      "body": "Cardano Aims to Create a Stable Cryptocurrency Ecosystem \n\nWhat Is Cardano? \n\nEven as they have skyrocketed to prominence in the last couple of years, most cryptocurrencies have had chaotic growth trajectories. Scandals, hacks, and disagreements that resulted in hard forks have brought a bad rep to their ecosystem. \n\nCardano is a blockchain project founded by Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of ethereum, to “provide a more balanced and sustainable ecosystem” for cryptocurrencies. According to its website, ADA is the only coin with a “scientific philosophy and research-driven approach.” In practical terms, this means that its open-source blockchain undergoes a rigorous peer-review process by scientists and programmers in academia.\n\n\n\nThe non-profit foundation that runs Cardano has also partnered with a bunch of academic institutions to research and review all aspects of its blockchain. For example, researchers at Lancaster University are developing a “reference treasury model” to find a sustainable way to fund future development for Cardano's blockchain. \n\nHow Is Cardano Different From Bitcoin and Ethereum? \n\nDespite its projectile increase in less than two months, ADA is somewhat of an outlier in the volatile world of cryptocurrencies. \n\nADA calls itself the first third-generation cryptocurrency and aims to tackle scaling and infrastructure problems that first cropped up in bitcoin, a first-generation cryptocurrency that introduced the idea of digital coins, and ethereum, a second-generation cryptocurrency that expanded use cases for coins to smart contracts. Specifically, Cardano aims to solve problems related to scalability, interoperability, and sustainability on cryptocurrency platforms. \n\nThe first problem refers to the slowing down of networks and high fees due to increase in transaction volumes. (See also: Will High Transaction Fees Bring Down Bitcoin's Price?) Cardano’s algorithm Ouroboros has been put forward as a possible solution to its scaling problems.\n\nOuroboros utilizes a Proof of Stake (PoS) approach to save on energy costs and enable faster transaction processing. Instead of having a copy of individual blockchains on each node (as is common in bitcoin), Cardano’s blockchain streamlines the number of nodes in a network by appointing a leaders responsible for verifying and validating transactions from a collection of nodes.  Subsequently, the leader node pushes transactions to the main network. \n\nCardano has also adopted RINA (Recursive Internetworked Architecture) to scale its network. This network topology was first developed by John Day and enables customized increments to heterogenous networks. Hoskinson has said that he wants Cardano’s protocols to reach the standards of TCP/IP, the dominant protocol used on the Internet for exchange of data. (See also: 4 Blockchain Contenders In Competition With Ethereum.)  \n\nInteroperability relates to the portability of a cryptocurrency both within its natural ecosystem and in its interface with the existing global finance ecosystem. Currently, there is no way to perform cross-chain transactions between cryptocurrencies or to conduct a seamless transaction involving cryptocurrencies and the global finance ecosystem. Exchanges, which crash or charge exorbitant fees, are the only intermediaries.  An assortment of regulations pertaining to customer and transaction identities has further distanced the cryptocurrency ecosystem from its global counterpart.  \n\nCardano aims to enable cross chain transfers through side chains, which conduct transactions between two parties off chain. It is also exploring ways for institutions and individuals to selectively divulge metadata related to transactions and identities to enable use of cryptocurrencies for trading and daily transactions. \n\nFinally, sustainability is about governance structures that provide incentives to miners and other stakeholders and about evolving a self-sustaining economic model for the cryptocurrency. In addition to this, it aims to build what its creators describe as a \"constitution\" of protocols to avoid messy hard forks (such as the ones that occurred in bitcoin and ethereum).\n\nIn the future, protocols will be hard coded into Cardano blockchains and applications using the protocol, such as online exchanges and wallets, will automatically check for compliance as the applications are being built. The automation could also cut down time required to discuss and implement forks. Hoskinson has referred to it as “mechanization of a social process.”     \n\nWhat Is The Market For Cardano? \n\nFor now, Cardano’s primary use case is as a cryptocurrency. ADA, its cryptocurrency, is part of Cardano’s settlement layer. Cardano is often to as the “Japanese ethereum” and reports last year indicated that it was being made available in Japan through ATMs and debit cards. \n\nCardano has ambitious plans for the future and intends to move beyond the settlement layer to a Control layer, which will serve as a “trusted computation framework” for sophisticated systems, such as gambling and gaming systems. Other applications outlined on its website are identity management, a credit system, and Daedalus, a universal cryptocurrency wallet with automated crypto trading facility and crypto to fiat conversion capabilities. It is not clear whether ADA would play an important role in the planned systems.  \n\nAs mentioned earlier, the non-profit foundation that runs Cardano has built up an extensive list of partner institutions to refine its algorithms and develop new governance structures. According to Hoskinson, the partnership is mutually beneficial because Cardano’s research projects align academic incentives with the cryptocurrency industry’s expectations. \n\nIs Cardano’s Current Valuation Justified?   \n\nAs impressive its pedigree and ambitions are, Cardano’s ADA has the same flaw as other cryptocurrencies. It has little to show by way of implementation. The blockchain was released only in September 2017, and the limited number of nodes within its network are all controlled by the foundation.\n\nHoskinson has said that its data scaling efforts will not bear fruit until 2019. Several innovations in the system, such as its aim of standardizing protocols, are still in research phase and will be implemented only as Cardano’s use cases grow. In its current state, Cardano's technology is also unproven.\n\nCritics have charged that an approach modeled on Proof of Stake could end up as a plutocracy, where nodes with highest stakes would run the show. Even as it conducts research to refine its algorithms, the Cardano foundation's roadmap indicates that a complete version of its technology will be released during the second quarter of this year. A more comprehensive evaluation of its prospects can only occur then.   \n\nThe cryptocurrency also faces fierce competition from other cryptocurrencies in a crowded ecosystem. Litecoin, a bitcoin offshoot, is angling for a similar role for daily transactions. Dash, which has inspired Cardano’s approach to governance, also has identical aspirations. Ripple might provide strong competition to Cardano’s ambitions of becoming a bridge between the existing financial system and cryptocurrencies.   \n\nIt would seem, then, that Cardano’s current price is not justified. However, it might be unwise to dismiss Cardano's valuation as a bubble. Present cryptocurrency prices are based on future markets. This means that traders are raking in profits based on future growth prospects. \n\nThe Bottom Line \n\nCardano boasts an impressive pedigree and a long-term vision for its blockchain and cryptocurrency. But it is still early days. While its initial use case is as a cryptocurrency, Cardano’s blockchain intends to expand beyond coins into a control layer that will provide services absent in the cryptocurrency ecosystem today.       "body": "![182882.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmWsFToeXmuT757j5b7QmRs931KDuB3SyzFGDAcvM52XnM/182882.jpg)\nEn este mundo cambia tantas cosas, como en el caso de personas que conocemos o personas a quien todo queremos., la educacion en los niños se da en casa mas que en las escuelas.\n\nHace años eramos una familia de hombres y mujeres, chicos jovenes, chicas jovenes entre todos primos , dado a que uno va creciendo se va desarrollando su futuro , uno termina la escuela y quiere ver el futuro estudiando fuera y crecer profesionalmente.\n\ncuando me fui a estudiar al extranjero era el unico joven que quedaba siendo hombre en la familia, ya que mis otros primos mayores que yo, tambien se enrumbaron al extranjero a estudiar y crecer profesionalmente, antes de irme tenia un pequeño sobrino de 6 años a quien siempre me queria , yo lo queria a el, pero tuvo que quedarse con mis primas y tias todas mujeres.\n\nsiempre me preocupaba por el como le hiba en la escuela era un chico sobresaliente , algo temeroso , me decian mis primas que no le gustaba los deportes y le gustaba escuchar musica pop , yo les decia que deben apoyarlo en alguna actividad o estar siempre escuchandolo si tiene algun problema ya que la adolescencia es muy dificil para ellos.\n\nluego estuve muy ausente el poder charlar nuevamente con el ya que la universidad y el trabajo me quitaba todo el tiempo , solo llegaba a casa luego de todo un dia a dormir, estuve en el extranjero fuera 12 años y solo hablaba con mi pequeño sobrino 2 veces al mes o 1 ya que a veces no lo ubicaba.\n\nregrese del extranjero luego de tiempo de turismo, con toda la alegria de la familia el verme despues de años, y vi a mi sobrino todo cambiado , el cabello largo , 18 años cumplidos era ya todo un joven adulto, sus ojos lloraban el verme ya que era su tio favorito, me decia mi familia que no se acercaba a hablar con nadie, se mantenia apartado de la gente, solo escuchaba musica pop, ponia poster en su cuarto de musica pop y todo ello.\n\nUn dia todo temeroso sale de su cuarto y me dice tio quiero hablar contigo, yo lo veia nervioso, no queria confiar en nadie mas que yo, sus ojos tenian ganas de llorar y me preocupe, me dijo entre palabras cortantes que era gay, yo en ese momento le escuchaba lo que me decia hasta el final, y le dije que no era correcto ya que lo note un chico que jugaba de pequeño a los carros, en eso no quize criticarlo , aconsejarlo que lo que estaba haciendo era dificil en su vida y que en ese momento era un momento de apoyarlo, le dije que ser gay no era malo, que sus preocupaciones me cuente y yo estoy listo para ayudarlo , de una vez lo agarre y lo abraze con mucha fuerza , y le dije tu eres mi sobrino se que es dificil el contarme esto , yo como familia nadie te dara la espalda de lo que eres, luego converse con su mama y con el y le explique la situacion , ahora el es apoyado por la familia comprende que el ser gay no es una enfermedad, el recibe el apoyo nuestro representado en cariño y comprension. \n\nahora luego que me fui de vuelta a trabajar al extranjero mas hablamos, lo llamo para saber como esta y siempre apoyandolo que la vida es bonita para seguir adelante y no encerrarse en 4 paredes en preocupaciones y soledad.\n\nel ser gay no representa nada malo, no hay que cerrar puertas a las personas que lo son, para mi caso mi sobrino es alguien a quien mas que nunca cuidare y protegere bastante.",

      "body": "![images51X8XS4V.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYMhB6Xe3tKFDhpZQJRahoFAscZC6VMnbRSMLd7s4ntwZ/images51X8XS4V.jpg)\n\nCuando eramos niños siempre nos ponemos en la idea de que nuestra vida sera placentera sin preocupaciones, sin adicciones, sin tomar las cosas con locura y de una manera normal.\n\nsiempre nuestros padres cuando nos llevaban a hacer chequeos deciamos , porque nosotros si soy un niño, soy joven para tener enfermedades, estan gastando su dinero por las puras., pero lo que nosotros no sabiamos era que eso se daba a la preocupacion de todo padre o madre sobre nuestra salud.\n\nluego de años uno pasar por varias etapas, primero la niñez , luego la adolescencia y por ultimo la adultez, de ahi tomamos la decision de irnos a chequear y walaaa tenemos problemas de salud, es una etapa que cuando uno ya pasa los 20 años nos encontramos con achaques y fatiga y ya no tenemos la condicion normal de años anteriores.\n\nla enfermedad que se me detecto fue una espondiloartritis, uno diria que es eso y como comenzo, son varios factores que empieza ello como una enfermedad silenciosa que se nos presenta a cierta edad.\n\nmuchos dirian y porque empezo eso, eso empezo porque uno cuando es niño ejerce presion al cargar cosas en la espalda y desde esa edad uno piensa que no representa ningun peligro para uno.\n\npero eso no es cierto!!\n\nla verdad actualmente esos problemas te limitan muchas cosas , el tratar de levantarte de la cama, el de acostarte por las noches , el de tomar analgesicos cuando te viene algun dolor, o esos episodios criticos que ya no aguantas mas y quieres tirar las cosas por la ventana y decir miles de palabras ofensivas a los medicos por no ayudar a uno.\n\nla verdad es que la culpa es de uno el no cuidarse.\n\ndoy esta reflexion a cada joven en realizar sus chequeos , si un padre te dice que es recomendable hacerte una revision, eso no quita nada mas bien eso te ayuda que no tengas problemas a futuro.\n\nuno desearia vivir como los asiaticos que la mayoria vive mas de 100 años, pero eso lo tenemos que proponernos nosotros, el hacer ejercicio, una alimentacion sana, chequeos una vez al año, restringuir las grasas en los alimentos, y hacer los deportes que a uno le gusta hacer.\n\nesta reflexión les dejo sobre mi situación y hacer conciencia a todo joven, y animo.",
