| title | What Makes You Believe In Something? |
| body | Everything in this world is fluid even the beliefs that we have. Like a fluid that follow the shape of its container, a certain belief must fit a certain context. Let me ask you, what makes you believe in something? Is it because someone in authority told you so? Is it because you learned it from school or from your parents? Could it be that you're so used to it that your mind accepts it to be true? Would you agree that the only credible proof to make you believe in something is when you experience it and when your intuition tells you so? Why? Because this world is a bowl of truth and lies which appears too identical to the basic human senses. We have to use our higher sense of intuition to see clearly. But not all intuitions are real. Sometimes, intuition is clouded by insecurities, fear, pride or over expectation that what you see is not the real thing, but a cloud of feelings. There must be a clarity within to listen to your intuition. But how to gain clarity? Compartmentalization is the ability to put one's thoughts and feelings into its designated compartment and locked it in for a while. For such time, your mind is clear of any clutter or existing ideas. That's the best time to listen to your inner guiding system- the intuition. If you based your belief on media, you are living within the imagination of the director. If based it on your parents or teachers, you are living within the borders of what they know. And if you based it on what is written on a book or article, you are living within the mind of the writer. Would you believe everything that is written here? I would like to make you think on your feet.

|

| title | HOW TO DETECT IF SOMEONE IS LYING THROUGH EYE MOVEMENTS? |
| body | "If a person cannot look at you straight in the eye, he's lying," that cliche was actually a lie. It was a long-sounding belief that all people manifest a certain sign of conscience in their bodies when they tell a lie. In fact, psychopaths, pathological liars and manipulators actually look at you straight to the eye to convince you of what they are saying. Since such belief circulated in the society, many people used it for their advantage and do the opposite just to get in their favor. What does it mean? If lying people used to avoid eye contact, now they are intentionally doing it to gain your confidence. This is an ever changing society and no social rule or norm stays the same for a long period of time. You must stay up-to-date to the changes to make sure that no one plays at the top of your game. What are the physiological signs that e person is lying? Eye Movement. Yes, they can manipulate their eye externals to look straight in your eyes but they cannot manipulate their eyeball movements while they are thinking. Take note that these are only cues and not exact science. You should not take this cues objectively. Meaning, it still depends on the context of a conversation or a person's physical condition. A person with an eye defect is an exception. When asked a question a "normal" right-handed person looks: * Up and to the Left - it indicates Visually Constructed Images (VC)

If you asked someone to imagine a dog with a pink wagging tail and with a golden teeth, this would be the direction of their eyes while thinking or imagining about the suggested image. In short, this is the direction of their eyes when they created an imaginary image. * Up and to the Right - it indicates Visually Remembered Images (VR)

If you asked someone about the appearance of their spouse or friend, this would be the direction of their eyes while recalling the image of their spouse or friend. In short, this eye direction happens when they are recalling or remembering something in reality. * To the Left - it indicates Auditory Constructed (AC)

If you asked someone to imagine the noisiest sound they can ever encounter in the party, this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the suggestion. In short, this is their eye direction if they are imagining a sound that they never heard yet in actuality. * To the Right - it indicates Auditory Remembered (AR)

If I ask you to remember the sound of your favorite song, this would be the direction of your eyes movement. This happens every time you remember or recall a sound that you already heard in reality. * Down and To the Right - it indicates Internal Dialog (AI)

This is the direction of someone eyes as they "talk to themselves." A left handed-person's eye movement is the opposite of everything else above. This information may be shared or read by many but don't worry, no one can ever manipulate the brain and eye movement connections. Hope this help. |

| title | HOW TO DETECT IF SOMEONE IS LYING THROUGH EYE MOVEMENTS? |
| body | "If a person cannot look at you straight in the eye, he's lying," that cliche was actually a lie.

Hope this help. |

| title | The Thinking Cycle |
| body | So, you are 20 something, at the peak of your life. There are so much waiting for you in the future- so many dreams to pursue, so many adventures to experience. It seems like time passes too quickly and before you notice, one year has already passed. Time is the greatest currency of all because of its scarcity. Remember this: something is valuable when it is limited. Time is. You can always earn money back, but lost time is lost forever. Some people may think that, since time is a limited resource, it is best to live at the present by enjoying life to the fullest. I mean, splurging on every thing or every experience. YOLO, you only live once! But do you know that there are cycles in people's thinking and decisions? Yes, cycle that could go up and down. It's volatile but one thing is predictable, the current state of the cycle is the effect of the previous cycle that occurred. In short, there is a cause for every effect. Hence, if thinking is a seesaw, where are you at? Enjoy your life as long as you are single. Travel, drink, party, date, shop etc.

Once you get married and have your own family, you cannot do that anymore. * This kind of thinking shows that the present must borrow value from the future in order to experience the fulfillment of singlehood * It also shows that the future must pay for what the present has enjoyed * It gives an impression that marriage and having a family is an unlikely condition, that there's not so much fun associated with it and also, it is a robber of freedom. You just received your salary today. Let's go out and party since you have money.

Five days after receiving the salary, you're broke and looking for someone who can lend you some cash * It shows that "fun now" sounds more enticing than avoiding pain in the future You're on a diet but the food looks so tasty and irresistible. Go and eat.

You can just go on a super strict crash diet on the next day just to compensate on what you eat today * It illustrates how people are willing to sacrifice twice as much in the future just to gain a momentary pleasure You have a job interview invitation today but you don't feel like going out. It's too early and all you want to do is to sleep.

You called the employer and ask for another schedule * It shows that the immediate need of the body to sleep is more important than the possibility of landing a job You are working as a typical employee. You decided to save 30% of your salary regularly to buy your own house in the future

* It displays that the discipline of saving money can be practiced for the reward of having your dream house in the future.

There is a power in delayed gratification. The "value" that you sacrifice today can bear a bigger return in the future because there is a compounding element which is TIME. On the other hand, the "value" that you cannot set aside today can result in a bigger debt, again due to the compounding of time. TIME is the greatest currency, not only because of its scarcity, but also in its multiplying effect. Are you willing to sacrifice the present for a future gain or sacrifice the future for the future gain? Remember that either way, you will still sacrifice. The only difference is the amount and weight of pain. In the end, people inherently underestimate the pains of the future and overestimate the pleasures of the present. |
