I commend your honesty! let her have it and show her that her too little too late attitude is no longer working and no longer welcomed here any longer us us the Users and CO OWNERS of the blockchain! >Stopping the programic selling still doesn't address the issue of it starting up again at the drop of a hat. Steemit Inc still holds enough to keep buring 800k Steem for 5 or 8 years? first of all programic isnt a word eli lol second of all, WHOSE selling is she talking about? the market? or steemit incs? Like wtf is she talking about PROGRAMIC selling? PROGRAMATIC? PROBELEMATIC? dude she cant stop the market from selling she can only fucking create confidence and make people want to BUY..... its like she thinks she can hold onto investors like what is she gonna send court orders to investors DEMAND they Stop powering down? pisses me off how she acts like some Venezuelan dictator, like a communist trying to CONTROL the market from a central command point. vertical control, she has no idea how markets work these days and You have EARNED the right to cash out whenever you want, so fuck ANYONE who wants to insult you for being brave enough to tell everyone else you are cashing out, unlike teh many people who power down and still have a smile on their face wanting to entrap others into the scam so they can get a good price for their last power down So many steemians have ALREADY powered down and yet STILL enjoy massive upvotes, they just didnt bother to announce it, probably a smart move BUt we cant let NEW people come into steem and get SCAMMED the way eli and ned have SCAMMED all of us for the last 3 years knowingly or unknowingly I find it hard to believe that ned just accidentally this incompetent and hired this person with 0 crypto experience to run a hundred million dollar blockchain.... and yeah steemit inc runs the steem blockchain... until ned owns less steem then maybe we can talk but ned owns so much steem, why even seperate steemit inc from steem anymore? :P Unless has ned been cutting his stake? Itd be nice to actually know how much eh has, would be cool to see a financial report ..... you cant stop people from selling.... you have to do marketing to TARGET investors but you dont waste time BEGGINg old investors to NOT sell.... you can only work hard to launch new updates and get NEW investors NEW money, we need to TARGET BITCOIN holders and get THEM to buy Steem DIRECTLy with their bitcoiN! we just have to make teh case for steem with VIDEOS on YOUTUBE and PAY to get them promoted with ads and if youtube bans crypto ads we get around that with EDUCATIONAL videos about how Steem works! , Steem might seem like some useless investment you have to sell BACK to some one at a higher price but not if you are a company that can USE steempower...... imagine ALL the charity companies that have social media accounts, who spend LARGE amounts of money on ad campaigns and paying peopel to manage their twitter and facebook accounts, doctors without borders, Unicef, etc, this is a masive multi billion dollar industry and we can penetrate it with steem and get UNICEF to get a STEEM account and instead of spending money on ADS one month spend that budget on STEEMPOWER and use it to upvote peopel who promote Unicef..... thats one example of how you can PLUG STEEM into EXISTING industries and then those Unicef people can manage the unicef steem and probably make ALL their money back from upvotes from the community, that novelty will wear off after teh first few large charities join steem.... but THATS what steem can go aftyer World Wildlife fund or the NAACP are two other groups thata re PERFECT for steem, imagine if PBS or the Smithsonian joined steem and used steempoweer to upvote people instead of spending money on existing social media ad campaigns ....im sure theers plenty of examples where you can get MORE impressions from buying steempower and using @booster or @boomerang bidbots than by spending money on an ad for Instagram or Twitter or youtube with all teh fake viewers and accounts...... so plenty of charities and NGOs are perfect for steem but @ned has to setup a steem foundation to actually have people fulltime lobbying for steem, we dont even have a VC venture capital fund like EOS has with EOS VC .... we need that..... its like we have all the legos but ned has the important pieces locked in his room and he wont come out to play with any of us, he comes out to play on teh weekends when no oen is here and only plays with teh richest kids, but when we are all out with the lego mindplay he has all the motors and the special computerized legos we need to make this toy actually work.... one simple REDDIT TIP bot and we could have all of reddit using steem... i dont get why ned isnt trying to just work directly with reddit and their owners conde nast to help create reddit SMt for rewarding karma holders, bring back the reddit notes project and use steem for it... SMts need BIg partners to diferentiate themselves from steem engine and reddit could be a big partner for SMTs... but meh i dont see ned having the leadership or eli to go and get reddit users to learn about steem.... we need dedicated steem tip bot that lets reddit users tip each other with steem and we HAVE a few already just have to market it correctly.... also Steem could erally use a twitter bot that let you repost your tweet to save it on blockchain and gets you paid for it, @share2steem.io could make this tool for twitter users , and then use steeminvite.com or https://invite.steem.ninja to send aan instant invite link once you have a tip that reaches over 3 steem so you can pay for a new account :D I am also looking into using steem engien for twitch streamers so they can accept donatiosn cheaper than paypal for TTS and media, my goal is to get iceposeidon.live to use steem in some way, since all thsoe CX peopel are using dlive thanks to pewdiepie .... theres anotehr simple example of what ned coudl do, pay pewdiepie to post on steem BUt as part of hsi deal he has to come BACK at least 3 times in 1 month and LIVE STREAM himself UPVOTING his REPLIES on steem, so pewdiepie can give out a few dollars per comment after @nmed has delegated some SP to pewdiepie this woudl ebanoitehr SIMPEL way to promote steem without spending a dime, just use delegation and pewdiepie WOULD LOVE the idea of steem as its a decentralzied blockchain "version" of reddit where no oen can get banned or have post deleted, pewdiepie will LOVE this considering threats oif censorship of HIS content....... |

| body |
I've been navigating nutritional tribes for over 30 years now because of being delt a bad hand genetically. Been duped into the plant based narrative in the past, and went ovo-vegetarian for a few years untill I discovered new health problems (gum disease) were cured magically by just eating some duck liver once a week. Years later I found out that specific plant foods (legumes and sweet fruits such as bananas) were responsible for headaches and weight issues respectively. Like all diet tribes ever, a vegan diet is mostly narrative that pretty much breaks down when you run the data or run N=1 experiments. I'm not with the whole carnivore diet clan, but the number of people who resolve decades long health problems by eating nothing but water and meat is really telling us the plant based for health is humbug. As for genetics, we decent from entomophagous proto-primates and we as apes diversified to also eating meat, leaves, roots, fish and fruit. And guess what? Environmental issues faced today can be solved without monocrops and without monocrop fed CAFO meat if we just embrace our entomophagous root. Read the post I linked to. I'dd suggest we stop polluting Exyles comment section with this off topic sub-thread and move this discussion to that post instead.
Your logic is incorrect. Bananas do not cause weight gain, gaining fat is caused by eating too many daily calories. Eating a caloric surplus is what causes people to gain fat. Not all weight is equal. Gaining muscle is what bodybuilders try to do so we need to be more specific. Apes eat meat and fish out of necessity not choice, since they are running out of fresh fruit and veggies, in their natural habitat. Your health issues was most likely caused by not eating a proper vegan diet. The duck that you are eating, got all the nutrients and vitamins it has by other animals. If you follow it down the food chain far enough, they are all eating plants. Show me a vitamin or nutrient that exists in animal products that doesn't exist in plants in a much cleaner form. Was your gum disease bacterial? It could have been the antibiotics that they pump into the ducks that cured it. Hard to say, since I'm not an expert on that, but that is a possibility. |

| body | Dude, I've done months of deep digging into the topic. Those that are telling you animal products are healthy are brainwashed or shills of the meat and dairy industry. We evolved as frugivores, we need to eat our species specific diet for optimal health. Watch durianrider on youtube for the best info on this. Or watch What The Health. Or just look at the cultures that eat a lot of dairy and meat, and compare those to cultures that eat a lot of rice and fruit. Regarding cows. There are over 1 billion of them on the planet, and they take way more resources to grow than plants do. On top of that they end up eating a lot of plants for their food, so it's a double hit. Plus all the methane gas they release. There are much more cows on this planet than humans pound for pound. Exyle, keeps posting stake photos on his blog so I was trying to get his attention. My bad if it was unrelated. |

| body | You respond to a tech post that has nothing to do with animals or the environment with nonsense about cholesterol, that also has nothing to do with either animals or the environment. You really need those B12 supplements as brain damage is clearly starting to set in. And yes, I'm old, so will you be, just at a way younger age, in actual years, than me, on your current "premature aging diet. And what's more, if you care for those two you wouldnt be vegan if you had researched the facts first as you would have realized mono cropping hurts both way more than cattle farming. And as for cholesterol, the 20th century called and it wants it's science back. Google David Diamond, Ivor Cummings, Michel de Lorgeril and Uffe Ravnskov and look into their work. The LDL hypothesis is pretty much dead, and guess what, it's those plant based sugars and refined grains that cause CVD, not the eggs and bacon. Enough said, [here](https://steemit.com/nutrition/@mattockfs/some-thoughts-on-a-sustainable-and-healthy-diet) is a link to get you started on your obviously long path away from ignorance, premature aging and B12 deficiency induced brain damage. See you on the other side. |

| body | I agree someone has to pay. Who do you think pays for google's servers? The advertisers that run on their platform. These advertisers pay a lot because they have a lot of users. Do you think steemit's witnesses could run google's servers with the income that they make? Increasing the amount of users is critical to keeping steem as a cryptocurrency afloat for many years to come. So far it's mostly survived off of speculators, but the speculators, are getting smarter and the days of people throwing crypto money at anything with a blockchain developer are over imo. I see two main options for bringing money in. 1) bring in more users, then you have more traffic, which means more advertising moeny. 2) bring in more users to dapp games, these people pay for in app game coins or other things that brings in money. In either case users are important, and they need to be increasing. The alexa ranking of steemit.com is steadily declining. Do you think speculators are going to buy in if the user base is shrinking? Unfortunately, building UI's with aesthetic design and user friendliness are not steemit inc's strong suit. These detract from users wanting to join and stay. Along with other things like opinion flagging. My main point is that until these fundamental issues are addressed, the userbase and revenue will potentially decline, putting the steem blockchain at risk of fading away, or at a minimum, just existing with only a few diehard fanboys. Not a lot of revenue will come in if the traffic keeps going down. The speculators and investors will be looking at growth, as they should with any social network as a way to judge it's value. Who is going to pay the witnesses and blockchain developers when the investors and speculators leave due to declining users? |

| body | Obviously delegating to a project that never intended to stick with Steem long-term while while pretending it did is a disappointment for us all. Has nothing to do with "free" resources on a blockchain though. I agree that not everyone needs to manage private keys. Most people don't want that responsibility. That's why much of the cryptocurrency space (including Steem) is ahead of its time. The delegation model is what Steemit, Inc was doing for quite some time. As to their sign up process taking so long or not responding, I don't have an answer to that other than to use a competing sign up service or start your own. Again though, someone has to pay. I understand not wanting to try anymore and moving on. Many have and many more will. It's unfortunate that Steem hasn't yet lived up to the expectations that were created by it. |

Dan finally has figured out guest accounts on 3speak, something steemit.com should have been doing years ago. Not everyone needs or wants to control their private keys. Delegate to a guest account that many users can use until they earn enough to pay for their own account. Simple enough and users don't have to wait weeks or sometimes never to get their account. I had a friend sign up and she never got hers. I got tired of trying to make a difference, so I stared cashing out 6 weeks ago, another 6 weeks and i'll be fully out on all my accounts. |

| body | Yap, seemless onboarding is so key. I've been calling for this for months, but glad dan has finally brought it to fruition. Not everyone starting out needs a wallet, especially if 3speak will allocate the funds to them anyway. Blockchain projects will need some sort of centralization to succeed. We can't go from one extreme to the other, if we are going to appeal to the masses and not just small groups of crypto nerds. I think Dan understands how to run a successful business, which is sadly lacking in the steemit inc team. For example, putting seemitwallet on a separate domain, instead of a subdomain, makes the experience clunky as hell. I'm hoping 3speak helps pump up steem a bit, since it hasn't had a pump in a long time. |
