, its true.\nCreation is the perfect place to start our look into true love(Agape). Its nice to establish that The old testament uses natural things to explain spiritual concepts. The new testament uses spiritual concepts to explain natural things.We have earlier explained that Jesus was Gods love sent to die for our sins, and because God is love, when you accept that love(Christ) you accept Gods nature which is love. Then it goes on to show us that even though the WORD was a distinct personality(Christ). That Word was still God(Love). Vs. 3 Shows us clearly that everything was made by that word, and with that word.This is confirmed in Heb.1:2 \"(God)Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.\" This takes us to Genesis where as earlier stated God uses natural things to explain spiritual concepts.
