titleDone and done!
bodyI took the website down from public viewing today. I published it a few days ago so that others could go and take a look, and give me some initial feedback. Now that I have that feedback, I've been working relentlessly on adding content and depth. This morning I also reviewed and precisely adjusted the measurements of the every model/schematic, so that the manufacturer will be able to make better sense of the measurements and scaling when we speak tomorrow. When I went back to look over the schematics, I noticed several areas were not precise, whole numbers, for example. For the sake of precision and good general practices, I went back and completely reviewed, tightened up, and literally "perfected" every measurement, of every angle, every length, every width, every height, on every piece, vertex, edge, face, and line, so on and so forth. Every single electron, has now been properly, and perfectly measured. That has brought me to the point I am at now (10:34pm, 19 December, 2016). Fully ready to go, and making the call in the morning. It's ready! :) I originally thought it might not ship until the spring or summer, but to be honest, if I had the resources, equipment, or facilities, I could start production and shipping units, actually in the mail to your front door, maybe 2 hours ago! It's game time!

Now that I have that feedback, I've been working relentlessly on adding content and depth.\n\nThis morning I also reviewed and precisely adjusted the measurements of the every model/schematic, so that the manufacturer will be able to make better sense of the measurements and scaling when we speak tomorrow.\n\nWhen I went back to look over the schematics, I noticed several areas were not precise, whole numbers, for example. For the sake of precision and good general practices, I went back and completely reviewed, tightened up, and literally \"perfected\" every measurement, of every angle, every length, every width, every height, on every piece, vertex, edge, face, and line, so on and so forth. Every single electron, has now been properly, and perfectly measured.\n\nThat has brought me to the point I am at now (10:34pm, 19 December, 2016). Fully ready to go, and making the call in the morning. \n\nIt's ready! :)\n\nI originally thought it might not ship until the spring or summer, but to be honest, if I had the resources, equipment, or facilities, I could start production and shipping units, actually in the mail to your front door, maybe 2 hours ago!\n\nIt's game time!",

titleWhat is Frenemies??
bodyI've been playing the same games for decades at this point. Monopoly, Risk, Yahtzee, poker, Settlers of Catan, etc. But most games that I've played have the same basic formula: 1 person wins, everyone else loses. I am by no means a board game expert, or even a die hard gamer, to be perfectly honest. I used to play a lot of games when I was younger, but then life went on and I got distracted by other things. I say that because perhaps there are other games out there which already capture the spirit of this game I created. If so, please let me know! I'd love to see how mine measures up. Long story short, after going down the Illuminati rabbit hole, I came out the other side with a more colorful world view and essentially turned that worldview in to a board game. That game is "Frenemies" v1.0. In a nutshell, Frenemies is like a political game of poker, sprinkled with a dash of monopoly, and a pinch of chess. Perhaps the most distinct feature of the game is that you can't win solo. You will have almost no choice but to cooperate and negotiate with others. So much so that 2-player victories are baked in as one of the possible victory conditions. I simply don't think it's possible to win without the cooperation of others. And for me personally, that's where it's at. It's that dynamic of aligned interaction, that exchange, planning, scheming, working together & plotting to outsmart your opponents, that is where the game becomes very interesting and fun to play for me personally. Of course, now that I've made such a claim in to the public sphere, there is no doubt that someone will to pull it off just to spite me and rub it in my face. But that's legit, and to be expected. Personally, I look forward to it, and encourage everyone to at least try. The prototype was completed on December 6th, 2016, and now effort and energy is being redirected to the development of content and other materials needed to polish, produce, and bring the product to market. The game is currently slated for a 2017 release.

titleFinished!! :D
bodyAs of December 6th, 2016, 'Frenemies v1.0' is complete. All that remains is to find a legit manufacturer, content & marketing, and figuring out how exactly I want to package the game. At the moment I am thinking there will be tow editions of the game. The classic edition which is the cheapest, standard materials, like cardboard and plastic, etc. And a higher-end version made of wood and metal. If there is anyone in the community who has a direct line to any board game manufacturers, I am in the market and happy to pay cash, up front for a quality prototype. More to follow in the days to come, with a special focus on strategy and tactics. I look forward to collaborating with the community :)

My point was - and I still keep it - the confusion we make between our social media circle of friends, and reality. These are two different worlds. Very different. It gets obvious every time we have a big event like, for instance, elections. Half of the people are complaining that "they didn't see that coming" and that the world will collapse. It won't. Maybe their social media world, but the real world will keep going on.

bodySocial media is whatever you make of it. Using social media I discovered the story of a man who is has serious health problems and needs a cancer screening, and also received an eviction notice recently because times are hard, and money is short. I was able to contribute toward his GoFundMe campaign, and despite a goal of only $10k, the power of social media brought people together and last I checked we'd put together over $124,000 for this man. I am proud of that. Privacy is a non-issue as social media in entirely voluntary. You can lie about all those things you mentioned, and in many cases just not answer, or avoid sites all together. Using social media to complain about social media, is as you pointed out, an interesting paradox. It makes the entire criticism confusing in and of itself...

titleThe Day I realized I Was a Fraud
bodyI had a reputation for making money in high school. Back in '93, at the tender age of 10, I was running the school store at John Hill Elementary in Boonton, New Jersey. During college I was among a select few in my social circle to actually own a car; a BMW no less. It all seemed great at the time, but there was an unintended consequence to my perceived affluence. The fact that I was so far ahead of my peers financially, gave me a false sense of comfort and acheivement. No one else was trading multi-thousand dollar blocks of stock as they sat in their physics lecture. Taking notes during economics class, and every other class for that matter, my laptop was always open so I could keep an eye on the market and trade as needed. Relative to my classmates I was ahead of the curve and doing well for myself. But little did I know, I was only months away from a rude awakening. After eventually dropping out of college and failing to get any professional traction, I ended up in customer service at an internet marketing company. Up to that point I was the most affluent person in my circle. Everyone in my family was buried in debt, on the verge of losing their home, or subsisting on social security. When I arrived at the aforementioned marketing company, I was quickly brought back down to earth. One of the guys working there, a couple years younger than me, had the Tony Stark Audi sports car, and a boat, and a tricked out Jeep Grand Cherokee, AND a condo in a luxury high-rise. Suddenly, my 8-year old 3-Series didn’t seem so fresh. That being said, we had a good rapport and got along well. It wasn’t long before he was consulting me for trade tips and other investment ideas. Another kid who worked there, also younger than me, also had a 3-Series BMW. But unlike mine, it was the M3 model. One day we struck up a conversation and when he learned that I had a history of trading the markets, he asked me to critique his portfolio. At the time, his UBS account had a balance of more than half a million dollars. And that was before the market continued to move another 35% higher over the following 2 years. My ego was checked. I had come back down to earth. I wasn’t the hot s**t I thought myself to be. I may have known a lot about money, finance, and the markets in general, but I didn’t know jack about the most important thing of all – how to actually make money. You see people preaching on the internet all the time. Economists writing articles for the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, NY Times, etc. It seems like everyone has advice, but no one has an actual track record. I must have put on a really good show and talked a really good game because looking back, I can’t conceive of any other reason why anyone listened to me. I was making $14 per hour, working for them, and driving a car that was nothing compared to any of theirs. The moral of the story, is don’t take financial advice from people who don’t have money. You don’t ask your auto mechanic how to deal with a toothache. You don’t ask your dentist how to fix what’s wrong with your car. There are some areas of life where discrimination is absolutely appropriate, and free advice is usually worth exactly what you pay for it.
