      "body": "Good things take time. Waiting for positive changes to happen is often a lesson of patience and a huge challange in today's fast-paced world. \n\nTime is a higly valued resource. They say time is money, but it's actually more than that. Time is everything we have in this life and we often feel we're lacking this precious gift. \n\nWe're constantly on the run, feeling trapped in the modern rat race, eager to succeed and to meet our deadlines and goals that we forget how important it is to be patient. \n\nTime and patience are styongly linked. When we lack patience and we start feeling stressed and anxious about something, we often do it because we are under the pressure of deadlines.\n \nWe have many things to get done, both at work and at home and, often, there is a strict timeline for everything because, well this is how society functions nowadays.\n\nSo, what can we do to become more patient and stop feeling like we're constantly running out of time? \n\n\n![hourglass-1703349__480.webp](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdvaJtgBJhLFiFUadV5RoeSbiAfuke5MpxtjYWW8Q7v6e/hourglass-1703349__480.webp)\n\n\nFirst of all, we should work on setting our priorities. Usually, a calm and relaxed person also has more patience and is more understanding. Nowadays stress affects all of us in different ways, but there are also solutions to cope with it. Whether yours is sport, meditation, watching movies, or going out for a drink with friends, try to make time for it. \n\nDedicate at least half an hour each day to an activity that puts your mind at ease and you will see your patience and your entire mood improving. \n\nPatience is a gift, one that can help you make and retain friendships, one that can bring you great accomplishments in your personal and professional life. And if patience is not your strong point, there are ways to improve it. \n\nOnce you do it, you will certainly gain more peace of mind and start enjoying life more because patience brings you the clarity you need to realize what really matters in life.",

      "body": "There is a rating for everything nowadays. Almost every company that sells something online has a policy that enables its customers to provide feedback. Leaving a review, especially a bad one simply makes them feel empowered and important.       "body": "The past two weeks have been extremely busy and difficult for me and, I can only imagine, for most people who live in countries that have slowly started to emerge from the lockdown. As people start to go back to work (those who still have one), we are forced to get used to a new reality, one in which wearing a mask in public places is compulsory and failing to do so can result in a fine (at least in my country).\n\n\n![home-office-336377_1280.webp](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmedv9UwdMmrQC7i4yaV4giyTb5ZJ31giE9Bmjuk3vwvPg/home-office-336377_1280.webp)\n\n\nPeople are getting used to all sorts of new things know; keeping social diatance, not being allowes to leave the city without a valid reason, gettinf youe temperature checkes each time you enter the workplace etc.\n\nEven for freelancers like me things have changed although many of us were already used to working remotely. Many jobs have been whipped out by the pandemic, uncluding two of my collaborations which were serving the travel industry.\n\nThose who have also lost their job or a partnerrship during this period know how distressing it is to start looking for new projects now when moat companiea cut down expenses as much as they can in order to still be able to maintain their employees.\n\nHowever, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is also caused by the pandemic.       "body": "Everybody has suffered some sort of loss during the lockdown period that is redefining itself each day. While some of us have lost someone they hold dear, others have acutely felt loss of freedom and the most critical aspect wa sthe freedom to move.\n\n\n![oia-416136_1280.webp](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdZJbrkPvgypDuWrym2ATgvH4EXVbJ3WxWhmzCQh5REdr/oia-416136_1280.webp)\n\n\nFor some, including myself, traveling to foreign countries and visiting new places is one of the biggest pleasures in life. \n\nI don't exaggerate by calling it a pleasure as it is more than a mere hobby. It is a rason to struggle working for 10 hours a day plus some extra hours at the weekend, in a low income country liek Romania, to be able to afford a city brake 2 or 3 times a year.\n\nHowever, with the current lockdown, the joy of traveling, just like many other simple pleasures, has been put on hold while governments have tried to contain the spread of the virus.\n\n\n![florence-1066314_1280.webp](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmX1qMePTTGf6aYiwjySPdMf5oZc7vFF4DNQ5DuE1gExZV/florence-1066314_1280.webp)\n\n\nWhile many states have already granted their citizens some level of freedom to move in their country, it is yet unclear when travelling abroad will be once again allowed.\n\nUntil then, I will try to put money aside as much as posible and, hopefully, by autumn, I will be able to go on a trip somewhere in Europe.\n\nIn the meanwhile, instead of visiting new cities, I have recently taken up the hobby of visiting new streets and admiring the historic buildings in my neighborhood. It is nothing compared to the pleasure of travelling abroad, but at least it offers some sort of placebo effect.\n\nImages from www.pixaby.com",

      "body": "I am seriously asking myself this while we are seeing most states easing the restrictions and limitations they've imposed during the past two months due to the coronavirus. The lockdown has surely taught us a thing or two about what being deprived of freedom means. \n\nNow, more than ever people have started appreciating the simple things in life such as drinking a coffe at the coffebar, having lunch in a restaurant, or being able to visit your family. All these things became luxuries we could no longer afford during the pandemic.\n\nBut besides the fact that we now realize how great normal things and the importance of washing our hands are, what rlse have we learned during the pandemic?\n\n\n\nIn my country, Romania, the coronavirus restrictions are about to ease in a few days, but many people are already behaving as if life has already turned back to normal.\n\n\n![coronavirus-4810201__480.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmedGcUqRnZMEGN5i6CFtwVUEEZ3JYGzJCARKXz5Lqor6e/coronavirus-4810201__480.jpg)\n\n\nMany are already out on the streets socializing and ignoring any social distancing measures and many more are doing this in their homes, inviting friends over.\n\nNot surprisingly, my boyfriend has told me this morning that a friend keeps insisting to have a party at his vacation house, in a village near our city next weekend. \n\nPlenty other people are looking forward to similar gatherings in the upcoming feature, although, legally speaking, they will continue to be banned.\n\nIf we are doing this right after some of the restrictions are lifted, why did we nother staying locked indoors for two monts?\n\n\n![campfire-984020__480.webp](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmX53E8ZpMjK8LnmM8Jw79ByTXSHZ9nYLBgASM1qWFHGYq/campfire-984020__480.webp)\n\n\nThis is not the end, this is only the beginning. There are far more peopleout there carrying the Coronavirus now then two months ago when the pandemic was declared and countries began implementing restrictions. In my country, for example, there were little ofer 1000 cases when the state of natural emergency was declared and we became forced to carry a signed and dated declaration with us, atating the reason why we need to go out, which was either work, a medical emergency, practicing individual physical activity or buying groceries.\n\nNow that we are only 5 days away from seeing these restrictions lifted, which should happen on May 15, people have already started to behave recklessly.\n\nThey are gathering in groups, planning parties and holidays and stopped using masks when going to the grocery store? It seems like everyone believes that the end of the emergency state and the fact that there will be less restrictions marks the end of the pandemic.\n\nI guess we just have to wait and see what happens next.\n\nImages from www.pixaby.com",
