      "body": "Okay,\n since it is the start to yet another weekend - which is going to continue to 2 mad fuckin nights and back to yet another fuckallllll day of work on monday!!! , i thought let me spend the day with cooking some good lunch and feast myself with my favorite  food :) foodgasm before some OR***M ;)\nperfect way to start a happy and relaxed weekend before all the noisy late nights??\n\nSooooooooooooooo i decided to cook delicious BIRYANI for myself. (specialty   of my Late Mother REBORN !!)\n\nBefore i speak about the BIRYANI i cooked ,let me tel you a little about Biryani!\n\nBiryani is a very famous rice dish, which is made with a lot of different spices and methods of cooking.\nIt was originated with the Muslim in Indian sub-continent.\nIt is a famous Indian dish around the globe.  \n\nBack to the Biryani i cooked!\n\nSo this is a very special dish to me, as it is 1 of the first dishes i learnt cooking from my mother.\nAnd mind you this is very ADDICTIVE :P\n\nThis way of cooking Biryani is called DUM-BIRYANI !! ( you could look up google for types of biryani's)\n\nIt is a traditional way of cooking Biryani and counted as 1 of the best ways to cook Biryani. \n\nIngredients :\n\nMeat                            - 1Kg (of your choice) \nOnion                         - 1Kg\nTomato                      - 1Kg\nCoriander leaves   - 50gms chopped\nMint  leaves              - 50gms chopped\nBasmati rice             - 1Kg \n(preferable)\nGreen chili                - 5 pieces \nGinger and garlic   - 2 tbl spoons\npaste\nSalt, Red chili          - 2 t spoons\nTurmeric                   - 1 t spoon\nLemon                       - 4 pieces \nYogurt                        - 250 ml\nFresh ground          - 50 gms\nCoconut\nCardamom,Clove - 10 pieces \nCassia                        - 3 leaves \nCinnamon                - 3 pieces \nOil                                - 500 ml\n\nPreparation :\n\nSo the preparation looks simple, but it requires patience. There is a very famous HINDI saying which goes - \"sabhar ka phal meetha hota hai\" which means \"The reward of patience is always fruitful\" \n\nI call this technique SLOW and STEADY Win the MEAL! \n\nWill explain in the most simple way so all can cook and enjoy this delicacy !!\n\nTake a moderately big vessel - (This is for about 5-6 people. Please comment below with the pax so i could help you with modifications in the ingredients)\n\nVESSEL 1 !\n\nHeat the OIL\nAdd the ONIONS into it after oil is boiling \nAdd the cinnamon ,cloves ,cassia ,cardamom into the vessel  \nPatience till onions are caramelized then add salt,Chili powder and chopped,  turmeric powder\nAdd ginger garlic paste, yogurt and grounded coconut.\nAdd chopped tomatoes \nCook till flavors make you faint ( 12-15 mins ) \n\nVESSEL 2 !\n\nHeat water till boiling with mint leaves in it.\nAdd soaked rice in boiling water ( soak rice for 30mins)\nAdd salt (3 - t spoons)\nPatience till only half cooked (keep a track by checking the rice)\nStrain the excess water and add the half cooked rice into VESSEL 1 !\n\nSo VESSEL 1 has the flavored curry in the bottom and rice on the top.\ncover the vessel ( seal it with wheat flour - recommended ; Please comment to know how) with its lid\nand place anything heavy to seal the steam within the vessel. (could place a big vessel filled with water)\n\nPlace the vessel over a flat pan so that the vessel is not in direct contact with fire.
