This level of Self Awareness is quite visible almost by default and obvious to everyone.\n\nBecause of the frequency of time you engage in certain activities, people starts associating such actions to individuals. This level is a bit beyond individual control zone because we can't control how people form opinion on the actions we exhibit daily.\n\n>while individuals can control belief systems, actions are formed out of them and can't be easily controlled.\n\nThis is why it is hard to break some habits if the root cause of such actions/habit is left unchecked.\n\n# Values and Principles \n\nThese are the ideals we stand for as individuals. At this level individuals have achieved a certain level of personal will that makes those values and principles unbreakable \n\nPerception and feelings of others become irrelevant if they contradict your values and principles at this point.\n\nThink of **Mother Theresa** and her resolve to helping the destitute. The values and principles make us little less like a water Lilly that get driven by every form of opinion. \n\nThe insecurity of acting contrary to popular opinion is also gone at this stage. You can now truly say \"Your words is your bonds\".\n\nRigid and firm individuals exist at this stage of Self Awareness. It doesn't matter your own judgement of them as good or bad, they are firm with strong values and principles they will rather *die* than *break*.\n____\n\nWe are on step 4 of the ladder, hope we are all enjoying the ride.\n",

      "body": "\nToday we will start a conversation on self-awareness.\n\nThe idea of **Self-Awareness** ripples through almost all the facets of our lives. It has been proven that the more **self-aware** we become the *better our thinking* which inevitably improves our **choice quality** and **decision making** process.\n\nWe will gradually walk through the 7 levels of Self Awareness, this I believe will give us an **objective assessment tool** to determine our current level in this ladder and then only can we design a formidable *strategy* on improving this **critical aspect of our lives.**\n\n____\n\n\n![IMG_0145.JPG](https://res.cloudinary.com/hpiynhbhq/image/upload/v1519716610/b9b51fir3gzr7dfrgikb.jpg)\n\n[image source](http://www.google.com)\n\n# Blaming and Complaining \n\nThis is the basic level of Self awareness. Call it the \"level by default\". I believed we all at some point start from here and through conscious efforts move up the ladder.\n\nThis level is characterized by persistent shifting off responsibilities to others. Individuals here blame and make excuses for every failure or misfortune they experience. \n\nReinforced by the weird believe that the world is so unfair to them **ALONE** and instead of directing their efforts towards getting something better out of the crises ridden world, such individuals would rather throw their hands up and blame everything else but themselves.\n\n# Belief Systems\n\nThis is the second level of Self awareness where individuals start condensing their daily actions (inactions) into belief systems.\n\nStrong belief system that guide actions and behavior going forward. The system also determines our outlook into the world. The belief we form is critical to our  future trajectory. \n\nThe level of success we can aim towards and how we assess success are all determined at this stage.\n\n____\n\nThis is a wrap on the very first two steps on the **Self-Awareness** ladder.\n\nWatch out for the others in subsequent posts.  \n",

The master had expected everyone to trade and by extension - made profits from the allocated talents on his return. The logical explanation of the 1-talent man was buoyed on an extra layer of accountability.\n\nHe returned the talent intact. Whole time value of money has made me understand that his action, because of elapsed time, amounts to destroying value. \n\nThere still seem to exists a strong sense of good judgement in his actions - he assessed the safety of holding on to the talents while waiting for the return of his **hard** master and to avoid the risk of spending the talent - he kept it underground.\n\nHave you tried to retrieve the money you gave out to friends and family for a supposed \"investment \"?\n\nFrom my experience, it is easier to make a camel go through the needle's eye than get your funds back in most situations.\n\nBut this 1-talent man, apart from inflation eating into the value of the talent, **kept and returned** the talent in whole.",
