| body | My unvaxxed self was brought to attention this week when I was told I would be welcome to teach in their space IF I would acquiesce and get the medicine. They also told me that I would have to also assure them that ALL my students have their shots. I managed to stay alive despite the dangers of Covid. It seems to be perplexing to my leftie friends. Perhaps, I am safe because I am mostly teaching online piano and see people sparingly. My family celebrated Christmas OUTSIDE (no one allowed in house and only briefly if you can’t hold it) this past winter. Thanks to daylight savings time, Christmas lunch family gathering was put in the dark and we were opening gifts with flashlights. I laugh at how upside down covid culture has infected my family. Mom accidentally threw her giftcard in the christmas wrapping trash. That was a memorable treasure hunt. Many family members caught a cold and played quarantine for the remainder of the year. Guess who didn’t even get a sniffle? ME!! How baffling is that? Gratefully, not everyone in my family wanted to keep me in isolation punishment for my noncompliance. After three years, I finally had family questioning the government BS. I enjoyed playing Conspiracy Theory with my nieces and learning that they’ve never heard of Orson Wells or a book called 1984. They are reading uninspiring books about relationships and pronouns. Seeing the youngest members of the family treated like infectious germ factories, some of the adults were disappointed that a baby used to entering the house to make a beeline to the playroom was being warded away like a puppy from the door. Besides myself, everyone under 5 years old are not Covid vaxxed. I encouraged that the baby lead the way and help us break free from the fear habits gained. Our youngest family members freed us and I was able to WOW, visit and stay inside the house. I visited for several days. We had visiting family from Japan. I drank many tequila shots with my brothers and had the greatest time. Everything on the family front is getting better. Fear on loop compliments of the government, is a tough habit to drop. And dayuuum, I wasnt going to entertain a fourth year waiting on Fauci to green light my family life and people were starting to feel foolish telling me that I was dancing with a deathwish not getting my mRNA upgrade. It’s been raining and cold in California. It even SNOWED in Los Angeles. Still, I didnt get a cold or flu. But my car….ahhh poor Trinity. She has been unhappy not enjoying her former social life of drives and having me meet random people who want to share their VW family memory while running errands. My life has been a terrible roller coaster and though I am mostly stoic, its been humbling. I am embracing the suck and soldiering on. I’m surrounded by leftie friends that believe in Biden and hope that my confidence would grow. They kindly entertain my alternate reality. The banks had a funny week. My friends say all is good and the government and expert economists have saved the day. Cool. I received criticism over my crypto views and can only hope for the best. Debating over the existence of tyrannical powers that be is very “white nationalistic”. Everyone except me trusts authority. Sigh. Bank CONTAGION has been averted. Maybe. If I was an atheist, I would be mildly curious to read a book about corrupt governments that enslave their peoole. The Bible has tons of sauce. Nero, King Xeres would be a nice start. Anyway, hello friends. Waving hello from the wild ocean that is the internet. Spaceship JNET continues to float. If you fancy piano lessons, say hello. You get a crypto discount! Here’s to building a parallel economy where people survive the crash of the dollar. If you believe in that sort of thing. I will accept Venmo, I can hope the dollar survives too. My friends are really excited that Trump gets arrested tomorrow. The news makes me laugh at this point. Where are the UFOs?!?! JNET |

Many family members caught a cold and played quarantine for the remainder of the year.\n\nGuess who didn’t even get a sniffle? ME!! How baffling is that?\n\nGratefully, not everyone in my family wanted to keep me in isolation punishment for my noncompliance. After three years, I finally had family questioning the government BS. I enjoyed playing Conspiracy Theory with my nieces and learning that they’ve never heard of Orson Wells or a book called 1984. They are reading uninspiring books about relationships and pronouns.\n\n\n\nSeeing the youngest members of the family treated like infectious germ factories, some of the adults were disappointed that a baby used to entering the house to make a beeline to the playroom was being warded away like a puppy from the door. Besides myself, everyone under 5 years old are not Covid vaxxed. I encouraged that the baby lead the way and help us break free from the fear habits gained.\n\n\n\nOur youngest family members freed us and I was able to WOW, visit and stay inside the house. I visited for several days. We had visiting family from Japan. I drank many tequila shots with my brothers and had the greatest time. \n\nEverything on the family front is getting better. Fear on loop compliments of the government, is a tough habit to drop. And dayuuum, I wasnt going to entertain a fourth year waiting on Fauci to green light my family life and people were starting to feel foolish telling me that I was dancing with a deathwish not getting my mRNA upgrade.\n\nIt’s been raining and cold in California. It even SNOWED in Los Angeles. Still, I didnt get a cold or flu. But my car….ahhh poor Trinity. She has been unhappy not enjoying her former social life of drives and having me meet random people who want to share their VW family memory while running errands.\n\n\n\nMy life has been a terrible roller coaster and though I am mostly stoic, its been humbling. I am embracing the suck and soldiering on. I’m surrounded by leftie friends that believe in Biden and hope that my confidence would grow. They kindly entertain my alternate reality.\n\nThe banks had a funny week. \n\nMaybe.\n\nIf I was an atheist, I would be mildly curious to read a book about corrupt governments that enslave their peoole. The Bible has tons of sauce. Nero, King Xeres would be a nice start. \n\nAnyway, hello friends. Waving hello from the wild ocean that is the internet. Spaceship JNET continues to float. If you fancy piano lessons, say hello. You get a crypto discount! Here’s to building a parallel economy where people survive the crash of the dollar.\n\nIf you believe in that sort of thing. \n\nI will accept Venmo, I can hope the dollar survives too.\n\nMy friends are really excited that Trump gets arrested tomorrow. The news makes me laugh at this point. Where are the UFOs?!?!\n\n\n\nJNET",

I’ve been floating in Spaceship JNET, in solitude for a long while now. And this piece *Sleeping Lotus* has woken me from a malaise that has become a familiar friend. If it wasn’t for music, the Stillness would overcome me. It's year three of the Covid loop and people are still afraid. But, they've stopped telling me that I will die soon. That makes life a bit more pleasant. My world is a little bit melancholic and intense. Simple and quiet as I refuse to conform to the dismissive new normal. I enjoy the intense sections where I ask .... who is awake too? Who's listening? Time keeps moving. JNET |

| body | It’s been a bumpy several months. They say if you are unhappy with how the world is, VOTE, and make your voice count. I found myself in tears yesterday. Why are they still COUNTING? Isn’t this the part where we investigate the monkey business? News throughout the country showed the SElection was going on as planned. A ton of people showed up to find that their voting machines were glitchy or broken. Many of the RIGHT people went home in tears. J: “JNET, if you are an anarchist, why vote?” Dogs seem to care more who their masters are than humans. I don’t trust the government and like to keep my eyes on the Powers That Be more than my statist friends, voting for the person that will be a nice disruption to the corrupt establishment. Mass destruction is not done by a person; it is done by governments. It bothered me that I didn’t need positive ID to vote. My mailed in barcode was scanned and with a BEEP, I was able to cast my vote. I could’ve sent someone else and no one would’ve been wiser. It was easier to vote than get into comic con! KR: “I’m all set. I sent in my mail-in ballot.” JNET: “You’re supposed to vote IN PERSON. There’s some monkey business around the mail in stuff. Didn’t you watch [2000 Mules](https://rumble.com/v14mxhd-live-from-america-5.13.22-5pm-2000-mules-in-its-entirety.-please-watch.html)?” Most everyone I know hadn’t watched the film on corrupt election weirdness nor did they know that the investigators from [True The Vote](https://www.truethevote.org/) were arrested just before the Midterms. Very enlightening film. I had no idea people were so committed to their votes counting that they dropped off their ballots after last call at the bars…and made multiple visits to drop their friends and family’s ballots in the WEE HOURS! We live in a world where criminals are in charge and organized with their minions that like to do late night errands. It’s STUPID to TRUST that our overlords are benevolent. Yet, here we are accepting whatever the government tells us believing that we voted for this world we live in. Vax papers please to attend commie con. I need to write about how bizarre it was this year. I finally got to see some of my family. Maybe the world at large is fine with doing daily Covid tests. I’m not. R: “Come on J. Home tests are easy. Play the game and you can see everyone.” JNET does not PLAY. I’m OVERDUE writing the thoughts crammed in my head. Like I said, it’s been a bumpy road. I’m bruised up some. Tired. Three years tired of watching this foolish world being told everything is fine except that I could die any day since I’m vulnerable. It took a month to find a part to repair my VW. I was lucky. Living without a car in Los Angeles isn’t fun. I missed my VW. You know how I love my car. It took TWO months of searching parts for my friend to get her car sorted. Everyone sighs at the new normal. Only my conservative friends complain about gas prices being over $6 a gallon. My leftie friends think Biden is doing a great job. 🙄 The world is safer with Trump out of the White House. Anyone who thinks otherwise, is delusional. It’s safer to wear a mask. A more vicious Covid variant is on the horizon. Follow the guidelines and don’t ask questions. When did trusting the government become a thing? JNET My friend is on her FIFTH shot. It’s a miracle that I am still alive. Unvaxxed and still alive! I should buy a lottery ticket. |

| body | [](https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jnetsworld/eneedvdc) ▶️ [Watch on 3Speak](https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jnetsworld/eneedvdc) --- Playing with light & shadow. I'm getting better at dancing with the light. When I started my fascination of playing while manipulating light, I thought I would give myself a seizure. Entering and staying in character, I think of my hands as dancers. A pair of sunglasses helps in the blinding light. Wide angle lens and two mirrors refraction. It’s 5:15 pm sunlight. (I manipulated the arpeture) It’s sauna steaming hot at the piano but I like the way these long sleeves look in the light. 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe I’ll record a better version when the weather cools off 🙃 I've listened to many versions of this piece and everyone plays it faster. The Passepied is a dance from the Baroque period. How can anyone dance at such speed? People wore big dresses back then with corsets, petticoats, and hoops! Having studied and performed as a dancer has enhanced my experience of music. I feel music differently. I breath and enjoy the transitions. I find places like ritardandos, in the music, a place to languish, tease, flirt. There's technique but dance enjoys more organic expression. Less metronome and more heartbeat. I imagine parts where if I was on stage, how would I move? How would I use my costume? Passepied makes me think of a certain pride that a courtier indulges when romanticizing pastoral life. A dance that is measured and restrained with a tinge of wildness. The recording is far from perfect. But I enjoy the ohallenge that the piece demands. I like my students to see my process. Maybe I will post a better version down the road. How to stay serene in blinding light while wondering …. should I put on a bikini to be more comfortable? Do the mirrors need adjusting? Once the light bends a different way, the effect changes. These are the thoughts that bounce in my head while I work out the choreography of hands in the light. Plus wondering if I drank too much or too little coffee. Will this sound better with wine instead or winter weather? I can't turn on a fan or have the AC on. That would be an annoying background sound. I'm hot and I'm controlling my thoughts so that you don't watch angry moody hands. Passepied is a fun piece. Now that its later in the day, I think I will play it for fun, no mirrors, and no camera to fuss with. If you want to hear a better version, come over 😬 JNET --- ▶️ [3Speak](https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jnetsworld/eneedvdc) |

| body | <center></center> The music store had been around since the early 50’s. People that took lessons there as a child returned later with their children and likewise when those children grew up, they brought their children. It was/is a truly vintage charming place and a place I called home base since landing in Los Angeles. Many kids grew up in this old fashioned establishment and I’m one of them. I landed green out of music school and it’s at Charles Music that I was able to grow into becoming the teacher and woman I am and want to be; modernly independent yet classically old-fashioned. The owner, George, is an alumnus of Berklee. I felt like a bonus daughter as they matched wonderful students to me. Many are still part of my life. Charles Music came about the same era as Bobs Big Boy. It attracted people that loved the classic sensibility while life became more high tech. A music store is a place where people connect to their acoustic selves. This journey in learning music isn’t just learning to read notes to bang out a song. It’s more than muscle memory and being able to entertain. There’s a more profound lesson that even a child gets it. To learn how to listen to the world and be aware of how they practice to express themselves. I tell them that the piano bench teaches and says a lot about a person. People have quirky ways of displaying and mastering emotion. I’m there to coach them that they will never be defeated or bested by a string of notes. Some of my favorite things my students say to me and theirselves. “I got this.” “That was easier than I thought it would be. It looked scary a while ago.” “I can make that better. I want to play it again. Turn on the clock.” I measured each piece with a stopwatch. If they hemmed in frustration or gave constant commentary while playing, time showed that they can yet streamline their acoustic self. And they always wanted to prove it to me and themselves. It’s really special people that frequent family businesses in such a way that they are there every week. The Neighborhood Music Store. You’re neighbors in one space, without the walls. You strike up cool conversations that you continue the following week. Kids admire one another’s playing without the stress of a recital space. It’s really sweet when a student exits their lesson and the following student tells them that they sound great. It’s a rock star moment at a humble place. That’s the beauty of a neighborhood music store. The comedy channel even came to film a bit with the owner, George. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N66hCzg7IMw Kids may grow up and families may move but Charles Music felt like a part of Glendale that would never leave. Next week, I bring home my studio supplies and decorations. This was drawn by a dad while he sat in during his daughter’s lesson. I’ve been posting myself on blast. I’m looking for students that are looking for me. I won’t have Charles Music setting up my divine appointments for me anymore. I enjoyed so many happy years driving Trinity to Charles Music. Maybe you parked right next to her when you came over. <center></center> A lot of wonderful people came to this mom and pop music store, not just musicians. Maybe I’m teaching the kid across the street who’s practices all the time playing SONGS for a pet sitting on their lap, or your school nurse that relates to kids and parents with a wise sensitivity you wish more people had, or that co-worker that gets tasks done spectacularly and doesn’t need applause. <center></center> Covid changed the world and online won the business of those that used to go to the shop down the street. I hope the future brings back family businesses. The trend of investment groups owning businesses has made for some sharp looking restaurants and bars but it still feels corporate. Clean, modern, and able to do a brief shutdown for a quick overhaul. Modern businesses upgrade like apps. Family businesses are more organic. Support your local mom and pop family business. They are as organic as businesses can be. I don’t go to big chain stores if there’s a shop nearby. The business owner and American Dream is going to be an old-fashioned relic if we let big business eat them away. My student told me she wished she had money to buy the music store for me. I would’ve loved to see Charles Music into the bitcoin future. It’s a sad week for me. I will check out other music stores in the area. I hope to find another family business, another Neighborhood Music Store. If you have ever entered Charles Music, you’ll understand the nostalgia and how family businesses are also friends of the community. It’s your last week to say goodbye. Swing by. I’ll always be an old-fashioned gal with my modern streak. Say hello if you fancy piano lessons. I will be teaching online and at my home AND I accept bitcoin. And if you don’t know anything about bitcoin, I’d be happy to teach you a bit about that too. Visit your local family businesses. If they have been there for decades, they will have great stories to tell. Return for another story and support their business. <center></center> The community concerts were hosted after hours. Student recitals. Lots of good people gathering to share their love for music, unplugging from high tech and feeding their acoustic self. Thanks for being a significant part of my life, Charles Music, truly a magical place for many. Magical especially for me. JNET |

Elon Musk gained some redemption points because he’s planning to open a Tesla charging station with a drive-in theatre in [Hollywood.](https://www.thrillist.com/eat/los-angeles/tesla-elon-musk-old-school-drive-in-hollywood?fs=e&s=cl) And most exciting of all…..This is it. This. Is. It!! This is the week Trump goes to jail! Last month’s news has retired on the heap. I’m still living in Spaceship JNET, commencing on year THREE of sheltering solo. And people are still telling me it’s too dangerous for me to go out until I get vaxxed. Is Covid still a thing? I see friends in photos surrounded by tons of people at pride events. I thought of venturing out and checking out a meet up but I feel like Rip Van Winkle looking at the world and thinking “No thank you. Maybe later. I’d rather chill with myself and watch the circus online.” I only went out to vote and then went straight home. Well I like rainbows too! So here is mine for you. <center></center> I’ve always chosen to sidestep the currents of popular culture. I’ve always sat on the banks’ edge like a tourist and watched the flow with amusement. The world feels even more distant as I’ve skipped on many of the bonding events. I didn’t watch Game Of Thrones, Tiger King, or Squid Game. I never made it past the first episode of Stranger Things because it was too scary for me. Instead, I watched people become like a social blob. They all got their shots and posted the moment online. Some even made music videos that went viral around the world. I didn’t get my shot with a year of free doughnuts. I didn’t march in any events that got me tear-gassed. I feel like an odder odd ball than I was pre-Covid. Now, I truly don’t fit in and I’m not sure if people still embrace Vive La Différence. I see minions everywhere with their collective excitement (BANANA!) to their solidarity of outrage. They rally together and change their frames of their profile photos. It’s kind of cute. They are always happy even when something terrible happens. They’ve found fellowship in complaining, changing avatar frames, and always making time to take a photo of their cocktail to share online. <center></center> I’m not pill-shaped enough to linger incognito and I don’t have the stamina to stay trendy. I lasted less than a minute watching the Depp-Heard court drama before becoming too disgusted to continue. These celebrities are UBER wealthy and yet lead miserable lives. It was The Jerry Springer Show; Hollywood ELITE edition. How did they get such attentive coverage and yet other court cases like Ghislaine Maxwell didn’t allow cameras and an artist drew renderings of selective moments? You would think that a profitable blackmailing scheme that trapped powerful people doing terrible things to children would create protests, fundraising and awareness. But the interest and outrage is minimal. And so, very real bad people continue doing their thing. I got called out on being negative and told I needed to cheer up. So right. No use worrying about supervillains of the world. I won’t be having a banana but I can’t help looking at people in my new amusing way. Minions are happy cute creatures. Aren’t they? BANANA! JNET |

| body | [](https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jnetsworld/xagwrwhu) ▶️ [Watch on 3Speak](https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jnetsworld/xagwrwhu) --- I fell in love with this piece a couple of weeks ago and almost played nothing else til I got it memorised. I shared a very rough recording with my students so they can watch my oopsy moments. Hands show moods and thoughts and my rough recording was a MOODY juxtaposition to this. I won't torture you with that version. I'll torture you with this one instead! I will make a better recording down the road. I'm at the crossroad where I need to play something else before I fall completely out of love with this piece. Solas, its been real but I´m gonna put some love on another piece. Cuz, ya know I´m a player ❤️ My favorite time to practice is later in the evening when the din of life quiets down. I usually play til 10pm or 11pm. But my favorite time to record is when the sun lands on my piano just so .. to be my dance partner. Between 5pm and 6:30pm. I never get bored because the sun moves and the light changes. I can get plenty frustrated though because it’s recorded in one take and the sun sometimes surprises me …. Oooh that looks cool….oops mistake. Anyway, this is Solas by Jamie Duffy. It must be relatively new. There's not many recordings of it yet. Folks on Youtube only play a section. Here, you can enjoy the whole enchilada or at least my version. I found two different arrangements on a site where the arrangers bickered over transcription details. Geeks in a huff are goofy. I made my own modifications to play with capturing the light under my hands. Dance choreography for fingers! I miss dancing and going to dance classes. They require proof of vaccination in Los Angeles and some make you mask up. Steamy salsa dance class with a mask anyone? The Covid lifestyle is still very real here. It is a social life killer unless you can play along with the "papers please" game. People still like to state their vax status upon introductions. And they feel mortified if you are "unprotected." I feel like I have to say something like I promise to not die on their account. The dating apps have a section to put your vax status. 🙄 My piano is my boyfriend for now until Californians calm down. | body | Should I be preparing for inflation and a food shortage or should I be planning on summer vacations and attending San Diego Comic Con 2022? A couple of out of town friends complimented my garden. My basil is thriving. The squash and potato looks promising. And I have high hopes for garlic and onions. If the end of the world is at hand, I can only hope that I’ve prepped enough to stay put while Hell breaks loose and I wait it out in the Hollywood Hills. My friends made a dig on a mutual friend who has gone BIG in her gardening projects. D: “She thinks it’s the End Times!” K: “No one knows the day or time of the End Times.” N: “Everyone knows that NO ONE knows when the end times are!” JNET: “The world has been crazy these past couple of years. Mighty good time to get right with God.” They laughed. One asked if she could “poke the bear” and asked why I would be supportive of the verified despicable Trump demon. I told her being an anarchist, I have ZERO trust in government and legacy media but will vote for the most anti-establishment candidate to break things up. And that I had issue with liberal friends that encourage I shame my mother for being a lifelong conservative. Or, at the very least, look at her with pity and disdain. N: “I love your mom. I am not like those people.” JNET: “I’m glad you’re not like the other liberals. I’ve checked out conservative events and told folks straight up that I think government is a corrupt uniparty. They welcomed me and sat down to listen respectfully at length. I’ve not found a single KKK robe wearing racist or any racists for that matter. They have an open mind toward me so I have an open mind for them. In the good old days, you can believe in anything and survive the family table. Strange times we live in.” My poke-the-bear-friend felt compelled to take a couple more butter knife strikes despite herself. In the end, the others stepped in to help diffuse the moment and return the conversation to something innocuous like parties and memories of past mischief. I can’t help to think that I live in Panem, the Capitol of Hunger Games. There is an air of flamboyance and disconnect from the sufferings of the Districts. Those people fomenting rebellion are dangerous. They are the un vaxxed insurrectionists, racist nationalists, and a product of Christian patriarchy colonialism. These superspreaders keep meeting up and not dying like they were supposed to. Living in “Panem LA”, corporate businesses are revered higher than the mom and pops establishments. They guarantee safety because they had enforced mandates. The smaller businesses couldn’t update themselves and build apps to be a contactless business and therefore boarded up. Businesses with a public IPO is more trusted and have protocols posted on their websites. I have friends that host Oscar watch parties and pride themselves in being trendy and on top of pop culture. I am so out of it. I haven’t watched a single moment of the Johnny Depp Amber Heard court drama. I did wonder how Dave Chapelle got attacked onstage when security at the Hollywood Bowl is so strict as they make everyone walk through metal detectors and go through everyone’s picnic basket. They held onto my iPad last time as they were restricted! And, I didn’t know Alex Trebek lived across the street until a friend told me to check out the [estate sale](https://www.estatesales.net/CA/Studio-City/91604/3243012?fbclid=IwAR0ESOA5NwemLkgfREdGjq1RFpg_u1BvcZydpALsILVsxwOip0ILZVSUIB4) Here I am wondering if we are living in the end times and I have friends telling me to see if I can buy stuff from a dead celebrity. Jeopardy…. I’m following different news. I’d love to ask friends if they knew what the WEF is but I’d probably get a snarky response like “WTF is the WEF. Who cares?“ Everyone is on their respective journey. Tell me how many YEARS you’ve been telling your friends to buy bitcoin and that they still laugh when you bring it up. If I bring up food supply crisis or vaccine adverse reactions, they would say I worry too much and need to read more establishment news. <center></center> I have an enviable SDCC badge and attending comic con isn’t thrilling me. Will it be a papers please event? An official negative test is required from a lab prior to attendance. Should I worry that society may collapse? Ice Age Farmer reports on livestock being killed by the millions and zoo animals are getting Covid shots. Shanghai is in lockdown til there are zero cases. And Doomsday planes are up in the sky anticipating nuclear attack. https://youtu.be/ERrkofIBA2M I knew things were bad long before Covid and that I live in the proverbial belly of the beast. Panem LA. While my friends carefree toast with their cocktails, I seem to have noticed censorship, account suspensions, people getting locked out of their bank accounts, and a segment of society vilified as dangerous rebels, posing a threat to democracy. I know of people that have died from the vaccine. How extremely rare that they all died in their sleep. Nothing to see because the world is in a much better place now that Biden is president. https://youtu.be/KTjlkEEP8Pg May the odds be ever in your favor…. Seriously, it’d be nice that these rising prices are very temporary, world hunger not remotely an issue, and that we can trust the media and governments without reservation. Let’s let the politicians do their muscle flexing. It’s what they do. Isn’t there a new Marvel film to get excited about? JNET |
