      "body": "The US dollar is trading near seven week highs as economic data has been solid, the central bank is still pushing for a third rate hike and the tax reform proposal is moving forward. Leading manufacturing and non manufacturing indicators have improved and rising exports have shrunk the trade deficit to a yearly low but questions remain on the effect the tropical storms will have on the biggest economic indicator in the market.\n\nThe U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the non farm payrolls (NFP) report on Friday, October 6 at 8:30 am EDT. The economy is forecasted to have added 82,000 positions in September. The impact of hurricanes Harvey and Irma is to blame for the underperformance but given the resilience of the economy the possibility of the final figure beating expectations is not far fetched.\n\nThe ADP private payrolls report came in close to the forecast with 135,000 jobs and unemployment claims rose by 260,000 when a 266,000 gain was anticipated. Fed FOMC voting members were in full force this week and today’s comments from Philadelphia Fed chief Patrick Harker that while the 2 percent inflation target will remain untouched he still believes there should be another rate hike. The CME FedWatch tool shows a 86.7 percent probability of the interest rate moving higher to a 125 to 150 basis points range.\n\nSource: OANDA",

The Lord has promised us a full and abundant life.\n\n<i>John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”</i>\n\n<i>Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”</i>\n\n<i>Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.“</i>\n\nThe bible is full of God’s promises on how pleased he is on giving us a full and happy life. Our God is a generous God and He delights in our well-being. He wants the best for us and He would gladly and generously give us everything that He wills for us.\n\nBUT, we seem to have always fallen short to living that full and abundant life that the Lord has promised us. \n\nUnderstand that our God is a God of no limits. He is so big that he contains everything in the palm of His hands. He has no shortcomings. He cannot be extinguished. He is the beginning and the end, but He also has no beginning and no end. He is endless. He is infinite. He is timeless so He is never time-bound.\n\nEverything that keeps us from achieving our purpose, and anything that keeps us from using our potential and stopping us from living a full and abundant life comes from ourselves alone, thus it is also us who can break and overcome the limitations. God can surely help us in breaking the chains of limitations in our lives but the decision to choose to break them starts in us.\n\nHere are a few things that I believe is limiting us to live God’s promises:\n\n<b>SIN</b>\n\n<i>Colossians 3:5  “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.”</i>\n\n<i>Psalms 119:133 “Direct my footsteps according to your word;\nlet no sin rule over me.”</i>\n\nGod hates sin. Sin separates us from God. God is holy and perfect and our sinfulness discredits us from going to Him, but because of His perfect love for us, He gave us His Son, Jesus Christ so that in Him we will be made righteous. If we continue sinning and living a life of sin, we cannot claim God’s perfect and holy promises for our lives. Sin is one thing that limits us from God’s perfect will for us.\n\n<b>FEAR AND DOUBTS</b>\n\n<i>James 1:6 “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”</i>\n\n<i>Psalm 23:4  “Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”</i>\n\nWe are called to live by faith and not by sight. If we get distracted and discouraged with the things of this world, we are wasting our time. We should always keep our eyes on what is unseen, on God’s promises and keep that faith high all times because faith enables us to experience God’s miracles. Fear and doubts are like seeds planted in our hearts and when we entertain these thoughts, we are grooming these to grow. This does not please the Lord. Faith pleases him so when faced with challenges and trials, take them as an opportunity to exercise your faith and please the Lord.\n\n<b>MOTIVES</b>\n\n<i>Proverbs 21: 2 “People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their heart.”</i>\n\n<i>Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?”</i>\n\nGod looks at our hearts in whatever we do. He is not interested in the output or the finished product, He is interested in our hearts, our motives on why we do what we do. We are ought to do everything out of love. Our hearts are deceptive, when our hearts are clouded with selfish interest and vain ambitions, we are slowly taking the path that corrupts our intentions. In everything that we do, we should do it out of the purest and most genuine intention to serve and save others. If we fail in this area, I believe we are working in vain and we will not be able to enjoy God’s perfect will for us.\n\n<b>LIFESTYLE</b>\n\n<i>Proverbs 10: 9 “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,\nbut whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”</i>\n\n<i>Psalm 1:1 “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked\nor stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.”</i>\n\n<i>Romans 12: 2 “ Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.</i>\n\nWe are given this life to fulfill our purpose. We are created for a purpose. We ought to live our lives in accordance with our purpose. Our purpose is solely found in God alone. Living life can be very challenging in these very changing world. But as believers of Christ, we have one standard that will never change and that is Jesus Christ. We should live our lives right before Him. We are put in this world not to embrace the standards of this world but to be the salt and light in this bland and dark world. Living right enables us to hear clearly from the Lord. A godly lifestyle can bring us closer to God’s promises in our lives.\n\n<b>CHARACTER</b>\n\n<i>Proverbs 21: 3  “To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.”</i>\n\n>i>Proversb 11:3 “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.”</i>\n\nCharacter is one of the most important thing that we should always try to examine. Our character can either make or break our belief system. Our character reflects what kind of God we are serving. God is our potter and we are the clay, He continues to mold us and shape our character until we become the person He intends us to be. Life is a character forming agenda, and as follower of Christ, we should always make it our goal to be more like Him as we age in this life. Our character is a vital key in enjoying God’s promises.\n\nThese chains of limitations are not there to stop us from achieving and enjoying God’s perfect will. These chains are there for us to break and overcome. Jesus Christ has already overcome this world through the cross. And as we follow Him genuinely, we will also be able to get the strength and courage to overcome these limitations and soak in God’s promises. These chains of limitations shouldn’t hinder us, yes maybe it could slow down our pace, but these should never ever hinder us from pressing on and running towards our Prize and Goal which is in Christ Jesus.",

My first wife died after a long illness when she was 30 despite all my prayers and the prayers of the people in our church. She was a wonderful person and she touched a lot of lives. Perhaps, as Christians we have this as our life mantra. We are called to live our life by faith and be strong and courageous with whatever life will throw us. But really, is our faith truly bigger than our fears? Do we really mean it from our hearts when we say “My faith is bigger than my fears and I am confident to meet all the storms in my life”?\n\nOur human nature kicks in when faced with life troubles. We lose sight of hope. We magnify our weaknesses. We doubt our abilities. We let go of our drive. We get discouraged. And then we give up. It’s easier to let the breeze of life carry us than to fight against it. But as Christians, we know that everything that will happen in our lives is always a spiritual battle first. We also know that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. We know that the Lord will fight for us and that He will fight our battles. But why, despite all the knowledge we have about God always backing us up in times of trouble, do we still fear more than have faith that we are just passing through this storm.\n\nFor me, I think the answer is because we dont really know who God is in our lives. Yes, we know what He is capable of but we don’t really know for sure if He will do the miraculous and supernatural in our very own life. Trust and Relationship. This is what makes or limits our faith to grow. We don’t know God in an intimate level. We only see Him as someone superior and high above us, but we never really taken deep to the core of our hearts that He is also a friend and a Father. We believe in our head that He redeems and saves us but we did not really believe in our hearts.\n\n<i>David said  “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” (Psalm 56:3)</i>\n\n  Can we say the same thing? Do we trust God? The only way we can trust someone is if we know that person intimately and closely. We need to know God through our hearts and we need to have that intimate relationship with Him. We need to realize how big His love is for us.\n\n<i>In 1 John 4:18 it says, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”</i> \n\nIf we soak in God’s love and realize how big and endless His love is for us then we have nothing to fear. God is not a distant God. Our relationship with him is not meant to be like those with an LDR (Long distance relationship) status. He is sweet, intimate, and ever present. The only time we can truly feel His presence is when we make a decision to open our hearts for Him and make Him our number one priority over anything and anyone else. He is the Alpha and Omega, He knows the start and the end, so why do we have to fear when we have someone who has already gone before us and knows what step to take next for us to reach our destination (“Then he placed his right hand on me and said: ‘Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.’” Revelation 1:17).\n\nBe assured and believe in your hearts that God is with us every step that we make. Let us not let the worries of this world overtake us. Let not the weight of our problems downsize how big God is. Let us believe in our hearts that God will fight for us and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let’s make a decision to know God personally and make Him our friend and Father so we can truly rebuke any fear in our hearts and grow our faith in Him.\n\n<b>Do not Fear.Be of Good Courage. Be strong and Courageous. All our worries and unbelief, give it all to Him. Surrender it on the cross and start believing in the power of His great love for us. We usually want to meet the one who would make our world go round. The one who could complete us and make the butterflies in our stomach go cray-cray. And this is a good thing, nothing wrong with wanting to feel all those. It's actually healthy  for us both physically and emotionally. This is what love can actually do to us. It makes us crazy and sane at the same time.\n\nBut you see, falling in love is no joke. Falling in love is a very pleasant thing but it is dangerous and sometimes it could be a false god to many. Sometimes love controls us. As they say it, \"love is blind\", this is very true. The person in love will tend to see only the good things ab0ut the person and we justify whatever negative or wrong things the person commits in his life. Falling in love is something to evaluate, not something we openly give ourselves to. So the question now is, how do we choose our SOULmate? or shall I say SOLEmate? I've been reading this book entitled \" The Sacred Search\" by Gary Thomas. And I just want to share a few things that I found important as you choose your future spouse.\n\nFirst and Foremost, we can never find our SOULmate in this world, because no one could truly fill and satisfy us than the one who created us. Our SOULmate is God Himself. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let's get that clear before anything else.\n\nWhat we want to find is our SOLEmate. Sole is the underside of the foot or shoe. SOLEmate is the person you want to walk with you for the rest of your life. The one who will help you with your journey and who will be there for you and with you wherever life will take you.\n\n<b>So how do we carefully choose our SOLEmate?</b>\n\n1.) Ofcourse first and foremost, the person should also have God as his SOULmate.\n\n2.) Choose a person who is ruled by the Holy Spirit and not ruled by the flesh.\n\nYou don't want to fall into sin while you journey together to marriage. And you don't want someone who only wants the satisfaction of his flesh. Choose someone who values morality over flesh desires.\n\n3.) Character Over Status. Don't marry a \"Position\". Marry a \"Person\".\n\nLadies, It's not enough that he is a youth pastor, or a missionary, or a worship leader, or a preacher.  The positions we are holding is not a testimony of our character. The way we treat others and the lowly is the true testimony of character. Do not be easily swayed with position but know the person carefully and evaluate his character.\n\n4.)Use wisdom, not destiny.\n\nGod gave us a sound mind, and we should always use our wisdom in choosing a partner. Wisdom that comes from the word of God. Do not be controlled by chances or destiny. Do not be deceived by emotions and compatibiliy. Always always use wisdom. You cannot rely on your emotions and feelings when choosing a spouse. Rely on God's voice and ask for discernment from the Holy Spirit to help you decide on things.\n\n5.) Be with someone whom you can share a mission with.\n\nYou see, love is a fluctuation feeling. It can come and go. Choose someone who shares the same mission with you. Because the mission that you will do together as years pass by will be the bond that will bridge you to forever. A relationship that is solely based on love and compatibility will always fail- all because our feelings and emotions fluctuate every now and then. Choose someone who is equally yoked with your belief, purpose and calling. You do not want to be dragging your partner or pushing him/her to the pace you are walking in. Sooner or later you will feel exhausted and tired.
