One memory he has was the hero worship he had for his  8  year old neighbor boy ( Russell) who lived 5 houses away from him.. He remembered that the sun rose and set on his friend .. He was his all time superman hero for this young boy and he would follow Russell everywhere.... one day while they were  crawling along the ground on their  knees playing war behind their houses, the hero saw a  wasp disappearing   in the grass in front of them... quickly the  hero stated it was a swamp  wasp and they really hate kids. If you bother them ,they will follow you and sting you till you die. Russell was watching the 6 year old and realized that the little boy was very afraid so he said to  the 6 year old \"don't touch it  and if you see them coming  run for your life to the bushes\".  Russell then stomped on the grass and yelled run..The 6 year old was frightened and ran as fast as he could but his hero ran faster and was in the bushes before the 6 year old.. ... The hero said if the 6 year old wasn't quiet and careful he might not die , but by that time the 6 year old was crying ,trembling and wheezing with fear as he watched to see if the swarm of wasps was following him. Russell said they won't come here ,but they will wait for you if you come out of the bush ... Still very afraid the 6 year old asked Russell what they were going to do. Russell smiled and said \"I  don't know, the wasps didn't see me; but they saw only you\". they aren't after me , I can leave any time I want and  ran home leaving the little boy frightened and alone hiding in the bushes. The 6 year old huddled  crying in the bushes all afternoon until his father found him at suppertime and took him home.\n\nThis immediately made me think of how many of us have had false  heroes  like this little boy??? How many of us worshiped our hero just  to be disappointed????.How many people ,false shepherds. false leaders. or things have we put our trust in ,just to be disappointed?????? Was your experience with your hero good or bad?\n\nThis reminded me about my childhood hero....he was my brother ..he was 8 years older than I and he was the biggest hero ever... This story ,particularly ,reminded me of a childhood memory.  I ,too, had been terrified and crying.\nWe always walked to my grandfathers farm a mile from our home  to help our grandparents with the chores .. there were my 2 brothers, my cousin, my uncle and me. My brother was 14 as were all the rest of our group ,but I was only 6  We were walking back home and it was getting quite dark ,when we came to the gate of a man who was known to be very cruel and would beat anyone who was near his property... On one side of the road was his gate and on the other was a slough of dirty water... As we approached the gate , the older kids ran away and left me alone right in front of the gate... I was petrified and couldn't cry out loud  because I didn't want him to hear me.  I didn't know where I was ,because it was very dark by then  and I was afraid I could fall into the slough; so I just sat on the gravel road and shivered and cried. A while later the boys came back and we finally got home... this terror of being alone at night stayed with me for a very long time... I couldn't tell my parents because my brother would have punished me . I finally was freed from this memory when they had healing of memories service in our church.  The neat thing that happened was 36 years later at my brothers daughters wedding , the cousin was there... He took me aside and apologized to me for his part in  leaving me in the darkness . I thanked him and we hugged ...we both had tears  and went on to enjoy the wedding... He has since passed .but I will always remember his apology and how good it felt when we hugged in forgiveness\n\nHave you a fallen hero or are you one ...?just acknowledge your part in it and you will experience such peace , that there are no words to explain it...\n\nvote for me and I will do the same for you ...thank you !.",

It isn't  just my Jesus that was born ,but he was born for all of us who choose to follow him ... (For God so loved the world that he gave us his only son, that whoever believes in him not perish, but have eternal life...John 3:16  )\n\n This Jesus came as a baby so we could understand what the  baby came to teach us,  mainly  that God is good... As this baby grew we learned what he taught .....basically love God with your whole heart. soul,  all your strength, all your mind and love you neighbor as your self......where in any of these statements do you see a reference to this being done just for me?\n\nI realize a lot of people do not believe in God but have their own choice of beliefs, but I don't think that their choice is just for them . I believe that people have free choice and believe in the path they need to follow to grow...I try to follow what this path is teaching me for my growth... that encompasses the growth of Jesus from baby to adult hood. . from birth to  the  cross....when Jesus was crucified on the cross ,did anyone see a banner that said he died just for me????? While working I always thought wow! would it ever be nice to just lay in bed until you wanted to get up.\n\n Well guess what I did today? I stayed in bed until noon ...finally got my wish ...was I  gloriously  happy/ completely rested? was this something I would continue? nooooooo\n\nLet me tell you what did happen...I was  very sore ..more than usual and I was very lethargic, something I don't feel when I get up. Did this make me happy ? no it did not...\n\nI wasted a lot of precious time hoping I could do this sleep till noon thing for a very long time just to find out it was such a disappointment ...now where do I go  with that?\n\nI sat down and thought about what it meant to have a wish manifest itself and come to fruition....\n\nDo you know what I learned from this? I have to forgive myself for thinking the grass is always greener on the other side....not once in my poor me (and I am not a poor me) state did I look beyond what I wanted... I did not ask if that grass was fertilized and that was why it was greener or was there special care given to it.....I just wanted to stay in bed NOW..\nToday I forgave myself for thinking things in my life should be this or that and not thanking God for all the gifts I get everyday...I forgave myself for judging people without asking why they did what they did... I forgave   a friend for hurting my feelings ....\nI have to work on this forgiveness thing every day to feel good ....something staying in bed did not do.\n\nHow about you do you have some one or something to for give.?...it really does free you and leaves you with a lighter heart.     try it...\n\nThe most important thing I learned from forgiving myself was that my grass is just as green as anyone else and that is good enough for me .",

I could never be myself, because I feared every one's judgment.... this caused me a lot of grief. \n\nMy daughter asked me why it was so important to get every ones approval.... I really didn't know what to say. She told me that my opinion was the only one that counted and that I should do what is right for me...\n\nI have been working on changing this fear of  judgment for a while now and I knew I  was changing but didn't realize how  much I had changed....\n\nI will explain.........\nI was shopping at a grocery store and after a while I was warm so I took off my coat...I had just turned the corner into another aisle ,and a lady  who was behind me tapped me on my shoulder... when I turned to look at her, she said to me \"  you have toilet paper caught at you waist\"  I looked and yep I had a good long strip right where she said it was....You know what would have happened before ...I would have left the store absolutely sick to my stomach. do you know what I did??????? I looked at her and said thank you , but I am sorry you don't like my tail.  She burst out laughing and then said ...you sure have a sense of humor.... we went our separate ways and I met her as we lined up to cash out.. She caught my eye and burst out laughing again .... I went up to her and said sorry ,but I thought I was in Walmart... we just burst out laughing and the cashier wanted to know what was going on and her answer was ...\"you had to be there\"... we said goodbye and I realized just how far I had gone over coming my fear...\n\nMy  advice for you is be yourself... live so you are happy.... no one really cares what you do ,,,, so just give up trying to change for anyone and change to make you happy.. you are the important one.",
