It’s a seemingly small gesture, but one that signals to most observers crypto’s maturation, at least in the eyes of arguably the most important central banking institution in the world.  Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Adds Four Cryptos to its FRED Database\n“FRED has added four series on the prices of different cryptocurrencies,” the St. Louis Federal Reserve posted without much fanfare this week, including “Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. The price data are updated daily and span from as early as 2014 to the present. All data were obtained from Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange company, whose overall digital asset performance is depicted in the above graph (Coinbase Index).”\n\nThe St. Louis Fed is one of 12 regional banks within the system, collectively constituting the most powerful central bank on the globe. Known to be part of the 8th District, which includes midwestern Fed banks, it is also considered an economic research powerhouse.\n\nUS Federal Reserve Launches Cryptocurrency Index\n\nIt maintains its FRED database at its famed research division. The bank uses more than half of a million data points, derived from 81 sources. Exchange rates, GDP, interest rates, consumer indexes, banking, producer price indexes, among other sectors, comprise its focus. FRED-published statistics carry massive weight in the professional financial world.\n\nThat some government agency creates yet another index isn’t particularly newsworthy. However, that both proponents and opponents frequently set cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin cash (BCH) as distinctly operating in defiance of central banks, and how the Fed appeals to crypto bank Coinbase for its metric, means decentralized currencies have come of age.\n\nOut Ahead\nGoing forward, it would also appear as Coinbase adds more currencies perhaps FRED would be compelled to monitor them as well. Whatever the case, the St. Louis Fed has been consistently out ahead of most central banks and economists when it comes to crypto.US Federal Reserve Launches Cryptocurrency Index\n\nThat’s a marked contrast to its brethren. Atlanta’s Fed bank openly chastised younger investors to steer clear of crypto. The San Francisco branch pegged bitcoin core’s (BTC) price considerably lower than its near $6,000 present figure, insisting one BTC is probably worth around the cost of mining, slightly under $2,000 per coin. Even the Minneapolis Fed, in trying to be charitable, urged ignoring the currency aspect altogether and instead look toward ‘blockchain technology.’\n\nAgain, the St. Louis Fed thinks differently. Just a few months ago it caused a stir within the ecosystem by publishing a meditation on BTC, putting forth the idea it can be considered alongside the dollar. Its Governor James Bullard, however, is much more cautious. Acknowledging crypto as being a real future of money, he explained, “Cryptocurrencies may unwittingly be pushing in the wrong direction in trying to solve an important social problem, which is how best to facilitate market-based exchange.”",

      "body": "Developer Bluehole has deployed PUBG PC update 15 which adds the  Sanhok map alongside various UI and sound improvements.\n\nThe small new 4x4km map, which was previously known as ‘Savage’, was already available via the game’s test servers, but has now been available for all players. We’ve included a short teaser trailer for the new map down below:The full patch notes for PUBG PC Update #15 can be found below:\n\nAdded a new map: Sanhok (pronounced “sah-nok”)\n\nSanhok is 4km x 4km map (one fourth the size of Erangel or Miramar). Although games tend to end a little more quickly on this tiny island, battles are still massive. Every game still features 100 players.  Certain settings have been customized specifically for Sanhok to better fit its unique design. Details are below.Performance\n\nAccording to our internal data, the kill rate at extremely long distances is very low and therefore we’ve decided to reduce the maximum player render distance specifically on Sanhok, which will increase performance.\n\nGameplay\n\nWeather in Sanhok changes dynamically.\nPlayers can throw apples while waiting to board the plane in the in-game lobby.Redzone\n\nThe redzone is smaller and shorter-lasting on Sanhok.\nThe center of the redzone appears outside of the playzone (the white circle). This means players are more at risk when outside of the playzone.\nBluezone\n\nBluezone on Sanhok has shorter waiting times and longer travel times.\nThe bluezone is also dynamic. It checks remaining player numbers before deciding the next circle, adjusting the waiting time and travel time accordingly (this doesn’t affect circle size).\n\nSpawn Balance\n\nThe item spawn rules have been customized on Sanhok to get you equipped for battle faster.\nARs, SMGs, and DMRs are spawned more often. The total item spawn rate has been increased 5% compared to that found in the fourth round of Sanhok testing.\n8x scopes and 15x scopes don’t spawn on Sanhok. However, they may still be obtained from care packages.\nPerformance\n\nWe’ve optimized the way servers handle many nearby objects to improve performance. This includes optimizations for:\nCharacters models\nVehicles\nWeapons\nWorld\n\nAdded advertisement banners for PGI (PUBG Global Invitational) to buildings, billboards, and the default parachute skin on Erangel and Miramar\nThe Bengal Tiger parachute skin is unchanged and when equipped will replace the default skin\nWeapons\n\nAdded the QBZ, a Sanhok-exclusive weapon\nThe QBZ is an AR that uses 5.56mm rounds. It can hold 30 rounds per magazine, and can be extended to 40 rounds.\nThe QBZ replaces the SCAR-L in Sanhok’s item spawn pool (meaning the SCAR-L no longer spawns on Sanhok). The QBZ spawns about 1.4x as often as the SCAR-L used to spawn on Sanhok.\nGameplay\n\nAccuracy modifiers applied from moving, changing movement stances or aiming modes are no longer applied instantly.\nThis means that for example, when aiming down the sight, you won’t gain the full accuracy improvements from ADS until your sights are aligned.\nThe winning player or team will now be given approximately 8 seconds to celebrate their victory before the match ends and results are displayed.\nSpectators can also watch the winning player or team celebrate.\nWith three maps now in the game, you’ll choose between two “playlists” instead of two maps.\nThe Battle Royale playlist contains both Erangel and Miramar. The next hearing for the same is said to be scheduled for July 20th. The current “panic-selling” is what the Indian crypto community called temporary and they expect a pull-back pretty soon.\n\n\n\nThe price of some cryptocurrencies on Unocoin at press time\n\nAMBCrypto spoke to Vishwanath Shastry, Unocoin’s VP, he was optimistic about the future but said that the current reality is that banks will have to comply with the RBI order by July 5th. He says,\n\n“The panic selling right now is because of such notifications. They are just forewarning users to withdraw the current INR. The RBI directive had given 90 days time to pull out support. This 90 days will end after 2 weeks. All exchanges will get affected. But it’s horrible that certain users are selling at a heavy loss. India will be tamed by cryptocurrency soon. This is a fact.
