Good day everyone, it's your girl @ijeoma30 and I'm here with another exciting diary session filled with fun activities and I hope it brightens up your day. \n</p>\n<p>\nFrom my previous diary session I wrote about going to church for rehearsals and today was the grand finale. \n</p>\n<p>\nWe had a program this past week for the young singles(Ys) and missionette in our church where we came to learn and also rehearse for our day.\n</p>\n<p>\nAs usual I woke up today by God's grace and started my preparation for church service.\n</p>\n<p>\n I ironed my clothes, cleaned my shoes, took my bath and dressed up and trekked to church. I got to church late because they had already started Sunday school before I got there and I missed the topic and other things. \n</p>\n\n![20260607_091259.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmPSb6fVoCgQSLjCFx8CFsSMm2waTytnbSyutsqiCpgUpz/20260607_091259.jpg)\n<sup>My outfit</sup>\n<p>\nSunday service began with announcements then the project committee came out for collection of project seed for the growth of the church. \n</p>\n<p>\nAfter this was the worship session then the church handed over to us (the ys department). \n</p>\n<p>\nWe started our program by introducing important personalities in our midst then special presentation started. \n</p>\n<p>\nFor my special presentation I did Bible recitation on 4 Bible verses psalm 75:6-7, Deuteronomy 28:13, Joshua 1:9 and Ephesians 3:20. I'm a really shy person but I managed to carry out my presentation and did not miss my lines. Prerequisite courses once you've failed them you can't register the second course in the next semester so you must pass them before you scale through. \n</p>\n<p>\nAlthough I knew what that meant and I still slacked back. I missed classes, skipped some assignments, and also started my reading very late which was  during the exam period. \n</p>\n<p>\nNow during my reading time was when I realized how bulky and tough those courses were and because of this, I was convinced that I would fail. We all wrote the exam and waited for results. \n</p>\n<p>\nWhen the results were released, I was surprised that I passed all three courses but not with distinctions. At that time, it felt impossible to get through, but I did, and it became one of the most memorable experiences in my academic journey.\n</p>\n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\"> How has this tough time changed what you value most? </div></center>|\n|- \n<p>\nThe tough time taught me that I needed to be more disciplined and take my studies very seriously because a lot of people I knew failed the course and there is every probability they won't pass the course again even after rewriting it and what prerequisite courses does is that it slows you down and results in an extra year or more extra years in school which affects your normal graduation time.       "body": "<center><div class=\"phishy\"> What's something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did? </div></center>|\n|- \n\n<p>\nAs an undergraduate in the University, one of the toughest situations I faced was passing three prerequisite chemistry courses in my second year.\n</p>\n<p>\n In my first year, every course was easy to me because i still carried my background knowledge from my secondary to the university so I passed in my first year. \n</p>\n<p>\nNow this made me nonchalant in my second year and I took those prerequisite courses as the others. Prerequisite courses once you've failed them you can't register the second course in the next semester so you must pass them before you scale through. \n</p>\n<p>\nAlthough I knew what that meant and I still slacked back. I missed classes, skipped some assignments, and also started my reading very late which was  during the exam period. \n</p>\n<p>\nNow during my reading time was when I realized how bulky and tough those courses were and because of this, I was convinced that I would fail. We all wrote the exam and waited for results. \n</p>\n<p>\nWhen the results were released, I was surprised that I passed all three courses but not with distinctions. At that time, it felt impossible to get through, but I did, and it became one of the most memorable experiences in my academic journey.\n</p>\n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\"> How has this tough time changed what you value most? </div></center>|\n|- \n<p>\nThe tough time taught me that I needed to be more disciplined and take my studies very seriously because a lot of people I knew failed the course and there is every probability they won't pass the course again even after rewriting it and what prerequisite courses does is that it slows you down and results in an extra year or more extra years in school which affects your normal graduation time. Hello my favorite steemarians it's another session with your favorite writer @ijeoma30. My day was very fine today and I'll tell us all about it in the diary below.\n</p>\n\n<p>\nToday started off with rain . Since we entered the month of June there has been a steady downpour of rain. \n</p>\n\n<p>\nI really enjoyed my sleep as a result of this rain because it's been difficult sleeping at night which I have my late night reading habits to blame so this rain was like a soothing balm for me to sleep. \n</p>\n\n<p>\nOnce I woke up, I thanked God for an amazing day by prayers and worship. After this, I headed straight to revision because I had exams today though I have been preparing for it before today but I needed to revise since it's a morning exam.\n</p>\n\n<p>\n I brushed my teeth, took my bath, wore my clothes then cooked my breakfast which was noodles and ate. \n</p>\n\n![IMG_20260605_074002_716.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQme9eTnWFzMS7K1yJQK66L9msYV3FP3WkmK6UcDLz89vw3/IMG_20260605_074002_716.jpg)\n<sup>My breakfast</sup>\n\n<p>\nI called my coursemate when I was done so we could both go to the venue of the exam together. Today's exam code is titled Bio 351 which is Introduction to Genetics. The exam was scheduled for 1hr 5mins but we took more than 2hrs writing it to show you how serious this exam was.\n</p> \n\n<p>\nI thank God because I did not enter the hall with fear though the questions were neither hard nor simple but I was able to attempt it all.\n</p>\n\n <p>\nAfter the exams I came back home to rest o and cool off .
