There is no doubt that to become wealthy you should have ownership in some time of investment.  Countries around the world that are poor have citizens that do not have any type of investment whatsoever and as a result, they live in poverty.  Now, you might say that these poor persons are in a country that oppresses them.  That is most likely true.\n\nHowever, in a country like the U.S., wealth creation can be achieved by understanding the environment around us.  The U.S. and similar countries allow their citizens to invest and develop property rights so that their citizens can increase their wealth.  This is an essential concept that you must understand.  To go to another country to invest time and effort to build wealth is not a good strategy.  I hear a lot that you should invest in China or emerging countries that have extremely poor citizens.  If you are to invest in these countries you should do so with careful attention along with a small percentage of your portfolio.  You should stick to what you know but at the same time be open to new opportunities.  \n\nWhy Create More Wealth\n\nWealth creation strategies are designed to make you happier and to propel you up the psycho-social ladder. This is so you can work on your personal passion in life without the concern of getting a paycheck every week.       "body": "What is Retail Arbitrage?\n\nOne of the easiest ways to make money online is to do retail arbitrage.  Today, there are many resources that you can use to get set-up and quickly start a business in retail arbitrage.  But before we get into the details let’s answer the question of what is retail arbitrage?\n\nRetail arbitrage is purchasing low priced products from some source, whether it be online or at a retail store, and taking these sourced products to be resold at a profit at a different store like Amazon.com or Ebay.com.  One of the biggest difficulties of online retail arbitrage is finding and sourcing products that have a low enough price to sell high on online retail websites for a profit. But, it can be done. We will talk about how this can be done.\n\nYou can source products from online and retail stores. I have other businesses that I tend to but retail arbitrage is fairly easy to the point where I can combine my own grocery and personal shopping with business shopping.\n\nTo be successful at retail arbitrage, I have read almost every book, blog post, and watched a ton of Youtube videos on the subject.  After successfully selling multiple products I would have to say that the business is easy as long as you do a complete job. Your main objective is to prevent yourself from having a loss on buying products that do not sell.  I will give you the information necessary on how to prevent losses.\n\nTo be successful at retail arbitrage you should have a plan in place.  I put together the following list so that you can gain a great understanding of how to be a retail arbitrage pro.\n\n1.Know what you want to sell and become an expert on.\n2.Find a source for the products that you want to sell.\n3. Purchase the sourced products with the intention to sell the products at a comfortable margin.\n4. Maintain inventory or ship inventory to Amazon FBA.\n5. Analyze the results.\n\nKnowing What to Sell\n\nRetail arbitrage requires focus.  You should focus your efforts on one or two sections of the store and hit it hard with your amazon seller app.  In retail arbitrage, you can resell two types of items:\n\nBooks\nNon-Book Consumer Discretionary Items (Electronics, Toys, Games, Beauty, Personal Care)\n\nYou can do both book and non-book selling if you would like to.  However, as you will find out below, book selling usually entails a longer time to sell your inventory than non-book items.\n\nBooks\n\nYou can find books to sell in many places besides a regular bookstore.  There are many places where you can find books for cheap where you can turn them into a profit by selling them on Amazon.com.  Here are several places and methods you can use to find profitable book opportunities.\n\nThrift shops usually have books for sale in them.  (i.e. Dollar store)\nClearance section at major bookstore chains.  (i.e. Barnes and Noble)\nGoodwill\nLibrary Book sales\nBooksalefinder.com\nGarage Sales\nAdvertise at Colleges and Universities for Book Buybacks\nSet up a website that buys books from the public.\nCraigslist\n\nAs you can see there a multitude of ways in which you can get books for cheap and turn them around for a profit.  A great aspect of looking for books to sell is the peripheral items that are sold next to them. A lot of times thrift shops will sell things like brainteasers, puzzles, and pictures that can be bought at a low price.  These items can be sold on Amazon or Ebay for a profit too.\n\nHowever, there is a problem with buying and selling books.  First, you must assess the condition of the book. Second, you must compare the condition of the book to what the other sellers are offering.  The lower the condition of the book the lower the profit. You can read more about how to assess the condition of a book by going to Amazon’s seller central.  You should also download the Amazon Seller application so that you can easily scan the barcode of a book and quickly see stats on whether or not you should buy and sell a book.\n\nIn my opinion, books and the peripheral items that are near them are usually higher than a 100,000 sales rank on Amazon.  This means that these items will be harder to sell. You could buy books and stuff at the bookstore. But you will find out that they do not sell quickly.  They could be on the shelf collecting dust for over a month.\n\nNon-Books\n\nBooks are profitable but buying highly desirable items are even better.  This is where I focus a majority of my retail arbitrage time. \n\nFirst you should know what section of the online and retail store that you want to focus on.  I know that the top two sections when it comes to sales are:\n\n1. Consumer Electronics\n2. Toys and Games\n\nThere are other sections that you can look at.  If you would like to explore more sections in detail, I recommend that you go to Amazon.com and click in the upper left-hand corner where it says “All”.  There you will find all of the sections that you can look at.\n\nFocusing on one or two sections is better than trying to be a master of everything.  You can easily go to a store and spend time in two sections. Spending a couple of hours in the whole store with your Amazon Sellers App will take almost the whole day.  So spend your time wisely. \n\nWhen you become an expert in two sections of the store you will eventually become knowledgeable of what sells and what does not.  You will gain an “eye” for items that will sell on Amazon or Ebay. You will know where to go and check out items that you have successfully sold in the past.  Stick to two or three at most to be successful.\n\nHowever, there are drawbacks to selling on a website like Amazon.com.  In fact, Amazon.com has restrictions on what you can and can not sell as an individual or an Amazon FBA seller.  You should read the restrictions in the categories section of the Amazon seller central website. There you will know what you can and can not sell.  Also, when you are scanning products online or at the stores with your Amazon Seller app the app will have a section that will tell you whether or not you can sell the item online.\n\nSourcing products from online websites and retail stores for a low price. You can source products from a website or at a store in your neighborhood. Most retail arbitrage professionals will visit the actual store to scan products with their Amazon Seller app.\n\nStore Sourcing\n\nSourcing products at Walmart, Target, Marshall’s, or Big Lots is a good thing to do.  You should go to the area that you are an expert at and scan using your Amazon Seller app for resale deals.  You should check the sales rank on your app along with whether or not you can sell the item on Amazon. You should also check the competition:\n\nIf the product is sold by Amazon.  Do not compete with Amazon.\nWhether or not they include free shipping.\nHow much competition you have.\nSome products are sold directly from Amazon’s warehouse so you would be competing with Amazon.  This is not Amazon FBA. This is simply Amazon selling a product that they have in their warehouse. If the competition offers free shipping you should too. Estimate how much shipping would be and include it in your profit and loss calculation.\n\nWhen selling products on Amazon you should check the level or competition you have.  Too much competition means that you will not sell your product fast. Too much competition along with a very large sales rank could lead to a product that does not sell in a timely manner.  You may have to walk away from a deal every now and then because of these two factors.\n\nOnline Store Sourcing\n\nOnline store sourcing is much easier than driving and going through mountains of inventory at local stores.  However, online store sourcing comes at a price. There are many websites out there that you can check to find good deals then turn around and flip them.  But, in reality, you can spend hours and days looking through websites. \n\nInstead, you can buy a membership to a retail arbitrage site or service that will allow you to get access to deals.  Here are a few applications that you should consider.\n\nBrickseek.com\nTacticalArbitrage.com\nFiverr.com\nYoutube/Patreon\nBrickseek.com\n\nBrickseek.com offers a membership where you can find deals online and deals at your local store.  The online deals provide you will ideas about which products out there are at a deep discount. However, the application will provide you with amazing local in-store deals that are usually not at the store.  I recommend that you heavily utilize the online deals and review the in-store deals with a skeptical eye.\n\nTacticalArbitrage.com\n\nThis website membership is very expensive but could get you a lot of sourcing deals.  I recommend that you take advantage of the one week trial while they still have it. One drawback about the application is that the application will give you a lot of sourcing leads but a few of them do not match Amazon.  So be careful. Make sure the products match before you buy them.\n\nFiverr.com\n\nOn Fiverr.com, you can pay someone to provide you with online sourcing leads.  I paid $15 for 10 online product leads in one week and was satisfied with the list that I have received.  You should consider this option if you are not comfortable purchasing expensive membership applications from a place like tacticalarbitrage.com.\n\nYoutube/Patreon\n\nSome Retail Arbitrage Youtubers have a Patreon where they will give you a sourcing list every month for a small fee.  I suggest you take advantage of this if the tacticalarbitrage.com monthly fee is too much for you.\n\nPurchase Products with Profit\n\nRetail arbitrage is a game in which you have to know the numbers.  Before you get to this point you should have non-book products with a sales rank of less than 100,001.  You should also have considered whether or not you are going to include free shipping. You should have analyzed the competition.\n\nNow what you should do is check out the price history of the item by having the Keepa chrome extension for Amazon.com.  You should review the price history of the Amazon product before you buy the product online. Trying to review Keepa in the store is difficult to do.  But if you can do it you should. This will help you in your overall decision to purchase the product.\n\nIn addition to checking on whether or not you can sell the product on Amazon, you should do the numbers with the Amazon calculator chrome extension.  You can check the profitability of the products by visiting Amazon’s Seller Central Profitability calculator.\n\nHowever, this is difficult to do in the stores.  So I recommend, whether you are an individual seller or FBA seller, that you fully understand the fees involved with selling on Amazon so that you can understand the profitability.  You can also use the Amazon Seller app to give you an estimate on FBA fees.\n\nMaintain Inventory or Ship FBA\n\nAmazon FBA\n\nWe have mentioned a lot about Amazon FBA.  Amazon FBA stands for Fulfilled by Amazon. You can have Amazon FBA fulfill all of your shipments by simply sending them your purchased products and they will automatically ship them to your customers when they sell.  The drawback with Amazon FBA is there is a monthly fee ($39.99 as of December 2018) and there is a fee per shipment. The fees are explained, listed, and provided at Amazon Seller Central. \n\nIndividual Sellers\n\nYou also have the option of selling as an individual seller.  This option is good for those who do not need a lot of room to ship their inventory.  But keep in mind, that if you become really good at retail arbitrage you may notice that you could have inventory all over the house causing storage issues.  You may have to dedicate your garage to your inventory if you prefer not to pay the costly Amazon FBA fees.\n\nAnalyze the Results\n\nOne of the biggest mistakes new persons make at the business of retail arbitrage is analyzing the results.  You should ask the following questions:\n\nWhich products did I take a loss in?\nWhich products sold the fastest?\nWhich products sold the slowest?\nCan I resource the products that sold the fastest?\nAny returns from customers?\nWhat was my expected profit?\nWhat was my actual profit?\n\nYou should look at why you did or did not meet your expectations.  Set goals and try to achieve them from month to month. Remember that knowledge is power.  The more you know how to make money at retail arbitrage the better you will be.",

They end up working for the rest of their life while having a part-time job as an affiliate.\n\nNot Putting Yourself in the Shoes of the Customer\n\nYou must understand the footsteps of your customer.  Your customer will sign up for your email list if they like your website and presentation.  You will eventually refer them to products that require another email sign up.  Will they be annoyed by this?  You should prepare your customers for multiple email sign ups!  Or try to mitigate this by sending them straight to the offer to buy.  This is your choice but the principle is to understand your customers and sales leads.\n\nHow to Avoid Affiliate Marketing Mistakes\n\nThere is soo many mistakes that you can make as a new affiliate marketer that I encourage you to get educated to avoid common pitfalls. This report included a cryptocurrency that is rarely looked at called ZCoin. What I mean by this is that market capitalization shows the public that the investment is worthy of being invested in. When investing, a lot of people forget to look at market capitalization as a control method to prevent investing in garbage. \n\nInvesting in small-cap investments, like ZCoin, is an issue that needs to be addressed.  Getting excited about small caps can lead investors into some murky water and into a “penny stock” type of atmosphere. You might ask, \"Why is ZCoin in a penny stock type of atmosphere?\" \n\nLet's put it this way, currencies like the US dollar and the EURO are measured in trillions of dollars.  Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are measured in billions of dollars.  ZCoin and other small cap Investments are under $100 market capitalization.  The issue of under capitalization could cause several issues. \n\nOne of these issues is the ability of someone or some institution having the ability to manipulate the investment.  There are all kinds of stories about penny stocks being manipulated by people, large institutions, and companies.  They do this because they believe that they can manipulate the price and force other people, through publications or some other means, to buy afterwards.  They then sell and pocket all of the gains.  You do not want to be a pump-and-dump victim. \n\nRealistically, the pump-and-dump scam does not happen all the time.  The idea of some person or company planning on making money from pumping up a company and sending it to hell is rather dumb. If you truly know the company or currency that you're investing in you should not be worried. If you are diversified in many investments you should not be worried aswell. \n\nBut why are we so interested such small investments? From what I can gather I know that the interest is derived from the following points:\n\n1.\tThe “penny” investment is hyped by their owners or operators to get you to buy.\n2.\tThe company that runs the investment will communicate that they are better than the larger competition.\n3.\tThere is a shopping market attitude (buy low sell high).\n\nPoint one and two of the above points is obvious to understand.  The owners of the company want your money in the investment so that the investment can reach new heights.  They will use marketing techniques and do everything they can to make you buy.  Not only do they want you to buy but they want you to sell something so that you can buy.  In essence, your money devalues one investment and increases the value of another investment.  \n\nWhat about part three?  Why is there a shopping market attitude?  What is a shopping market attitude?  You should not have a shopping market attitude when handling investments because the shopping market IS NOT the investment market.\n\n**The Food Market is NOT the Crypto Market**\n\nIn our mind when we hear of the stock market some of us associate the market with the supermarket or the grocery store.  Investment advisors and pundits will give us strategies on T.V. that are similar to how we shop at the grocery store.  Rarely does someone set out to buy the most expensive items. Unfortunately, this investment strategy can cause a lot of pain since we will take what we learned from the supermarket and try to replicate the strategy in our brokerage account.  When we look at how expensive coffee is we will try to find a substitute so that we can save money.  The concept of undervaluation is the concept that can be derived from this understanding.\n\nSo when we look for undervalued investments we are doing the same thing we do at the supermarket.  We are trying to find a substitute at the same price.  Instead of buying the company that has the strength to keep going up we try to buy a cheaper substitute that goes nowhere.  We should keep this in mind because, like in my previous posts and posts to come, we should buy on strength and not on weakness.  Buying on strength with the expectation of more strength with a clear sell strategy is something that will make you more money than buying on weakness.\n\n**Clear Your Mind**\n\nI know that a lot of you loved the previous post on the top five cryptocurrencies.  But you have to clear your mind of the shopping market attitude.  Buying weak cryptocurrencies that cannot prove themselves and get a larger market capitalization could end up losing you money.  You do not want to do that.\n\n**Cryptocurrency Today**\n\nAs shown in the graph below, Bitcoin has not gone anywhere for the last week.  Bitcoin, which represents about 33% of the total market capitalization, is testing its $6,000 support line for the fifth time this year. This is a bad strategy because the strategy is similar to the shopping market attitude as explained above.  This strategy is a buy when undervalued and hope that the market will value the cryptocurrency higher.  \n\nThe buying in hopes for an increase afterwards strategy could lead to disaster if the $6,000 support line is broken through.  As mentioned in previous posts, “The stronger the support line the harder the support line falls” is something that you should be concerned about.  If the market breaches the $6,000 support you can expect a swift drop to $5,000 and even lower.\n\nHowever, Bitcoin and other “Big 5” cryptocurrency traders are ready for a rally when the rally comes.  Litecoin, Stellar, and Ripple traders want Bitcoin to rally to new heights.  They want the rally because they know that their holdings are related to how Bitcoin performs.  They know that if Bitcoin does well then, their cryptocurrencies will do better.
