They are trying to forget about the last 4 years of a playoff drought behind them. With doing some cleaning house work, as they fired Mitch Kuchak and majority owner Jeanie Buss firing her brother Jim Buss for the mess they have caused for the organization the last few years.  It has been very sad to watch Showtime in Los Angeles Lakers during the last few years. The Lakers has the history, marketcap,  and the city of Los Angeles (warm weather, big media town, and the glam), and a Hall of Famer to play for who wouldn't like the opportunity to play for the Lake Show? His summer league left a good buzz about him with 2 triple double games, and showcasing his high level of court vision. He will have a lot of ups and downs this year. His stats will be good for fantasy basketball. LOL. The question for Lonzo is can he improve on his defense, his awkward shot (twist and shoot), is he able to create his own shots at this stage, and lastly athletic abilities competing against elite guards. He has a lot of positives that makes this new era of the Lakers with a lot of hype. Then the Lakers will trade Luol Deng during the trade deadline to free up more cap space clearing the way for their superstar of next year free agency - LBJ & PG13? Who knows, but this front office aligned themselves in a good place for the next few years. \n\n My prediction for this season 2017-2018 Lakers is that they will be 10th or 11th place when the season finishes up. They will make a few runs during the season, and mesh together well at the end of the season with the young core of players. I am very happy to be in Cleveland and look forward to getting to work.”\n\nI can't help but laugh at DRose decision. He gets to play with the most dominate athletic forward in today's NBA era. But he has been excellent and at times great, but he is a whiner and throws people (Coaches and teammate) along with his own city under the bus. He has no loyalty and can't accept his own failures during his press conferences when they do end up losing. This move is a one year trial and lets see what we can do type of season. And sadly, DRose was convinced to believe they can win a championship in that toxic team. \n\nWell, this whole offseason has been a bit of a shocker and surprise than the recent years in the NBA. With the news of Kyrie Irving wanting to leave Cleveland is no surprise that the Cavs made this move. I think it it is smart on their part with a low risk and high reward. They are trying to bank LBJ can motivate DRose to play high level basketball.  With LBJ thinking about opting out to leave the Cavs after next year. \n\nThere are a lot of uncertainty coming from the organization this offseason with the  general manager - David Griffin - stepping down. Then the Lebron tweet supporting the Griffen. Next came the rumor of hiring the winning hard nose point guard analyst - Chauncey Billups - who turned down the often stating \"It is not the right time\". He knew the situation is toxic and wanted no part of it. He has a cush job just being a analyst for ESPN rather than father figure and crack the whip.  Then the KIrving news broke. \n\nWhatever happens next year with the Cavs, my personal prediction will be them being the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference mainly because you can have a losing season to make it to the playoffs. With the LBJ, Drose, and KLove they still have a solid team with the offensive rebounder with Triston Thomson they will be good but not the best in the East. \n\n1st seed - Boston - They just got deeper and more talented. \n2nd seed - Cavs - LBJ, DRose, KLOVE and a decent B grade of a supporting cast \n3rd seed - Wizards or Raptors - Both teams don't shoot the 3 ball well. Wiz if John Wall can develop a solid 3 they will take it. Raptors if DeMar DeRozan develops his 3 pt shot they will take it. Both have solid supporting cast. \n\n\nBack to DRose... Dominate the first 3 years with Chi-town winning the MVP in '10-'11 season, then just never really regain his old self due to more injuries. The last few years with the Bulls his 2 torn meniscus, his lack of motivation pre-Madonna attitude, and his off the court rape case..... \n\nHe has fallen far from his MVP image and play. Derrick Rose was awesome during the '10-'11 season when he was the man. He was fearless in the lane and willed his team to victories along with the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. When you hear him talk, he conveys his thoughts like a dummy. In his early years, at least he was humble.. Now he acts he is deserving. It is what is sad about pro athletes today when they feel entitled to everything just because they made millions from their pro contract and endorsement deals.  Sadly, DRose is another player who falls into that category. \n\nHe shown flashes when he was on the Knicks last year, but he plays with some fear now. It is great to see him not injured and getting to the rim. He will be LBJ's sidekick next year, and he has the playing style like Kyrie Irving but with more power dribbling. County. He was great friend's with Chris Cornell who also committed suicide May 19th, 2017.  Chester who takes his own life on Chris Cornell's birthday. I love you T.\"\n\n\nWith more than 17 years in the music industry, Chester is best known for being the frontman in Linkin Park. The group changed the dynamics of rock music ever since they were ever played on the radio. They rock/rap hybrid style of their music swept the music genre by storm.  Their style of mixing heavy guitar riffs, turntable sampling and scratching along with that voice... that voice of Chester made the band work in harmony. His vocal can be light harmonizing to the yelling, and from there he can take it to the extreme screaming. It always worked for some reason as they band found a way to utilize the uniqueness of his vocals. The blend of hip hop flows and beats to his screamo chorus was a dream come true for something missing in rock music. \n\n\n\nAs I was a 17 year old high schooler, at the time when Linkin Park released their Hybrid Theory album which was a constant repeat on my CD player. The album was flawless. It was one of the most epic albums in that era.  The lyrics was spot on, it was something fresh and new that no other bands before them had. They have a style and sound no one really can replicate. As a grew older, so did Linkin Park's sound in Meteora. It provided another step to their development using instruments you normally wouldn't ever on albums. It was another hit record. \n\nI was lucky enough to see them 3 times live. I got my Hybrid Theory album signed by everyone in the band. They were all really nice people who seemed like they cared for their fans. Every time I saw them, you get that sense of wow what a performer Chester was. He makes the band stand out with his vocals. There is no other singer who can replicate that sounds he puts out. \n\nThe band's music and his voice really changed my life in music, and many more people around this world. We typically don't get to realize a person struggles only only if you know them on a personal level.  And his struggles ran deep from within, which you can hear it from his lyrics and vocals. \n\nAs I type this, I am truly sadden by today's new Chester Bennington is no longer with the world. With his struggles in his life, the drugs, alcohol, pain, depression within oneself can finally end. Zaza is a guy you don't want to mess with on or off the court. Just look at his face, he been in a few brawls in his life I bet coming from Georgia. \n\nThe roster only needs guys who can contribute without the basketball. They have 4 guys (Klay, Steph, KD, and Draymond) who can make plays for others already. If the ball finds itself in one of the non 4 guys all they have to do is pass to one of the 4 guys, or just shoot it.  I am pleased to have him back on the team as he will do enough to get the team solid on the frontline standpoint.",
