Felicitar a todos y todas los integrantes de esta ilustre comunidad cristiana e invitarles para que todos juntos nos coloquemos en comunión con nuestro padre celestial.\n\n#\n\nSubiendo Jesús a Jerusalén, tomando aparte a los Doce, les dijo por el camino: «Mirad, estamos subiendo a Jerusalén, y el Hijo del hombre va a ser entregado a los sumos sacerdotes y a los escribas, y lo condenarán a muerte y lo entregarán a los gentiles, para que se burlen de él, lo azoten y lo crucifiquen; y al tercer día resucitará».\n\n#\n\nEntonces se le acercó la madre de los hijos de Zebedeo con sus hijos y se postró para hacerle una petición. Él le preguntó: «¿Qué deseas?». Ella contestó: «Ordena que estos dos hijos míos se sienten en tu reino, uno a tu derecha y el otro a tu izquierda». Pero Jesús replicó: «No sabéis lo que pedís. ¿Podéis beber el cáliz que yo he de beber?». Contestaron: «Podemos». Él les dijo: «Mi cáliz lo beberéis; pero sentarse a mi derecha o a mi izquierda no me toca a mí concederlo, es para aquellos para quienes lo tiene reservado mi Padre».\n\n#\n\nLos otros diez, al oír aquello, se indignaron contra los dos hermanos. Y llamándolos, Jesús les dijo: «Sabéis que los jefes de los pueblos los tiranizan y que los grandes los oprimen. No será así entre vosotros: el que quiera ser grande entre vosotros, que sea vuestro servidor, y el que quiera ser primero entre vosotros, que sea vuestro esclavo.\nIgual que el Hijo del hombre no ha venido a ser servido sino a servir y a dar su vida en rescate por muchos». ¿Por qué los hombres mataron a Jesús, al Hijo de Dios?\n\n#\n\nLo hemos oído tantas veces, que ya no nos sorprende. De no conocer el relato de este evangelio, de la muerte y resurrección de Jesús, nuestra sorpresa sería monumental. ¿Por qué condenan a muerte a Jesús? Sus palabras, su vida ¿incitan al odio, a la subversión, a la injusticia, al enfrentamiento de unos contra otros, a la guerra? He asked her, \"What do you want?\" She replied: \"Order that these two sons of mine sit in your kingdom, one on your right and the other on your left.\" But Jesus replied: “You do not know what you are asking. Can you drink the cup that I have to drink?». They replied, \"We can.\" He said to them: “You will drink my cup; but to sit on my right or on my left is not up to me to grant it, it is for those for whom my Father has reserved it». \n\n# \n\nThe other ten, hearing this, were indignant against the two brothers. And calling them, Jesus said to them: “You know that the leaders of the peoples tyrannize them and that the great ones oppress them. It will not be so among you: whoever wants to be great among you, let him be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you, let him be your slave. Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.\" Why did men kill Jesus, the Son of God? \n\n# \n\nWe have heard it so many times that it no longer surprises us. If we did not know the story of this gospel, of the death and resurrection of Jesus, our surprise would be monumental. Why do they condemn Jesus to death? His words, his life, do they incite hatred, subversion, injustice, confrontation of one against another, war? Felicitar a todos y todas los integrantes de esta ilustre comunidad cristiana e invitarles para que todos juntos nos coloquemos en comunión con nuestro padre celestial.\n\n#\n\nEn nuestro camino hacia Dios podemos experimentar momentos especiales, situaciones en que nos encontramos en suelo sagrado y sentimos la Presencia de Dios. \nAsí se sentía Pedro cuando fue testigo de la Transfiguración de Jesús. Pedro quería que esa maravillosa experiencia no terminara y le dijo al Señor, déjanos levantar tres chozas, para Ti, para Moisés y para Elías. Jesús lo bajó a tierra, lo guió hasta el pie del cerro y le dijo que no hablara sobre la visión; en vez de ello, se preparara para el Calvario.\n\n#\n\nEl acontecimiento de la Transfiguración que nos narra el Evangelio, fue un anticipo de la gloria de la Resurrección, previo a los días tristes, amargos y oscuros que habían de vivir de la Pasión dolorosa, aunque ni Pedro, ni Santiago ni Juan lo tuvieron en cuenta en esos momentos ni lograron vislumbrar todo su alcance.\n\n#\n\n En la ocasión, Pedro toma la palabra: «Maestro, bueno que estemos aquí». No hay que olvidar, eso sí, que para haber tenido esa experiencia, del Misterio de Dios, hay que subir una alta cumbre… el evangelio de hoy, no nos narra las peripecias y dificultades, sólo pone atención en lo central. Sin embargo, la experiencia de la Transfiguración confirmaba que Jesús con su opción de Mesías Siervo constituía una ayuda para liberarlos de sus ideas falsas sobre el Mesías y descubrir un nuevo significado del Reino de Dios.\n\n#\n\nEs bueno pensar cómo cada uno de nosotros tiene, a su modo, una experiencia de transfiguración. Por esta, el Señor nos invita a estar con él y nos deja entrever la vida nueva y deslumbrante que nos espera. La identificación de Moisés y Elías, que aparecen rodeados de gloria, y hablan con Jesús de su partida, que habría de cumplir en Jerusalén, nos conecta con el pasado y con la tradición de la ley y de la profecía. Los discípulos tienen sueño pero permanecen despiertos; están en vigilia a pesar del adormecimiento, y por eso ven la gloria de aquellos tres hombres.\n\n#\n\nJesús precisamente en el sufrimiento cercano, en el desconcierto, ante los momentos duros que se avecinan... ora y busca el apoyo y la luz del Padre... Mientras ora, se escucha la voz del Padre: «Éste es mi hijo amado, escuchadle». This is how Peter felt when he witnessed the Transfiguration of Jesus. Peter wanted that wonderful experience not to end and he told the Lord, let us build three huts, for You, for Moses and for Elijah. Jesus lowered him to the ground, guided him to the foot of the hill and told him not to talk about the vision; instead, he will prepare for Calvary. \n\n# \n\nThe event of the Transfiguration that the Gospel tells us, was a foretaste of the glory of the Resurrection, prior to the sad, bitter and dark days that they had to live from the painful Passion, although neither Peter, nor James nor John had it in mind. account at that time nor did they manage to glimpse its full scope. # On the occasion, Pedro speaks: «Master, it is good that we are here». Felicitar a todos y todas los integrantes de esta ilustre comunidad cristiana e invitarles para que todos juntos nos coloquemos en comunión con nuestro padre celestial.\n\n#\n\nHoy volvemos a vivir las bienaventuranzas y las “malaventuranzas”: «Bienaventurados vosotros...», si ahora sufrís en mi nombre; «Ay de vosotros...», si ahora reís.\n\n#\n\n La fidelidad a Cristo y a su Evangelio hace que seamos rechazados, escarnecidos en los medios de comunicación, odiados, como Cristo fue odiado y colgado en la cruz. Hay quien piensa que eso es debido a la falta de fe de algunos, pero quizá —bien mirado— es debido a la falta de razón.\n\n#\n\n El mundo no quiere pensar ni ser libre; vive inmerso en el anhelo de la riqueza, del consumo, del adoctrinamiento libertario que se llena de palabras vanas, vacías donde se oscurece el valor de la persona y se burla de la enseñanza de Cristo, ya que —hoy por hoy— es el único pensamiento que ciertamente va contra corriente. \n\n#\n\nA pesar de todo, el Señor Jesús nos infunde coraje: «Bienaventurados seréis cuando los hombres os odien, cuando os expulsen, os injurien y proscriban vuestro nombre como malo, por causa del Hijo del hombre (...). Vuestra recompensa será grande en el cielo» (Lc 6, 22.23).\n\n#\n\nSan Juan Pablo II, en la encíclica Fides et Ratio, dijo: «La fe mueve a la razón a salir de su aislamiento y a apostar, de buen grado, por aquello que es bello, bueno y verdadero».\n La experiencia cristiana en sus santos nos muestra la verdad del Evangelio y de estas palabras del Santo Padre. Ante un mundo que se complace en el vicio y en el egoísmo como fuente de felicidad, Jesús muestra otro camino: la felicidad del Reino del Dios, que el mundo no puede entender, y que odia y rechaza. \n\n#\n\nEl cristiano, en medio de las tentaciones que le ofrece la “vida fácil”, sabe que el camino es el del amor que Cristo nos ha mostrado en la cruz, el camino de la fidelidad al Padre. Sabemos que en medio de las dificultades no podemos desanimarnos. Si buscamos de verdad al Señor, alegrémonos y saltemos de gozo (cf. Gracias Señor por haber cuidado de mí, de mi familia y de nuestro hogar durante la noche que ya pasó y gracias porque estoy seguro que de tu mano, este será un día de bendición, de alegría y bienestar. Estoy convencido que Tú me creaste para ser feliz, para vivir cada momento de mi vida con fe, pasión y esperanza y no para esperar a que las cosas simplemente sucedan. \n\n#\n\nPor este motivo hoy me voy a poner en pie, voy a dar lo mejor de mí y trabajaré con amor para alcanzar todas mis metas y mis grandes propósitos.
