To add to the excitement, the crowd went wild as the President’s motorcade passed by, en route to his golf course for the weekend.\n\nWhy, what a fun idea for a Saturday! Spend the day, not only spreading the word of Trump’s victory around, but also the coronavirus. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany is taking a little heat after claiming the march was attended by over a million people, when it actually had - at best, only a few thousand.\n\nAh well, no big deal. As we all know - math has never been one of those Trump supporter’s better subjects anyway. Yet another argument against homeschooling. That said, I do have to admit that there is a certain art to counting to one thousand - one thousand times.\n\nFun fact - more Americans actually died of Covid-19 these past few days, than showed up in DC on Saturday to cheer on their cult leader. But, oh my goodness, were those folks ever giddy, when they actually caught a glimpse of the President in person, even if he was just caravanning over to one of his resorts, for yet another weekend of golf.\n\nWhy, given that everyone there was in such agreement about Mr. Trump winning the election, I suppose he’ll no doubt be inviting all these fine folks down to his Mar-a-Lago resort, to join him in a little election victory party - masks not required.\n\nIn fact, it might be a nice gesture for someone to post an invitation to that “Winner's Rally at Mar-a-Lago” on one of their websites. It costs the current administration nothing to start to brief Mr. Biden, Ms. Harris, the new chief-of-staff, and ALL identified cabinet members and senior staff,\" Kelly wrote in a rare public rebuke of his former boss.\nKelly added that \"the downside to not doing so could be catastrophic to our people regardless of who they voted for.\"\nREAD: John Kelly's statement on Trump not helping with the transition to a Biden administration\n\"The current administration does not have to concede, but it should do the right thing just in case the Constitutional system declares they lost. It is not about the GOP or the Democrat Party. It is not about the president or about Mr. Biden. It is about America and what is best for our people,\" Kelly wrote. \"Mr. Trump should order the transition process begin immediately. It is the right and moral thing to do.\"\nPolitico was first to report on Kelly's thoughts about Trump's refusal to allow President-elect Joe Biden to begin working with federal agencies on the transition.\nRepublican lawmakers have begun backing the idea of Biden's transition team receiving the same intelligence briefings that Trump receives, especially after Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford, a Republican, backed the idea earlier this week.\nIn making his argument, Lankford noted that after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the bipartisan committee that investigated them found that the compressed time frame for the transition after the contested 2000 election may have contributed to the lack of preparedness for the attack.\nIn its report after the attacks, the commission said that the dispute over the election and the \"36-day legal fight\" that followed \"cut in half the normal transition period.\" The loss of time, the commission said, \"hampered the new administration in identifying, recruiting, clearing, and obtaining Senate confirmation of key appointees,\" diminishing US preparedness before the terrorist attacks.\nTrump spoke in public on Friday for the first time since a brief speech making baseless claims about the election last week and did not acknowledge that he had lost the presidential race.
