bodyOscar Nominees and Predictions for 2018 2017 was a well dressed year for film in both changing it up with original stories and remakes of real life tales as well. Granted my favorite and most likely to deserve the award for picture of the year is without a doubt "The Disaster Artist". However due to James Franco's recent accusations made against him just before this year's nominees were announced he was snubbed for both Best Picture, Director and Oscar Nominations. If we had left hearsay and gossip mixed with slander left at the wayside without blinding our views then clearly we could see how The Disaster Artist more than likely would have swept. The reason being that this truly was the Best Picture of the year but apparently once again politics have outweighed logic in Hollywood, omitting this year's finest film. Suffice it to say that The Academy typically allow their hearts to be played by politics we still have nominees that tell tale of objectified women such as two true stories about the abuse and murders of women. First is "I, Tanya" where a young woman's life was destroyed along with her dream of being an Olympic skating gold medalist. Yet no matter how sad and devastatingly accurate this real life chilling tale was turned into somewhat of a dark comedy. Maybe funny if your dreams as a young woman were not shattered along with your leg. We also have "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri" AKA "Three Billboards" where a woman comes next to breaking the law after the unsolved murder of her daughter goes seemingly unnoticed. Granted only the latter of the two films were nominated for best picture it still seems a bit ironic in Hollywood's current dilemma of sexual misconduct against women to have two nominated movies about the plight that women face and have faced for centuries. Best Picture Granted this category is still filled with some amazing films such as; "The Shape Of Water", "Get Out", "Call Me By Your Name", "Darkest Hour", "Lady Bird", "Dunkirk", "The Post" and "Three Billboards" it is difficult to say but with its 13 different nominations I would not be surprised to see "The Shape Of Water" take this category. Namely due to the fact that this film takes something completely non-relatable and turns it into your best friend's dilemma. This was no easy feat and its winning best picture against this great list of films will be just that. Yet it is my first prediction pic for Best Picture. Best Actor Although The Academy loves to praise Daniel Day-Lewis I believe that this year will either go big or go home. I would not be surprised if Daniel Kaluuya wins for his chilling performance in "Get Out", still many of us yearn to see a long-time household name take the category this year. For years Gary Oldman has been overlooked for his excellent character acting in such films as "Sid and Nancy", "True Romance" and "The Fifth Element" just to name a few I believe that he will take home the Oscar for Best Actor this year for his performance in "Darkest Hour". Best Actress It is never fun to go up some of the biggest names in Hollywood such as Meryl Streep or Francis McDormand, this year to me looks like a close toss-up between Sally Hawkins "The Shape Of Water" and Margot Robbie for her hauntingly accurate yet comedic qualities as she plays Tanya Harding to perfection in "I, Tanya". Still it will be a close call I believe Robbie deserves the spot after an alarmingly good and accurate portrayal of Harding. Best Supporting Actor Here we are once again with Woody Harrelson up against his co-star for "Three Billboards" Sam Rockwell. Rockwell has already won a Grammy for this performance but is an Oscar win on top of that a bit too much for too little of acting? Personally I think just a tad bit and as much as I am a Sam Rockwell fan I could easily see the aging underrated Richard Jenkins taking home the award for "The Shape of Water" although it is beyond me why Michael Shannon was not nominated in this category for his role in the same film. All that I can conclude after best guess is that Shannon would have swept the award and The Academy wants to give Jenkins a shot. After all it may be a bit much to pin four great actor's together for two films, albeit how excellent the acting/films are. Best Supporting Actress No doubt Octavia Spencer was dynamic and added a sense of realism to a very unrealistic film in "The Shape of Water", but is it Oscar worthy? Mary J Blige's soulful character in Mudbound" is compelling, but does Netflix yet have what it takes to compete with blockbuster films? Probably not. That said Allison Janney was a strong crutch in a very unusual dark comedic sense in "I, Tonya" much like that of which I have never seen before on screen, therefore Janney is my guess for this category. Best Director Chris Nolan really brought his A game on this war piece. Still I found Dunkirk to be a bit too fast paced and rushed through acts almost to the point where the main character and story were shot out of the sky only to plummet toward a tailspin of a water landing nose first. Granted Jordan Peele gives all nominees a run for their money I think that he is more favored on the original screenplay category where Guillermo del Toro is more suited for this award for what he did with "The Shape Of Water". Best Original Screenplay While we have several great contenders in this area we need to think originality that is easy to watch. A film so palatable for all that it truly was the talk of 2017 that spilled over into conversations nation wide into 2018. This film is "Get Out". Jordan Peele really showed us his diverse range in this particular film. If he does not win I will be surprised. Best Adapted Screenplay I am hoping that despite allegations made against Franco that due to the complex nature of this film and having to work with Tommy Wiseau in an adaptive process this award hands down goes to Scott Neustadter for "The Disaster Artist". Although Aaron Sorkin is a great screenwriter he has already proven that with "Molly's Game" being his directorial debut he fell short. Mostly with the over-usage of voiceover narratives. In closing I will not cover every category just as the ceremony does not air each one but in summary it looks like "Dunkirk" for Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing "Three Billboards", Best Sound Editing "Baby Driver", Best Sound Mixing "Baby Driver", Best Animated "Coco", Best Production Design "Beauty and the Beast", and Best Original Score Hans Zimmer for "Dunkirk" and Best Original Song "Mighty River" from "Mudbound". Until then, we will see you at The Oscar's as we watch The Academy Awards turn 90! -- Kyle Manfre

"body": "Oscar Nominees and Predictions for 2018\n\n\n2017 was a well dressed year for film in both changing it up with original stories and remakes of real life tales as well. Granted my favorite and most likely to deserve the award for picture of the year is without a doubt \"The Disaster Artist\". \n\nSuffice it to say that The Academy typically allow their hearts to be played by politics we still have nominees that tell tale of objectified women such as two true stories about the abuse and murders of women. First is \"I, Tanya\" where a young woman's life was destroyed along with her dream of being an Olympic skating gold medalist. Yet no matter how sad and devastatingly accurate this real life chilling tale was turned into somewhat of a dark comedy. Maybe funny if your dreams as a young woman were not shattered along with your leg. We also have \"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri\" AKA \"Three Billboards\" where a woman comes next to breaking the law after the unsolved murder of her daughter goes seemingly unnoticed. Granted only the latter of the two films were nominated for best picture it still seems a bit ironic in Hollywood's current dilemma of sexual misconduct against women to have two nominated movies about the plight that women face and have faced for centuries.\n \nBest Picture\n\nGranted this category is still filled with some amazing films such as; \"The Shape Of Water\", \"Get Out\", \"Call Me By Your Name\", \"Darkest Hour\", \"Lady Bird\", \"Dunkirk\", \"The Post\" and \"Three Billboards\" it is difficult to say but with its 13 different nominations I would not be surprised to see \"The Shape Of Water\" take this category. Namely due to the fact that this film takes something completely non-relatable and turns it into your best friend's dilemma. This was no easy feat and its winning best picture against this great list of films will be just that. Yet it is my first prediction pic for Best Picture. \n\nBest Actor\n\nAlthough The Academy loves to praise Daniel Day-Lewis I believe that this year will either go big or go home. I would not be surprised if Daniel Kaluuya wins for his chilling performance in \"Get Out\", still many of us yearn to see a long-time household name take the category this year. For years Gary Oldman has been overlooked for his excellent character acting in such films as \"Sid and Nancy\", \"True Romance\" and \"The Fifth Element\" just to name a few I believe that he will take home the Oscar for Best Actor this year for his performance in \"Darkest Hour\".\n \nBest Actress\n\nIt is never fun to go up some of the biggest names in Hollywood such as Meryl Streep or Francis McDormand, this year to me looks like a close toss-up between Sally Hawkins \"The Shape Of Water\" and Margot Robbie for her hauntingly accurate yet comedic qualities as she plays Tanya Harding to perfection in \"I, Tanya\". Still it will be a close call I believe Robbie deserves the spot after an alarmingly good and accurate portrayal of Harding.\n\nBest Supporting Actor\n\nHere we are once again with Woody Harrelson up against his co-star for \"Three Billboards\" Sam Rockwell. Rockwell has already won a Grammy for this performance but is an Oscar win on top of that a bit too much for too little of acting? Personally I think just a tad bit and as much as I am a Sam Rockwell fan I could easily see the aging underrated Richard Jenkins taking home the award for \"The Shape of Water\" although it is beyond me why Michael Shannon was not nominated in this category for his role in the same film. All that I can conclude after best guess is that Shannon would have swept the award and The Academy wants to give Jenkins a shot. After all it may be a bit much to pin four great actor's together for two films, albeit how excellent the acting/films are.\n\nBest Supporting Actress\n\nNo doubt Octavia Spencer was dynamic and added a sense of realism to a very unrealistic film in \"The Shape of Water\", but is it Oscar worthy? Mary J Blige's soulful character in Mudbound\" is compelling, but does Netflix yet have what it takes to compete with blockbuster films? Probably not. That said Allison Janney was a strong crutch in a very unusual dark comedic sense in \"I, Tonya\" much like that of which I have never seen before on screen, therefore Janney is my guess for this category. \n\nBest Director \n\nChris Nolan really brought his A game on this war piece. Still I found Dunkirk to be a bit too fast paced and rushed through acts almost to the point where the main character and story were shot out of the sky only to plummet toward a tailspin of a water landing nose first. Granted Jordan Peele gives all nominees a run for their money I think that he is more favored on the original screenplay category where Guillermo del Toro is more suited for this award for what he did with \"The Shape Of Water\". \n\nBest Original Screenplay \n\nWhile we have several great contenders in this area we need to think originality that is easy to watch. A film so palatable for all that it truly was the talk of 2017 that spilled over into conversations nation wide into 2018. This film is \"Get Out\". Jordan Peele really showed us his diverse range in this particular film. If he does not win I will be surprised.\n\nBest Adapted Screenplay I am hoping that despite allegations made against Franco that due to the complex nature of this film and having to work with Tommy Wiseau in an adaptive process this award hands down goes to Scott Neustadter for \"The Disaster Artist\". Although Aaron Sorkin is a great screenwriter he has already proven that with \"Molly's Game\" being his directorial debut he fell short. Mostly with the over-usage of voiceover narratives. \n\nIn closing I will not cover every category just as the ceremony does not air each one but in summary it looks like \"Dunkirk\" for Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing \"Three Billboards\", Best Sound Editing \"Baby Driver\", Best Sound Mixing \"Baby Driver\", Best Animated \"Coco\", Best Production Design \"Beauty and the Beast\", and Best Original Score Hans Zimmer for \"Dunkirk\" and Best Original Song \"Mighty River\" from \"Mudbound\". bodyAs of late you may wind up in the midst of the night in a cold sweat after awakening from a horrendous nightmare perhaps left scratching your chin asking yourself aloud some questions about current America. Why are statues which are a fundamental part of American ideals being uprooted? Why do we continue to decimate American culture? How can so many feel so entitled without due cause? Well folks, perhaps I can help shed some light onto these questions for you that keep you awake or stir you in the depths of your slumber. In most recent hours Robert E. Lee's statue in Dallas was removed from their city park. Other statues, such as saints one incident in Los Angeles County where a Native American saint statue of St. Junipero Serra was vandalized, tainted with graffiti and swastika drawings, just across the street from The San Fernando Mission in Mission Hills, CA. in the San Fernando Valley. St. Serra passed away in 1784 after years of a selfless service to God and a devote life having started over a dozen Catholic missions in California from as far North as San Francisco to Southern California's San Diego. Supporters of such terror state claims that agitated them saying that there was segregation between converted Native American's and those who were not yet converted. Perhaps in the 1700's the non-believers were kept apart from those with faith to avoid conflict and battles to the death within the safe confines of the missions. St. Serra is defended by the Catholic Church's current Pope Francis before the incident occurred back in 2015 stating, "St. Serra sought to defend the dignity of the native community, to protect it from those who had mistreated and abused it," at St. Serra's canonization into being acknowledged as a saint. Shortly after still now back in 2015 thugs hit a mission in Carmel California destroying grave sites and statues due to the fact that those grounds are the final place of rest for St. Serra. Many other missions across the California coast have been struck and vandalized in the last two years because St. Serra was controversial. Controversy is sparked by every great leader in history. Abraham Lincoln aided to free African American's in the efforts to abolish slavery with his Emancipation Proclamation issued on September 22nd of 1862. In his proclamation President Lincoln stated that all slaves shall be "forever free" effective January 1st of 1863. Was this controversial enough? Well, enough to get him assassinated. Still some of these ignorant fools want to remove the Lincoln Monument in Washington. Perhaps they plan on replacing his head with that of an gorilla as in the "Planet of the Apes" franchise of film. Point being that any great and powerful movement toward the embitterment of humanity comes with its ridicule and critiques. Anything found contemptuous comes with its own form of condemnation, no matter how righteous the act being judged. Just last month the Lincoln monument was also vandalized with graffiti that read, "F**k law". Perhaps these folks need to learn how to respect and abide by laws rather than violating the rules and conduct codes of this great country. While these anarchist misanthropes are at it maybe they could pause for a moment and visit a library to do something other than vandalize it. Maybe these morons might even read a book or two and know all of the facts without jumping the gun to destruction of property. Ignorance begets ignorance oh and what a blissful culture that these fools cultivate for themselves. These anarchists have, in doing such actions, not only defiled statues and monuments yet morally have upset and have been found offensive to law enforcement, government officials, African Americans, members of the Catholic Church, men and women of the U.S. military and educated historians alike. It would seem that hate crimes committed by Neanderthals are all of the rage these days despite the extinction of the aforementioned barbarians some 40,000 years ago. All across our falling, once great nation, morons and fools of men are removing statues deemed "offensive" by the masses. The question now is; how do we justify this to the educated few American's who are now faced with these disrespectful, illegal, immoral and derogatory acts of vandalism? Sadly the answer for many in recent months has been to remove any statue that may be found offensive by some folks whose minds are as closed as the books that they never cared to open in order to educate themselves on American history. Now back to our most recent outrageous gesture as Americans we have removed the statues of Robert Edward Lee. Lee was a man born into a family of military heroes. In fact his Father was Revolutionary War hero Henry Lee AKA "Light-Horse Harry". Robert E Lee certainly was one to fall into the brave and large footsteps of his Father and was even known as one of the greatest officers in the United States Army. So much in fact that Robert E Lee was offered command of the Federal forces in April of 1861 by none other than Abraham "F--- law" Lincoln. Being a humble man and not one of financial means, despite the many soldiers (both whom served under him and opposed him alike) that he educated while he served as superintendent of West Point in preparation for the Civil War battles. Still after all of this and with President Lincoln's offer of promotion Lee declined. Reason being he could not fight against his own people. Lee, out of moral obligation, opted out of this opportunity and took a self demerit to the ranks of general's commission in what was then the relatively new formulated Confederate Army. Robert E. Lee was a hero of a man, this is not my opinion yet historical fact. Heroism comes with its great convictions and most heroic folks also harbor tendencies of pride, value and integrity. After his loss in combat in "Pickett's charge" Lee took full accountability for the loss. In fact Lee even went so far as to offer his resignation after the loss to Jefferson Davis. Still Davis declined Lee's resignation, unwilling to accept it after all that this war hero had done for America. After fighting in what is known as "The bloodiest war in American History" Lee faced off with Ulysses S. Grant who took command of the Federal U.S. armies. Lee had every capability and resource to end Grant and his army of men yet still Lee being a man of intellect concluded that the end of the confederacy was nigh and in such much to Lee's chagrin yet still in part for his wanting to put an end to the bloodshed of fellow Americans Robert E. Lee surrendered his troops to Grant, which ended the Civil War. Lee later and until his death on October 12th of 1870 in Lexington, VA. was appointed president of what then was known as Washington College in Virginia. Today this campus is known as Washington and Lee University that is at least for the time being. Perhaps in light of recent events the campus name will soon be removed. Or folks could go as low as to re-write the books of American history removing anything that may or may not be deemed "hurtful" or "offensive" by the mass dense population of current uneducated anarchist American's. Only time will tell, yet a country divided will always fail. "F---- law", remember those insightful words the next time that America falls prey to assault from foreign terrorists. These ignorant anarchists make our country look fundamentally weak, sharing more in common with our foreign enemies than we may think as last I checked The United States of America is against all acts of terror, both foreign and domestic. Soon that may change. Perhaps the constitution will be next to be "removed" AKA destroyed by these American terrorists. Per shame on you! Perhaps Charles Darwin had a point when he basically gave up on an all too dim witted humanity. "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science." -- Charles Darwin 'The Descent of Man'.

Perhaps they plan on replacing his head with that of an gorilla as in the \"Planet of the Apes\" franchise of film. \n\nPoint being that any great and powerful movement toward the embitterment of humanity comes with its ridicule and critiques. Anything found contemptuous comes with its own form of condemnation, no matter how righteous the act being judged. Just last month the Lincoln monument was also vandalized with graffiti that read, \"F**k law\". Perhaps these folks need to learn how to respect and abide by laws rather than violating the rules and conduct codes of this great country. While these anarchist misanthropes are at it maybe they could pause for a moment and visit a library to do something other than vandalize it. \n\nMaybe these morons might even read a book or two and know all of the facts without jumping the gun to destruction of property. \n\nAll across our falling, once great nation, morons and fools of men are removing statues deemed \"offensive\" by the masses. The question now is; how do we justify this to the educated few American's who are now faced with these disrespectful, illegal, immoral and derogatory acts of vandalism? Sadly the answer for many in recent months has been to remove any statue that may be found offensive by some folks whose minds are as closed as the books that they never cared to open in order to educate themselves on American history.\n \nNow back to our most recent outrageous gesture as Americans we have removed the statues of Robert Edward Lee. Lee was a man born into a family of military heroes. In fact his Father was Revolutionary War hero Henry Lee AKA \"Light-Horse Harry\". Robert E Lee certainly was one to fall into the brave and large footsteps of his Father and was even known as one of the greatest officers in the United States Army. So much in fact that Robert E Lee was offered command of the Federal forces in April of 1861 by none other than Abraham \"F--- law\" Lincoln. \n\nRobert E. Lee was a hero of a man, this is not my opinion yet historical fact. Heroism comes with its great convictions and most heroic folks also harbor tendencies of pride, value and integrity. After his loss in combat in \"Pickett's charge\" Lee took full accountability for the loss. In fact Lee even went so far as to offer his resignation after the loss to Jefferson Davis. Still Davis declined Lee's resignation, unwilling to accept it after all that this war hero had done for America. After fighting in what is known as \"The bloodiest war in American History\" Lee faced off with Ulysses S. \n\nLee later and until his death on October 12th of 1870 in Lexington, VA. was appointed president of what then was known as Washington College in Virginia. Today this campus is known as Washington and Lee University that is at least for the time being. Perhaps in light of recent events the campus name will soon be removed. Or folks could go as low as to re-write the books of American history removing anything that may or may not be deemed \"hurtful\" or \"offensive\" by the mass dense population of current uneducated anarchist American's. Only time will tell, yet a country divided will always fail. \"F---- law\", remember those insightful words the next time that America falls prey to assault from foreign terrorists. These ignorant anarchists make our country look fundamentally weak, sharing more in common with our foreign enemies than we may think as last I checked The United States of America is against all acts of terror, both foreign and domestic. Soon that may change. Perhaps the constitution will be next to be \"removed\" AKA destroyed by these American terrorists. Per shame on you! Perhaps Charles Darwin had a point when he basically gave up on an all too dim witted humanity.\n\"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science.\" -- Charles Darwin 'The Descent of Man'.",

bodyDear millennials, I am 37 years of age and I have traveled the realms of reality yet I still do not understand you. You can follow me, delete me, hate me, hunt me but I will not let up. You will soon implode on your cause or lack thereof. I will not give into hiding away. You ignorant blissful fools are the reason that we now have a president known as Donald Trump, yet you whine and moan about it continuously. You clamor for attention stating false and ignorant rhetoric such as "Not my President". If that be the case, then according to American and historical law, this is not your country either, so exit stage left and retreat. You wear gas masks and try to make waves in the calm oceans of America, defiling what so many brave men and women have fought for in order to protect this free land. You force companies into political confusion with the yearning to be something that you are not. Be it a woman, a man or my most recent favorite a "their". Well congratulations millennials. You have now cursed the sword into the rib cage of true democracy. You see the conservative party was once exactly like you, granted their morality always landed in the hands of their own financial gain and commerce. Now these days I will say that a struggle being made from nothing more than "feelings" lacks value. It lacks character and highlights any sense of false pride that it ever so yearns to gain, despite knowing the fact that somewhere in the back of your mind the words are uttered that "this is wrong".... "this is man made" throughout a series of time and ill made decisions about life and its circumstances. How dare you complain? You Oxford cloth wearing silver spoon fed trust find babies whose sharp threads were unjustly sewn in China by children! African American's have had to struggle for years with the racial boundaries of bigotry used against them by their fellow man, government and law enforcement alike. Now that the black folks have made a move in their true struggle (a battle still yearning for justice) you confused reckless agitated and nearly always uneducated misanthropes strive to destroy the democracy that you so effortlessly yearn for. Neither race nor ethnicity play into your hand yet you jump on the band wagon overthrowing any and all real democratic action. In fact the majority of you according to recent census poles rank high above the household wealth of the individual black family. Ironically, conservatives were once liberals too. Priding themselves on a "free voice" of a democratic America where freedom of expression and opinions met on the plains where fairness and freedom both landed on equal terrain. Still in the days of yonder there was no such term justified in order to grant the word 'equality'. How dare we act so unjust as American's with the usage of slaves and our fairly open border policies back then? Yet others still may argue that slavery is good. Open borders that allow an influx of terrorism into America are just grand! You ignorant fools. You see kids politics can become elasticized over time quite easily. Much like a salt water taffy being stretched before your eyes into elaborate and beautiful colors and sweet dreams of nothing. One who is mentally inept must always remember that if you stretch things in your party too far, you may just wind up with a sugar coated tie died colored cavity. Point being the Republicans were once the part of out cries and conspiracies against a society of misanthropes. Whereas in days current "they" or "theirs" is considered a sexual party. You were born either male or female minus the very few mathematically rare exceptions. The thing is that with the Republicans they pushed harder and harder to get their way(s) no matter how absurd, prejudiced, ridiculous, or immoral. And guess what, the Republicans won! So now you sit here wondering why. Or how human beings could be so foolish and cruel? Yet the answer is in your face every single time that you see your reflection in the mirror, a car window or a puddle of putrid water. Much like the conservatives of years yonder you have now officially joined their party over speaking your own opinions of a prejudice that does not exist. I mean really look at the History books. Read and observe learning from the true knowledge of vastly informative facts and you will find that Native Americans and African American's (brought here against their own will to be enslaved) are the true bread and butter of what this country really needs to focus on a restitution for, yet still we fall short. Republicans have fought a long and hard battle to prove that they are right and just no matter how silly the end result. They cared not about how foolish that they would one day look on future generations. Conservatives became powerful demigods, imposing their beliefs and views as facts onto the rest of the entire nation. Now we watch the liberal Democratic party of America follow the same suit. Sculpting their own reality and shaming those who do not agree into their very own oppressive arms. All without the realization that the millennials and militias thereof are following the same exact path that their great, great untaught Grandparents took route on so long ago. If you have read what I have to say up to this point you may be quite agitated. You might believe that I am a member of the Republican party. Still others, more educated (and by that I do NOT mean mandatory diversity courses taught at your college), may actually read the words that I write without fear or anger, figuring that I am a Democrat. So folks I hate to stun you and perhaps burst your bubble when I state that I am an Independent Party and my thoughts, words and actions follow as such. If this article offended you in any way, shape or form you can contact me at GROWUPANDGROWAPAIR.com. Since Shakespearean times men have longed to be women and visa versa. Now we are in modern times. So think right and bear in mind that your every anarchist, foolish notion bares potentially as poorly as slavery does in American history. Look above you to your ceiling. Look over to your Pollock re-print that your tennis pro step father bought for you to hang on your dorm room wall only to be defiled by your fellow classmates in the same fashion that you have insulted our country. Look at our United States Constitution, remembering that history cannot re-write itself yet rather coming to the realization that it is upon our own founding blocks of history through current times that we can build a way to force form any and all changes that we so desire. The bottom line is be who you are, but do not force American to be who you are. As an Independent meets Socialist free form thinker I firmly believe that your intent to do good for yourselves only selfishly brings harm on you, your friends, families and fellow Americans. You disgrace the sanctity of womanhood with your vaginal shaped pink hats. To abhor, loath and abominate your fellow countrymen is true treason. As we were founded and so still stand The United States of America is against all forms of terrorism, both foreign and domestic. So continue to execrate the law, crying when men and women of law enforcement subdue you with non-lethal measures. Execrate the United States of America and all of the men and women (not "they's") who have fought and/or died for your freedom. Do not year to make these many sacrifices and deaths to be in vein for you to desecrate. How casually you moan, groan and complain about how you were born as you ponder what pot you may be able to next stir in a futile attempt to further humiliate yourselves in an act of domestic terrorism which only provides powers to terrorists such as ISIS. Daft fools, I implore you to seek ought self educating literature beyond your course of lecture or study on your college campus. You are the naïve, the misguided, the angry and unruly masses of today. Still yet only you can choose tomorrow with an open mind and free heart. Enjoy walking through lavish green fields or perhaps barefoot on the sand of the beach. Look up to a beautiful sky free of bomber jets looking to deploy on U.S. soil for all of the hard work, blood, death and mayhem that our ancestors endured to ensure a much more free and safe America. A country where their children, grandchildren and lineage to come could appreciate a life of safety. A country without drafts, nor military silos blaring warning us of pending doom. Your great, great Grandparents may have not seen eye to eye with your every belief, yet still without their courage, honor and a rare-to-find dignity, you would not have the freedom to breathe fresh air let alone complain about self imposed privileges that you self create in an ill attempt to create trouble where there is none to be found.

bodyHave you ever dealt with a family member or a loved one who often times deems themselves unworthy of that love? For me it is my clinically diagnosed borderline/suicidal/bipolar Mother. How do you truly help somebody that does not want to be treated? A grown woman who tosses items across the room, one whom has gotten his or her way their entire life and acts as sophomoric as a seven year old child.... when pressed hard; what do you do? You can not help a person who does not want to help themselves. Even if the weight of her issues and her tyrannical behavior is as if a massive weight dragging you, your Father and so many others down deep into the waters of stress, which happens to be the number one killer in humans. All suggestions are open but bare in mind that folks with such disorders can control them. They also carry the great tendency to be able to halt their actions 'stopping on a dime' in front of those of their choosing (i.e. police, mental health professionals, certain friends, etc.). Having battled with my own mental and physical diagnosis of multiple realms I am adroit in such fields. You do have the power to control your actions yet still without consequence the ill fashioned behavior continues. What should I do? Does anybody with knowledge in this field have a clue because I sure don't. My posts on here can be real. Some will even hit home. Follow me on here and let's figure out this thing called life which is only what you make of it.

bodyTo Whom It May Concern; An old saying states that there is no honor amongst thieves. Yet still I find it a seamlessly somber and cruel world when a court circuit Judge deemed the title of "Your Honor" acts as if he were a god, extracting nothing from their character other than dishonor. I pose the question now; Who is the real thief? In 2016 due to part of many disabilities I had a court date with the Social Security Disability Administration. A date to which I was late, due to having to make several stops at Denny's and gas stations for three bathroom breaks due to my Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS. I arrived to the court house (more of a kangaroo court seemingly) and before I could even sign in for my time I had to prompt the armed guard to escort me to the restroom, again with severe runs from the stress. My claim is physical and stress and as the two tie very closely hand in hand, my intestines were on fire that day. So I used the restroom without timing my bowel movement before signing in at what the judge later called 40 minutes late. After that I was told that I had to go to one of the windows and fill out a form explaining why I was tardy, which I openly and honestly proclaimed in my written testimony. This week, August 1st, 2017 I attended my re-scheduled court hearing. There my girlfriend who knowing how difficult these things are for me drove me. We arrived before 8AM although my court time was scheduled for 9 AM. I had a cigarette and did some stretches before walking up the handicapped ramp into the lobby where one kind maintenance worker told me where to go as I had forgotten and I could not find the SSDI office on the downstairs marque. At 8:16 I made way up the elevator with a sign in time of 8:20 AM. My attorney walked in right after me asking if it was me, Kyle. My attorney and I then sat in a conference room as he prepared me for my trial A.K.A. my ambush, something that no attorney could ever have seen coming. We then sat in the main lobby at approximately 8:57, three minutes prior to out 9AM hearing. There we waited for over an hour and a half. Shortly before we were called in for my case we were 'warned' by one of the women that sits in the room with the judge that Judge Lawrence Wheeler was severely agitated as we were then given a 'walk on eggshells' sort of warning, due to the fact that the dishonorable Wheeler had gotten into a long verbal fight with the client before me. THe court worker then explained that Judge Wheeler was in a 'bad mood'. We go into the room, having lost track of time by now, more than about 90 minutes later (a timeframe that my attorney said was usual in Downtown L.A. but never in West Los Angeles where we were that morning. Shortly after swearing me in and then tearing into me about promptness, of all things the judge asked how late I had arrived to the court nearly one year later. I vaguely remember getting to the court steps 10 minutes late, then going up. So that would make it at best guess 12 minutes late. Granted before I could even sign in back in 2016 the armed guard had to escort me to the restroom as I then suffered from yet another IBS attack. So on August 1st 2017, Judge Lawrence Wheeler swore me in and then tore into me about what time I had arrived to the court. When I responded with the truthful fact about 12 minutes late, he referenced a sign in sheet from way back then last year of 40 minutes. He then tore into me briefly and ended the hearing. Well excuse me if it took me 28 minutes to take a ramp due to my injuries up a handicapped ramp and then of all things I had to use the restroom, otherwise indicating that I should perhaps crap in my pants? The pre-agitated Judge Lawrence Wheeler was brief, made very little to no eye contact and although he was more than 90 minutes late he reminded me that I was under oath about the 12 minute approximation that I had made. So it took me 28 minutes to go up the ramp, find the "court house" and take a B.M. well excuse me. But this dishonorable creep made me wait well over an hour and a half and when factoring in how early I had arrived downstairs closer to three hours, not to mention the new court date waiting time of roughly one year. Immediately after the "hearing" which you could count the minutes on one hand, my lawyer told me that in over 500 cases he had never ever seen something as horrible as what this judge had just pulled. My attorney said that typically they will write you a denial for something such as tardiness and certainly not a hearing. We were both baffled, angered and disappointed in Judge Lawrence Wheeler, as he was discourteous, malicious, wore a sinister grin and was so very extremely brief. I have faced many judges in my 37 years on this earth and this by far was the largest hoax of a "judge" that I have ever seen. If his prior case had ran long and caused the judge undue stress and agitation as to the point where one of his female workers had to come out and warn my attorney of Judge Lawrence Wheeler's foul and agitated mood then perhaps this dishonorable creep of a "man" for lack of better term should have taken a break or even dismissed court for the day. Yet I feel as the court worker had warned my judge that I must agree with her. Judge Lawrence Wheeler was heated about the case prior to mine before we even walked into the room for arbitration. I was told that we were meeting to discuss my many injuries, yet all that he talked about was my tardiness to a prior case that happened to be with an entirely different judge. My lawyer then stated that Judge "Larry" Wheeler wasted EVERYBODY'S time that day. He was a nasty, bully of a beast. His eyes beady with anger and his face flushed red. I have acquired images on-line since of Wheeler and he is usually quite pale. Which makes me wonder; Why was he so beat red when I entered the room? A question in rhetoric really, as the court's female worker who was in the room during my short hearing and the lengthy one before me warned that "Judge Wheeler just got into a fight and is in a very bad mood." Maybe it is time for the dishonorable judge to retire, at the very least he should have broken for recess as he was obviously as sad as a school girl whose baby doll had just had its woven hair of yarn ripped from its scalp. I hereby motion for an EXPEDITED court date in the absence of the very dishonorable Judge Lawrence Wheeler, whose horrific display of power has only furthered the ailments of my condition. I also plan on taking Judge Wheeler before The Superior Court, where he will be asked "under oath" about his experiences on that particular day of August 1st, 2017 namely his temper and demeanor. Simply put Wheeler was unfit to see another applicant as to the huge argument that had ensued with a completely different applicant just before I had entered the room. Judge Lawrence Wheeler also agitated my injuries and disabilities none of which he addressed in the court room. I implore you to listen to his recordings both prior to my hearing and during my hearing and common sense will take its toll. In addition I am now looking into taking the very nasty man Lawrence Wheeler to civil court for both neglecting my case and the evidence at hand in addition to agitating my already on-going issues. Regards, Kyle Manfre

bodyEvery summer millions of viewers (over 53 million last year) tune into Discovery Channel to watch its now 27 year running week long annual event series known as 'Shark Week'. The big event for Sunday July 23rd 2017 was for Michael Phelps to race a great white shark in an event entitled "Phelps vs Shark: Great Gold vs Great White"! In this event champion swimmer and multi-gold metal winner Michael Phelps took on the challenge to beat one of the ocean's deadliest predator's having spectator's either glued to their television sets, or perhaps setting their DVR boxes to 'catch' this race! Now countless onlooker's all across social media pages are stunned, some even outraged at this hard to love race in which many distraught are calling a 'hoax'. So what went wrong? After a daunting appearance of Olympic Medalist Phelps prior to the event as he gave an interview stating, "I don't think that I'm scared, but I don't really like swimming in the open waters. I was programmed to look at a black line. And that is what I did for 20 years and out here, there is just pure blackness underneath you." Still seemingly terrified in preparation it was much buildup for what the majority of Shark Week fans were sold with false hopes of anticipation to be an actual death defying race. Many feel mislead as if we were hooked in on false bait. Granted none of us expected for Phelps to get into the water elbow to fin with the giant great white shark, but perhaps a cage dividing the two could have pleased many now enraged viewers. I am amongst one of these disappointed folks being a fan of sporting events, both Summer and Winter Olympic games, Michael Phelps and of course the iconic Shark Week. This despondency is not due to the world famous aquanaut's loss to the great white. The real washout here was the manner in which the race was conducted. With simulations and drones in a series of species of sharks that are tracked first of which being The Caribbean Reef Shark. The team of shark trackers captures a steam burst from a reef shark of 20.45 miles per hour, then the team tracks down a hammer head shark at 15 miles per hour. The production crew then puts Phelps into a Monofin dropping him into the waters of Bimini in The Bahamas, turning who they referred to just moments prior as "The world's fastest swimming human" into a merman. Granted Phelps did get into the water with a hammer head and a reef shark and placed in second after the reef shark ran out of steam; so did this Steemit Steamer. Sure Shark Week has brought us some classic pieces, one of the most infamous being the 'Sharknado' franchise whose success astonished pretty much everyone involved in its production as it has now reached a cult classic status even reaching this year's Comic-Con with 'Sharknado 5'. Still that said, even with all of the buildup and shark professionals lowering Phelps into the water in a large protective cage, that was about as close as this swimmer would come to the Great White. Still with the use of decoy as bait they merely gaged for and aimed for the top speed which relied heavily on an operation of three boats. Of course, all with the use of bait the team eventually captures the Great White's speed. After the shark performs the 100 meter his time then to beat becomes 36.1 seconds. Phelps comes in second place at 38.1 seconds and although it would appear that Phelps and the shark were racing side by side, this was just a CGI trick and a simulation of all things. At the end of the race a very cold Phelps from the frigid waters, wrapped in space blankets continued to make excuses for his lack of speed. In the end Phelps called the experience, "A dream come true." Yet this stunt was anything but true. It was at best a complete farce. So Shark Week viewers Michael Phelps race against a Great White Shark remains just that; a dream or perhaps more of a hellish nightmare.

Granted Phelps did get into the water with a hammer head and a reef shark and placed in second after the reef shark ran out of steam; so did this Steemit Steamer. \n\tSure Shark Week has brought us some classic pieces, one of the most infamous being the 'Sharknado' franchise whose success astonished pretty much everyone involved in its production as it has now reached a cult classic status even reaching this year's Comic-Con with 'Sharknado 5'. Still that said, even with all of the buildup and shark professionals lowering Phelps into the water in a large protective cage, that was about as close as this swimmer would come to the Great White.\n\tStill with the use of decoy as bait they merely gaged for and aimed for the top speed which relied heavily on an operation of three boats. Of course, all with the use of bait the team eventually captures the Great White's speed. After the shark performs the 100 meter his time then to beat becomes 36.1 seconds. Phelps comes in second place at 38.1 seconds and although it would appear that Phelps and the shark were racing side by side, this was just a CGI trick and a simulation of all things.\n\t At the end of the race a very cold Phelps from the frigid waters, wrapped in space blankets continued to make excuses for his lack of speed. In the end Phelps called the experience, \"A dream come true.\" Yet this stunt was anything but true. It was at best a complete farce. So Shark Week viewers Michael Phelps race against a Great White Shark remains just that; a dream or perhaps more of a hellish nightmare.",
