      "body": "![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmWLFEpjdCnKuBm7HQpFpzKaVqsCFyphoEXjQXX3P42Ajk/image.png)\nThe United States Department of Justice (DOJ) may have finally shed light on what happened to the US$620 million that “Malaysian Official 1” (MO1) had returned to his \"donor\".\n\nIn a latest civil forfeiture suit filing, the DOJ alleged that at least US$27.3 million was used to buy a 22-carat pink diamond pendant and necklace for “MO1's wife.”\n\nIt also indicated that the returned \"donation\" money was used by Penang born-tycoon Jho Low to purchase a US$750,000 photograph as a gift for actor Leonardo DiCaprio.\n\n\nA question for Khairy...\nMO1 is described by the DOJ as a high- ranking government official.\n\nIn response to last year's civil forfeiture suits, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Abdul Rahman Dahlan had confirmed that MO1 was Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.\n\nNajib however has denied allegations of misappropriating public funds for personal gain while Abdul Rahman said the fact Najib was not named in the DOJ filing showed that the prime minister was not a subject of investigation.\n\nIn last year's suits, the DOJ claimed that a total of US$731 million of allegedly misappropriated 1MDB funds had entered the personal accounts of MO1.\n\nThis included US$681 million transferred in March 2013, which the DOJ documents quoted the Malaysian attorney-general Mohammed Apandi Ali as saying that it was a personal donation from a member of the Saudi royal family.\n\nThe DOJ and Apandi both noted that in August 2013, US$620 million of the funds was returned.\n\n\n\n\nHowever, the DOJ claimed the money had originated from 1MDB, and was transferred to MO1 from, and later returned to, the Singapore bank account of Tanore Corporation.\n\nSingapore court cases on 1MDB established that the account was controlled by Low.\n\nHowever, what happened to the returned US$620 million had remained a mystery until the allegations listed in the DOJ's 251-page lawsuit yesterday.\n\nOn June 2013, two months before the sum was returned, the DOJ said Low had contacted jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, asking urgently for a diamond necklace with a \"18 carrot (sic) pink heart diamond\".\n\nThe next month, Schwartz travelled to Monaco with a 22-carat pink diamond, to meet Low as well as then Aabar chief executive officer Mohamed Ahmed Badawy Al-Husseiny aboard a yacht.\n\nAlso on board the yacht were the wife of MO1, and her friend - dubbed by the DOJ as \"Malaysian Friend\".\n\nOn the yacht, the group purportedly discussed the design of the necklace which would hold the pink diamond.\n\nAccording to the DOJ, Schwartz's next encounter with MO1's wife was in New York on Sept 28 to show a layout of the necklace's design.\n\nNajib and his wife Rosmah Mansor were in New York at the time for the UN general assembly. Najib addressed the assembly on Sept 28.\n\nThe DOJ claimed that the finished necklace was later delivered to \"Malaysian Friend\" in Hong Kong on March 7, 2014, so that it could be delivered to MO1's wife.\n\nIt is not clear if or when MO1's wife personally received the necklace.\n\nThe DOJ alleged that payment for the US$27.3 million piece of jewellery had originated from the US$620 million MO1 returned to Tanore in August 2013.\n\nOn Sept 9, 2013, US$58.85 million from the Tanore account was channelled to another account - Midhurst Trading Limited - which Singapore courts established was opened by Low under the alias of Eric Tan.\n\nThe next day, US$32.76 million was transferred from Midhurst to a DBS Singapore bank account for Blackrock, another account held nominally by Tan.\n\nFrom there, two wire transfers were made to Schwartz's Bank of America accounts totalling US$27.3 million.\n\nThe DOJ noted that Low might have used Tan's email to ensure his name was not associated with the diamond's purchase records.\n\nAn email from Tan to Schwartz's assistant, had asked for Low's name not to be stated in further emails \"as he is just an introducer and not the buyer.\"\n\nBesides the US$27.3 million pink diamond necklace, the DOJ also accused Low of purchasing 27 different 18-carat gold necklaces and bracelets for MO1's wife, worth a total of US$1.3 million.\n\nThe gold necklaces and bracelets were bought using funds allegedly misappropriated from a Deutsche Bank loan meant for a legitimate subsidiary of Abu Dhabi's International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC) - but was diverted to a dubious company mimicking IPIC subsidiaries.\n\nMeanwhile, another purchase allegedly made using the US$620 million MO1 had returned, was a photograph by Diane Arbus titled “Boy with the Toy Hand Grenade\".\n\nThe U$750,000 photograph was purchased with funds allegedly channelled from the Tanore account, to former 1MDB subsidiary SRC International.\n\nThe DOJ claimed that on Aug 30, 2013, three days after the US$620 million, a total of US$334 million was sent from Tanore to two overseas investment firms Enterprise Emerging Market Funds (Enterprise) and Cistenique Investment Fund (Cistenique).\n\nThen between Sept 4 and Sept 6, 2013, a total of US$232.9 million was allegedly wired from Enterprise and Cistenique to SRC International.\n\nThe DOJ claimed that US$233.4 million was then wired from SRC International to another investment firm - Pacific Harbor Global Growth Fund.\n\nOn Sept 10, the DOJ said US$228.7 million was transferred from Pacific Harbor to a shell company nominally controlled by Tan dubbed Affinity Equity.\n\nThen between Oct 28 and Oct 30, 2013, Affinity Equity transferred US$1 million to another account nominally controlled by Tan dubbed the Platinum Global account.\n\nIt was from this account that the US$750,000 for the photograph was paid for on Nov 1, 2013.\n\nThe DOJ stated that in March 2014, Low gave the photograph to DiCaprio as a gift.\n\nHowever, what happened to the rest of the US$620 million that MO1 returned is unclear.\n\nThe US$681 milllion MO1 had received has become popularly known in Malaysia as the RM2.6 billion donation.\n\nNajib and his supporters have insisted that it was a donation from a Saudi royalty",

Evidence increasingly suggests that this may be one of the side effects of men's fascination with porn, and it also may be turning into a more common problem of men's sexual health. \n\nOne survey of 28,000 Italian men found that \"excessive consumption\" of porn, starting at age 14, and daily consumption in their early to mid-20s, desensitized men to even the most violent images. According to the head of the Italian Society of Andrology and Sexual Medicine, this can cause male sexual dysfunction by lowering libido and eventually leading to an inability to get an erection. \n\n“Due to the pornography available on the Internet, we are finding out that this type of sex dysfunction is a real entity,” said David B. Samadi, MD, chairman of the urology department and chief of robotic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. “It is a problem in the brain, not the penis.\"\n\nTo some extent, porn-related ED can affect anyone, but Dr. Samadi said he sees it mainly in younger men who are in their teens and early 20s. \n\nBenchmark research from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore found that about 18 million American men have ED, meaning they're unable to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. The problem can be physical, relating to blocked blood flow to the penis; psychological; or a combination.\n\n“Most of the time, chronic disease, such as heart disease or diabetes, contributes to erectile dysfunction, but in my particular practice, I will say 15 to 20 percent of the erectile dysfunction I see is related to porn consumption,” said Muhammed Mirza, MD, an internist based in Jersey City, N.J., and the founder of ErectileDoctor.com\n\nAre You at Risk for Porn-Related ED?\nIt’s not necessarily how much porn a person watches. The type can also play a role, Samadi said. Unlike the soft-core porn images seen in such magazines as Playboy or Penthouse, online pornography is generally more graphic and often depicts kinky, deviant, or even violent behavior. It's also available 24/7.\n\nPorn can lead to unrealistic expectations that increase a person’s tolerance for sex. Samadi likened the phenomenon to what occurs when someone consistently drinks more and more alcohol. Eventually, that person has a harder time feeling inebriated. The same happens with porn and sexual performance.\n\n“You need more and more stimulation as you build up this tolerance, and then comes your reality with a wife or partner, and you may not be able to perform,” he said. Too much porn can desensitize a man to sex, and, eventually, he can be unable to get excited by ordinary sexual encounters, Samadi explained.\n\nChronic porn consumption can cause a shift in brain chemicals that may contribute to organic erectile dysfunction, said Dr. Mirza. “Your expectations become much higher than normal,” he said. \"If you look at any porn video image, they are magnified. This is not what the normal anatomy looks like.”\n\nSamadi agreed. “Many of the images seen in porn are unrealistic and magnified,\" he said. \"No one can go on for hours.”\n\n\"'Reel' life is very different than real life,\" said Nicole Sachs, LCSW, a social worker in Rehoboth, Del., and the author of \"The Meaning of Truth.\" The unrealistic imagery seen in some pornography can make men or women feel self-conscious, which could lead to problems with sexual function or intimacy, she said.\n\n“What seems so easy when watching porn takes work in real life,” she said. “Sex in pornography or even with prostitutes is quick, easy, and impersonal,” she said. “Intimacy is hard and can be embarrassing.” Queuing up the porn may seem like the easy way out, but this can lead to a vicious cycle. “Impotence begets impotence, and interest in porn can grow from there,” she explained.\n\nWhat Is the Treatment for Porn-Related ED?\nPorn-related ED is not treated with drugs designed to help men achieve an erection, said Samadi. “Medications are not the treatment for this because the problem is not the penis, it’s the brain,” he said. “There is a mismatch between the brain and penis, so you may get the erection with these medications, but not the satisfaction.”\n\nSamadi first takes a history to find out what may be responsible for the ED. “Shame and guilt may play a role if someone is watching lot of pornography, so I always talk to the individuals separately,” he said.\n\nTreatment is similar to a 12-step recovery program, he said. It starts with a 4- to 6-week plan to desensitize certain receptors in the brain. Talk therapy also helps address some of the underlying issues. “We also encourage men spend more time with a partner,\" he said. \"We try to have [partners] touch one another, reconnect, and slowly build the relationship back up.”\n\nIt’s not a simple fix, Sachs added. “Sex is half in your head and half in your body, and it takes work to treat the psychological component,\" she said. \"There is no pill to treat these issues.”\n\n\n\nI agree with this article...sometimes really like this....\n\n\nwatch porn but have no feeling of arousement",
