      "body": "Lesbians have more orgasms than straight and bisexual women. A study by Garcia, Lloyd, Wallen & Fisher (2014) surveyed a nationally representative sample of 6,151 women and men. The study demonstrated that for women, the rate of orgasm varied by sexual orientation.The mean occurrence rate for heterosexual women was 61.6%, 58% for bisexual women, and 74.4% for lesbian women.\n\nIn this study, men regardless of sexual orientation, reported consistently more orgasms than women. \n\nAnother study examined the duration and frequency of sexual encounters in same-sex and heterosexual couples. Blair & Pukall (2014) surveyed 822 participants between the ages of 18-79. The  results of the study reported lower levels of sexual frequency for lesbian couples, but revealed a key difference in sexual duration. Lesbian couples reported an average length of sexual encounter to be somewhere between 30-45 minutes, while the couples in other types of relationships tended to average around 15-30 minutes per sexual encounter. An earlier study, conducted by Cohen & Byers (2013) reported that women in same sex sexual encounters reported an average of 57 minutes.\n\nThe extended duration of lesbians’ sexual encounter (as compared to heterosexuals) may provide women the necessary amount of foreplay that's missing in many heterosexual sexual encounters, and it gives women time to get fully aroused, increasing the likelihood of achieving an orgasm. But as Nichols (2013) points out, it’s more complicated than just duration. In Blair & Pukall’s (2014) research, lesbians and gay men report using oral sex more frequently than heterosexuals who tend to rely on penetrative sex to reach orgasm, despite the fact that most women can’t orgasm from penetration alone.    \n\nAdditionally, Nichol’s  (2013) reports that  heterosexual women don’t expect to have an orgasm, while women in lesbian relationships assume an orgasm is a given (Para. 6). \nSo maybe the critical difference is expectations? They are primarily infectious diseases and include not only such common venereal diseases as gonorrhea and syphilis but also infections not usually regarded as being sexually transmitted. Among the latter are shigellosis, salmonellosis, giardiasis, and amebiasis. Patients' symptoms are non-specific and seldom helpful in diagnosing particular diseases. The practitioner must be prepared to identify a number of infections with similar presentations that may occur singly or together in gay men. Gonorrhea is probably the most common bacterial infection in gay men. Carriage rates as high as 50% have been reported, and extra-genital carriage is common; this necessitates culturing the urethra, rectum, and pharynx. Procaine penicillin G is the treatment of choice for most patients; spectinomycin is probably the drug of choice in penicillin-sensitive patients. In contrast to other venereal diseases, syphilis may have a characteristic protoscopic presentation. Benzathine penicillin G is the treatment of choice for most patients. Lymphogranuloma venereum causes penile lesions and inguinal lymphadenitis in heterosexual men, whereas homosexual men are more prone to proctitis. The disease may mimic Crohn's disease. Recommended treatment includes tetracycline or sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim. Shigellosis usually presents as an acute diarrheal illness. Patients generally require only supportive treatment with fluids. Herpes simplex viral infection is difficult to diagnose and has several different presentations, including lumbosacral radiculomyelopathy. Symptomatic treatment with sitz baths, anesthetic ointment, and analgesics is recommended. Venereal warts are believed to be caused by the same virus that causes verrucous warts; they are usually found in the anal canal or around the anal orifice. They are commonly treated with 25% podophyllin solution. Parasitic infections include giardiasis, amebiasis, and pinworm infections. Metronidazole may be used in the treatment of symptomatic giardiasis and amebiasis, but it is not approved for the former indication; quinacrine is approved for giardiasis. Pinworm infestation may be treated with pyrantel pamoate or mebendazole. Cure of enteric diseases in homosexual men must be documented",

The only difference is men hide it better.\n\nIn this study, conducted by neurologists at Mindlab, men are actually much more sensitive than women when it comes to being presented with emotional stimuli.\n\nThe study took a group of 15 men and 15 women, sat them down, had them watch a series of videos you would expect to trigger emotional responses and measured their responses via skin conductance electrodes.\n\nThe content was categorized into four areas: blissful, exciting, heartwarming and funny.\n\nThe results showed that men had stronger emotional reactions to each of these areas. When it came to the heartwarming content, men responded twice as much as did women.\n\nWhen asked to rate their emotional response to the content, women stated that they were much more emotional than the test results showed, while men said they were much less emotional than they actually were.\n\nIn a separate survey conducted by the same company, 67 percent of these men later went on to admit they actually felt more emotional than they let on.\n\nWhile the study was conducted on a small group of individuals and those individuals were all parents, one cannot say for certain how well this applies to all men, however, it does make sense that guys are more emotional than women.\n\nHere's why:\nMen have been taught to keep their emotions to themselves.\n\nI'm sure there are some men out there who were raised in a household that praised emotional honesty.\n\nBut even such individuals had to have stepped out into the world and realized the rest of society and the culture we've built over the centuries prefers men to keep their emotions to themselves.\n\nWe were taught to believe sensitivity is synonymous with weakness, which is exactly the opposite if you think about it.\n\nSensing more, feeling more, experiencing more, understanding more, interacting with the world more, that is a strength, an advantage — not something to be ashamed of.\n\nBoys are taught to be ashamed of the emotions they experience, so they grow into men who are both emotionally confused and in denial.\n\nEmotions aren't meant to be suppressed. Many women will still use this as an argument squasher.\n\nThe truth is, men didn't allow themselves to understand the way the women they loved felt because they didn't understand why women weren't willing to follow the rules they were taught to follow.\n\nDon't cry. Don't pout. Don't complain. Be a man — an emotionless, stubborn man. Again, not all men but most, I'm afraid.\n\nMen were taught emotions are a sign of weakness. Women were taught the opposite. So what are you left with?\n\nMen who believe women are weak because they're emotional and women who are pissed off they're seen as being weak for something they were taught to embrace.\n\nGirls care for fake babies they call dolls. They play house, have tea parties (again, this has almost certainly greatly changed now), while men race, play violent video games, wrestle, etc…\n\nThen, the age of the hipster came along, and all of a sudden, the gender roles began to dissolve.\n\nMen are becoming more accepting of the emotions they are experiencing, as well as more open about them, while women are becoming more independent, more sexually open and more emotionally reserved.\n\nEventually, once we stop acting to impress, we'll find a nice balance — and hopefully say goodbye to the man bun.",
