      "body": "Hey what’s up Internetz? It’s that guy Joe again with another blog on a Saturday morning that maybe someone will read. Feel like these are getting more sporadic lately, and that’s entirely my fault.  But hey! Here I am so…\n\n\nSo if you’re reading this you might already know that I consider myself a radical leftist.  But I’m often not considered a very good leftist because I like to listen to other points of view.  Apparently if you listen to someone it means you agree with every single thing they have to say.  I once mentioned in a leftist group that I had listened to a particular right wing libertarian podcaster. Didn't say I agreed with what they had to say or that I thought they were a good person, just that I had listened to them and they said something about something.  So of course Everyone piled on me and dragged me through the mud, dismissing anything further I had to say.  So I don’t get along well with these people because I feel like it’s important to actually listen to what people have to say before you judge them.  Sad to say, most people seem to form their opinions these days based on what they’ve heard from someone else. \nSo with that in mind, I decided to be a bad leftist again and actually watch the  new Dave Chapelle special, Just to see what all the fuss was about. Everyone making a fuss should probably make note of that.   Now everything I was hearing about this show made it sound like an Anti-Trans hate rally, and he certainly does say some pretty offensive shit about trans people, but he also opens up by praising the Stonewall rioters. And the Stonewall riot was started by a black trans woman who threw a brick at a cop. That’s three oppressed people in one going “Fuck the police!” How can Dave not love it? I certainly do.  Yet nobody mentioned the racial commentary. Let me say that as a Michigan white person, I was particularly offended by what he said about Michigan white people, but it seems that the main theme of the show was that, as he sees it,  LGBTQ people get way more sympathy from society than black people do, and I feel like all the people screaming about how trans phobic this show is are kind of making his point for him.  In fact I can't help but notice that with a lot of them their skin tone seems to be a particular shade of beige.  And I’m sure if you asked any of these people if they support black culture, they’ll tell you yes. But having actually spent a lot of time around the black community myself,  I’m tempted to think that these people haven’t.  Because from my first hand experience I’ve seen a lot of homophobia and trans phobia in that particular community.  I don’t like that anymore than these people would if they chose to acknowledge it. I think we should all love and support each other for who we are, but I’m pretty sure the last thing black people want to hear in America these days is white people telling them how to feel about anything.  But, as Dave put it, everybody wants to be a minority, until they need to be white again.\nAnother person I’m a bad leftist for listening to is Joe Rogan. Apparently this Bernie Sanders supporter is somehow a right winger.  I guess because he hunts and thinks that people should take care of themselves.  These days anybody who doesn’t check all the right boxes is a hard core alt-right racist sexist homotransphobe. Unless they’re running for president as a Democrat. Then you can just be a Republican and none of them give a shit.  But if you’re a podcaster with the biggest audience in the world, well then you’re just the worst person ever and need to be cancelled. So I’m not allowed to listen to him, and it’s a good thing too because if I was I might learn that Ivermectin isn’t horse paste and that mainstream news networks just tell bold faced lies to the public then wonder why nobody trusts them anymore. I mean shit, if they wanted to discourage people from taking it, it should be enough to say that it is not recommended  by the FDA as a treatment for COVID, yet for some reason they feel the need to slander it and act like it’s strictly an animal medicine when it was used for humans for years before it was used for animals. So, as a network supported largely by ad revenue from pharmaceutical companies, you say this about a generic drug, and you honestly fucking wonder whey people think you have another agenda?  “Daddy, where do conspiracy theories come from?”   “Crazy, anti-science bigots son. Well, if you’re able to find this blog I’m going to guess it probably didn’t effect you very much because you know that there’s other things on the internet. Who knows? I’m pretty sure there’s one of those scientific laws that states that as soon as a new technology comes on the market, westerners will immediately become entitled to it.  I’m pretty sure that most people born in the last 30 years have already forgotten that there was a time when Facebook didn’t exist and everything was fine.  I mean, shit was still fucked up, but it’s not like that lack of Facebook was a factor in that. So this week I checked out the new Sopranos movie,  The Many Saints of Newark.  And I enjoyed it.  Was expecting it to focus more on young Tony Soprano, but I guess it was more about the environment he grew up  in.  What really caught my attention was that Dickey Moltisanti was prominently featured. I came up with a theory while watching The Sopranos a while back that Tony was the one who really killed Dickey. I mean I’m sure other people thought of that too, but I never heard it from anyone else.  So I was anxious to see if the movie would answer that question for me. Well I won’t give away what the answer was, but it did.   Plus I got to watch a dude beat his abusive father to death then set him on fire, which is always a good time.  I liked how they had Dead Christopher as the narrator, though I can’t imagine someone being that petty from the afterlife.   A friend of mine said it just made him remember how much he hated Tony.  I guess I didn’t quite see things the same way as him.. I mean, there’s obviously a million reasons to hate Tony, but when it came to Christopher he gave the kid a million chances. Not that I condone anything he did, but it didn’t take much more past seeing the tree go through the carseat for me to see why Tony made the decision he ultimately made with him. Plus it’s hard to feel sorry for a guy when you see him routinely beat the shit out of his fiance, then ultimately choose to have her killed rather than give up his Mafia lifestyle.  I just think that once this guy had the perspective that one could only have from the afterlife he’d be like “Oh yeah, I kind of had that shit coming.”\nAnyway, that’s all I’ve really got for tonight. Now of course I don’t want it to be overturned, but if it is, what the fuck are the Republicans going to run on? I mean that’s how they’ve been winning  over  large portions of the working class for at least 40 years or so., while they were helping pave the way for all of their jobs to get sent overseas.  I know the Democrats have been just as complicit in that, but at least they managed to convince the working class they were on their side for a while longer. Now all either side has is culture war shit. Shit that to me just all comes down to “Leave people alone and let them do what the fuck they want.”  And I get why people are against abortion.  I really do sympathize. I’ve never liked the idea of killing unborn babies, but I’ll never have to make that decision. I feel like if something is attached to your body  you can do what you want with it… But I’m sure t. he most pro-choice women out there would prefer to not have to have an abortion in the first place. I’m not saying I know that for a fact, but I’m willing to hazard a wild guess. And I want to believe these “Pro life” types come from a place of love,, but there’s so many ways we could reduce the amount of abortions without legislating against it.  I mean for one thing, a lot of these people are always saying “Adoption@ Put it up for adoption!” Oh?  So you want me to grow this thing inside my pody for 9 months, push it through a narrow opening and then give it away? That’s an odd sentiment coming form someone who says that taxation is theft. I mean fuck, the state that’s in the news the most these days on this issue is Texas. Well in Texas it is 100% legal to kill someone who’s on your property without your permission. Well then why should. n’t someone be allowed to kill someone who’s in their body without their permission? And I know what some of you pro lifers are saying “She fever permission when she had sex. OK. I hear you. There’s a little room for personal accountability here, but just a little. Because remember the founding fathers. I believe it was none other that Ben Franklin who said “House guests and fish start to stink after 3 days.” Frankly, I think that’s more than enough time to decide if you want someone to live in your boy for nine months and eat all of your food. In any case, there’s already way more than enough kids waiting to be adopted who aren't being adopted. A lot of these kids age out of foster care and become the homeless people you’re always bitching about camping in your neighborhood. Well you could have stopped that shit 20 years ago ig you’d adopted a kid or just minded your own fucking business when it comes to other peoples bodies. And I want to believe these “Pro life” types come from a place of love,, but there’s so many ways we could reduce the amount of abortions without legislating against it.  I mean for one thing, a lot of these people are always saying “Adoption@ Put it up for adoption!” Oh?  So you want me to grow this thing inside my pody for 9 months, push it through a narrow opening and then give it away? That’s an odd sentiment coming form someone who says that taxation is theft. I mean fuck, the state that’s in the news the most these days on this issue is Texas. Well in Texas it is 100% legal to kill someone who’s on your property without your permission. Well then why should. n’t someone be allowed to kill someone who’s in their body without their permission? And I know what some of you pro lifers are saying “She fever permission when she had sex. OK. I hear you. There’s a little room for personal accountability here, but just a little. Because remember the founding fathers. I believe it was none other that Ben Franklin who said “House guests and fish start to stink after 3 days.” Frankly, I think that’s more than enough time to decide if you want someone to live in your boy for nine months and eat all of your food. In any case, there’s already way more than enough kids waiting to be adopted who aren't being adopted. A lot of these kids age out of foster care and become the homeless people you’re always bitching about camping in your neighborhood. Well you could have stopped that shit 20 years ago ig you’d adopted a kid or just minded your own fucking business when it comes to other peoples bodies. Other people saw something different. That was weird, but also kind of neat.  More recently, some obscure congresswoman went to a very expensive event wearing a very expensive dress with “Tax the Rich” written across the back.  And just like the last dress I mentioned, everybody saw something different. Some people saw a hero, some saw a hypocrite. You know what I saw? The internet arguing over yet another fucking dress.\nAs for the message, I got tired of hearing that shit a;long ass time ago. Not that I don’t agree with it, in principle at least.  Certainly if there could be such a thing as a just system, then the people who benefit the most would pay the most into it. You say you’re a self made billionaire? You’re not making shit without roads to move it on.  Meanwhile you want your employees to be at work on time everyday but don’t want to pay for the bus they have to take there. I just know that it’s empty rhetoric and always has been. Something that comes back around every few years to get the voters all fired up.  Sure it sounds good to some working  class voters, but what they fail to realize is that it doesn’t matter how much you tax these people when they’re not paying their taxes anyway. You could tax Jeff Bezos 100% on his income and after he takes advantage of every loophole and tax credit he’ll still end up getting a 200% refund. It’s like when people say “Support the troops!” and I’m like “Ok, how?” They never say things like “Pay them better” or “Make sure they don’t end up homeless” or “Don’t send them to fight in bullshit wars”. It’s just a way of telling the people who oppose those wars to shut up.  “Tax the rich” and “Support the troops” mean exactly the same thing. Nothing. \nOf course the world has changed a lot in the last 20 years. Back then the Democrats were running against war and mass surveillance. I mean they still voted for those things, but they ran against them and that’s what’s important. But now our preferred method of supporting the troops is to murder people with drone strikes instead.  These have had a minimal success rate when it comes to hitting their actual target, and mostly kill innocent civilians, but no Americans are getting killed so people are OK with it. I guess it’s been in the news a bit because Texas put a 6 week limit on getting an abortion, which is a bit extreme in my opinion.  Maybe if it was 6 weeks after birth, I feel like that’s a reasonable stopping point. By then parents should have their mind made up whether or not they really want to go through with this. And then you should get your money back from the hospital.  Just be like “Yeah I paid a lot of money for this, but I don’t think I really want it.” Then they just drop the defective product in the dumpster and give you a full refund.  Maybe a 10% off coupon for your next abortion. See, it’s shit like this that keeps me out of polite society. .In any case, for anyone who doesn’t know, I’m very pro-choice. Pro abortion, actually. Like I’d recommend it in most circumstances. Especially when the parents are pro-life. In which case it’s actually quite a lot of work to convince them that they’re carrying the child of Satan and he must be stopped.  So I’m very pro-choice, but it’s hard to fit in with the pro choice crowd because I don’t think the pro-life crowd is evil.   I’m sure there’s plenty of men in there who just want control over women’s bodies, but a lot of them just don’t like the idea of killing babies.  I find it hard to think that that impulse comes from a bad place. I just don’t think it should be legislated.  What really bugged me though was when I saw something saying that the state was enforcing a religious belief.  So I felt the need to point out that it’s not. You don’t have to be religious to be pro life. There’s atheists who believe that abortion is murder and it has nothing to do with religion for them. I just find amusing how the people on my own side of the political spectrum like to act intellectually superior, yet they refuse to critically examine their opposition.  In fact, if you are pro life, they’ll probably assume you’re an unvaccinated white supremecist treating your COVID with horse dewormer. LIberals these days don't know how conservative they really are.  I just saw a video of Jimmy Kimmel saying that people who don’t get vaccinated should be denied healthcare..  That’s a pretty conservative position.  “Hey you made your bed now die in it!”  “You didn’t want to take the drugs from the known heroin dealers? Well you deserve to die!!  This isn’t healthy, folks.\n\nBut I think they problem is this. It wasn’t that long ago that you could live your whole life without interacting with most of the people on the planet.       "body": "Why hello there, what is up on the Internetz tonight? I don’t know about you, but it’s Friday morning here in Seattle, and I’m writing another blog for whoever feels like reading it. Some new shit happens.   Like just about a month ago we thought this COVID nonsense was over with, and now we get COVID 2: Delta Boogaloo! And once again I can’t go anywhere without covering my face again.  Then again, maybe people just don’t want to look at my face. I can certainly understand that. But then there’s the ongoing situation in Afghanistan. Now ISIS is suicide bombing our troops and shit, which I think is weird. I mean is it just me, or does it seem like every time we’re about to pull out from one of our forever wars, these ISIS fucks show up?.  They always start shit like right when we’re pulling out too. Seems a bit counterintuitive to me.  Just like how Bashir Al Assad always uses chemical weapons on his own people right when he’s on the verge of total victory. Doesn’t seem like a very good strategy to me. Isn’t ISIS’s goa to create this huge mega-caliphate? Would probably be easier for them to do that once the U.S. presence is gone, wouldn’t it? Yet they attack as we’re trying to withdraw. That doesn’t sound to me like the actions of someone who wants us to go, sounds like someone who wants us to stay.  Maybe ever people who are profiting off of our presence. But the only answers I can come up with for that all sound like some crazy conspiracy. Theory..  What’s ever weirder though is that now we’re apparently working with the Taliban to fight ISIS.  Isn’t this what happened in 1984? Or did they censor that part of the book already?  But it does make me wonder if maybe this whole time the deal we made with the Taliban was for them to be our new puppet government in the country? It certainly wouldn’t be the first time we allied ourselves with an oppressive theocratic regime though, would it? And Saudi Arabia just has oil. Afghanistan has oil, rare earth minerals and  heroin.  I’m sure that if the Taliban can keep the tap flowing on or Oxies, not to mention the smug sense of self-satisfaction generated by electric cars, most Americans will be more than happy to let bygones be bygones at this point. Americans don’t really care where our shit comes from, as long as it keeps coming. \nBut hey, I don’t really know what the fuck’s going on. I’m just ranting and raving from my fingertips like always.  So I’m just gonna cut it short right here this week. Until next time, fuck it! Before it fucks you.",

Why else do you think they run commercials for military contractors? Do they honestly think their average viewer might be in the market for an F 35? I don’t think so.  That’s where they get their money from, so that’s who they report on behalf of.  That’s why they’re telling you how much of a disaster this withdrawal is, but they didn’t want to talk about how much of a disaster the war has been. And of course all the sheep are bleeting along with them, which puts me in the awkward position of having to defend the current racist pedophile occupying they White House. Not to be confused with the former racist pedophile in the White House, who incidentally was the one who announced this withdrawal in the first fucking place.  As I recall, Trump’s supporters seemed pretty happy about it at the time, and I was too. But now I see them shitting all over Biden when all he did was extend Trump’s timeline.  Frankly that’s the only thing he did here that I was mad about. In fact if you’ve read some of my previous blogs you might note that I thought there was gonna be some false-flag fuckery that would prevent the withdrawal from happening, and I’ve never been more happy to be wrong about something in my life.  Like for once in my lifetime I actually feel a little bit proud of our President for actually doing the right thing. \nAnd let me acknowledge that yes, I do feel bad for the people of that country, especially the women and the men who like to shave.  Yes I saw the footage of the people trying to jump on to airplanes to get away and it did remind me of the people jumping from the buildings on 9-11.  As I recall that was  supposedly the reason we went in there to begin with.  George W. “Daddy’s Little President” Bush said that’s where the big bad terrorists were so we had to go in there to get them. But of course it was never really about that. Otherwise it wouldn’t have taken 10 years and a whole new President (A guy I had never heard of as of 9-11-2001) to get that accomplished. I mean if you had told me back then that Osama Bin Laden was going to get taken out by a b lack President named Obama, I would have thought you were saying that it was never going to happen. But that is what happened, and then it took us another 10 years and two new Presidents to get out.  I mean, if you had told me back then that President Donald Trump was going to be the one to announce a withdrawal, I’d have just been like “LOL WUT?”. Biden would have been way more believable, actually. But I digress, yet again.   This was never about getting terrorists. That was just a handy excuse to go in there and prop up a corrupt government, so our companies could get a piece of the mountains full of resources  there.  And our government never gave a shit about the people of Afghanistan either. There’s oppressed people all over the world, including The United States, and we only give a fuck about any of therm when it serves our own interests.  You don’t see us sending the marines into China, or North Korea, or Russia do you? That’s because it’s not in our interest to do so.\nSo to me, this whole thing is really just a vindication of the anti-war left.  They actually still existed back in 2001, and would continue to be a thing right up until January 20th, 2009. Then they gradually began to morph into the pro-anything-Democrats-do “left’  But back then they were all telling us what a disaster going into Afghanistan would be while being shouted down and called traitors and terrorists sympathizers by the rest of this bloodthirsty-ass country. And in the end, they were right. It was a disaster. We spend 20years, thousands of American lives, gods know how many Afghani lives, and $2 trillion   training an army that couldn’t last a day and propping up a government that had no interest in governing. I guess if we just stayed another 20 years maybe they could have lasted 2 days?  Probably not though. Because it turns out people don’t really want to fight for a corrupt government that only exists to serve American corporations. In fact, it’s pretty easy to convince them to accept almost any alternative. There’s a lesson in that for my fellow Americans, if they’re astute enough to pick it up..  But I’m sure most won’t. I’m sure our next multi-decade disaster of a war is right around the corner, if it’s not happening already. Or maybe we’ll just keep back up fascist coups, then when we get more floods of refugees we’ll argue about whether to let them in or not rather than asking why they’re all coming here in the first place.       "body": "Hello Internetz! It’s me again.  I know it’s already Saturday morning but I’m gonna call this my Friday the 13th post, because I feel like that’s a good day for a blog. I know a lot of people think it’s unlucky, but some say that’s just some shit the Christians made up because it was a sacred day to some of the pagan tribes who they forced to convert. I think the latter explanation seems far more likely myself, but that might just be because it’s more in line with my personal beliefs. As always, take everything I say with a grain of salt. In fact, take everything anyone says with a grain of salt, because everyone is most likely to believe whatever is in line with what they already believe.  I’m just taking a moment to be honest with you about it. \n\n\nOne thing I believe, is that my government needs to get it’s military out of everyone else’s countries. Now supposedly that’s going to happen in Afghanistan soon, but it was also supposed to happen back in may, so I’ll have a little salt with that one too. In fact it’s tasting extra salty now that I hear more troops are going into Afghanistan now. Supposedly it’s just to evacuate the embassy staff, but  we’ll see how that goes. Maybe the Taliban attacks the embassy after we so kindly asked them not to, and then the war’s back on. I’m not sure why they would do that, but I’m confident the CIA can make something up. Or maybe a bunch of generals convince the cabinet to declare that Biden is mentally unfit for office (which I’m have trouble arguing against.). Then in a historic moment  that will be celebrated for generation, the first woman of color President of the United states  orders a brand new troop surge into Afghanistan..  Well, I don’t know what’s going to happen. All I know is after 20 years of U.S. Occupation the Taliban controls more of Afghanistan than they did in 2001. I remember back then we were afraid it was going to be another Vietnam, but you can’t even call it that anymore since Vietnam only lasted half as long. And you don’t have to dig terribly deep to see the long term damage it’s done to our society. .\nThat’s an interesting word, “society”. Anyone remember Margarete Thatcher? Maybe not. Sometimes I have to remind myself that there’s whole ass adults now who weren’t alive for half of my life.   She was the Prime Minister of England back in the 1980’s. She once said that there’s no such thing as society, only individuals and families.  Which is an interesting thought. If I could go back in time, you know what I’d ask her? Why the fuck do you have a Queen then?  You’ve got this obsolete relic from 1000 years ago (pretty sure that’s her actual age), just sitting on a throne looking all regal and shit and referring to herself as “We”. Then for some reason she gets a fucking salary from the taxpayers. You know, those individuals and families you’re so fucking concerned about.  The only reason she’s there is because for some reason your society wants them there.  And this same society decided to make you their prime minister for some reason,  so maybe you shouldn’t so readily dismiss it.  Just because your society makes questionable decisions, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. \nNot that American society is any better, mind you. Look at the people we elect to lead us. Our choice is between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.  A rapist who got rich with housing discrimination and a rapist who ran against the civil rights movement. Then at the state level you get people like Andrew Cuomo, the recently resigned governor of New York   It’s funny how much our society condemns rapists yet can’t seem to stop electing them to high office.  But apparently this guy’s excuse is that he’s Italian.  I know Trump and Biden were both pissed that they couldn’t use that excuse.  And this isn’t even the worst shit he’s done. For some reason people don’t want to talk about how he let old people die in nursing homes while the “left” was praising his pandemic leadership and calling him our other President. I guess he had the second shortest Presidential term in U.S. history, but at least Harrison went out like a man. Refusing to wear a coat in January then wondering why he was dying of pneumonia a month later. .\nBut I digress, often. I didn’t even mention Cuomo’s corruption  scandals that would make a proper liberal’s head explode if Trump was the least bit involved. But what I’m ultimately getting at is the dirty little secret of western “Democracy” and that is that  power doesn’t necessarily go to who the people want. Just like any other system, it goes to people who want it the most. And the people who want it most are sociopaths. So we just keep giving power to sociopaths and then act all shocked when they do shitty things with it, or we ignore it if it’s “our” sociopaths. But hey, that’s just my point of view, so take it with yet another grain of salt. And take your own point of view, and everyone else’s with a grain of salt.       "body": "Hey what’s up out there in the series of tubes known as the internetz?  It’s Saturday morning here in the future cyberpunk dystopia of Seattle. Where it actually does not rain much for this part of the year. At least it hasn’t since I’ve been here.  No, now is the time of year when the rain gives way for the smoke just starting to come over the hills.  It’s a very Yin Yang vibe over here.\n\nBut in local Seattle news, I just read that a pair of Seattle’s finest (finest assholes that is), who were present at the infamous January 6th Trump rally, were just fired. Apparently they were standing by during an active insurrection.   So now I’m wondering, are police officers obligated to respond to events in other cities, thousands of miles away on the other side of the continent? Doesn’t seem fair to me. I mean, I know we all loved Die Hard, but I’m pretty sure McClane wasn’t obligated to kill all of those terrorists.  In fact I recall that the L.A. police were pretty pissed at him.  Same with the Airport police in Die Hard 2.  They don’t need him getting in the way. I understand that. I work at a grocery store. When I shop at another grocery store, I don’t run to the back to help them unload their freight. I just assume they’ve got that covered. So I wonder if any of  the Capitol police officers, who literally held the door open for the rioters, got fired. Or the FBI agents who had at least 1 informant in the crowd, for that matter. I guess those agencies are just getting more money. It’s really weird how accountability works in this society. \nIn other news, I guess COVID’s back, back again. Yeah COVID’s back, tell your friends! From six feet away with at least as many masks on because that’s just life now, apparently.  Now the evil scary Delta variant is having “breakthrough cases”, which is what they call it when a vaccinated person gets infected. Thing is, it seems to be mostly unvaccinated people who have to be hospitalized. So I don’t know what the vaccinated people are freaking out about.  But for some reason they get mad at the unvaccinated people because their vaccine didn’t keep them from getting infected. Me? Yeah, I did get vaccinated, but I’m not mad at anyone who hasn’t. I totally understand why someone would be hesitant to take an experimental medical procedure from known heroin traffickers whom they have no legal recourse against. Interestingly, I hear that a lot of the unvaccinated population is of African descent. I wonder why? I mean they’ve never been used as guinea pigs by the government, have they? The rest of the unvaccinated population is white people who realized that everything they’re ancestors let society get away with doing to black people is starting to come back on them.\nAnd that’s probably what COVID is too. The west kicks around China for 100 years, so Karma sends a virus from China to cripple our economies. Same thing with the wildfires. We dump our toxic waste into the atmosphere, so the planet gets warmer and warmer and now we’re choking on smoke until the rain comes back.       "body": "Hey what’s up internet? It’s Friday morning here on the West Coast and time for me to write some shit. Sometimes I wonder if I’m trying too hard to sound like a radio D.J.  Probably, oh well, what can you do?\n\n\nSo I was thinking earlier about how weird it is that a lot of people are against gay couples having kids. Considering all the extra shit they have to go through, when any two random straight people can just hook up at a bar and make a baby in the parking lot, I’d say the vast majority of gay parents are being way more responsible.  They have to do all sorts of planning and go through all sorts of processes that can take years and not even work and are probably way less enjoyable than your half assed attempt to pull out. Probably even more irritating than the rash you had the next day. .  But that’s conservative logic.  Somehow the people who put the most effort into becoming parents are the least qualified to be parents.  A lot of these are the same people who tell you immigrants are destroying America, when these same immigrants are more American than they are.  I certainly didn’t have to pass a citizen test to be born here. Meanwhile these people actually have to learn the whole constitution, not just the 2nd amendment, or whatever part says the government can’t pay for healthcare. \nBut hey, a lot of these are the same people that Donald Trump managed to convince that he is literally the second coming of Jesus Christ. And maybe to them he is in some twisted way. I’m sure they think he was “crucified” in the White House, but he will be back! Which is why people are continuing to donate money to his “Stop the steal!” campaign, even though none of it is actually going towards “Stopping the steal.”  Not that I have any idea what else people could have expected from a New York  real estate dealer. But I heard not too long ago that the entire Trump organization is being indicted for tax fraud now.  That’s how they always get you.  They certainly don’t get you for war crimes. Shit, I remember when George W. Bush destroyed Iraq then got in a helicopter and flew away to his ranch where he’d hide out and paint kitty cats while Obama destroyed Libya. Then after Trump gets in he starts doing talk shows and the “Left” welcomes him back like a hero. Not an indictment between the two of them, but I’m supposed to be excited that they’re going after Trump for not paying his taxes.   Get Bezos to pay his taxes, then I’ll be impressed.  But no matter what they do go after a President for, they’ll never go after one for war crimes. This goes back at least as far as when Nixon was almost impeached. Of all the articles of impeachment drawn up against him, one was for the illegal bombing of Cambodia, and it was thrown out. Which I think pretty much established that the President can bomb whoever they want without repercussions. Bigger than any country. Bigger than Russia, Bigger than the U.S. itself, bigger than China.. But I never hear people talk about that in their climate change discussion.  People always talk about whether it’s more on corporations or consumers to change their behavior. Personally, I think it’s on consumers to hold corporations accountable, because if you leave it to the people who benefit most from the system then they’re just going to launch some fake ass “green initiative” while making as little substantive change as they can get away with.  Which isn’t very much because a lot of people will just see a green label on something and assume it’s better for the environment. Meanwhile  all they really did was raise the price and put the proceeds towards the boss clearly compensating for his small penis with a dick shaped rocket.  BUT! Even he has nowhere near the carbon footprint of the U.S. Military, with all of their ships, and jets, and drones and tanks and jeeps and whathaveyou just spraying CO2 non-stop all over the globe. But we can’t even talk about cutting back on that. Gotta protect our privileged way of life from all the scary bad guys. I’d be more inclined to say the technocratic corporate oligarchy that’s seeking to control and monetize every  fragment of our lives, but “The Devil” is easier for a lot of other people to understand.  So I agree and he keeps going on talking about the devil and God and angels and such, and I just listen and consider the things he’s saying until my bus pulls up.  Hey, sometimes people just need someone to listen to them for a minute.  That’s probably the whole reason I do this blog. \nThe whole interaction did get me to thinking though, about how convinced people are of their own importance. I don’t mean this guy in particular, I mean our species.  One thing this guy told me is that humans are the only thing with a soul and free will. Apparently this is what led the angels to rebel against God too.  Now I’ve heard this from several people in my life, and the whole argument never really held water for me.  It’s amazing how people often miss the gaping holes in their own logic sometimes. For one thing, if angels don’t have free will, how did any of them ever rebel against God? It just seems to me that, beyond F=15s and nuclear weapons, the one thing you need to rebel is free will.  So did God order them to rebel?  Do we find out after all this time that the whole War in Heaven was just the divine version of the FBI setting up a terror plot so they can foil it? How many confidential informants were in Lucifer’s army? I think it’s long past time congress held an investigation into that whole fiasco, frankly. But then there’s the other question I often feel compelled to ask. How are so many people so certain that only human beings have a soul? I know it’s not all of them. Some believe that every living thing has a soul and some believe that even rocks and rivers and mountains do. I tend to lean more in that direction myself.   And have you met dolphins? They really act like something with free will. And who can look in a dog’s eyes and tell me they don’t have a soul?  But humans seem uniquely assured of their own importance. Not just religious folk either, there’s plenty of atheists that will tell you about the things we can do to save the planet. When really the best thing we can do for the planet is leave. So I guess I would salute the likes of Richard Branson, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk for doing just that, but unfortunately they’re all coming back. Because the simplest solution is always unthinkable. I don’t think that anyone in particular’s law yet, so I’m going to go ahead and claim it as J Tru’s law. \nOf course, this kind of species wide self importance filters down too, and you get nations that think they’re the most important in the world, like the U.S.. Have you even notice that whenever trouble pops up somewhere in the world, right away some people are saying the U.S. needs to intervene, even though this hasn’t really worked out in the last 75 years. But it’s also only in specific countries.  People freak out that the Taliban taking over Afghanistan is going to be a disaster for women’s rights there, but on the other hand, fuck the women of Saudi Arabia, they don’t need our help, just the women of Afganistan.  Then there’s Cuba. A few CIA plants pop up in the streets waving signs around and right away people over here are calling for airstrikes. Meanwhile Haiti is right next door and people don’t seem to want to talk as much about that mess, even though I’m pretty sure we just had their president killed.  But hey, it’s just another example of  how socialism doesn’t work. Oh sure, it sounds good in theory, but when people try to put it into practice, the U.S. just starves them with an embargo for 60 years. The best way the U.S. could intervene in Cuba is by stopping that nonsense. But that’s just another example of J Tru’s law. Some of it we’re not even allowed to talk about. Or maybe you can now but Facebook will think you’re a dangerous extremist.   But I’ve noticed that a lot of it comes down to victim blaming. This country loves to blame victims. I mean most of us know about how when a woman reports a rape, one of the first questions she’ll be asked is what she was wearing. That’s just one example. Then there’s the larger example of the Right and Left blaming each other for fucking up the country when they’re both victims of corporate media brainwashing.  Interestingly, most of the mainstream media is owned by two large investment firms now. So we’re almost there! We’ve almost got one company in control of all of the information we get. Even better, one of these companies is also heavily invested in Facebook and Google.  And this same com[any has a big stake in Pfizer. Isn’t that weird? Well, I’m sure they have the best intentions.  Another group we like to blame is immigrants.  People get mad about them “Stealing obs”, but they don’t get mad at the companies who exploit them or the government that fucks with their countries making them have to leave in the first place.  As if these people were just sitting around one day and said “Hey! Let’s leave our homes and everything we know behind to trek through jungles and mountains and desert to get to the place where everyone hates us!”  It’s always the people at the bottom who take all the shit isn’t it?  Then there’s COVID. Same thing. We had the audacity to blame that on poor Chinese people eating bats from a wet market, and if someone even suggested that it could have gotten out of the lab in the same city that was researching the same kind of virus, well then somehow that is a racist conspiracy theory.. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but I think it’s a lot more racist to blame it on poor Chinese people who don’t even get a vote in their government. Seems like that would be more likely to incite all the anti-Asian violence we’ve been hearing about.  Yet some people seem to be convinced that anything you say about the government of China somehow applies to all Chinese people, or even all Asians. And to me that sounds racist as fuck, honestly.. Especially if this lab was funded by American scientists with American money.   Imagine if this virus had broken out in a Russian city that just happened to have a virology lab. These same people would have been calling for a nuclear war by April. \nBut hey, that’s all just speculation, and at the end of the day I’m just a guy with a keyboard who doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about. So don’t listen to me. Honestly I’m kind of biased too.  I’m biased in the sense that I tend to side with the powerless of the powerful. Whenever some shit’s going crazy in the world, I immediately jump to the conclusion that it’s the fault of someone with power. Not people just doing their grocery shopping. Not when I haven’t been able to buy groceries without a mask on for a year and some change. So I tend to be skeptical when multi-billionaires tell me to blame all of my problems on someone just trying to get by just like me.  That’s my bias. So all that’s left to say is fuck it!       "body": "Hey, what's up internets? It’s Saturday morning and time for me to write some shit to share with you. But what to write about? I’ve certainly had some ideas over the week, but far be it from me to actually write them down. But one important piece of news is that I finally took the step of disabling Facebook on my phone today, since they just seem to get creepier and creepier by the day. I’ve already stopped posting these blogs there. They shut my page for them down a long time ago anyway and frankly I’m ok with that at this point.  I’ll now only be posting them to Steemit, Minds, and MeWe. So follow me on one or more of those and give me some up votes! Whatever that means to Mark Zuckerberg, who hands out 30 day bans like COVID at a Trump rally. Surprisingly I’ve never gotten a 30 day ban, but I did get a one day ban for complimenting someone’s artwork. Which was a drawing of their ass that they posted in a private group. So who knows what this motherfucker considers “extremist content.  I've considered myself an extremist since I read 1984. But all I’m ever gonna do is talk shit on this blog. Meanwhile this technocrat probably wouldn’t hesitate to have me thrown into the back of a van and trucked off to a black site somewhere.  Meanwhile the “Left” will cheer him on for safeguarding  Democracy, because they’re just fucking sad and useless now.   I saw this post the other day calling out the media for paying more attention to Beyonce than they do to 50 people being killed by an airstrike in Syria.  Thing is, I saw it in a group that makes fun of right-wing memes. So it really says a lot about the state of the “left” in America if that’s considered a right wing meme. Go figure. A lot of these are they same people who had now problem watching small businesses shut down over the last year while the wealthiest people in the world got wealthier by billions. Because they want a fair and equal world, in theory, but not at the expense of being able to go shopping without getting out of bed. Because honestly, isn’t that what the American dream is really all about?\nIn other news, Portland, Oregon reached a high of 116 degrees over the last week, which 20 years ago would have been considered an “alarmist” scenario.. So does any of this shit really matter? At this rate it won’t be long until we're all roasting like Donald Rumsfeld is in Hell right now.  Actually I like to think demons with the faces of dead Iraqi children are peeling his flesh off and eating it, then  it regenerates itself and cooks all over again. But that might be a little extreme. What can I say? I don’t have much of a soft spot for mass murderers these days. Especially the ones that send young kids fresh out of high school to do their killing for them, and  then let them be homeless when they get back.       "body": "Hey everyone out there in the lands of the internetz. It’s Saturday morning here on the west coast and it’s hot as FUUUUUCK! We’re expecting triple-digit temperatures  here in the next few days. I know to people down  in Arizona and shit  that doesn't sound like a big deal, but if I wanted to deal with that shit I’d have moved to the desert instead of the Northwest. In fact, Seattle  only reached temperatures of 100 degrees three times since white people started keeping track of it, and now we’re expecting 3 100+ degree days in a row. I mean it almost feels like the climate is changing somehow. There’s no sense worrying about a problem if the solution is going to cost money and be inconvenient. The best we can hope for is that the wealthiest, and therefore most deserving to survive, and get themselves to a new planet  as for the rest of us, I just wonder how all the people who resisted wearing masks for the last year are going to to feel when we have to put on a space suit to leave the house?\nBut thankfully, I picked the right spot on the coast to move to. Judging by all the recent heat maps I’ve seen this is definitely the place to be on the west coast. Sometimes I wonder why  I moved here and then I remind myself that it’s surrounded by mountains and I can get to Canada quickly if I need to.  It’s just one example of the many ways I’ve been blessed in my life.  And having just finished yet another trip around the Sun, I’ve had several reminders of it lately.
