AccuWeather meteorologists say that some locations could receive as much as half a foot of rain.\n\n\"A stalled front, as well as some pieces of atmospheric energy moving along the front, will be the trigger for the persistent downpours,\" said AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Tyler Roys.\n\nAmple moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is expected to stream northward toward the front, helping to bring multiple rounds of rainfall into the weekend and raise the risk of flooding in as many as 10 states from Texas to North Carolina.\n\n\nLocations that are particularly at risk of flooding are those that have been recently inundated with heavy rain. Since mid-March, Atlanta has reported 3.74 inches of rain, 121% of its historical average during that time frame. In the same time period, Jackson, Mississippi, reported 4.83 inches of rain, 115% of the historical average.\n\nMuch of Arkansas has also been hit hard by storms in recent weeks as well, which has led to some stream and river flooding, according to Roys.\n\nPrior to this next round of rain, Roys noted that locations along both the Black River and White River in eastern Arkansas were already experiencing minor to moderate flooding. Much of Arkansas is likely to escape the heaviest rainfall this time.\n\n\nA wide swath of 2-4 inches of rain is expected from southern Texas to southern Tennessee and western South Carolina through Saturday.\n\nA more localized amount of 4-8 inches of rain is possible in southeastern Texas and northern Louisiana as the areas get pummeled by training thunderstorms into Friday evening. With more than half a foot of rain possible, Texans who live in cities such as Houston and College Station should be cautious of water that ponds on roadways and low-lying spots. Smaller creeks and streams may also overflow their banks.\n\nEven with smaller rainfall amounts expected farther east, the impacts could be just as great given the recent rounds of destructive storms across the southeastern U.S.\n\n\"Cleanup efforts from the recent rounds of severe weather, in places like Memphis, Tennessee, and the northern suburbs of Atlanta like Marietta, Kennesaw and Alpharetta, could all be slowed with the wet weather,\" Roys explained.",

At least five people were killed and many more injured in the pre-dawn storms, and AccuWeather forecasters warn that the dangerous storms will persist through the end of the week.\n\nThe continuation of severe weather was evident on Wednesday evening when a fatality was reported from storms in the Louisville, Kentucky area, according to Wave 3 News.\n\nEarly preliminary reports from the National Weather Service stated that an EF1 tornado touched down in the Newburg area. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) had reiterated the powerful language from the NWS, warning that a \"strong tornado\" with a rating of EF2 or EF3 was on the ground and urged residents to seek shelter.\n\nBollinger County Sheriff Casey A. Graham confirmed at least five people died in the Glenallen area as the destructive tornado tore through the southeastern part of the state. Their identities have not yet been released. The number of those injured or missing also was not released as state police assisted county and several local emergency agencies in search and rescue efforts.\n\nStorm chaser Brandon Clement shared photos of homes severely damaged from the storm, but it wasn't until daylight that the sheer power of the tornado became clear. Quoting Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence, AFP reported that three additional warships were detected in waters separating the island from mainland China. For the unversed, Beijing had repeatedly warned both sides the meeting should not take place, and deployed an aircraft carrier through waters near Taiwan hours before the talks began Notably, Taiwan leader Tsai Ing-wen held talks with McCarthy in Los Angeles yesterday, expressing gratitude afterwards for the meeting that she said showed her island was not isolated on the international stage.\nAn anti-submarine helicopter had also crossed the island air defence identification zone, according to the ministry. Despite Taiwan having been ruled separately for more than 70 years, China views it as part of its territory and has vowed to one day seize it, by force if necessary. China carried out its largest-ever air and sea exercises around Taiwan following a visit in August last year by McCarthy's predecessor, Nancy Pelosi, to the island. China deployed warships, missiles and fighter jets into the waters and skies around Taiwan in August. \nCHINA'S STRONG REBUKE\nHours after the Tsai-McCarthy meeting, China issued a strong rebuke. \"In response to the seriously erroneous acts of collusion between the United States and Taiwan, China will take resolute and effective measures to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity,\" China's foreign ministry said.\nHowever, there were no initial signs of extra military activity on Thursday morning on Pingtan island in southeastern China -- home to a People's Liberation Army base and known as the closest point on the mainland to Taiwan.",

      "body": "A 44-year-old man has been criticised for marrying a 28-year-old woman who looks \"exactly like his daughter\".  \n\nChris, from the US state of Arizona, met Savana when she started working for him as a hairstylist. Chris was going through a divorce at that time.\n\nSavana told YouTube channel Love Don't Judge, \"We met when I came to his salon and I interviewed there as a stylist and wasn't interested in having any kind of relationship because I just left one.\" Once Chris went through his divorce, he started to find excuses to speak to Savana whenever she was on shift.\n\"Once I was separated from my situation, the more I would talk to her, be around her. I felt there's something super special there that I had never really felt before,\" he said.\nThe couple hid their relationship as they knew they'd be judged.Chris' daughter Tizzi also worked with them at the salon.\nWhen the relationship came to light, the couple faced backlash from colleagues and strangers.\nSavana then started sharing details of their relationship on social media.\n\"I had made the mistake of putting my age above where I was and her [Tizzi's] age above where she was [in one of my videos].
