      "body": "I was talking to a friend today, yes I do have a few people I call a friend, he brought up something so many of us seem to forget. All of us know and agree that most people need to work, however, the majority of people do not do what they dreamed of or love doing. If you have a job meaning \"just over broke\" stop and think about this, do you like what you are doing? If you have a job and it pays really well and supplies all your needs and wants, do you like what you are doing? Let us look at it this way, do you dread going in to work every day? Are you always irritable? Is there something that you see others doing and you think, wow, if I had only done that years ago? Folks, it is not about the money, yes we all know you have to have money to survive, but do you have to have that much to survive? Are we surviving or keeping up with the Jones? If you could do what you love and still make it in this world, would you? If not, then why? Do appearances to others matter more than your happiness? Do not let someone else dictate what you are doing. \nIf you have a son, daughter, brother, sister, or friend support them in their decisions. Right or wrong it is their decision and maybe, just maybe they do not want what you want for them. Maybe you know they could do or be so much more, again, not your decision. Let them experience life and all life's ups and downs, who knows, they may just do what they love and survive doing it. Let them do what you didn't or couldn't do, let them be the best at something they love. All of us just need to be the best at whatever we do, whether it be an artist, preacher, teacher, mechanic, truck driver, floor sweeper, singer, guard, bank teller, it really does not matter, just be the best one you can. Never stop learning about the profession you have chosen, someday you may be the teacher. Are you the best at what you do? If not then why? Maybe you need to change what you do. Go, go now, be the best at whatever it is you do. Thank you, my friend, for a reminder about life.",

      "body": "Have you ever had a hot dog from one of those little hot dogs carts?  You know the ones, you see them in the movies, on street corners, you hear people talk about them and how good those steamed dogs are. You may even hear the word \"DIRTY WATER\" when you hear someone talking about boiled hot dogs off a cart. Now the water isn't actually dirty, however, it is a term we \"hot doggers\" like to use to describe our secret water recipe and how we get our dogs to taste so good. I am about to tell you a secret, are you ready? Here it is, you can have your very own secret water recipe and be the envy of everyone when you cook your awesome one of a kind dogs.\n\n  Start with a good quality hot dog, some slingers say it doesn't matter what brand you use, some say it doesn't even matter if it is all beef or chicken lips. I will have to disagree, a good hot dog cart hot dog is not only about the taste but also the texture. We use Nathan's all beef dogs on our cart because it has an awesome texture, it is all beef which is what our customers want, and it just flat taste good. There are many good hot dogs out there so grab a few different ones and do a taste test, but only after you get your water ready.\n\n  The water. as long as your water is of good quality, and what I mean is it starts out clear and no funny taste or chemicals you have a good start to your very own \"dirty water\". Why do want to use dirty water?  Well, I will tell you, because the hot dog will retain it's flavor and will set you apart from all other slingers. There are as many different recipes for dirty water as there are hot dog slingers so I will give you a few ideas and also tell you what we use. It doesn't matter if you use sweet, sour, hot, spicy, mild, liquid, powder, solids like a whole onion as long as it is something you like.  Add whatever flavor or seasoning you would like to your water, cook your dogs and they will soak up some of the flavorings you have added as well as retain the original flavor from the dog. Leaving you with an awesome one of a kind dog.  Some things slingers like to use is garlic, beer, salt & pepper, peppers & onions, hot sauce, fruits for that tropical taste, juices, etc. There are so many different combinations you can use so just experiment and have fun. I said I would tell you what we use so here goes, beef bouillon cubes, jerk seasoning, or liquid smoke, they all make excellent dogs and people just smile when they take a bite because they know they have just experienced the best hot dog around.",

      "body": "My last post was about the Bible I know and use, today I would like to give you a few places you can learn about Jesus.  You can learn about Jesus from people such as other Christians, Preachers, Pastors, Evangelists etc. You can learn about Jesus through books such as the Bible and from children's books, books from people whom Jesus has Saved from a Hell that is real,  telling about their lives and experiences throughout it. You can learn about Jesus from Nature and all that is in it, the miracles that you see every day from the ground to the sky, our Jesus, our God made all things.\n\n  People who teach and preach about Jesus have a very big responsibility.  They are teaching people about Jesus and Salvation and if you mess that up people will spend Eternity in Hell, a very very serious matter. Do I believe teachers and preachers should have to go to school to do this? I do not, however, I do believe that furthering one's education regarding Jesus, Salvation, Heaven, Hell, the Death, Burial and Resurrection of our Saviour is a very noble and wise thing to do. Educating one's self can be done in many ways other than school/college, I believe the greatest way is to study God's Word and let Him speak to you, let Him show you. The more you know the more you can help someone understand the dire situation they are in if they are not Saved, the more you can teach someone about Jesus and His life. A good Preacher or Teacher cannot Save someone from their Sins, no one other than Jesus Christ and the belief in Him can do that, but most people need someone to teach them about Jesus and Salvation and that is where education, studying, Teachers, Preachers, and Evangelists come in.\n\n   Christians, well this could open up a can of worms, let us just get to the truth about Christians. Christian's are people, Sinners saved by God's Grace. They are believers in the Death, Burial, and Ressurection of Jesus Christ and believe in Him. Christian's are not a perfect people, although some believe they are, and some unsaved people believe that Christian's should be. No one on this earth, Christian or not, can be, nor will be perfect while living in a sinful body but we are forgiven. Jesus Christ died on a cross to save us from our Sins because He knew we could not save ourselves. We are not a perfect people, however, we should strive to be more Christ like in our lives, helping others with their needs and wants. Just because we are Christians and know we will spend Eternity in Heaven does not give us the right to sin, just as being a Christian does not make us perfect. Some believe that Christians are hypocrites when it comes to our beliefs and our actions, and in some instances, they would probably be correct. A lot of times though these are the same people who believe that a Christian should be perfect in every way and forget that we are just Sinners saved by Grace. We are no better and they are no worse than we are. We still commit Sin every day just as they do, the difference is we have been forgiven, not to commit any act we choose because we are forgiven but because we have chosen to accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. We will all stand before God one day and have to answer for the Sins we have committed, have you chosen wisely about your destination?  An Unsaved Sinner who commits a Sin is no worse than a Saved Sinner who commits a Sin. The Sin itself does not matter in Gods eye, a Sin is a Sin, human beings put a so called rating on Sin. Committing murder is worse than cheating on your spouse or stealing a car is worse than stealing a pencil, that just is not true in Gods eyes. \n\n  Although we as Christians have many faults, just as all people do, we can and should be walking and talking a Christian life as much as we possibly can, always remembering where we came from. People learn about Jesus through our actions and reactions, this is why most Unsaved people have a negative regard for most Christians. We as Christians cannot go out into the world and live like the rest of the world while telling people about Jesus and all He has done for us. If the Unsaved people cannot see a change in us, why would they feel any desire to be as we are? Why would they want to learn more about our Jesus? Unsaved people learn from Christians and when they see us doing the same things they are doing,  talking the same way they do and do not see a change in us after we have been Saved by Jesus then we should think of ourselves as they do, hypocrites. Christians are a good people to learn from, the problem is most Christians are not good Teachers about Jesus, I am not saying we do not know and understand, nor am I saying we cannot teach someone about the Lord, I am saying sometimes our walk overrides our talk because people watch what we do more than listening to what we say, and many times our Christian walk is not what it should be.\n\n My next post should be about books and nature and some of the things we can learn from both, however, it could be about something totally unrelated and completely off topic.       "body": "With all the doom and gloom in the world, isn't it nice to know JESUS? Born of a virgin, died on a cross, rose from the dead all for you and me.  \n\n   I know there are many Bible Scholars, Teachers, Preachers, Evangelists and many others who know more about the Bible and its content than I, however, I would like to share from my perspective the Jesus I know and the Bible I know Him from.  As the Bible says, we should all share His word and what He has done for us. This post will not have chapter and verse quotes,  I can, however, get them if needed, I just want it to be me talking to you about my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.\n\n   I am a Christian and a Sinner, I believe in the Virgin birth, without this belief the Christian faith would be no different than any other.  I will not go into detail about other religions other than to state that religion alone regardless of which one, will leave you in a Devils Hell. There are Christians in most denominations, as well as non-believers in most denominations, whether you be Baptist, Catholic, Church of Christ etc. it doesn't matter the denomination, it matters whether you believe in the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus. I do. \n\nAs stated earlier, I would like to talk to you about Jesus and the Bible I know him from. First things first, my Bible. I use a King James Bible which I believe to be the inspired Word of God. I know and understand the controversy surrounding King James and the King James Bible, however, God's Word should be freely given to the world, The King James Bible is the only one out of all versions that has not been copyrighted. Yes I know there is debate over this also, and the debate is that the King James Bible is copyrighted in the United Kingdom, it is not. It is however protected by ROYAL PREROGATIVE and can be reproduced under a Letters Patent by Crown licenses publishers. If the King James Bible had ever been copyrighted (which it had not) it would be in the public domain now anyways. Back to my point, God's Word should be freely given in its entirety, this cannot be done with other translations, you can use other translations and the words within them up to a point. I say all that to say this, my personal belief is that The King James Bible is the correct Bible for me. I believe the back of the Bible where it says( and I paraphrase) not to take away from, add to, or change the words in this Book, I feel that if you do not believe that your Bible is the true and correct Word of God can you really believe its content? Regardless of the Bible you choose, believe in it with all your heart and do not let anyone change your mind because if they can change your mind about your Bible they can change your mind about your Faith. \n\nMy next post should be about the Jesus I know and the belief I have in Him.",
