Trust.\nOne thing I’ve learned while studying cybersecurity is that attackers often target people before they target systems.\nA fake message saying: “Your account will be suspended.”\nA random link promising free rewards.\nAn urgent email pretending to be from a bank.\nMost times, the goal is not to “hack the machine” first. The goal is to manipulate the human behind the machine.\nThis is what makes social engineering one of the most dangerous cybersecurity threats today.\nTechnology keeps evolving, but human psychology remains predictable.\nPeople click when they panic. People trust familiar logos. People react emotionally before thinking logically.\nThat’s why cybersecurity awareness matters just as much as technical protection.\nIn my opinion, digital security is becoming a life skill, not just an IT skill.\nAs I continue building BasSecure, one of my goals is to help simplify cybersecurity knowledge so more people can protect themselves online without needing to become experts.\nThe internet has created amazing opportunities, but it has also created smarter threats.\nStay alert.
