| body | Hello Steemians! I want to share with you **GROUNDBREAKING** research from a couple modern archeologists. They discovered an **ABUNDANCE** evidence that advanced human civilization existed for much longer than what we were taught. They put behind their previous conventional beliefs of human history and are now travelling the world, making it their life mission to uncover the truth of our human history. It is taught that the earliest human civilization were called Sumerians, or perhaps they were called Ancient Egyptians in elementary school. They date back 5000 years ago to 3100 BC in Africa and Asia, and they constructed the pyramids by dragging massive **2 ton** limestone blocks using logs, ropes, and levers. **2,500,000 blocks weighing 2 tons!** over 300 blocks had to be placed per day to complete it within the 20 year time frame for the Pharaoh, for the Great Pyramid of Kheops alone. https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--sAYCyWoK--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_636/18lp5bfyhhvw5jpg.jpg **Evidence from modern masons show this would have been an impossible feat.** So how did they build the pyramids? The most plausible answer to that, is a limestone-concrete mix. They mixed fossils and limestone, pouring the mix into molds. This explains how they perfectly positioned each block, how each block is so perfectly uniform, and why none of them fragmented (if you cut into limestone with axes or chisels, limestone may break into pieces). Researchers also found air bubbles in the limestone, which does not occur in natural limestone, proving that these blocks were made with a concrete-like mix. It also explains how some blocks weighing over 70 tons could be "lifted and perfectly leveled and positioned" on the pyramid. We are uncovering much more to the truth of human history in this decade. That is one enigma potentially solved, however, there are **MANY more mysteries!** Let me show you a drill hole in the Great Pyramid of Giza. There are many such drill holes all over the pyramids and structures on site, drilled on granite. Do you see those grooves? http://www.gizapyramid.com/Drill_hole-CD_07.jpg Granite is under Quartz, ranked 7 on Moh's hardness scale: http://www.fivestarstoneinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Granite-Countertop-Mohs-Scale.jpg We were taught, at that time, they only had stone axes and bronze chisels, so how did they drill into granite? Let me show you what these archeologists have recently discovered! http://www.theglobaleducationproject.org/egypt/pics/summaries/aswan5.jpg Each spiral in this cut sinks 0.10 inches per revolution, in the circumference of 6 inches, reaching a 1 in 60 rate of ploughing out of the granite. To compare with our modern say diamond drills, Rahn Granite Surface Plate Co. claims that in drilling granite, diamond drills, rotating at 900 revolutions per minute, penetrate at the rate of 1 inch in 5 minutes, which is 0.0002 inches per revolution. ***THIS MEANS ... the ancient Egyptians were able to cut their granite with a feed rate that was 500 times greater than our diamond drills. 500 times!!!*** A theory to explain this mystery is, the existence of an Ancient Civilization before the Sumerians/Ancient Egyptians. This theory also explains a lot of other things that I will outline afterwards. It also explains how part of the Pyramids were built with granite, such as the King's Chamber. How could they have lifted and carved into the granite with their tools? Unlikely. It also explains the 1,200 ton obelisk of granite. http://www.ancient-wisdom.com/Images/countries/Egyptian%20pics/unfinished%20obelisk.jpg The nearest granite is 500 miles away. How did they move a single block of 1,200 tons 500 miles, and carved an intricate sculpture with it? The perfect cuts and perfect angles on them are feats of architecture that even we would have trouble replicating today. https://hiddenincatours.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/2-eleph-3.jpg The granite cuts all around the pyramids are so perfectly aligned that their error is less than 0.1 degrees. This goes beyond our understanding and led these archeologists to consider all possibilities. Ancient Egyptians did not have this technology as it can be seen that they used stone axes and bronze chisels. They traveled the world to visit the remains of ancient civilizations to find TRUTH. Ruins of Incan Empire: http://www.khemitology.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Catastro-624x215.jpg Similarities between worldwide ancient civilizations were found: http://www.ancientpages.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/sphinx8.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-POnLQzDlkSI/VTZywMcVXRI/AAAAAAAAClY/LivruTGE5qI/s1600/02%2Bpyramids%2Btemples%2Bmummies%2Bmexico%2Begypt%2Bindonesia.jpg http://khemitology.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/KNOBS-PERU.jpg How can we explain this? These archaeologists have reached the conclusion that actually, ***human civilization dates farther back than 5000 years, or what we were taught, and they're going to dedicate their lives to proving it.*** There were preceding human civilizations that were lost in great catastrophic events, and knowledge of these civilizations were lost through time. How come our knowledge of civilizations before the Sumerians don't exist? Because a series of events led to the lost of our history. One such event is the burning of the Library of Alexandria during the Siege of Alexandria led by Julius Caesar. The Library of Alexandria housed up to hundreds of thousands of scrolls pertaining to all sorts of information. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/54/7a/8f/547a8f72542e0bf2f473ee4d8e0738b9.jpg The Library of Alexandria gathered all sorts of knowledge from around the world, some pertaining to predecessor civilizations. Unfortunately this knowledge is now lost. Here it is, alas, the a part of the answer to unshroud the veil of mystery of human history. Why the similarity between cultures worldwide? Listen in on Greek philosopher, Plato. He describes of a civilization before his time, before our time. Atlantis is a legendary city which is described by Greek philosopher Plato. The story of Atlantis with its exceptionally wealthy and advanced civilization, reveals its tragic end, being swept into the sea, lost forever, has caught the imagination of readers for thousands of years. Plato describes this city lost 9000 years before his time. Now is this story true or myth? We don't know yet, and we hope to find out one day. But what we do know, is a catastrophe did indeed strike around this timezone. 3 months ago, we unearthed this ancient stone at the Gobekli Tepe in Turkey depicting the catastrophic event, of a comet striking Earth, leading to a thousand year Ice Age. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/04/22/02/3F79020000000578-4432554-image-a-43_1492822854268.jpg It may look unconvincing to you, but astronomers studied it and aligned the "animals" or astronomical symbols up, to discover that the catastrophic event should have occurred around 11,000 BC. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/04/21/14/3F74AE2500000578-4432554-Position_of_the_sun_and_stars_on_the_summer_solstice_of_10_950_B-a-54_1492780889976.jpg A theory suggests that remnants of the preceding civilization survived, as proven because humans were not completely wiped out. They dispersed through the lands, and used their architectural knowledge, thus the resemblance in symbolism and architecture of worldwide ancient civilizations. What is very plausible is that humans date way farther back than we have ever imagined, but great catastrophic events have nearly wiped us out every time, causing a "reset" in the cycle of technological advances and advanced civilization. In the past 100,000 years, we have had to face 16 catastrophic events. The next event is already overdue for us. This theory **MAKES SENSE** but we still **NEED DEFINITIVE PROOF.** This is why these archaeologists are still trying to uncover the truth today. Please take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt. If you're interested, do your own research, and see where these archaeologists get with their journey in another decade, perhaps textbooks will be rewritten and more about human history will be discovered. Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did, Steemians! Learning about all of this has made me want to visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, and to continue to seek knowledge about human history until we have a definitive proof. I've read the bible, I've done bible studies, I've read textbooks, I've read theories, and while we are finding more and more evidence of our past, that I have turned from skeptic to believer, it is still not completely definitive. IF you read ALL of this and YOU'RE INTERESTED BUT STILL NOT CONVINCED that maybe some of this is true, maybe our history dates farther back, maybe we did have civilizations, they only got lost due to catastrophic cycles of time, then please tell me WHY YOU'RE NOT CONVINCED and I can show you so much more than what I could fit in this post. Even if not all of it is true, it is clear to me, that we are missing a page of our human history and ancient civilization. Also, this shows, that we must learn to live in the present, to enjoy each and every day of our lives in whatever way we can. We cannot continue to mull in the past or spend an endless effort to pave our future that may not be there and is not guaranteed. "body": "Hello Steemians!\n\nI want to share with you **GROUNDBREAKING** research from a couple modern archeologists. They discovered an **ABUNDANCE** evidence that advanced human civilization existed for much longer than what we were taught. They put behind their previous conventional beliefs of human history and are now travelling the world, making it their life mission to uncover the truth of our human history. \n\nIt is taught that the earliest human civilization were called Sumerians, or perhaps they were called Ancient Egyptians in elementary school. They date back 5000 years ago to 3100 BC in Africa and Asia, and they constructed the pyramids by dragging massive **2 ton** limestone blocks using logs, ropes, and levers. **2,500,000 blocks weighing 2 tons!** over 300 blocks had to be placed per day to complete it within the 20 year time frame for the Pharaoh, for the Great Pyramid of Kheops alone.\n\nhttps://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--sAYCyWoK--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_636/18lp5bfyhhvw5jpg.jpg\n\n**Evidence from modern masons show this would have been an impossible feat.**\nSo how did they build the pyramids? The most plausible answer to that, is a limestone-concrete mix. They mixed fossils and limestone, pouring the mix into molds. This explains how they perfectly positioned each block, how each block is so perfectly uniform, and why none of them fragmented (if you cut into limestone with axes or chisels, limestone may break into pieces). Researchers also found air bubbles in the limestone, which does not occur in natural limestone, proving that these blocks were made with a concrete-like mix. It also explains how some blocks weighing over 70 tons could be \"lifted and perfectly leveled and positioned\" on the pyramid.\n\nWe are uncovering much more to the truth of human history in this decade.\nThat is one enigma potentially solved, however, there are **MANY more mysteries!**\n\nLet me show you a drill hole in the Great Pyramid of Giza. There are many such drill holes all over the pyramids and structures on site, drilled on granite. Do you see those grooves?\n\nhttp://www.gizapyramid.com/Drill_hole-CD_07.jpg\n\nGranite is under Quartz, ranked 7 on Moh's hardness scale:\n\nhttp://www.fivestarstoneinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Granite-Countertop-Mohs-Scale.jpg\n\nWe were taught, at that time, they only had stone axes and bronze chisels, so how did they drill into granite?\nLet me show you what these archeologists have recently discovered!\n\nhttp://www.theglobaleducationproject.org/egypt/pics/summaries/aswan5.jpg\n\nEach spiral in this cut sinks 0.10 inches per revolution, in the circumference of 6 inches, reaching a 1 in 60 rate of ploughing out of the granite. 500 times!!!***\n\nA theory to explain this mystery is, the existence of an Ancient Civilization before the Sumerians/Ancient Egyptians. This theory also explains a lot of other things that I will outline afterwards. It also explains how part of the Pyramids were built with granite, such as the King's Chamber. How could they have lifted and carved into the granite with their tools? Unlikely. \n\nIt also explains the 1,200 ton obelisk of granite.\n\nhttp://www.ancient-wisdom.com/Images/countries/Egyptian%20pics/unfinished%20obelisk.jpg\n\nThe nearest granite is 500 miles away. How did they move a single block of 1,200 tons 500 miles, and carved an intricate sculpture with it? The perfect cuts and perfect angles on them are feats of architecture that even we would have trouble replicating today.\n\nhttps://hiddenincatours.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/2-eleph-3.jpg\n\nThe granite cuts all around the pyramids are so perfectly aligned that their error is less than 0.1 degrees.\n\nThis goes beyond our understanding and led these archeologists to consider all possibilities. \nAncient Egyptians did not have this technology as it can be seen that they used stone axes and bronze chisels.\nThey traveled the world to visit the remains of ancient civilizations to find TRUTH.\n\nRuins of Incan Empire:\nhttp://www.khemitology.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Catastro-624x215.jpg\n\nSimilarities between worldwide ancient civilizations were found:\nhttp://www.ancientpages.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/sphinx8.jpg\nhttp://2.bp.blogspot.com/-POnLQzDlkSI/VTZywMcVXRI/AAAAAAAAClY/LivruTGE5qI/s1600/02%2Bpyramids%2Btemples%2Bmummies%2Bmexico%2Begypt%2Bindonesia.jpg\nhttp://khemitology.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/KNOBS-PERU.jpg\n\nHow can we explain this? These archaeologists have reached the conclusion that actually, ***human civilization dates farther back than 5000 years, or what we were taught, and they're going to dedicate their lives to proving it.*** There were preceding human civilizations that were lost in great catastrophic events, and knowledge of these civilizations were lost through time. How come our knowledge of civilizations before the Sumerians don't exist? Because a series of events led to the lost of our history. One such event is the burning of the Library of Alexandria during the Siege of Alexandria led by Julius Caesar. The Library of Alexandria housed up to hundreds of thousands of scrolls pertaining to all sorts of information.\n\nhttps://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/54/7a/8f/547a8f72542e0bf2f473ee4d8e0738b9.jpg\n\n The Library of Alexandria gathered all sorts of knowledge from around the world, some pertaining to predecessor civilizations. Unfortunately this knowledge is now lost.\n\nHere it is, alas, the a part of the answer to unshroud the veil of mystery of human history.\nWhy the similarity between cultures worldwide?\nListen in on Greek philosopher, Plato.\nHe describes of a civilization before his time, before our time.\nAtlantis is a legendary city which is described by Greek philosopher Plato. \nThe story of Atlantis with its exceptionally wealthy and advanced civilization, reveals its tragic end, being swept into the sea, lost forever, has caught the imagination of readers for thousands of years.\nPlato describes this city lost 9000 years before his time.\nNow is this story true or myth?\nWe don't know yet, and we hope to find out one day.\nBut what we do know, is a catastrophe did indeed strike around this timezone.\n\n3 months ago, we unearthed this ancient stone at the Gobekli Tepe in Turkey depicting the catastrophic event, of a comet striking Earth, leading to a thousand year Ice Age.\n\nhttp://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/04/22/02/3F79020000000578-4432554-image-a-43_1492822854268.jpg\n\n\nIt may look unconvincing to you, but astronomers studied it and aligned the \"animals\" or astronomical symbols up, to discover that the catastrophic event should have occurred around 11,000 BC.\nhttp://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/04/21/14/3F74AE2500000578-4432554-Position_of_the_sun_and_stars_on_the_summer_solstice_of_10_950_B-a-54_1492780889976.jpg \n\nA theory suggests that remnants of the preceding civilization survived, as proven because humans were not completely wiped out. They dispersed through the lands, and used their architectural knowledge, thus the resemblance in symbolism and architecture of worldwide ancient civilizations. \n\nWhat is very plausible is that humans date way farther back than we have ever imagined, but great catastrophic events have nearly wiped us out every time, causing a \"reset\" in the cycle of technological advances and advanced civilization. In the past 100,000 years, we have had to face 16 catastrophic events. The next event is already overdue for us. This theory **MAKES SENSE** but we still **NEED DEFINITIVE PROOF.** This is why these archaeologists are still trying to uncover the truth today.\n\nPlease take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt. Even if not all of it is true, it is clear to me, that we are missing a page of our human history and ancient civilization.\n\nAlso, this shows, that we must learn to live in the present, to enjoy each and every day of our lives in whatever way we can. We cannot continue to mull in the past or spend an endless effort to pave our future that may not be there and is not guaranteed. The next catastrophic event for humans is likely to occur within the next few generations, so go out there, and live everyday without regrets! \n\nThanks so much for reading!\n-kenn\n\n---\n\nSources:\n\nhttps://www.geopolymer.org/archaeology/pyramids/are-pyramids-made-out-of-concrete-1/\nhttp://io9.gizmodo.com/5869417/what-are-the-great-pyramids-really-made-out-of\nhttp://www.theglobaleducationproject.org/egypt/articles/cdunn-3.php\nhttp://www.historyworld.net/wrldhis/PlainTextHistories.asp?historyid=ab25\nhttp://www.khemitology.com/journey-of-discovery-led-by-brien-foerster-evidence-of-a-highly-advanced-pre-incan-civilization-at-sites-in-peru-and-bolivia-by-patricia-awyan/\nhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4432554/Stone-carvings-confirm-comet-hit-Earth-13-000-years-ago.html\n\n---\n\nFollow these great archeologists who have dedicated their lives to finding truth of human history (please note some are pseudo-science in nature)!\n\nhttp://www.khemitology.com/\nhttps://hiddenincatours.com/\nhttp://www.ancient-origins.net/opinion-author-profiles/brien-foerster\nhttps://www.youtube.com/user/brienfoerster\nhttps://grahamhancock.com/",

It is definitely an opportunity and I wish I took some of the opportunities I had when I was 13. 13 years old, with social media these days if he doesn't join Steemit he's bound to run into internet trolls one day anyway. Steemit is not as bad as some other communities. I definitely think it's a better idea to spread a portion of his investments, such as to Steemit, than letting all of his savings stay in a bank account. If he wants to join Steemit as a content creator, let him experiment on what kind of content he wants to tailor and maybe help him think of ideas. We successful users from artists to photographers to chefs and so there are SO many more niches yet to be filled. Being successful here follows the same rules as how to be a YouTuber for example. It's a lot of work if you want to be successful. Your son should know this also takes effort, but he could potentially be set for life like you said. You find your niche for your "channel", you employ tactics to get views and gather followers. But like reddit or 9gag, it is easy to get lost in Steemit viewing blogs all day, careful not to get too lost in it. Best of luck :) I'll be following you and your son should he make an account one day! |

| body | Good points, but I would like to correct you that EOS is an application platform itself and does not run on the Ethereum platform. Only the current EOS token is being distributed on the Ethereum platform because they're trying to keep EOS hands off, maintenance-free during development. Once EOS launches next year the tokens will be traded for tokens on the EOS platform. --- That's mostly what I want to say. More description below of my understanding if you want to read: --- 1. Why have a token on Ethereum platform? - This was a decision by block.one for optimal development progress. If they launched EOS platform and distributed tokens on the EOS platform, development speed will slow down dramatically due to maintenance of the platform. Making changes at that point becomes more difficult because once applications start using the EOS platform, EOS has to keep their users in mind for every change it wants to make. 2. Then why have ICO over 12 month period now instead of after launch? - The current 12 month ICO is just a preliminary spreading of the seeds. Other ICOs do it too, crowdfund with little more than a whitepaper and promises. At least EOS is backed with years of knowledge from block.one and technology of Bitshares and Steem. They don't need the money and its purpose is not crowdfunding. Its purpose is to broadly distribute the tokens for a fair, decentralized platform. It's also to provide publicity of the platform and time for the community to be familiarized with the project. Someone could technically write an application using the EOS platform before the launch and have it ready by the time EOS is launched. The ICO lasts a year because it mimics mining and makes it harder for whales to snatch better investments than everyone else. 3. WIll it be an Ethereum killer? - No one can say for sure. EOS, being an application platform, directly competes with Ethereum, but it depends on the technology of each and users of the platforms. If companies adopt the Ethereum platform for their smart contracts, but discover limitations, then discover that EOS does not have those limitations, then yes, EOS has the potential to be an Ethereum killer but who knows. These limitations are theoretical at this point since EOS hasn't launched yet, but the underlying technology of EOS seems sound to me. Others can fill you in here. But Ethereum can make a comeback. It's just unlikely for it to adopt large changes to the platform at this point since it already has many users and #2 market cap. Any changes Ethereum wants to make at this point has a lot of weight and a lot of consideration needs to be made. EOS can make any changes on the fly since it hasn't launched yet. 4. Then is it good idea to invest in EOS? - In my opinion yes, while the potential for profit and ROI may not be astronomical like Ethereum was, I believe EOS is still undervalued in the long-term. If EOS, after token distribution is done, ever becomes a tenth of what Ethereum is today, then if you bought in now, you would begin to profit. Personally I would either get in now for short-term investment because many people transferred large amounts of altcoins to BTC for the free BCC (Bitcoin Cash), and are likely to transfer back to altcoin after this, so I would expect altcoins to rise a bit in a few days (just my unprofessional speculation), or I would wait at least a few months since we might be on a decline and end of a bull run in the crypto space (again, speculation), but I wouldn't be surprised, especially with the 12-month distribution strategy, for EOS to drop further in value this year. |
