      "body": "I tried smoking Salvia divinorum at the age of 15. I only did it once, but that was all I ever needed to do again. After I took the hit I held it in for a good 30 seconds. My reality around me started to morph and I got pulled in a downward motion into a world made of Legos. There were giant ones little ones all different colors, and all different types of geometric Legos. It felt as if I was there for eternity but in reality I was only there for about 12 minutes. I experience was so reality dissolving, and it took me many many years afterwards to understand what happened to me. I would say it was a positive experience looking at it now, but at the time I know I was way too young to understand what I was doing and it freaked me out. Some of these psychedelic drugs can be a positive in ones life, but nowadays, people treat psychedelics as a fun thing to do. I believe they are tools for Humanity and you must learn how to use these tools and above all else you must respect them.",

      "body": "For those who may not know, Salvia Divinorum, better known as “Salvia”, is a substance which induces hallucinogenic states instantly and for a very short amount of time. In the following article I will discuss the short-term as well as the long-term affects this substance has had on me as a 13 year old who had used it consecutively for 21 days.\n\n\n![Salvia Divinorum](http://www.shayanashop.com/Product_Images/big/Salvia_Divinorum_Leaves_421.jpg)\n\n\nTo begin we must understand that Salvia greatly varies in potency, ranging from 5x to 100x; perhaps even greater. It is commonly stated that an individual new to Salvia should try 20x and move up to 40x to achieve a stronger affect. I personally cannot speak on behalf of lower extracts, below that of 80x, as I have never tried any.\n\n\nTo spare you time, I will not be discussing how I was able to afford and obtain Salvia Divinorum.\n\n\nAn old friend of mine was a few years older and had heard of this substance. All he knew about it was, it caused one to “trip” and that it was to be smoked. I admit total foolishness as I had not questioned anything about it nor researched it even slightly. Fast-forward 6 days and we now have an endless supply of Salvia. Half of the Salvia was 100x, the other half was 80x.\n\n\nThe two of us, Tim and I, grabbed a bag of 100x and went to an abandon baseball field a mile away. We spent a couple hours there smoking Salvia as you would Cannabis. We bickered about how it tasted poorly and how nothing was happening. We put it aside and focused on Cannabis. A few hours later, we parted ways and each returned home.\n\n\nThe next day after school I went to Tims house and we had begun researching how to use the substance. Tim sat in a nice leather computer chair reading and quickly said, “we need to safe-proof the basement.” I removed everything sharp from the room and wrapped blankets and sleeping bags around the lally-column (support beam).\n\n\nAs he continued reading, he had begun to read aloud, “take a big hit, hold your breath for 45 seconds or longer.” I had all ready packed 100x Salvia into a bong and was ready to go. I sat comfortably on his couch, took a big hit and held my breath for 45 seconds. Life has never been the same ever since that hit. 12 years have passed since.\n\n\nI exhaled and within 10 seconds I began to laugh, and laugh, and laugh. Then I realized, I cannot continue to laugh for I have no oxygen left whatsoever. Fear swept over me – then it hit me.\n\n\n\n\nFirst, around 50 beings flew directly at me out of no where, landing on me and pinning me down to the couch. They we're shaped like bungee cords, but instead of hooks on each end, they looked  like circular magnets with faces on them. The faces were all very happy and smiling. They we're mostly green in color.\n\n\nIn the course of 10 seconds they completely strapped my body to the couch, pushing me back and holding me down. After 10 seconds I freaked-out, for lack of a better word. I swiped them off of me and had thrown myself forward onto the floor. The moment I swiped them off, I was no longer among this Earthly realm. I no longer was in a house but rather a large field. There was no walls, no ceiling; not a single thing was the same.\n\n\nI was pulled from this Earthly realm and injected into another similar, Earth-like realm. I picked myself up, off the beautiful green grass which extended forever in all direction. I was astonished to say the very least. I had taken a few steps forward and turned around, 180 degrees. I then looked to my right. About 150 feet away from me was a train, chugging counter-clockwise along a track. I watched in awe for what seemed like a full minute. The perspective of the train and track seemed as if it was 1000 feet away, yet it was right there as if I could have taken 5 steps and grabbed it with my hand. The train was mostly black and I am unable to recall any other colors.\n\n\nI faced forward again and terror struck. There stood a robotic woman 10 feet in height; green, grey, brown, and very boxy in appearance. Her arms extended in front of her but instead of hands, her arms were attached to what can only be described as the handle to lawnmower. The metal bars then extended lower to what can only be described as a steamroller with a single roller, covered in metal-spikes.\n\n\nAs I noticed the robotic woman it was quite obvious that she was not pleased with me. Not pleased with me at all. The vibe I had gotten was, “you're not ready, why are you here child.”\n\n\nWithin seconds of acknowledging her she had run me over, immediately returning me back to the basement of Tim's house. I was standing, facing the couch about which was about 10 feet away. I had sat down for a few minutes puzzled. My mind was rather blank, I couldn't recall what had happened. Hot and cold flashes occurred for at least 30 minutes. The trip itself lasted about 4 minutes – less. Tim offered me food and we ate, and laughed about just anything, ignoring the trip entirely. I remember being quite giggly. I had taken a bag of 80x Salvia and headed home.\n\n\nAfter that first trip, I had never left this Earth-realm again. Although 80x is enough certainly strong enough to send one traveling through space-and-time, I believe I was too worried to strive for such affect. Perhaps on a subconscious level. If not, the door was locked and I was not permitted entry.\n\n\nFor the next 20 consecutive school days, I arrived home from school and smoked a couple bongs of Salvia. On all of those 20 days, the trips were exactly the same.\n\n\nI would stand on the deck behind my house, pack the bong and follow protocol. I never left this realm again, instead two entities came to me. They were kind and friendly. We would talk and talk and talk. To this very day, I still cannot recall a single word of what we spoke about, but all we did was talk.\n\n\nThe two entities appeared in the same form every time. One was a toaster and the other was a seem of a concrete wall. Rather difficult to explain, I won't even try. Both had faces, bold spoke calmly. They were extremely comforting.\n\n\nI used Salvia twice a day for those 20 days. When the effects wore off I took the second hit and after that second trip ended I stopped for the day. On all of those 20 days the same two entities visited me, spoke with me and I suppose soothed me.\n\n\nI have never used Salvia since although from time-to-time I feel as if I should seek-out the “robotic woman” from my first experience. Moreover, I think I all ready found her; or she found me rather. She is love. A mycelium-like energy networking though the consciousness of The All.\n\n\nTo sum up the **short-term effects** in which I had personally experienced, I would posit that initially there may be fear or panic, followed by astonishment and wonder. Following the immediate affects would be hot and cold flashes, chills, and sweating. You may find yourself taking yourself putting a sweatshirt on after and then taking it off a few minutes after.\n\n\nThe **long-term effects** are tricky to describe. Previously I mentioned, “I have never been the same since”. I want it to be abundantly clear to you that this was a beautiful experience of my life. I experienced everlasting ego-death, uncovered mysteries of another realm and beings. I had **not** been tormented by any spirits or demons; nothing of the sort. There we're negative aspects to the experience however. For example, I would posit that I spent about 500 days in an altered state of consciousness. I separated myself from everyone for quite some time, pushing everyone away and ignoring people. I wouldn't say I was confused, but perhaps a bit hazy. Everything seemed so superficial. The commercial version of everything and everyone. I outcasted myself.\n \n\nI wanted to share my experience with you for many reasons. I hadn't research Salvia for quite some time or looked into peoples experiences, but when I had years ago it was truly a bunch of malarkey. However, we do experience things in our own way and with this substance it's quite clear how large of a role the subconscious mind plays (as with all things). We share this realm, not only with each other but with beautiful plants and all sorts of life. They we're mostly green in color.\n\n\nIn the course of 10 seconds they completely strapped my body to the couch, pushing me back and holding me down. After 10 seconds I freaked-out, for lack of a better word. I swiped them off of me and had thrown myself forward onto the floor. The moment I swiped them off, I was no longer among this Earthly realm. I no longer was in a house but rather a large field. There was no walls, no ceiling; not a single thing was the same.\n\n\nI was pulled from this Earthly realm and injected into another similar, Earth-like realm. I picked myself up, off the beautiful green grass which extended forever in all direction. I was astonished to say the very least. I had taken a few steps forward and turned around, 180 degrees. I then looked to my right. About 150 feet away from me was a train, chugging counter-clockwise along a track. I watched in awe for what seemed like a full minute. The perspective of the train and track seemed as if it was 1000 feet away, yet it was right there as if I could have taken 5 steps and grabbed it with my hand. The train was mostly black and I am unable to recall any other colors.\n\n\nI faced forward again and terror struck. There stood a robotic woman 10 feet in height; green, grey, brown, and very boxy in appearance. Her arms extended in front of her but instead of hands, her arms were attached to what can only be described as the handle to lawnmower. The metal bars then extended lower to what can only be described as a steamroller with a single roller, covered in metal-spikes.\n\n\nAs I noticed the robotic woman it was quite obvious that she was not pleased with me. Not pleased with me at all. The vibe I had gotten was, “you're not ready, why are you here child.”\n\n\nWithin seconds of acknowledging her she had run me over, immediately returning me back to the basement of Tim's house. I was standing, facing the couch about which was about 10 feet away. I had sat down for a few minutes puzzled. My mind was rather blank, I couldn't recall what had happened. Hot and cold flashes occurred for at least 30 minutes. The trip itself lasted about 4 minutes – less. Tim offered me food and we ate, and laughed about just anything, ignoring the trip entirely. I remember being quite giggly. I had taken a bag of 80x Salvia and headed home.\n\n\nAfter that first trip, I had never left this Earth-realm again. Although 80x is enough certainly strong enough to send one traveling through space-and-time, I believe I was too worried to strive for such affect. Perhaps on a subconscious level. If not, the door was locked and I was not permitted entry.\n\n\nFor the next 20 consecutive school days, I arrived home from school and smoked a couple bongs of Salvia. On all of those 20 days, the trips were exactly the same.\n\n\nI would stand on the deck behind my house, pack the bong and follow protocol. I never left this realm again, instead two entities came to me. They were kind and friendly. We would talk and talk and talk. To this very day, I still cannot recall a single word of what we spoke about, but all we did was talk.\n\n\nThe two entities appeared in the same form every time. One was a toaster and the other was a seem of a concrete wall. Rather difficult to explain, I won't even try. Both had faces, bold spoke calmly. They were extremely comforting.\n\n\nI used Salvia twice a day for those 20 days. When the effects wore off I took the second hit and after that second trip ended I stopped for the day. On all of those 20 days the same two entities visited me, spoke with me and I suppose soothed me.\n\n\nI have never used Salvia since although from time-to-time I feel as if I should seek-out the “robotic woman” from my first experience. Moreover, I think I all ready found her; or she found me rather. She is love. A mycelium-like energy networking though the consciousness of The All.\n\n\nTo sum up the **short-term effects** in which I had personally experienced, I would posit that initially there may be fear or panic, followed by astonishment and wonder. Following the immediate affects would be hot and cold flashes, chills, and sweating. You may find yourself taking yourself putting a sweatshirt on after and then taking it off a few minutes after.\n\n\nThe **long-term effects** are tricky to describe. Previously I mentioned, “I have never been the same since”. I want it to be abundantly clear to you that this was a beautiful experience of my life. I experienced everlasting ego-death, uncovered mysteries of another realm and beings. I had **not** been tormented by any spirits or demons; nothing of the sort. There we're negative aspects to the experience however. For example, I would posit that I spent about 500 days in an altered state of consciousness. I separated myself from everyone for quite some time, pushing everyone away and ignoring people. I wouldn't say I was confused, but perhaps a bit hazy. Everything seemed so superficial. The commercial version of everything and everyone. I outcasted myself.\n \n\nI wanted to share my experience with you for many reasons. I hadn't research Salvia for quite some time or looked into peoples experiences, but when I had years ago it was truly a bunch of malarkey. However, we do experience things in our own way and with this substance it's quite clear how large of a role the subconscious mind plays (as with all things). We share this realm, not only with each other but with beautiful plants and all sorts of life.
