When it is time for God to accomplish a thing, He sets His power in motion, and compels everything to voluntarily work to accomplish His purpose.\nBecause the time to return from exile was due, God moved the heart of King Cyrus to make a proclamation to free all exiles to return to their land and their God. He did not just stop there, God by His Spirit made Jews willing to return to Jerusalem in spite of the uncertainties to start life all over again (Ezra 1:1-5).\nWe are in the days of God's power and the world is at the threshold of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus. Now you should be willing and ready to join the army of fervent and faithful Christians, who God has prepared to bring in the harvest of souls into the kingdom of God.\nThere is so much to do now and the time is going quickly. The more reason you have to cooperate with God and other believers to bring the kingdom of God to this earth. You cannot resist the move of the Spirit by pursuing the vanities of this life. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.\n14. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:\n15. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.\n16. May God open our eyes, Amen. \n\n Absence of war, terrorism and other forms of insecurity do not necessarily mean the presence of peace, according to experts opinion. Peace is relative term. In the spiritual perspective, no peace without Christ. This is to say that if God is not somewhere, peace cannot be there! No wonder, there cannot be peace for the wicked (godless, ungodly) ( Isa. 48:22; 57:21). God is our peace (Eph. 2:14), and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, is The Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6).\n\nObviously, this world is devoid of true peace in all spheres: economy, religion, politics and education, just to mention a few. Every nation of the world gets its own share of the turmoil rocking the world, economically, religiously and politically. Bloodshed has become so rampant. Graphics of gruesome murders are no surprises to us any longer ! There is a reason for this, since the world has consistently rejected the Prince of Peace. Himself, (our Lord Jesus Christ), it has no choice than to make do with forgetting about anything that has to do with true peace (cf. Isa. 48:22).\n\n In real sense, if you are not at peace with God (not reconcile to Him), you cannot have the peace of God (Rom. 5:1). The Prince of Peace came to the world, but He was rejected by those of the world (Jn. 1:10). He brought light , but people prefer darkness (Jn. 3:19). He opened His arms, but nobody looked to His merciful side. So, peace, evading our world, is justified (Isa. 59:8)!\n\nYou can receive true lasting peace in your life, today, if you reconcile with your Creator, through our Lord Jesus Christ (Isa. 26:3). Then, immediately begin to share the message of Peace (Jesus) with others (Jn. 4:28-30). You can't imagine the blessings that will follow.\n\n*PRAYER POINTS:*\n1. O God of Peace, speak Your Peace to the ragging storms in my life, marriage, ministry and career, in Jesus' name.\n2. Lord, I rededicate my all to You; let Your Peace permeate every aspect of my life.\n3. It is a gift from God and a sacred institution that should be treated honourably among all Christians (Mal. 2:14). After all, God instituted and ordained it at creation (Gen. 2:18). God ordained marriage and sex within marriage relationship. Sexual intercourse is the deepest and most sensitive aspect of the marriage covenant. Sex makes the man and woman one body and soul (1 Cor. 6:16-18). The sexual union should be within the bond of marriage covenant relationship. To engage in sex outside marriage is sin and disastrous. For the sacredness of marriage, God cannot help but judge such people. You dishonor God and your marriage by having sexual relationship outside of the marriage covenant. \n\nAccording to our memory Scripture, God will judge the fornicators (single people who have sex) and adulterers (married people who have sex with people other than their spouses). God punishes pre-marital sex among the singles and extramarital sex among the married, immediately, with diseases, poverty, etc., and ultimately in hell (1 Cor. 6:9-10; Eph. 5:5-6).\n\nTo avoid pre-marital sex, the single brothers and sisters in the Lord should be strongly determined not to allow their fiancées/fiancés to see their nakedness before their wedding nights. The World Health Organisation (WHO) says depression is the most common illness worldwide and the leading cause of disability. They estimated that 350 million people are affected, globally. Those suffering from depression usually experience intense feelings of sadness, anger, fatigue, hopelessness, lowered self-esteem and heightened self-depreciation. Its symptoms also include reduced interest in things that used to bring one happiness, unintentional weight loss, low appetite, sleeplessness or excessive sleeping, loss of energy, impaired ability to think, concentrate or make decisions, recurrent thoughts of death or suicide, and suicide attempt, among others. Failure to address it on time, can result in serious disaster.\n\nFactor that contribute to depression include the environment that consist in continuous exposure to violence, neglect, poverty, etc. personality is another factor. For instance, people with low self-esteem, or the generally pessimistic are prone to depression. Unpalatable life occurrences, e.g. bereavement, failed relationships, job issues; medical challenges also cause depression.\n\t\nNo matter what may be the cause of depression, know that depression is dangerous. The outcome of depression are far grievous than the root causes. Are you facing challenges? Isaiah 41:10 speaks to your situation. Be convinced that God still loves you, no matter the situation. More so, it is one of the manifestations of the flesh (works of the flesh; *Gal. 5:19ff).* Anger is part of our emotional make up. Thus, there are times when expressing anger in a controlled fashion may be appropriate *(Eph. 4:26).* However, the dose of today’s Living Water addresses unhealthy anger which can harm us and others emotionally, physically and spiritually.\n\n If you are with anger, you will not only bring grief to yourself but also to everyone who comes across you. While anger can be hereditary, generational or self-induced/imposed, the following basic therapies can help to reduce this monster to barest minimum:\nLet anger alone *(Ps. 37:8).*\nReduce anger’s intensity *(Prov. 17:14).*\nLearn to relax *(Prov. 14:30):* Learn simple relaxation methods, which help to reduce anger feelings. These techniques are breathing deeply, while breathing deeply, repeat these words: “relax”, “let it go” or “take it easy”. Another one is immersing yourself in something you enjoy. Perhaps reading, listening to music, gardening, footballing, walking, or sporting.\nAdjust your expectations: Many of us expect “too much” from others. Disappointments which are often inevitable will trigger anger in you; but keep it under check by stopping, henceforth, to expect too much from people. You should realise you are also an imperfect person. \n \n Beyond the above, a Holy-Spirit-filled person can effectively have anger under check. The admonition is: *_Be anger, and do not sin_ (Eph. 4:26a).* While sinless anger produces righteousness, sinful anger engenders wickedness and destruction *(cf. Jas. 1:19,20).* Receive the peace of Almighty God today and always.\n \n*PRAYER POINTS*\n*1.* Lord, remove the seed of anger and bitterness from my life.\n*2.* Oh Lord, help put families that have been torn apart by anger together again.\n*3.* Lord, purge our National Assembly of dirty and dishonourable people who cannot control their homes, much more the nation.\n\n*EXTRA READING FOR TODAY:* Deuteronomy 29:17 – 32:1; Luke 4:40 – 5:17",
